He opened his eyes weakly and looked around in disgust. So this is where he had been born huh? The room was bare, and the floor was stone. He looked at the walls. Disgusting, they were stone as well.

"...?" He tried to speak but he couldn't, something was clamped around his neck. What was it? He went to go reach for it but he heard chains binding his body.

"..!!" He gasped through his nose, something was holding him. He was being held captive, and he knew it. He looked around now, looking for anything to help. He looked down on where he lay, it was a bed. His legs were chained to the rails on the bottom. He blinked and tried to moved his arms and looked at them. They were being held tight chains as well.

"Hahaha, so our mighty prince has finally woke up, has he?" He heard a deep voice cackling from the corner of the room.

"...?" The voice cackled again at his captives unable to speak.

"Tsu..Tsu..Tsu..hehe." He laughed and walked up to the bed. Tsu's eyes got wide. He shook his head, he didn't want to believe it. He looked dead into the eyes of what looked like Adalaire. He blinked and shook his head, it couldn't be true...could it?

"Rrr...." Tsu growled now, feeling betrayed. He glared at Adalaire, tears in his eyes. Why..Why had Adalaire done this?

"Hehe, yes Tsu. It's me, Adalaire." He cackled softly and gripped the fox's neck, where the odd feeling was that kept him from speaking. He clamped his claw around Tsu's neck, cutting his air supply down to nearly nothing. The fox began to gasp for air now, squirming against his restraints, all the while his eyes glared up at the dragon, full of hate and hurt. Adalaire cackled again and clamped his claws around Tsu's neck further, cutting off his air supply even more.

"Yessss...Struggle my prince, it gives me such pleasure to see you full of fight right before you die." He laughed out louder. Tsu blinked at that and then he stopped moving, he wasn't going to give this guy the pleasure of seeing him fiesty. He simply held his breath now, his lungs burning from the need for air and his heartbeat thumping through his ears as the lack of oxygen in his body started to fall.

"Aww, you give up already, my prince?" Adalaire grinned, his eyes flashing. Tsu merely looked up at him, and to the dragon's surprise, he smiled.

"Don't play with me!" He growled loudly and backhanded Tsu across the face, causing the fox to slam his head to the right, blood seeping into his mouth. He growled now, no one hit him and lived in the past. He glared up at the dragon again and grined darkly. Adalaire blinked and if his scales hadn't been white already, he would have been pale. He quickly let go of the foxes neck, allowing Tsu to breath again and backed up a few steps. "Y..Your not the prince." He said and his visage began to waver.

"And...your..a...a...t-traitor.." Tsu managed to say through his restraints. But he soon regretted his words as 'Adalaire' roared out and burst into flame and came flying at him. He yelped as best he could and struggled to get away, but couldn't! His restraints were holding him fast and he whimpered as he watched the flying ball of fire coming at him.

"Oh god, someone help, please!" He cried out loudly in his mind. The ball of fire leapt into the air and Tsu took a deep breath. It was going to end like this and he would never see Sabin again. He now began to cry softly, not hearing the roar that had ripped through the room and sent the ball of fire crashing into a nearby wall.

"S..Sabin..I'm so..sorry.." He wept quietly, waiting for his death.

"Hey..Don't think like that." He heard a familiar voice say. He opened his eyes and looked at...Adalaire? He blinked, confused now. He didn't look like he had a moment ago, no fire and no evil scowl on his face.

"W..What do you want..? H-haven't you had enough fun with me already......." He growled and wept at the same time. Adalaire got a hurt look on his face.

"W-What are you talking about, Tsu?" He asked softly, kneeling down next to the bed and taking off whatever was around the Foxes neck, and Tsu could no longer feel a pressure there. He looked at Adalaire, confused now.

"What..No..What are YOU talking about, Adalaire?" He managed to say, his feelings slipping into his words and sounding harsh. Adalaire winced a little and shook his head.

"It's nothing, Tsu." He said. And immediately the fox knew what had happend.

"Oh Adalaire..I-I'm so s-sorry.." He teared up again, not wanting to hurt his friend. Adalaire didn't look at him, obviously hurt and he began to undo the shackles that bound the fox.

"Dopplegangers are foul creatures, Tsu..I'm surprised you believed him." He said quietly. Tsu looked down and closed his eyes, and curled up in the bed, more weak than sad right now.

