Now centuries have passed and life had returned to normal but they still remained divided. A new Race appears and holds the Key to change everything that was thought to be reality.

Prologue
Humans, a strong and intelligent race overcoming drought, famines, diseases and war each challenge pushing them more towards the future. Yet they failed to see the signs given to them, having exhausted Earth resources their planet was now dying. The atmosphere too toxic to breath and the water, fowl from the radiation.
Humanity in an attempt to survive moved to space, building massive colonies in Earth's orbit. Using their drones to collect viable resources from the dying planet. But it was a futile attempt; having no other options they began to consider the idea of other planets to colonize on, project Life.
Five years into their research they found what was believed to be their best hope, planet X1. Located in the same galaxy but millions of stars way, in the next ten years humans built thousands of space crafts, each holding millions of people and held what was left of their resources. The cost in this last attempt was high; Earth now is nothing but a barren and radioactive wasteland, no life and no hope.
Year 2059, Humanity launch project Life each human chronicle frozen until a week before arrival. Hoping for the best everyone got in their chambers and prayed that this was not the last time they opened their eyes. One week before arrival they came upon something they hadn't foreseen, other intelligent life had already occupied the planet they called themselves them Xerlians. Mainly consisting of anthropomorphic beings, largely Canines and felines that were similar to Earths animals. But they had one difference and that was magic, they called it the Gift. The knowledge of how to use life around one to create energy or something from nothing though it did had its limitations.
Humans refused to share 'their home' with animals, considering them lower beings. Using the remains of their resources they committed homicide. Even with their magic in one year they had wiped out about a third of the Xerlian population.
In trues, the Xerlian surrendered the planet over to the humans, but that was not enough, Humans began to enslave what remained of the Xerlian and segregated them. A century had pass since the war and Planet X1 looked much like Earth during the early 21st century, though there were different laws to accommodate different race. The Xerlians can't go to any human gatherings unless allowed or human buildings unless allowed. Schools, stores and homes where all divided. Xerlians unique ability of magic was now scorn by society, what made them unique was now their cruse.
Unknown to most the humans, even they discriminated against the Xerlians were interested in their ability to harness the life force around them, many federal compounds where built to research further into this matter, using live specimens. Few knew about these research facility and fewer knew where they were located.
