_ Mewtwo and Lucario _

Run on pure imagination

Mewtwo's P.O.V.

'Those damned humans. Abusing pokemon like they're mere tools and slaves. I need to put a stop to this. The only question for me is how? I'm a psychic type, I can figure this out. But first I need to find some water.' I thought to myself. I stopped my flight and landed on a patch of land next to a lake of almost crystal clear water. I used my psychic to lift a sphere of water about a foot in diameter to my lips. I looked around to see other pokemon staring at me. Mostly Furret and Stantler since there are native to the region I am traveling in.

The Johto region can be a lovely place, but it can turn deadly in an instant. Like how a rose appears beautiful but can harm you as soon as you touch it with the thorns still on. Unless you know where to pick it up.

I finished the rest of my water and prepared for my flight across the region. But someone tapped on my shoulder before I could take off. I turned around and found a female Lucario.

"Um, excuse me, sir. But I was wondering if I could maybe challenge you to a battle?" She asked.

"I'm afraid if you did, you would be devastated at the results." I replied putting a hand on her shoulder.

She looked at my hand on her shoulder and then looked back at me. "Please? I need to train myself so I can get my den back from a Tyranatar." The girl explained.

"You need not to train yourself. I will go for you." I said kindly. "Besides, you're a fighting type. I am psychic. The odds are against you if you were to battle me."

"Thank you for the offer, but I prefer to fight my own battles." She said.

"Fine. May I at least get your name first?" I asked.

"My name is JJ. May I get yours?" She answered.

"I have not decided on a name for myself. But the humans call me Mewtwo." I said back. I walked to the edge of the lake as JJ walked to the edge of the clearing. About 20 meters between us. just enough for my last resort attack. Not that I think that it will come to that.

JJ moved her paws to a chi position. A white orb appeared in the middle and once it got big enough, she launched it at me. Almost in the blink of an eye, I moved my arm up and brought a light screen out. Both attacks shattered upon impact.

"Word of advice, do not start out your battles with your strongest attack." I yelled.

"That wasn't my strongest, this is!" She yelled. JJ jumped into the air and slammed her fist into the ground causing an earthquake. I simply levitated off the ground to prevent damage. "What?!" she yelled out.

"I am a psychic type. I can levitate myself, giving me immunity to almost all ground type attacks." I explained. I sighed and used psychic. I picked her up with my mind and threw her towards the ground. She tried to get up, but settled on getting to one knee. I walked over to her and held a hand out. "Don't strain yourself to hard. I am sorry for that, but you challenged me." JJ took my hand and I helped her up. When I let go, she fell to her knees. I finally decided to pick her up altogether.

Curled up against my body and arms around my neck, she asked, "Why are you doing this for me?"

"You are a fellow pokemon. Are you not?" I said. With that, I floated up with JJ in my arms and flew off to Mt. Silver. I soon found the small, suitable cave that I lived in for the past few weeks with a Gardevoir named Grace.

"Mewtwo! You're back!" Grace yelled. "Who did you bring this time?"

"This is JJ. She challenged me to a battle and fell upon my psychic." I explained.

"Oh Mewtwo, don't go battling pokemon all the time! You're starting to bring pokemon to me more and more often!" Grace whined.

"She challenged me. And I did warn her." I said back. I looked down at JJ to find she had fallen asleep. "She's asleep. Just let me bring her to the bed." Grace moved aside and allowed me to set JJ on a straw bed next to mine.

JJ's P.O.V.

I woke up to someone putting a liquid on my scrapes and burns. Almost instantly, I screamed out in pain. I looked down to see a Gardevoir applying the liquid.

"Shhh, Mewtwo's trying to rest. The liquid is just an antibiotic. It will help you heal." She said. She picked my head up and gave my forehead a kiss. I stared at her like she was crazy. She giggled and said, "Don't worry, I do that to all my patients. Just get some rest and you'll be fine."

I relaxed and closed my eyes. I soon fell asleep and dreamed.

_ In the dream... _

I woke up to find Mewtwo carrying me to the top of the mountain. Up top was a lot of snow, but I didn't mind. "Mewtwo?" I asked. "What are you doing? Why are you carrying me?"

He looked down and smiled, not saying a word. When we reached the top, he set me down close to an edge. He sat down with his legs hanging off the edge of the cliff. I moved up next to him and looked at him, confused.

"Why did you bring me here?" I asked. He replied by pointing and looking at the stars. I looked too. What I found was astonishing. It was a Lucario and another figure dancing in the sky. Then I realized, it was me and Mewtwo! I looked back at him only to find him staring at me. "Did you do this?" I asked again. He shook his head. He leaned in close, but did not do what I thought he would do.

"Wake up." That was what he said before I jolted to reality.

_ Reality... _

I woke up to see Mewtwo standing over me. "We caught breakfast." He said simply.

I got up, wincing at the pain in my leg, and walked over to the entrance to the cave where the Gardevoir was sitting by a fire cooking a few Remoraid.

