The Tome on Purgatory Deities

Deities in Purgatory are a tricky thing. While there are deities in Purgatory there are also no deities in Purgatory. What we inhabitants of Purgatory see as deities,others see as normal men and women. In this tome I will list all eight Purgatory Deities and how they came to be.
The first Goddess is the Goddess of Wind,the chief god/goddess among the rest. It is said she created Purgatory in the first place when the power of Heaven and Hell erupted but this has yet to become proven. She takes the form of a beautiful human woman with long black hair,a slender body,grey eyes and a silk semi transparent dress. Around her arms at all times are golden rings. Those who have encountered her say that they feel light as a feather and quicker then an elf. Out of all the gods and goddesses of Purgatory, The Wind Goddess is the most neutral of them all.
The second God is the God of Fear,the evilest of the eight and the strongest. The God Of Fear is said to have been born of the fears of mortal men and the fears of those not human,such as the dark creatures that lurk the Dark Woods. He takes the form of a black wolf with glowing blood red eyes and spikes run along his back. He is entirely naked and he always has a creepy,sadistic grin on his face. As I said, The God of Fear is the most evil of the eight.
The third Goddess is the Goddess of Hope,the purest of the eight and one who frequently mingles with the inhabitants of Purgatory. It is said that she was born as an angel but fell when she began to interact with mortal lives,helping them.. It is also said that she is the mother of holy magic and the person who first gave mankind the knowledge of Paladins and their duty. She takes the form of a dove with soft blue eyes and long brown hair and wears a priestess's robes with the hood always up. She is the kindest and most caring of the eight,as well as the purest of heart.
The fourth God is the God Of War,the second strongest and most violent of the eight. It was he who first spread the knowledge of war to Purgatory and the world of the living and is said to be worshiped by the dead and the living but not actively in Purgatory. He takes the form of a tiger with red eyes and no hair. He wears heavy plate armor and always carries a large axe with him at all times. He is the most unpredictable and second most dangerous of the eight.
The fifth God is the God of Balance and was born at the village of Keinheim and raised as an Order of Purgatory monk after his parents were killed. He takes the form of a black and white wolf with black and white eyes covered in cloth bandages from neck to toe. He wears a robe with a hood that covers his face,as if he didn't have one at all,and almost never talks. He is considered a 'pretend God' due to the Wraith that lives within him and he goes by the name of Alexander Selenveen. He is the most dangerous and also the least dangerous.
The sixth Goddess is the Goddess of Tranquility,the calmest and most peaceful of the eight. It is said that she was born from soul of a dying angel that only wanted peace in all three worlds and that she was the one to give the knowledge of healing magic upon all life. She takes the form of a teenage human child with long blond hair and white eyes while wearing a beautiful white sundress. She is the most level headed and thoughtful of the eight as well as the most peaceful.
The seventh God is the God of Darkness,the most feared of the eight,more feared then the God Of Fear himself. It is said he was born from the seed of Darkness at the very beginning of time itself and that anything and everything that is dark is his domain,even the darkness in a person's soul. He takes the form of a gigantic black dragon with glowing blood red eyes and a shadowy aura clinging to every single one of his scales. He is the most feared of the eight and the oldest out of them all.
The final Goddess is the Goddess of Light,the second most beloved of the eight and the second oldest. It is said that she was born from time's first dawning light and birthed mortal kind along side the God of Darkness. It is also said that she granted her power to the God Of Balance along side the God of Darkness. She takes the form of a swan with long white hair and shining white armor with white eyes.