"I-I'm sorry A-Adalaire.." He said weakly. The dragon blinked at the small voice the fox had and became worried.

"When was the last time you drank? ...or for that matter, how long have you been here?" He said, picking up Tsu and cradling the fox in his arms.

"I...I don't know either..." He said even quieter. The dragon's worried became deep concern.

"....Drink from me." He ordered, reaching up a wrist and slashing it ruggedly with a fang, growling at the pain it brought, not phsycally, but mentally. Mortal's, and even immortals, were not allowed to drink from gods. Such a thing could either get both parties killed, or turn the god into a mortal.

"A..da..laire..?" He said, his body going limp slowly, his voice failing and his eyes starting to lose their shine. Adalaire began to growl in despair, lapsing into a sad moan. He pressed his bleeding wrist against the foxes muzzle, letting his thick, violet blood soak Tsu's muzzle, hoping it was seeping down his throat as well. Tsu's body went completely limp now and his eyes lost their shine.

"Ada...l..laire.." he whispered with his last breath. Adalaire's eyes began to drip tears, something a god had never done before. He held the dead fox close now and wept, his tears rolling down his cheeks and soaking Tsu's fur, which was cooling pretty quickly.

"T-Tsu, come on..come back..please? W-We need you.." He whimpered loudly as he wept. His bleeding wrist didn't stop, his blood slowly draining from the deep wound. His vision began to fade now and he held onto Tsu, and he slowly began to fall back, the world seeming to slow down as he did. His back hit the bed and a shockwave seemed to pulse out from both his and Tsu's body as Adalaires life ended as well.

Adalaire growled as he felt hot now, hating heat. He opened his eyes and then blinked.

"N..No.." He said, fear entering his voice. He looked down and didn't see Tsu. He teared up at remember what had happened and he hugged himself, weeping quietly. He sat on the floor of a finely decorated hall, with white walls and gold trimmings, furs running about as if they were maids. Their wings flitted as they moved. He was in heaven..But he felt so alone.

"Adalaire Zchofsi Eriola, get up." He heard a deep and powerful voice command. He shivered, knowing exactly who it was. He wiped his eyes and slowly got up, looking down the hall at the figure that had commanded him.

"......" He didn't say anything, only walked slowly to the figure as it beckoned to him. As he approached, the visage became more clear, and with each step he felt hate entering his heart.

"Why didn't Tsu come here!?" He suddenly roared at the figure.

"....Calm down boy." The figure commanded and held out a paw. Adalaire didn't take it, he just glared at the figure.

"I will not calm down, No. Not anymore, I want Tsu either here or to live again." He commanded this time, smoke seeping from his snarling lips. The figure winced a little, never seeing his pet act so fiercely.

"...It's not tha--" The figure began to say, before he was grabbed and pressed against a wall.

"It's not a yes or no or maybe question. It's an either/or and if you do not comply I will bring hell upon all of your angels." He growled deeply, small tendrils of flame leaking out of his maw here and there. The figure seemed to shiver, obviously scared now.

"...You've grown, my pet." the figure said suddenly and reached a paw forward, stroking the dragon's cheek which was now streaming with tears again. He sighed and looked down, his lion features slightly contorted in surprise and worry.

"I don't care anymore, Master Lane. I want Tsu here or else." He growled, his energy building up slowly.

"...Go back to earth. Go back to where you were before you foolishly tried to kill yourself trying to save him." He said, looking at the dragon in admiration now.

"How!?" Adalaire roared, shaking the very walls of heaven. Lane flinched hard that time.

"Do as I say, boy!!" He roared back, not even phasing Adalaire.

"Do as I say, do what you were doing, don't take so long to do it. There will be consequences but I will hold them until much later. We need him, I see it now." He said and snapped his fingers, everything melting. Adalaire blinked, hearing the sound of a clock. His master was no longer in his grasp and he was no longer in heaven. He caught his breath in his chest.

"No.." He thought. His master had used a forbidden spell!

"...Thank you Master Lane." He whispered, closing his eyes. A second later he heard Tsu's voice.

"Ad..a..laire..?" The fox whispered, back in that point of time. Adalaire didn't hesitate as he felt everything materalize like it had been and he bit at his wrist, growling at the pain again and slammed it to Tsu's mouth.

