Untitled Poem 2
The night is crisp and clear,
Everything, I can hear.
The wind blows through my fur,
And brings smells from miles for sure.
The moon is full tonight
And is such a beautiful sight.
The one night that I feel I belong
Was what I've wanted all along.
Here tonight in this field,
I release emotions that were sealed.
I run faster
As the field turns to pasture.
The grass hits my muzzle and face,
Faster and faster, I pick up the pace.
You'd stand there in awe
At the speed of each paw.
In my running, I came across a rocky outcrop,
And decided to go to the top.
My tail is wagging as I arrive,
I've never felt so alive.
As I sit down the rest,
I move my nose west,
And in this wonderful month of June,
I tilt my head up, and howl at the moon.
