#15 of Vore Thursday Quickies

Here we have my vaporeon Rain devouring a city in a way he thought would be fun, stealthy and very effective. He got two of the three down at least.

"Rain's homemade rice krispy treats, the perfect treat for you and your friends." Looking over the box it had a vaporeon with a chef's hat and apron on with a plate full of the treats in the middle. The arctic fox tossed it into his shopping cart as he figured he could trick others into thinking he made them since they had a blue color to them with the marshmallow. "Highly doubt they're homemade but I doubt they'll be able to tell. Now to just get some soda and I'll be all set for the big game." James always hated it when it was his turn for bringing the snacks as he disliked cooking in general and would often just get criticized for bringing store bought goods.

Grabbing the rest of what he needed, James went to the register to check out in the fast lane. Only half paying attention when the cashier asked, "Preparing for the big game tonight?"

"Huh? Oh yeah and I'm on snack duty." Not really wanting to make small with the cashier himself, wanting to just get out of the store and head home.

"These are a lot better than I expected for being homemade," the cashier said as she scanned the rice krispy treats. "The company that made them actually had the store give the employees free samples and they seem to be selling fast." James just nodded his head slightly waiting to get the total. "That'll be twenty five dollars and ninety two cents." Swiping his card, he took the receipt and left before the cashier could even tell him the thank you for shopping line.

After he got home and put away his groceries, James grabbed the rice krispy treats box and started pulling out the individually packaged treats. Grabbing a plate from the cupboard, he started unwrapping the treats and placing them down onto the counter. Just to make it look like he put some effort into it, he melted some chocolate and drizzled it over them. It looked terrible compared to how most would of been able to do it but oh well it got the job done. Once the chocolate hardened, he picked them up one by one and set them on the plate in a pyramid formation.

Setting things up for the game didn't take much time and now all he had to do was wait for the others to arrive. Though before they did James grabbed the first rice krispy treat off from the top and took a bite out of it. The marshmallow was a bit gooier and stickier than usual as strings of it stretched between them upon pulling the rest of it away from his jaws. As for the taste it was different from most that he had before but the more he chewed the better it tasted. Hearing the doorbell, James got up and stuffed the rest of the treat into his jaws.

Opening the door, a couple of his friends walked in as he held up one finger for them to give him a second. After James swallowed the last of the treat, he said, "Hey guys, John and Rick still coming?"

"Yeah," the wolf Mike said as he sat down on the couch. "Rick is taking forever to get ready as usual." Noticing the plate on the table, Mike chuckled a bit. "Well what do you know, James actually made something for once. Do I dare eat one?"

"I dunno man, last time James actually made something John was sick for an entire week." The feline, Tom teasingly said in reply as he sat on the opposite side of the couch.

"Ha ha ha. Very funny guys and for your information, I just had one and it was fine."

"I can tell your mouth is blue just like them. Wish me luck." Grabbing one, Tom took a bite out if it and Mike waited to see the feline's reaction. "Mmm not bad actually, might of used a bit too much marshmallow but it's still good. Congrats James you were able to make something without killing them."

Sitting down on the couch between the two, James shook his head and turned the television channel to the pregame show. Things were a bit quiet from there since it was usually John and Rick being the life of the group. Though luckily the silence was broken from the door bell ringing. "Come in!"

The couple opened the door and made their way inside. Rick an otter rushed passed and off towards the bathroom while his raccoon boyfriend John walked up behind the couch. "Please tell me the snacks are safe and not made by James again, I don't want to get sick."

"They're fine, even Tom says they are." James grabbed the plate and lifted it up over his head. "Eat one."

John looked at the plate hesitantly then over at Tom who nodded his head. "I swear if I get sick again I'm not letting you guys have him do the snacks again." Grabbing one from the plate, he took a sniff then the smallest bite out of it possible to make sure it was safe. After he confirmed it at least tasted okay, he took a bite out of it and made his way over to the recliner.

Once John took his seat, James was about to say something until Rick popped back into the room with the box. "James, I've been hearing about these today and have been wanting to try them." The arctic fox cursed under his breath as the others all turned their heads towards him.

"I knew they tasted too good to be true. I don't know why you tried to lie about it." Noticing James was getting a bit grumpy, Tom nudged his shoulder. "James you know we're just teasing you but you have to admit it was silly of you to try and cover it up. Plus at least these are better than those stale snacks you usually get."

"Sorry James didn't know you were trying to hide it." Rick said as he walked past everyone in front of the television before sitting on his boyfriends lap. As the game began things went quiet for the most part as they focused on the game well all except for Rick who just wanted to be lovey dovey with John. The others on the couch mostly just rolling their eyes at them, not being gay like themselves and not completely used to it. It didn't help that they had all been friends since they were kids and the two dating was a complete shock.

