Well I'm starting all the way over. This time I hope I can just stick with this story, and not totally start over like I did.

"Sammy your boys a wuss!" Anji said.

"What'da you call me mother fucker?" I looked up and turned my head, eyeballing my friend. The wolf held up his paws, smiling. "It's true," he said.

"Man," I growled. "If I could get outta my seat right now..."

"Well you can't," Sammy said. "Not until I'm done playing with your hair."

"Ha ha!" Anji laughed, slapping paws together. I growled again, but sat still like Sammy had told me.

"Come on leave the guy alone," Cale chimed in now, looking away from his book. Laying beside him with her feet in Cale's lap was his own girlfriend, Rani.

"Your an ass Anji," I muttered.

"What was that mate?" Anji leaned down, pulling at his ear so he could hear me better.

I growled again, but scratched the back of my head with my middle finger.

"Oh," Anji said in a mocking tone, "I'm shaking so bad right now..."

I sighed, and slumped further down in the bleachers. But Sammy tugged at my hair, I sat up, and she started started to weave her fingers through my hair again.

My friend and I, Samantha West, were sitting in the bleachers with my friend Anji Todd, and my other friend Cale and his girlfriend Rani were also with us. We were all friends, and always hung out together. I obviously tended to spend a bit more time with Sammy since she didn't make fun of me like Anji did, but I had known Anji for a long time now, and he was fun to hang out with. Even if he did make fun of me.

"I'm just saying," Anji leaned back in the bleachers, putting up his feet. "If you always let Sam braid your hair instead of bending her over, you'll never get anywhere with your relationship."

"Oh, sex jokes!" I exclaimed. "That's so original man!"

"I know!" Anji threw up his paws. "Sometimes it just comes to me."

"Oh what would I do without you and your jokes," I shook my head, and held up my paws.

"Well since your not doing Sam I don't see the problem," Anji replied. He laughed again, and I felt an embarrassed smile roll across my face.

"Ever the gentlemen, isn't he T?" Cale glanced up from his book.

"Oh yeah!" I nodded, a serious look coming over my face. "You know Anji wears a three piece suit when he goes to bed at night."

Cale snickered, and I heard Anji let out a "pffff" sound.

"Whatever," Anji said. He leaned back and put his paws behind his head, doing his best to look cool. "I can pull any girl I want."

"Whoa!" I turned around, and Sammy let go of my hair. She frowned at me, and I put a paw on her leg. "That sounds like big talk Anji!"

"It's not talk it's action bro!" Anji shot back. "I bet you I can pull any girl in here right now."

"Oh, listen to this!" I rolled my eyes, and turned back around. I leaned back on the bleachers, and Sammy put her chin to top of my head. "Any girl huh?" I asked.

"Any girl," Anji nodded, and came down the bleachers. He sat beside me and threw his arms over the seat behind him. "Pick any girl in here right now, and I'll swoop in and woo her with my charm and physique."

I spit out a laugh, and drew an angry glare from Anji. I sat up, holding my stomach, and Anji glared at me harder. I could feel the wolf's blue eyes piercing my very soul, but I was laughing to hard. Anji glared at me hard, flexing his paws.

"Whooo..." I wiped a fake tear away from my eye, and looked at Anji. "That was fucking funny man."

"Asshole," Anji drew the word out.

"Okay, okay," I cleared my throat, and leaned back. Sammy put her chin on my head again, and draped her arms around my shoulders. "Any girl in here," I muttered, running my eyes over the pool room.

The Green Pine University swim team were all here, and all standing or sitting beside the the pool edge. I ran my eyes over all of them, sizing them each up. I knew how Anji acted around all the girls he tried to "woo." he acted like a hard ass, flexed his muscles a lot, and used the words "baby" and "girl" almost religiously. So for me, this was going to be hilarious.

"Okay," I nodded, then pointed. "What about her?"

"Which one?" Anji sat up, his face taking on a more serious expression.

"The sheep over there," I said. "The girl with the long white hair. Next to the husky."

"The short one?" Anji asked.

"If you want to call her that, then yeah. The short one," I replied.

"Okay then," Anji said. "What are the stakes?"

"You go over there," I said. "And you get her number. And you have to talk to her and keep her interested for three minutes. You do that, come back here with seven digits, and I'll give you..." I thought of a number, closing one eye. "Fifteen bucks."

"Fifteen?" Anji raised his eyebrows. But then the wolf smiled, and stood up. "You got it buddy." He held out his paw, I hit my paw against his, and we locked fingers. Then Anji stepped away, and walked for the group of girls that were by the pool.

"Mmmmm...." I let out moan, and pushed my arms up, stretching.

"Yo, were gonna get outta here," Cale said.

"You sure dude?" I asked him. "The funs about to start."

"Ha," Cale smiled, standing up. "Nah, I'm good. Rani said she had laundry to do, and I need to work on a paper anyways."

"Alright," I nodded. "Catch you guys later."

"Later," Cale said. His girlfriend and Sammy told each other bye, and the couple left. They went around the bleachers, then left the pool area through the set of double doors.

"Mmmm..." Sammy squeezed my shoulders, but then stood up. She put her arms over her head and stretched. I leaned back, putting my paws on her ankles, and kissed the top of her foot. She looked down at me, smiling, but then stepped over me.

