#16 of Evens and Dante's Adventure in Unova

I know that it has been a while since my last one but I thank everyone who waited, and now onto the story.

Where it all went wrong

Evans looked down at himself; he was on his back in an unknown area bleeding out. While his hearing was going silent he could still make out what seemed like a battle. A figure stood over him; he couldn't really make it out to well. The figure bent down and grabbed Evans and began dragging him somewhere. He tried to speak but all that came out was blood that he was coughing up. Everything was going dark when Evans was thinking back onto how he ended up in his current situation.

Earlier that day

Evans and Dante were packing everything for the last trek through the sand storm. Golurk was going to act as their guide again, Dante had tied up Rilou with some rope that they had. Evans had placed the injured Eevee in his sweater to shield it from the sand storm. With everything set they set out for Nimbasa City.

Walking through a sand storm was probably the most difficult Evans ever did. The only upside was that Golurk was leading them so it was safe to assume that they would not get lost. Everyone was tied together by a length of rope to ensure that no one wondered off. The walk took a few hours; Golurk was the first to announce their arrival. "Master I can see the City gates building," when everyone entered the gate building they sat down in the chairs by the doors. The receptionist gave every one a water bottle, "we don't get many people walking through the dessert, they usually take the highway to avoid the storms." After a few minutes of rest Evans and Dante went through the remaining doors separating them from the city.

Evans had only seen Los Vegas in movies and TV shows, and Nimbasa city looked almost exactly like that except for a few adult neon signs missing. Finding the Pokémon center was not difficult, upon entering Evans took out Eevee and placed the Pokémon on the counter. Nurse joy who was not paying attention did not notice Evans or Dante approach the counter until Dante rang the bell. When Nurse Joy turned around and saw the Eevee she immediately shrieked, "Oh my god Eevee!" Nurse Joy slammed a big red button behind the counter and the sign behind her switched from wait times for other trainers to Emergency in big red flashing letters. A team of audino rushed into the lobby and carefully took the Eevee and wheeled it away to an emergency room. Nurse joy turned to Evans and Dante, "where did you find her?" nurse joy was on the verge of tears. Dante answered her in a calm voice, "when we were traveling through the sandstorm she wondered by us, when we tried to help two guys came out demanding her back. Seeing how they looked and what they were doing to get the Eevee back we figured that it was taken so we weren't going to let it go. We managed to drive them off and give the Eevee some field medical attention." Nurse Joy crying at this point went around the counter and hugged both Evans and Dante, profusely thanking them for their help. Another audino came with a trey to collect their Pokéballs.

They were each given a room and told that their Pokémon would be sent up to them when the checkup was done. Evans fell asleep; everything was dark around him "so I take it that I see Giratina again?" Evans tried to turn around when he heard an ear shattering roar, covering his head he looked around to see what was roaring. He could feel solid ground underneath him when the roaring stopped, taking a few steps with his ears still ringing he tried to examine the area he was in. The area in front of him lit up a small amount; he could see a Zoroark, and Dewott crying he tried to ask what was wrong but no words came out. When he got closer he could see someone lying in front of them. Worried about the current situation Evans backed away a little and a pair of red eyes appeared, "not yet." Evans awoke from the dream, sitting up Evans pondered on what he just saw. He was in his room alone, he was covered in sweat but his body was cold. He took a shower and tried to ignore the dream he just had. He heard a knock on the door. Evans opened up to see a decked out Dante, "there should be a suit in your closet, put it on we are hitting the casino."