"Do not resist me, just drink, right now." He ordered. Tsu blinked a little and did as he was commanded, and began to suckle at the wound. The taste of the dragon's blood was sweet, and it reminded the fox of when he was little and his mother made blueberry sweets. He blinked and suddenly reached up, takign hold of the wrist and sucking on it harder, his thirst great now. Adalaire bit his lip at the pain but let the fox do as he wanted, glad he was immortal still.

"Drink until your..a-ah..satisfied." He said softly, rubbing Tsu's ears and cooing to him calmingly, wincing a little here and there. The fox drank for what seemed like hours, even though it was only a few minutes. He finally pulled away from Adalaire's wrist and panted, his muzzle a violet color from the blood now. Adalaire watched him, his eyes following the little trails of blood that were slipping along the fox's chin, neck and chest now. Tsu suddenly gasped out and began to writhe in pain and he cried out, clawing at his chest and stomach in pain. Adalaire blinked and held him tight, knowing what the fox was going through.

"Shhh..sh...It's okay Tsu..It'll pass.." He said soothingly, setting the fox down and taking hold of his arms and pinning him against the bed. Tsu continued to writhe though, and began to cry in pain, his claws clenching and unclenching. He started to kick his legs a little, wanting to curl up even though Adalaire wouldn't let him. The dragon felt Tsu's body temperature suddenly sky rocket and closed his eyes. It was happening. He either let it pass or the fox would die, and wouldn't be able to be brought back again.

"Tsu..Calm down, let it pass.." He said softly and climbed on top of the fox to keep his body still, holding Tsu's arms at his sides, while locking his legs with his own. Tsu thrashed his head back and forth, screaming now. Adalaire had no choice now, he had to make the fox stop thrashing and fight. He leaned down and pressed his lips against Tsu's, which immediately made the fox stop moving. Adalaire blushed, his first time kissing a mortal but he knew he couldn't act on it and he just kissed him, trying not to think of anything else except keeping the other still. Tsu squirmed slightly, blushing and still in pain but it started to get less and less painful, the burning inside of his body slowly cooling down. He then moaned softly, feeling a cool sort of breeze shift through him and he relaxed now, and kissed Adalaire back. This caused the dragon to blink and blush harder and he broke the kiss and backed off, knowing Tsu wanted to do more.

"H-How..do you feel, Tsu?" He asked in a low voice. The fox only looked at him now, his eye going from gray, back to it's original cerulean color. His fur, however, stayed the same.

"I..Feel good." The fox replied, blinking. He then looked around and remembered where he was. he suddenly pulled the dragon back down and hugged him tight, starting to cry.

"Thank you so much Adalaire!!!" He howled out, as the dragon wrapped his scaly arms around him.

"Your welcome, Tsu." He said softly, letting the fox weep on his shoulder now. He sat back up and pulled the fox with him, setting him in his lap.

"...I'm not going to be here forever now though.." He said, feeling a little weird, knowing what was going to happen.

"What are you talking about?" Tsu suddenly said, looking into Adalaire's eyes.

"You see...I offered my blood to you. And when a god does that to another being that isn't a god themselves..The first god either dies, or becomes mortal over time." He explained, looking back into Tsu's eyes.

"No.." Tsu suddenly said, in a different voice. Adalaire blinked, knowing that voice.

"Master..?" He said quietly.

"Yes. We aren't going to take your powers. Yet...Nor are we going to kill you. Just keep in mind, either your or I are going to suffer because of this." Lane/Tsu said, a look of concern crossing the foxes face.

"But master..your..?" He said, confused.

"Yes, I might be the highest ruler, but even so I still have to follow the rules." He said, sighing through Tsu's mouth.

"Fear not though, I'm sure it'll go in your favour and you might not even get prosecuted." Tsu's face smiled now. The fox shook his head suddenly and blinked.

"Well Adalaire, are you going to tell me or not?" He asked softly, thinking nothing had happened just now.

"No..Forgive me, I wasn't thinking haha." Adalaire chuckled softly and stood up.

"Shall we be going now? We need to getyou out of here before Sabin get's too far." He said softly. Tsu nodded and stood up as well, completely naked but not caring. He was going to escape with Adalaire's help and he was going to see Sabin again.

"Sabin." He smiled, keeping that wolf in his heart and in his mind.