"What, you to?" I asked. Sammy turned around, but smiled at me.

"I have a paper to write to man," she told me. "I'll hit you up later though."

"Oh...." I paused, but then leaned back in the bleachers, as if I didn't care. "Yeah, cool," I said. Sammy smiled at me, picking up her bag from the bleachers, then waved at me as she turned to leave. I nodded to her, doing my best not to act put out.

But to be perfectly honest, I was way put out. In all honesty, the only reason I had sent Anji on that dare was because I was fairly certain that no one on the swim team would talk to him. I don't know why though. I'll let you know now, Anji is a good looking guy. He's tall, has dark grey fur and steady blue eyes. He's got short black hair that combs to the right, and works out three times a day seven days a week. He grew up an Lower Manhattan, New York, but moved all the way to California when he turned seventeen. Now he's nineteen, the same age as me, and pretty much Mr. Ass Getter.

Me? I'm no where near as good as Anji. My name is Thomas Ororro, and I'm a opossum and otter mix. My dad was a opossum and my mom was an otter, and I carried over half of each my parents genes. I've got my moms otter legs and arms, and my dads lean body and face. I've got the dark eyes though from my dad, and her hair. My hairs short and silvery, like my fur. Anji's tail is long and plush like his fur, where as my tail is thin. But I'm a opossum mixed with an otter, and I can swim like nobody's fucking business. I'm not a part of the swim team though. I was never big on the clubs or sports teams in high school either, preferring to stick with my friends.

Sammy and I, by the way, are just friends. I kissed her foot a minute ago sure, but she's not really into me. I know, because I've tried to get with her before, and it didn't work. I know, that's sad right? I don't mind though. Sammy had a good attitude about it, and she told me straight up she wanted to be friends. So I tucked my tail in between my legs, and said "Okay."

I looked back to where Anji was, pulling myself out of past romances. There was going to be plenty of time for that later. Right now though, I wanted to see if Anji would embarrass himself again. Right now, that fifteen bucks looked like it would be mine.

Anji was over by the swim team, leaning against the diving board. He had one arm up and the other arm tucked into his jeans pocket, acting as casual as could be. I could see his mouth moving, but couldn't hear what he was saying. But, most of the swim team was looking at him, so that meant he was saying something that was interesting. The girl I had put him in charge of "wooing" was also looking at Anji, and even from here I could see the pink tint in her cheeks.

I yawned, continuing to watch my friend. Anji shrugged, then pulled his left arm back, like he was stretching, then he rolled his arm up, flexing his muscle. I saw the sheep's face turn even pinker, and heard one of the other girl's giggle. I sighed and leaned my head back, closing my eyes. I had a history paper due in a week, and hadn't started on it yet. I knew I needed to start on it soon though, or else I'd never get it done. I started to run scenarios through my head, thinking of how I could make Greek housing interesting to my professor.

I had one idea down already, and was starting to think of another one when I heard a high, loud whistle. I sat up, wondering where the noise and come from. Then I saw Anji, waving his paw. He had a somewhat gleeful expression on his face, but at the same time he looked a bit put out. I groaned, but sat up in the bleachers. I got out of my seat, tucking my paws into my pockets, and walked over to Anji.

"Yo!" he called out, tossing up a paw. "Where's my fifteen bro?"

"Oh," I raised an eyebrow, "So you got her number?"

"Course I did..." Anji smirked, and held up a piece of paper. I looked at the paper, leaning closer to it. On the paper were seven numbers. I looked at the numbers, muttering them under my breath, then clicked my tongue. But I pulled back, and pulled my wallet out of my pocket.

"Ha ha," Anji grinned, rubbing his paws together. "Yeah dude!"

"Just don't go blow it all at once" I told him as I pulled out three five dollar bills. I counted the money, then slapped it into Anji palm.

"Ah, thank you kind sir!" he snapped the money away, and stuck it in his front jeans pocket.

"Yeah, whatever man," I turned around, stuffing my wallet back in my pocket.

"Aw, come on," Anji called to my back. "Don't act so put out!"

"Who's acting put out," I turned around tossing up my paws. "You won the bet, good job, congrats."

"Dude!" Anji called out again, but I turned around, stuffing my paws into my jeans. I went back to the bleachers and picked up my bag, then walked for the doors of the pool area. I wasn't acting put out, I was just jealous of Anji. Obviously I wasn't going to tell him though.

I left the pool area, coming into a hallway doted with other college students. I hitched my bag over my shoulder, my other paw in my pocket, and walked down the short hall. I headed for the door, thinking about the time. I checked the clock on my phone and, seeing it was almost 3:00, I decided I would go back to my dorm and crash. I was taking two day classes and one night class, but today had been a morning class day for me. My night class was tomorrow, which meant I'd have the whole day to kill.

I got outside and felt the hot, burning California sun drag across me body immediately, and was suddenly annoyed that it wasn't winter anymore. The opossum side of me likes the cold, but the otter side of me likes the warmer seasons, so sometimes I have a hard time making up my mind. The sun would go down in a couple of hours though, but I was still going to head back to my dorm and crash for the night.