Both Dante and Evans were wearing classy suits as they walked into one of the many casinos that were located in the city. Dante strutted around like he had been there many times before. Evans looked almost like a scared little kid, "not that I wouldn't mind hitting the tables but what are we doing here?" Dante sat down in the restaurant area, "Goth-lee sensed that Ramon was here so we are checking it out." Dante reached behind him and pulled out three Pokéballs, "these are yours, we might need them soon." Dante was sitting facing the staff entrance; he scanned around for anything that seemed out of place. Some time had passed since they sat down to watch the door; Evans was eating the house special when Dante sat up trying to get a better view. A man dressed in an overly expensive suit walked up to the staff entrance, the guard looked him over and let him pass. Dante nudged Evans to get up while he hurried toward the door, reaching the guard Dante spoke, "have you had any trouble yet?" A female voice came from the guard, "no but it is getting more difficult to just grunt and let people pass." Zoroark was disguised as a guard to give Dante and Evans a way inside. When they passed through the doors Evans came to a realization, "won't the cameras see us if we start walking around in this area?" Dante shock his head, "if Zoroark can make us invisible for a little bit then no." Zoroark nodded and they continued on.

Dante pulled out a digital map of the area, "if this map is right then at the end of this hall should be a door to a maintenance closet." Walking around the corner they saw a big metal security door. Approaching the door Dante looked at the map again, "yup this is what I was hoping for." Evans looked confused, "you were hoping for a big security door?" Dante nodded, "these plans that I have are from the server which details everything exactly, now why do you think they might need this big of a door if it just hold cleaning supplies?" Evans shrugged while Dante took out a key card, "how did you get that?" Dante swiped the card through the reader and the door opened, "took it off a guard getting a lap dance." As they entered the elevator Evans had a panicked thought, "won't the security cameras be more sophisticated here and might pick us up!?" Dante shook his head, "right now there is a huge riot that is keeping the security busy, cost me 25 grand but it was worth it for this window." Sure enough on the floor 6 guys were running around pushing people and throwing random punches, anything to cause as much chaos as possible. When the elevator stopped Dante pushed Evans against the side of the elevator and called out Goth-li, "knock 'em out fast we don't have much time." As the doors opened Goth-li was a blur as she traversed the room to the unsuspecting guard and quickly delivered two knock out blows. Goth-li gives the all clear and Dante and Evans rush to the guards, "grab the stun guns, batons, and keys." While picking through their belongings Evans turned the guard over and saw something that he would not have expect to see, "Dante why is this one carrying a gun?" Dante was silent as he took the gun from the guard he was searching, "Ramon must still have his and they copied the design and begun mass production." And wave of dread washed over them both, "if they start carrying guns, what does that mean for everyone else?" Dante sat there deep in thought, "if I can figure this right then they must have only a few produced as a trail run before they get the factories going on them." Evans held the gun in his hand, having never really interacted with one ever it was a peculiar feeling examining the weight and feel of the gun. Evans knew the basics of how it worked, air softing and movies gave a rundown of most of the components. Evans held the gun flat in one hand and pointed at various parts with the other while asking Dante, "pull the hammer back to cock the gun, trigger to fire, this is the magazine release button right?" Dante nods his head, "yeah all right, you don't have much experience handling guns do you?" Evans shook his head, "just the basics and that's it." Dante stands up, "well hopefully you won't have to use that." Dante, Evans, Goth-li, and Zoroark face another security door; Evans laughs a bit, "These guys sure love their security doors." With one swipe of the new card the door opens to reveal a long corridor. As they walk lights slowly start to turn on to reveal the walls were made of glass and revealed a horrifying sight, "is...that...Zapdos....and ...Magnezone....and....Electivire?" There were multiple non-legendary Pokémon suspended in liquid with various tubes connected to the Pokémon, and the connected machines seemed to pulse and hum in intervals. Dante put his hand on the glass, "that is how they power the entire facility, by draining electric Pokémon of everything they have that way the city doesn't catch wind of this place." Both look away in disgust, not wanting to see any more they continue on. The legendary bird suspended in a more secure tank sees the two and pleas weakly, "release them." Dante stops to look at the horrified state the bird is in, "Dante we have to help them somehow." Dante continued walking, "there has to be a control panel further in, when we get to it we'll release everyone." Reaching the end of the corridor Dante slowly opens the door. Not seeing anyone he opens the door more for them to pass through. The room they entered was big like a grand ball room; it had various panels, and computers strewn about the room. There were people sitting at the desks and others checking the gauges on the panels. Seeing another hallway the group slowly creeps to the door and slips past unnoticed. The new hallway has various rooms with names above the door, two signs stand out the most, the control room and executive chambers. Evans looks at the control room, "I'll take the control room and see if I can't release the Pokémon and cause some chaos." Dante nodded, "I'll see if Ramon I'll kill him and free Zoroark." Evans added, "Aim for the bead in her hair that might break her from his control." Both fist bump and head toward the separate doors.

