Here Comes The Rain

Thought I'd start writing again, its been a while but I suppose its like riding a bike. Hope you enjoy.
Alex glanced out at the salty sea, the warm wind was coming toward the shore tonight and likely it would storm before the morning. Eight days had passed and still there was a gaping hole in his soul. Life without Kai was blurred at the edges, sometimes he found himself staring at nothing as the world passed by. The last few days were definitly fuzzy and somehow they blended together. He remebered Kai's family heading north, he was going to a hospital to visit his grandmother who was ill and most likely in the morgue by now, cancer wasn't pretty, no matter who is destroyed.
Alex had never seen Kai so distressed as the day he was pulled out of english class by his father, he had never had to deal with a death in his immediate family, his grandparents were healthy with the exception of his grandmother, and even so she seemed healthy enough a month ago at christmas time.
Alex's tail waved back and forth as he leaned against the wall seperating the beach from the side walk, Kai still didn't know his real feelings and Alex was much to afraid to let them show, Kai was out of reach. Even if Kai was gay, Alex didn't think he would be attracted to a husky like himself. Kai was a wolf, strong independant, Alex was the only person Kai hung out with outside of school. They were both 16 and headed towards colledge, yet they found themselves longing for something more out of life then simple achievements and awards for school.
Alex took a deep breath and turned to wards the road, he only lived a few blocks away but he thought he might as well walk down the street a bit and see if Kai was back. The road had very few lights and the sidewalk was along the beach. Alex could hear the ocean as he strolled down the street. As he grew closer to Kai's house he saw that still the drivewy was empty and the house was devoid of light, he was about to turn around when a cab pulled up along the street, stopping at Kai's house.
A wolf about 6'1" got out of the back and handed the driver something, the cab drove off as the wolf pulled a backpack up on his shoulder and fished for his keys. As he was reaching into his pockets Alex called out to him. Startled, Kai dropped his keys, "Jeeezus! You frightend me man. Don't do that anymore."
"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. I saw you drive up, I was just out for a walk and stuff." Alex glanced at the ground to avoid Kai's eyes.
"Since when do you go sneaking about the neighborhood at 2 in the morning, I thought your parents were strick about curfew?"
"Well uh, I have a pillow and a bowling ball covering for me."
"Ahh, don't get grounded again, but you still haven't told me WHY your out here."
"Guess I just needed some air. How'd things go up north?" Alex asked slowly, trying not to make Kai upset.
"Not good, she was in pretty bad shape when I got there, and uh, she didn't last very long. But we were all there with her in the end, I think she was happier that way." Kai's ears drooped a little as he spoke the words. Alex shifted uncomfortably, he really didn't know what to say. At a loss for words he threw his arms around Kai, "I'm sorry Kai." He lets go of the wolf as soon as he realized what he'd done.
"It's OK, you wanna come in for a bit? My parents are staying up north to arrange the funeral, I said I didn't want to hang around so I caught a plane back home."
"Uhh, sure. You want some help with those bags?"
Kai opened the door and walked into his house, he tossed his shoes in the corner and threw his bag onto the couch. "Come on in!" he called back to Alex, "You want something to drink? We have Coke, Water, Juice, Beer, anything."
"I'll have some juice if thats OK." Alex didn't like to drink that often, he didn't like not being in control of himself and he didn't want to act like a ass while his friend was still sad about his grandmother.
"Yeah sure, come on into the kitchen." Alex set his sandles by the door and walked into the house.
Alex sat on the counter as Kai made up a quick meal. "Do you want something to eat? I never eat on planes and my flight left around 2 today."
"No, thanks anyways though." Alex walked around the island he was sitting on seconds before.
"Nervous?" asked Kai, chuckling ubder his breath.
"NO!" said Alex a little too fast.
"Oh really, since when did you act so jumpy, you've never hid anything before, I can read you like a menu." Kai chuckled and grabbed his plate.
"I dunno, I've just been bored and lonely for the last week or so, its the middle of summer and I have noone to go fishing with, or play video games."
"Get a girlfriend, that'll keep you busy."
"I'm not the kinda guy who goes around looking to get laid, I thought you knew me better then that Kai."
"I do, I do, I was just offering subjestions, thats it." Kai wandered into the living room, "What do you wanna watch? There's CSI, Fight Clubs on, and I'm sure The Simpsons will be on at least four channels."
"Doesn't matter, I might head home soon, I need my sleep or I get ugly."
"Ha! You're never ugly!" Kai blushed, " Er I mean, in a bad mood."
"What?" said Alex.
"Nothing, pick something to watch or do, I'm almost done my food here and we can go down to the beach or whatever."
"Well I should probubly head home..."
"No, stay a bit, I mean if you want to, Its nice to talk to someone who isn't in tears, or is reading off a prognosis to you."
"Well, we could go down to the beach for a bit, it's nice and warm out there right now, and you can see the stars, well some of them, the clouds were moving fast when we came inside."
Alex laid down on the sand, Kai sat down beside him, "Wow look at those clouds, its really going to storm soon."
"I'd say we have about 30 minutes." said Alex, "So how do you feel about everything."
"Well, I'm glad its over, all I want to do now is lay down and go to sleep for a bit." Kai laid down beside Alex. "This is probubly the best place I could be right now, spending time with you kinda makes me forget my problems." Alex's ears perked up, he glanced over at Kai and saw that he could see his reflection in Kai's eyes, they were filling with tears. Alex moved his head towards Kai, Kai moved in and kissed Alex. Alex puled Kai close to him. "Kai, I didn't know you felt that way."
"Yeah, well, shit happens." He smiled and blinked back his tears. He hugged Alex and kissed him again, this time they met halfway and Alex slid his arms up Kai's back. " I love you Alex." Kai whispered as he broke the kiss.
"I love you too." whispered Alex as he stared into Kai's eyes. "I've loved you since I first saw you." Alex grabbed Kai by the hand and lead him down towards the beach. They were close to the end of the beach and most of it was private. Alex lead Kai to a small section of the beach where the forest blocked the view of the houses. He pulled Kai tight to him and kissed him again. He pulled of his own shirt and Kai followed suit.
"You sure you wanna do this?" whisperd Kai, " I mean, its up to you."
"I can't think of a thing that would make me happier." Alex slipped off his sandles and stood kissing Kai in his jeans. Kai reached down and undid his pants. Standing in the moonlight together in boxers the husky held the wolf for the first night of many, they laid down on the sand.
Kai slid his hands down and pulled of Alex's boxers, he felt Alex's sheaf and began rubbing his chest. Alex moaned gently as Kai's muzzle nudged agains his exposed cock. Kai licked the exposed flesh until it was out of the sheef. Kai pulled down his boxers and began feeling his sheef as he licked Alex. "Alex, I want you to mount me." He rolled over onto his stomach as Alex sat up, his member was driping in pre.
"Are you sure, I mean, are you ready for this?"
"Ready as I'll ever be," he moaned as Alex slowly puched into him, he felt alex slowly pushed deeper. "Oh, god your big." Alex pulled back a bit and slowly went back in. Gradally he increased speed, soon he was thrusting right into Kai.
"Kai, I'm about to come," he panted. Kai reached down and stroked his own member. He was about to come too. He came first, he spooged all over the sand below him. Alex felt Kai tighten, this pushed Alex over the edge, he came inside of Kai. Kai moaned loudly as Ales's knot pushed into him.
"Oh god," said Alex as he collapsed beside Kai on the sand still tied to his mate. Alex reached over and kissed Kai.
"I love you." whispered Kai as the rain began to fall.
