Nasha: pirate captain of the black shadow. She is a feline with all white fur blue eyes and blood red hair. A Cutthroat in battle and a caring soul was born as the daughter of a rich family. She lived in luxury until she got bored with her sheltered life and ran away to a ship and learned the pirate trade. She is now living a happy life as the foster mother of Jynx.
Jynx: a small kitten with black fur and purple streaks at the base of his ears born into a poor family he lived on the streets until his mother died then when he saw a pirate ship docked in port he stowed away and was quickly found by Nasha who at first was going to kill him but after she failed to capture him decided to keep him as a pet and a son he now lives on the back shadow as a cabin boy and Nasha's assassin
"Captain, we have taken too much damage we can't keep this up".
"Don't worry we can keep fighting until he is done with his nap then we can turn the tides of this fight in our favor," she said as a bullet flew right past her head. "Okay I think I should get him now."
"You think?!" The cat said with a scared look on his face.
Nasha then turned around and walked through the double doors down the stairway and into her chambers. She walked to the corner to a bed with a small, black ball sleeping on it. She ran her paw down Jynx's back making him shiver and purr and his ears perk up. "Jynx, get up, sweetie, its time to play the game."
"Hmm, do I get to play it with you?"
"Oh I'm sorry, honey, but I have to stay here, but you can set a record for me to beat later."
"Oh okay fine where are my knives?"
"Right here, kitten," she tossed the blades at him which he caught and with one swift movement sheathed them inside his jacket.
"Okay I guess I'll be back in a few," he said as he walked out with his head sunk down. "She never plays anymore I miss the game."
He made his way to the doors and walked outside. He was greeted with happy faces which made him smile a little. Two crew men set up a plank to the other ship for him. He was about to do what he does best...kill. As he made his way to the other ship he drew his blades and his pupils began to dilate and turn into circles instead of slits. As the other crew went to attack him he just swung his arms and they dropped like fly's two! He was counting his kills. Five! Six more ran up swords drawn
"C'mon, lads, he can't take all of us!" They ran forth at him but with no luck Jynx just danced around them slicing and slashing his way threw eleven! He did so until the enemy stopped and surrendered.
"Jynx! That is enough," Nasha said walking over to the ship. "So how many?"
"Twenty four, Nasha, did I do well?"
"Yes, kitten, you did great. I will have to beat that later. Now all of you search the ship for anything of value!"
"Yes, captain!"
"Jynx, you stay here with me I don't want anything happening to you besides don't you want your reward?" She began to pet and scratch his head as he purred.
"I like this reward a lot not as much as I like the whiskey reward though why can't I have that?"
"We ran out of whiskey yesterday remember after you killed all those French dogs?"
"Oh yeah I remember now they were cowards only killed three of them and they surrendered."
"Captain, we have found something below deck you should see!"
"Okay I'm coming! Jynx, would you like to join me?"
"Yes I would love to."
He walked beside Fei down below the ship till they got to the hold where her first mate was standing at the massive door.
"We can't get in without the combination and these filthy strays won't tell us what it is."
"Well why don't you beat it out of them," Jynx said picking one up by the throat.
"NO! Jynx, put him down you know the rules we don't kill the ones that would die rather than give information instead why don't you try your paw at it, honey, maybe you can open it for me?"
"I guess." he walked up to the big door and stuck his claw in the lock and a few seconds later it clicked open and it swung open.
"Well that wasn't hard at all."
"Good kitten," Nasha said walking over to jynx and scratching his ears and stroking his back making him purr loudly.
As they walked into the room they all fixed there vision on a single chest.
"Of course something guarded this well must have some value!"
"Hold on there!"
Nasha said with a hesitant tone.
As she said this Jynx's ears were perking up as his nose twitched wildly as if a familiar scent was around. He walked up to the chest slowly placing his paws over it as he sniffed the lock curiously closing his eyes.
"Jynx honey what is it?"
Nasha asked with a worried tone.
"It is familiar; my scent but not exactly from long ago but still recent like someone was just here."
"You tabby boy!"
She pointed to the tabby cat sitting in the corner bound by chains from her crew.
"Who is the owner of this ship and don't lie to me I don't take kindly to liars."
"Well uh the captain would be Master Vincent of the Maple Fang."
He said in a calm but hesitant tone almost not afraid to die.
"Who was here in this room last then?"
"Well that would have been the cabin boy of sorts more or less his personal demon.
"Does this demon have a name?"
"Yes b-b-Blix...."
As the boy said this Jynx jumped at the name and began to breath heavy as his paws balled up into little furry fists then he grabbed the lock and with a burst of strength he ripped the lock off the chest and flung it open reaching in and taking the object out of the chest and stared at it for awhile the ruby claw sparkled with what light was in the room then dropped to the ground almost in tears.
"Jynx honey what did you find?"
"It's nothing....just something from my past"
He said as he slipped the object in his jacket pocket and slowly rose from the ground catching his breath and adjusting his collar and walking out of the room as Nasha looked at him confused......
Later...it was night time and jynx was in his bed in the main cabin of the Black Shadow he laid there fiddling the gem in his fingers.
"I thought he had died long ago Blix....how did you survive that fall....?
As he finished his sentence Nasha entered through the door way in her night coat walked next to Jynx and kneel to get to his eye level he was a short little guy.
"Wanna tell me what's going on with you kitten?
"It's just....you see my brother I think died seven years ago around the time you found me. Our mother just died three years before then and we were left on our own he took care of me I was still too young to do anything back then you know? *Sigh* but three years later we were trapped by some gang who wanted our jewel we wouldn't give it to them it was the last thing of my mothers that we own. They pushed him off the cliff and he took the jewel with him to his supposed watery grave. But his scent was fresh on the jewel I don't know how he lived he should have died on the drop..."
Nasha tried to fight back the tears that were about to start on her as she hugged him tight Jynx is the only one who ever saw the soft loving side of the Captain.
"He must have been picked up out of the water by this Vincent guy if that is the case he might not be the brother you once knew Jynxie. I have heard of this guy he is a ruthless pirate lord who trains all his crew to kill without feeling or hesitation. If Blix is your brother he must be just as deadly in combat as you. You must know that if you do meet him and things don't go the way we like you must do what you need to do to live kitten mine."
"I know Nasha I know....."