Dante

Dante stood in front of the executive door with the gun drawn and Goth-li at his side. The room was very large despite all the furniture it had. Dante could see a large mahogany desk and both of the side walls lined with books, in the middle of the room is a large conference table and several chairs. The chair behind the desk was turned around so Dante could not see if anyone else was in the room until the chair turned around and an elderly gentleman was scene sitting down. Dante raised the gun and pulled the hammer back aiming at the gentleman. The gentleman spoke, "my, my, it seems that security has become lax in the amount of time we have spent here in this location. My name is Ashton Blackwood; I am the leader of Nightfall. You must be Dante, Ramon has..." Dante shot the spot next to his head, "I couldn't give two shits about you, what pisses me off is that if you're here Ramon must be in the other room." Unfazed Ashton put his hand in the finger pyramid of evil contemplation, he chuckled, "that gun you have is your own if I'm not mistaken, the ones we have developed are a more crude since we do not know the exact type of metals used in its manufacturing." He slowly opens a drawer and pulls out a crude imitation of a gun, "the ones we have can only fire four or five rounds before malfunctioning." Dante finally understood where Ashton was going with his speech, "I believe we did a fine job at reproducing the bullets, and if I recall correctly Ramon still has the gun he came here with him." Dante looked to Goth-li mentally asking, 'is Evans ok?' She nodded, Ashton stood up and a Dusknoir phased through the wall behind him. Everything was still until several guns shots were heard a few rooms down, Dante quickly turned his head to the door to see three team nightfall members step through the door with their Pokémon. Dante called out the remaining of his three Pokémon, there was no way to go without some kind of fight. The three members had a Cofagrigus, a Chandelure, and a Mismagius all ghost types. All of Dante's Pokémon looked at him with one single thought, 'this will be the hardest battle we've ever had.' It was not a battle that they could lose. Dante quickly shouted orders, "Fraxure use dragon claw! Luxray use thunder fang! Goth-li use shadow ball!" Dante had to trust that Fraxure and Luxray could hold off the three Pokémon while Goth-li fought Dusknoir. Dante hopped onto the table as the battle erupted and ran at Ashton, Ashton raised the gun he had and fired twice. The first bullet sliced past Dante's cheek, the second found a home in Dante's upper pelvis area on the left side. Stumbling Dante continued to run as Aston fired off two more shots before his gun jammed and shattered in his hand sending shards of hot metal into his flesh, the two shots hit Dante in the right shoulder and the lower left area of his chest. The last bullet missed his heart by half a centimeter; Ashton was holding his hand in pain unaware that Dante had survived the last two bullets. Dante jumped off the table at Ashton just in time to miss it shattering from the battle between Goth-li and Dusknoir as she had to rely on shadow ball as the only way to hit Dusknoir. Fraxure and Luxray were having an equally difficult time dealing with three ghost type. Dante tackled Ashton to the ground and tumbled a few feet from him, with his back roughly hitting the back wall Dante was in an immense amount of pain. Slowly he raised his gun that he refused to let go of and aimed at Ashton, Ashton was concussed and confusingly tried to get up not noticing Dante some ten feet from him. The battle Fraxure and Luxray were in was becoming one-sided in favor of the three ghost types, they knew how to work in a team and had made a point not to let Fraxure and Luxray near each other to make defeating them easier. When Ashton put a hand on his desk to get up Dante shot his knee making Ashton throw his head back in pain; Dante put another bullet through his head killing the leader. The room grew silent as Dante let his hand drop, Dusknoir immediately rushed over and picked up his master. Dusknoir's belly opened up like a mouth as it put Ashton in, it then closed and Dusknoir phased through the floor disappearing. Goth-li was at Dante's side slowly trying to pick him up; the other two Pokémon had taken a defensive position in front to block any incoming attacks. The three trainers stood in a state of shock before they were pushing each other aside trying to leave the room. As Goth-li was tenderly trying to inspect Dante they here load crashes in the next room, covering Dante Goth-li watched the wall explode as Gigalith came crashing through with Golurk grabbing him. Gigalith hit the side wall and fell hard, Golurk loomed above him before he smashed him with a mega punch before turning back to the hole he made. Dante turn and saw a horrifying sight, Evans was lying in a pool of blood with Ramon standing over him with his gun pointed at his chest.

