Shade's Childhood Memories
Sadhe walked into his room and slammed the door, hurt and embarrassed. He had small scratches all over his face and one very noticeable cut on his cheek, his blood flowing slowly from it. Jumping onto the bed to pout and release the rest of his anger, his tiny fists punching his black pillow. His entire room is mostly black, anything that is not is either silver or from one of his siblings. The flooring is made of ashy wood, being more grey than brown. It is very common in this side of his nation for more people on this side of the river to be Necranists, so the color choices are very common. The furniture in his room are also made of ash wood, even his bed has black wool covering it. Once Sadhe finished punching his pillow in anger he grabbed his stuffed toy dragon, holding it tightly as he holds back his tears, his cheeks still blushing a bright red.Someone knocks on the door and a deep male voice is heard, "Sadhe, are you ok? I saw what you did.""Leave me alone Fasher Alchem! I don's wanna salk abous is!" Shade yelled back, his oversized black canines making his speech get slurred once again to his irritation. He hates his teeth for this reason, he has not been able to speak correctly unless if he concentrates very hard on his lips and tounge."Yes well, your brother is wanting to speak with you when you are ready. Do not keep him waiting, for his sake at least." His thick boots are heard outside the door as he walks away.Sadhe keeps holding his black toy dragon and keeps thinking of what happened, trying to stay mad as long as possible. He was in his brother's little garden, helping him plant a cherry tree. When they finished planting it Sadhe turned to look at his brother just suddenly kissed him on the lips, and it made Sadhe feel so embarrassed and weird he couldn't help but punch him in the face. By reflex his brother's tail whipped back at him and cut his cheek. This however made Sadhe lose all reason and he starting to wail on him. The 'fight' broke up once Father Alchem ran up and pulled Sadhe away, who then kicked his father in the shin and ran off.'Why does he do that? He always does it, and it feels weird! I just wish he would stop.'Sadhe opens his eyes however when he hears crying outside the door, he already knows who it is. The loud sobbing of his brother is always easy to recognize, "Whas do you wans!"A loud sniff is heard outside and the door opens just a crack, revealing Sadhe's brother's vivid forest green eyes, "D-D-Do you n-n-need h-h-healing?" He weakly asks.Sadhe's lips twitch as he tries to stay mad, but seeing his brother like this always makes him feel sad for doing it. He sighs and nods, "Yeah I guess, come in Lee."Lee, the black furred fox boy quickly walks in. His green tipped ears bent from his oversized nurse cap on his head, he never did cut holes into it. In his arms he is carrying his medical bag, it is very heavy, since it was
never made for a eight year old to carry. His dirty blue jeans drag on the floor slightly, being a few sizes too big for him. The green shirt he normally wears is hidden behind the dress-up doctor coat he is wearing.Lee's left eye is slightly swollen and his cheeks were purple under his fur, all this due to the beating Sadhe gave him. Although he was surprised to see him limping slightly, he never touched his legs, maybe he did it on accident. His green tipped black tail is bent slightly, probably from Sadhe stomping on it by accident when he was running away.Lee quickly crawled onto Sadhe's bed and opened his medical bag, revealing a small syringe, bandages, antiseptic, band-aids, medical alcohol, and several other things underneath. The sight always made Sadhe curious as to how anyone lets a kid carry around so many weapons, even if they were for medical use. Lee whimpers and keeps crying as he pulls out a small liguid filled vial, tilting it to let a small drop fall onto the band-aid. Once it is damp enough Lee turns to Sadhe and rubs the band-aid onto Sadhe's bleeding wound.While still crying Lee half mumble half sobs to Sadhe, "I'm sorry for wait I d-d-d-did. I C-c-couldn't help myself...I-I-I." Lee can not take it anymore and drops to his knees beside him, his hands rubbing his tear filled eyes and his broken tail twitching madly, "I l-l-love you!"Sadhe flinches at this and can not take it anymore, putting down his dragon and reaches his arm out to Lee. He flinches and covers his face, not wanting to be hit again. This only hurts Sadhe more and he looks away in quilt as he softly pet Lee's head, making Lee stop crying as hard and uncover his face. Sadhe grins slightly at turns to look at him, "I love you soo Lee..."Lee immediately brightens up and jumps forward to plant another kiss on his lips. Sadhe sees this however and pushes his face away, "Nos like shas! I means like a brosher so brosher kind of love.""Oh..." Lee blushes behind Sadhe's hand, slowly pulling it off his face and looking at him with still wet eyes, "But you don't hate me right?"Sade looks at him like he just said the stupidest thing he ever heard, "Of course I do, your my brosher."Lee smiles widely at this and pushes his hand away, hugging him tightly around his chest as he nuzzles his cheeks into his dirty black shirt. Sadhe blinks in surprise at this and slowly returns the hug.After a long time of staying like this Sadhe speaks up, "Jush don's kiss me again..."Lee nods happily into his chest, his broken tail snapping back into place as his strange reguvination ability kicks in, making all the bruises and cuts slowly heal.'What is wrong with my brother? He is so emotional its embarrassing.''Don't worry Sadhe, I won't kiss you, but that doesn't mean I can't kiss the bandages that touch you.'