"I'm sorry, I never got your name. My name is JJ." I said to the Gardevoir.

"I know. My name is Grace. If your wondering how you got here, Mewtwo brought you back to recover from the battle." Grace said.

I looked over at Mewtwo, who had just sat down opposite of Grace, and began eating on of the three Remoraid. I sat down next to him and began eating my fish. After I was done, I found myself staring at Mewtwo. I now realized the reason I had approached him. Not because I needed training, not because I thought he was strange, but because... I think I like him.

Mewtwo's P.O.V.

I noticed JJ staring at me from the corner of my eye. No, I knew this thing. It happened with that Infernape I brought back here. She loves me. But I cannot allow this to happen. If I get into a relationship, then I will be afraid. Afraid of hurting the one I love.

I finished my fish, got up, and turned to JJ. "You must not love me. If I am ever in a relationship with you, I might hurt you." I said. I walked out of the cave, and to the top of the mountain. I needed time to myself.

Grace's P.O.V.

JJ tried to follow Mewtwo, but I gently grabbed her arm. She knew from the look I gave her that he needs to be alone.

"What does he mean by that?" JJ asked.

"Mewtwo was created by the Humans to be better than Mew. They were successful by means of power, but not in others." I explained. I sat her down and continued. "Soon after he escaped from the Humans, he met a Lopunny. They fell in love, but a few weeks after they married, he accidentally killed her while they were sleeping because of nightmares that torment him. He has denied several women of a relationship ever since."

"And you?" She asked.

"I was not one of them. I met Mewtwo one day because he was badly injured from a recently victorious fight a few weeks ago. I healed him and we've been living here ever since." I explained. "Now you should get back to bed. You injuries still haven't healed. They say laughter is the best medicine. That's a lie. Sleeping it off with proper treatment is."

JJ laughed at that and limped off to her bed.

'Please do not persist with him. I do not want you to die.' I said thinking to myself.

JJ's P.O.V.

I went off to sleep pretty easily. But I had another dream.

_ In the dream... _

We were in the same spot as before. On top of the mountain, legs hanging off the cliff, staring into each others eyes. Then, Mewtwo got up. I followed and found myself in his arms. He picked me up and brought me to the cave. Grace was not in there at the time.

Instead of bringing me to my bed though, he set me down in his. And he laid down next to me!

"Mewtwo?" I asked.

"Yes?" He said.

"Do you... Do you love me?" I asked. I reply, he kissed my lips. He was so passionate and gentle. I started to kiss back, but he pulled away. I saw the little smirk on his face and knew what he was thinking. I clenched my legs together and starred at him in horror as he reached down.

_ Reality... _

I woke up to someone shaking my leg. I looked down and saw Grace.

"Mewtwo wants to see you. He didn't say why." She said.

I got up and went to the cave entrance. Mewtwo was waiting for me. "You wish to see me?" I asked.

"Yes. I just wanted to let you know I've decided on a name. I've decided on David." He said. "Plus, I want to take you somewhere."

He picked me up in his arms and carried me too the top of the mountain. I noticed it was night. Just like in my dream. He sat me down at the edge of the cliff. I looked around and noticed only one difference from my dream. There was a trainer on the opposite side of us.

"You do know there is a trainer here." I said.

"Yes, but he is usually kind to us. He keeps to himself and thinks most of the time though." David answered.

I just kept staring at David though. When he looked back at me, I found myself leaning forward for a kiss. I stopped myself and tried to think of an excuse to why I had done that. But that all stopped when I found his lips on mine.

David's P.O.V.

I don't know why I did it, but it felt great to. I'v been hiding my emotions for her from even myself. but in the end they got out.

I felt JJ kiss back, and I wrapped my arms tightly around her. She broke away from the kiss and hopped onto my lap.

"I love you, David. Please don't reject me. I don't care if you hurt me I want to be with you." JJ said.

I held her arms and said, "Are you sure? Because once you come, you can never go back."

"I don't care. If you kill me, I'll be happy I was still with you." She answered. She pushed me onto my back and hugged me. "I'm not letting go until you accept me!"

I put an arm on her back and the other pushed her head closer to my chest. She looked up from the hug, yearning for an answer. "I love you." I replied.

A tear formed in her eye and she kissed me like she had nothing else in the universe. I broke away from the kiss and got up. I then picked her up and took her to the cave.

When I got to the entrance, Grace came up to me and said, "I have to go find me food and herbs. I already slept so I'll be back by dawn." I nodded and brought JJ to my bed.

"Do you want to?" I asked.

"I'm ready." She answered.

_ Author's notes: _

_ I am refraining from the 'love scenes' to try and lower my perviness. So for all you people who thought this was gonna lead to sex, find another story cause this one ends at the start of some! I need to work on more of my Anthro stories... But tell me what you thought of the dream scenes. I wanted to do something new so I added a dream. Tell me if you want them in the future or not. And please criticize me if you dislike the story! I need to become a better writer and criticizing is one of the only ways for me to get better. Oh, and there may be a second part. Still debating it with myself. _