Evans earlier

Standing in front of the control room door Evans took a deep breath and walked in. The inside was somewhat large as the back wall was filled with screens showing various parts of the building and hallways. Standing by the supposed control panel was Ramon with Bisharp, Gigalith, and Zoroark. He stood there smirking as Evans called out his Pokémon, his Zoroark stood next to him shaking slightly. Ramon grabbed his Zoroark by the throat, "when I first came here everything was so interesting as the people were so trusting. Take this animal for example, with no fear she approached me and offered aid. A talking animal would provide quite a bit of money if I sold it to the proper person, but as we walked to town it seemed that everyone had some kind of contact with these different creatures. So my plan to make a profit had to be altered as it seems that this one was not really worth all that much. But then I came into contact with Ashton who is the leader of this organization, he was interesting as he seemed to have unlimited funds. He then told me how this world worked and how I could tame the creatures here." He let Zoroark go and forced her on her knees, "the look on this one's face when see realized exactly what was going to happen was priceless as she tried to hide her child from me. I took no interest as I could simply breed this one to make more and sell the offspring. The most interesting thing was when I learned that they have reproductive organs similar to ours. Controlling the body is one thing but the mind is another, I had to ensure that this thing would stay loyal to me so I raped it under the pretense that if it did not comply I would find the offspring and vent my sexual frustration on it and be as brutal as possible." Evans Zoroark was in tears as she heard Ramon explain how he had trapped her mother. Evans gripped the gun he had and asked, "Then why do you need that bead attached to her hair?" Ramon looked at it and smirked, "it had been some time since I had begun my domination of this thing, and it had assumed that enough time had passed for its offspring to evade my so it can make its escape. I can't have my possessions running off on me so the scientists here were working on a kind of mental reprogramming to remove any kind of freewill and self-preservation to bring out the creatures full potential. I took the opportunity to test it out, he the machine failed it would have fried its brain and killed it." Evans raised the gun and aimed at Ramon, "can you shut the fuck up, before I kill you!" Ramon smiled as a gunshot was heard a few rooms down, Evans was distracted long enough for Ramon to pull out his gun and aim it at Evans. Smiling evilly he pulled the hammer back, "do you the mental fortitude required to actually kill someone, I can believe if were to break some bones and beat me severely. But I highly doubt that you could actually kill me." Zoroark gritted her teeth, "I'll kill the bastard." Ramon laughed, "These next few moments are going to be the nest that I have ever experienced, Zoroark kill your daughter and bring me her severed head." Both Zoroarks were a flurry of claws and fangs. Golurk charged at Ramon only to be stopped by Gigalith, Dewott fought with Bisharp as Ramon shot at Evans several times. Rolling out of the way Evans shot at Ramon twice missing both times, Ramon having more experience shot four times and three bullets hit Evans in non-vital areas. The wounds stung then burned as Evans began to feel the pain, Evans took one shot at hit Ramon in the shoulder. Ramon shot Evans two more times hitting him in the chest, Evans lungs began to fill with blood as Ramon calmly walked toward him. Evans vision began to blur as Ramon drew closer, Evans began to weight his options, 'on one hand I could probably get Ramon from this close but Zoroark is not fight at full strength considering her opponent. Ha I guess I just have enough to do this one last thing.' Evans raised his gun and shot blindly in a direction away from Ramon. Ramon burst into laughter, "ha you probably could have hit me from this distance but you wasted your only chance to hit nothing." Evans weakly smiled, "I could have if I was aiming for you." Ramon furrowed his brow as he tried to make sense of Evans remark until he heard a scream. Looking toward the scream he saw Zoroark gripping her head as the bead in her hair shattered. Ramon turned back to Evans as Evans cracked a smile, "I figured that if the bead was still in her hair then it has to stay there in order to still work, get rid of the bead get rid of the mind control." Ramon's face contorted into pure rage as he shot Evans in the knee caps sending him on his back, standing over him Ramon stomped on Evans chest wound, "congratulations you have earned my complete dedication to ensure that you remaining moments are filled with pain!" Ramon unloaded the rest of his clip in the chest of Evans. Golurk saw Evans get shot and tried to tackle Ramon but Gigalith got in the way and steered him away from them making them both crash into the side wall.