One by one the snacks started to disappear into their bellies and the treats started to break down. Though unknowingly to them the supposed marshmallow in them was actually a sentient goo that absorbed itself into the stomach walls. A couple of them would rub their gut slightly feeling a little odd for a moment but the feeling passed quickly. The process was slow and went unnoticed as the rest of the stomach was added to the invading lifeform. In their mouths where some of the goo had remained from their eating it started to shift colors from the blueish tint to a light orange glow.

"Oh come on, that was totally a foul!" Mike yelled out as in his opinions the refs are always turning a blind eye.

James noticing the change in Mike's mouth as he turned to look over at him. "Woah Mike, the inside of your mouth is glowing orange."

"Huh?"

Rick responded before anything else could be said, "It's an effect the snacks have, read it on the back of the box. So nothing to worry about." Showing off his maw to show the change as well.

"Has mine changed too?" Tom asked as he opened his mouth.

"What are you twelve or something now, Tom? It's just a snack and something they did to try and get kids to buy it." Mike said as he pointed at the screen. "And great, you made me miss a goal." Snagging the remote from James, the wolf rewound to back before the goal.

Before long the infectious goo spread from their mouths and met up with the goo coming from the stomach in the middle of the esophagus. From there it spread out to the other internal organs and to the brain, the body helpless and unable to fight off the invader. The nervous system getting under it's control rapidly to send signals to the brain that everything was running like normal as it started to take over the heart. With the internals all but absorbed over by the goo, the lifeform let the creatures keep control over their bodies for a while longer to have some fun with their reactions.

Things were going like every other night until Rick and John started flailing about a little. "What the hell!" James shouted as the two were stuck together by their mouths a blue goo binding them together. "Mike, Tom help them, I'm going to call 911!" Running around trying to find a phone, James noticed his white fur was starting to turn blue and loose some of it's fluffiness.

Mike wrapped his arms around Rick's midsection while Tom lifted John slightly and tried helping pull them apart. The goo spread out from the couple's muzzles and around the rest of their heads as the pulling was completely ineffective. Looking at each other, Tom and Mike let go of the two as they saw blue splotches start to appear over their own bodies.

Finally finding the phone in the kitchen, James scrambled to dial 911. Hearing his friends panic in just the next room as the ringing tone seemed to last far too long. "911 what's your emergency? This is Rain speaking."

"Operator, myself and four of my friends have all caught something and it's messing with our bodies. Send help please... I'm scared and..." James shivering as he watched the change absorb his clothes as well and then his voice changed. "Please hurry!"

"Sounds like everything is fine to me, please only call if it's an emergency." James started to lose hope when he realized his voice had changed and matched the operators.

Running back into the living room, James saw Rick and John melting into one another with the tan, brown, black and blue color mixing. Mike and Tom trying to pull the blue off of their limbs only to have a string of goo get pulled, drooping down between the paw and arm.

James turning involuntarily towards the mirror in his living room to look upon his body but instead of himself he saw mostly that of a vaporeon. His body moving without his command as he was forced to look into the mirror all but a couple splotches here and there and the left side of his face looked like himself. "Soon you will be gone and only exist as a part of my body." Remembering back to the box, it featured this same vaporeon, head fins sharing the same orange glow along with the inside of the mouth, eyes and nose. "Goodbye James." With that the last portions of the arctic fox were all but gone along with his mind.

Turning to the others, the Rain clone watched the final moments of the remaining four. The couple who had been so close before were no closer than ever having merged into one before with their minds melding together before disappearing too. The wolf and feline put up the biggest fight but it was all for not as they too would succumb to the vaporeon's goo. "Alright boys, let's find the remaining stragglers in this city and turn them before returning to the original."

"Rain!" The jolteon stormed into their hideout, finding the vaporeon lazing about in his chair made especially for him to hold his weight. "Explain why there is an investigation going on in the city a hundred miles away from here. Also all the images leaking out onto the net of a large amount of vaporeons who look just like you coming out of it towards us." Xavier tossing the tablet to Rain as his electricity was arcing off of his body.

Looking at the tablet, Rain scrolled through the file seeing the news clips about an entire city vanishing with hardly a trace and the authorities not releasing any information. "Calm down zappy, I just wanted to prove something to the leader is all though it seems I failed at the going unnoticed part."

"You better hope you have a way to communicate with those clones because if you don't and you lead the government right to our doorstep, you'll have hell to pay!" Xavier sent a lightning bolt into the television from his right paw, shattering the screen as well as making a hole go clean through it. "The next one is going into you again, now take care of it and you better not go macro so close to the base!"

Rain quickly got up and stormed out the entrance with Xavier following closely behind, electricity still arcing off of him. "I swear I'm taking care of it, all right!" Rain quickening his pace as the jolteon sent a bolt right behind the vaporeon's footpaws.