Dante was sitting there as Ramon kicked Evans in the chest laughing; he tried to raise his gun but was too weak to do so. Evans Zoroark was holding her mother trying to comfort her before she noticed Ramon on top of Evans kicking him. Bisharp had Dewott on the ropes when he noticed Zoroark charging at Ramon, backhanding Dewott away Bisharp intercepted Zoroark. Goth-li flew through the hole in the wall and kicked Ramon in the side of the head; his position and the force of the kick sent him toward the door leading to the hallway. He crashed into it forcing it open, Bisharp leaped and took a defensive stance in front of Ramon. Golurk helped Dante into the room as they saw him slowly get up, Ramon had the look of pure fury, "I'll be sure to kill you next time Dante, at least I got one of you." With that he left with Bisharp, Zoroark went to give chase but Dante stopped her, "check Evans, Golurk can you smash that control panel?" Goth-li held Dante as Golurk hit the panel once shattering it to pieces sending every room into darkness before the backup generator kicked on. Zoroark was kneeing in the pool of blood by Evans as she held his head crying, "He's not breathing!" Zoroark gave Dante a frantic look, "help him, please!" Dante shuffled to Evans side as Fraxure and Luxray limped through the hole in the wall. Dante took out their Pokéballs, "return." He then looked at Golurk, "can you clear a path to the elevator, if we can get him to the casino floor we can get help faster." Just as Dante said that flashing red lights and a siren went off with an automated voice saying, "please evacuate, the facility will systematically self-destruct in two minutes." Golurk charged through the wall creating another hole leading into the hallway. Zoroark sat there holding Evans head in a daze until Dante lightly shoved her, "can you go with him, and your speed could help moving things along faster." Zoroark gave him a look that stated her desire to stay by Evans side, Goth-li put a hand on her shoulder, "he's not dead, but if we don't have a clear shot to the elevator we all will be." Zoroark nodded before looking at her unconscious mother, Goth-li reassured her, "she will come with us but you need to move now." Zoroark wiped away her tears as she went with Golurk to make a path to the elevator. Dante starred at Evans with a bleak expression before speaking to Goth-li, "you and I both know he's dead, why did you lie?" Goth-li stood and collected Zoroark's mother's body, "if I didn't she would still be here, refusing to leave making escape all the more difficult, I can't believe that bastard Ramon would set off the self-destruct on this place." Dante shakingly stood and grabbed hold of the Evans coat collar. Dante dragged Evans through the halls as Goth-li led the way. Dante had a nagging feeling that despite what he knew he believed that Evans was still alive if only barely.

Evans was stuck in between life and death as he saw his body being dragged but could do nothing to signal Dante. It was a terrifying feeling as he could feel nothing but cold, but was completely aware of everything around him. On rare occasions would he dream of dying, it was nothing like this but he could see what killed him then would have an out of body experience as his dream would progress. It finally had hit him like a train, "I am dead in a place I do not know, my grandma doesn't even know I'm here." That single thought broke him down as he began to cry, at that moment death was not scary it was dying in a place that his grandma could not go and be there for at least a goodbye. As he sat there watching Dante struggle to drag his body to safety a man in a formal business suit approached him from behind, "you seem to have made a friend during your stay." Evans looked up at him feeling some familiarity in his voice, the man was tall wore a gold striped suit, and wore red aviator sunglasses. He offered Evans a hand up, "when I brought you here it was on a whim as were the others, no real special meaning just something I did to pass the time." Evans had the most confused look, "you brought me here, took me away from my family on a whim?" the man smirked, "it was either that or let you die in your world. That is the only way that I can take you, you have to be on the brink of death which puts you extremely close to my realm." Evans took a step back and took a really long look at the man, "Giratina?" Giratina removed his sunglasses, "in human form of course, it is the easiest way to have a conversation with humans." Evans stood there dumbfounded; Giratina took a few steps forward before waving his hand in front of himself. The scene changed from the underground facility to his grandmother kitchen, she was there cooking something unaware that he was watching her. Giratina glanced at Evans, "you were unhappy because you did not get to say goodbye to her before you were taken correct?" Evans weakly nodded, Giratina stepped aside, "you are one of the only few that still have family waiting for them, I may be the ruler of the reverse world but I still have a heart. You can step through this portal and give a final goodbye." Evans walked through the portal and was in his grandma's house, he could smell the food she was cooking it really was the same kitchen where he would have meals with her. She turned around and saw him, "oh Evans don't scare me like that, come help me set the table." A few stray tears fell as he smiled, "sure." As he set the table he would glance at her repeatedly smiling as he did. When the table was set up he helped with arranging the food, she always had a tendency to make a little too much. The doorbell rang, his grandma answered and Giratina walked through the door, "good afternoon ma'am, what a lovely home you have." She smiled and ushered him in, "pardon my memory but you are the recruiter for that MIT College right?" he smiled, "yes ma'am and might I say that your boy is one of the top candidates to receive a full scholarship and also qualifies for the better home program." Everyone sat at the table as Giratina continued, "The better program is something new we are trying, we look at individual students in situation similar to Evans and determine if they qualify to receive financial support at home. If he can maintain a GPA above a 3.5 his family will receive checks that cover most of what he needs be it a new computer, school books, other technical equipment, the money can even be used to help pay some of the bill in the house if need be. The only requirement if that you report what you are using the money for so we can keep records to also help with your taxes." Evans grandmother had a surprised look on her face, "all this for him just sitting in his room playing video games?" Giratina laughed, "No he actually submitted to us prototype for a new device that would help improve the mobility of seniors with back and knee problems. Of course there are still some bugs to work out but the complexity yet simplicity of the device is what caught our eye, with the proper education and funding he could really change modern living." Evans grandma beamed at Evans, "to think my grandson could help so many people." The rest of dinner went by as Giratina and Evans grandmother talked about his living arrangements. Evans grandmother went to do the dishes as Evans and Giratina talked outside. Evans gave a sigh, "thank you for this, even if it is a lie I am happy to see her happy." Giratina stood up and motioned Evans over to the porch, "stand here so we can go back." Evans stood where he was told as the scenery suddenly whizzed by stopping in the middle of fall. Evans had some bags with clothes packed and his grandmother was crying, "To think that my baby is off to college. I know you'll do great things, I love you very much." Evans gave her a big hug as they both cried, "I love you too grandma, thanks for everything." Giratina stood by a large black SUV as Evans let his grandmother go and entered the truck. As they drove off Evans took one last look at his grandmother standing on the porch, Giratina spoke, "I can arrange for her to be taken care of financially if you want?" Evans looked confused, "how?" Giratina replied, "In this world I still possess some of my powers, simply arranging for checks to be donated anonymously to her is child's play." Evans chuckled, "if it would be too much trouble." Giratina looked at the road ahead, "it's not your time yet." Evans looked confused until he felt a massive electrical shock on his chest, grabbing it he felt the shock again as his surroundings faded to black. Again he felt the jolt, this time it was accompanied by repeated intervals of chest pressure. The next shock brought and excruciating amount of pain as he suddenly came to in the middle of the street with Dante kneeing over him yelling, "You fucking bastard you can't die yet, I made a promise to not let another friend die. Live you bastard live!" Dante slapped Evans across the face as the mobility in his body was slowly returning to him. Evans noticed a large yellow object with black strips standing on his left, he could hear Dante yelling, "Electivire shock him again!" two black tails appear from behind it and place themselves on different parts of Evans chest, volts of electricity surged into his chest as he felt his heart beating again. Evans coughed stopping Electivire, Zoroark suddenly filled his vision as she was crying, "thank Arceus he's alive!" Evans breathing was shallow as pain radiated throughout his body, Dante was laughing off to the side, "man that was the most intense moment I have ever had, don't do that again you bastard." Two paramedics appeared and put Evans on a stretcher before loading him into an ambulance, Evans slowly passed out as the truck raced down the street.

Evans awoke to the sound of a slow and rhythmic beep. Opening his eyes he saw Zoroark and Dewott sitting in chairs asleep on the other side of the room. Looking down at himself he saw various wires and tubes stuck in his arms and hands, he also had a massive amount of bandages wrapped around his torso. His entire body felt warm, following one of the tubes stuck in his hand he saw a large bag of morphine connected to a drip. Evans tried to sit up only to feel an uncomfortable throbbing pain spread from his chest, Evans groaned loader then he thought he would. Zoroark and Dewott were awake in seconds, Dewott running to the hall while Zoroark was at his side, "hey don't move around too much, you've been out for a week." Dewott came back into the room leading Dante, Goth-li, and professor juniper. Dante was on one crutch as his right arm was in a sling, Dante smiled widely, "man you really had us scared there for a few minutes." The professor went to the foot of Evans hospital bed picking up the clipboard, "you will have to be in bed for a few more days, after that the doctor's suggest that you not leave the building until they clear you." Putting the clipboard down she walked over to the side of the bed leaned over and gave Evans a hug, "I'm glad you're safe and alive." She let go and turned to Dante, "the both of you, I'm really glad that you're both here alive and safe." Dante smiled widely, "of course I couldn't just leave my friend in that place." The professor laughed, "thank you for that. Might I say Evans you have the best security in the whole building." Evans looked confused as the professor handed him a Pokéball, "Golurk and Electivire have been guarding the room ever since you were put in here." Taking the Pokéball Evans questioned, "Electivire?" Dante answered, "The same one that revived you said that it would like to follow you as a way to show its gratitude for saving it from that underground base." The professor put a hand on Evans shoulder, "I believe that that is enough excitement for one day, Evans get some rest you need it." Turning to Dante, "and you, go back to your room you need the rest as well." As Dante and the professor were leaving Evans asked, "Dante what happened to Ramon and Zoroark's mom?" Dante had his back turned but the expression on his face was dark, "Ramon escaped, no one knows where he went. Zoroark's mom is at the Pokémon center right now getting treated so she'll be fine. Listen to what the professor said get some rest, we'll worry about Ramon another day." Evans nodded as he laid his head back down and stared out the window, 'I'm glad I was able to say good bye.' Evans slowly fell asleep as the sun began to set.

This is the end of another chapter; I let Ramon live because he has another part to play further down. Ideas for the next chapter just need to be sorted out so the wait time should not be as long. PIE!
