This is a list of concepts I've created for several sapient alien races that inhabit a 94 light year sphere of interstellar space in relation to Earth.

Each species has a brief description of what the most resemble, NOT what they actually are, plus their most significant achievements.

If you like what you see here, please share your thoughts in the comment section bellow.

The S'Khorr - a race of avianoid beings resembling anthro eagles or hawks, with females being the larger of the species, and are native to the Sirius Starzone. They are also known as Sirians, Nestbuilders or simply Bird Men.

S'Khorr name examples:

  • S'krell Noonien Sighn.

  • S'errek Ahllar Sihk.

  • S'tcharr Khul Zanche.

  • E'lanii Nhozemphtekh Zhane.

Vultagans- an interstellar race of canine centauroids resembling fox or wolf taurs. They are the oldest known spacefaring race and are native to the Vega Starzone. They are a very cunning and optimistic people, renouned as philosopheres and scientists. Their history of space travel pre-dates by over 250 years, possessing sophisticated space and aeronuatics technology, advanced medicines, and terraforming capabilities. They were the second sapient alien race to make contacted with humanity in 2441.

Vultagan name example:

  • Nhashobi "Vickers" Nhozemphtekh.

The Phinx - a race of sapient felinoids resembling anthropomorphic big cats. They very in appearance and have several different distinct breeds, each with his or her own specific role within society. They are native to the planet Esther in the Epsilon Eridoni Starzone.

The Brax - a interstellar race of insectoids of unknown origin, resembling bipedal Wetas or Ants, and posses a very similar social structure to that of termites, with each member divided into casts and ruled over by several breeding queens, or "Matriarchs" as their called. It is known that all recorded Brax controlled planets are actually colony worlds founded several centuries before. The Brax home world is unknown.

The Elder Beings/Originals/Primordial Ones/Others - a unseen, almost messianic race of beings that predated man by over 3 billion years. They were the dominate race of the galaxy millions years ago but vanished after a cataclysmic event occurred over one billion years ago called the Dawn War -- a galaxy-spanning conflict over the availability of various natural resources -- resulted in almost all sentient life in the galaxy being wiped out. They had arrived on Earth during the pre-Cambrian era and were responsible for the appearance of the first life-forms on Earth.

The Scavengers - one of the few intelligence left over from the Dawn War that occurred between the first few civilizations that arose in the Milky Way galaxy. Initially an organic race, they later made use of extensive cybernetics to enhance themselves, and eventually discarded their organic forms entirely to become wholly machine. The hints of a quadrupedal, warm-blooded vertebrate (also known as mammalian) past can be faintly discerned in their architectures.

The Delphei - also known as the Angels, were a mysterious race of winged sentients who inhabited the moons of Calpamos in the Zeta Reticuli Starzone. Reputed for their beauty, they were said by many to resemble female humanoids, with six wings, though other accounts described them as more androgynous.

The Vex - an interstellar race of reptilian humanoids native to Aldebaran Starzone. In the year 2458, humanity made first contact with its fourth sapient alien race, the Vex, after receiving a reply transmition to their interstellar broadcasting from the Aldebaran Starzone. Native to the planet that would come to be referred to by humans as Vex Prime, they evolved in the humid swampland rainforests of their planet and, like humans, they spread to fill many ecological niches, but are still most commonly found in their original habitat. While Vex appear reptilian in nature at first glance, they also exhibit fish- and amphibian-like qualities, such as being able to breathe underwater, having small gills behind their ears, and, while swimming use the same body mechanism as that of a tadpole or eel, waving its tail side-to-side to propel him or herself through the water. Males and females have the same average full grown height, which is about 150cm (~4' 11"), ranging between 145cm (4' 9") and 158cm (5' 2") at the tallest. Vex have a wide variety of cranial features, such as spines, feathers, ridges, spikes or horns. Female Vex are more commonly known to sport feathers or ridges, while males usually sport horns, spines or spikes that grow longer as he matures. Traditionally, Vex have been known to pierce their cranial features, due to their cultural beliefs. Unlike Earth reptiles, Vex are warm blooded and female Vex actually possess lacteal glands and sport mammalian-like breasts, that develop when females fully mature - a B-cup being average, and a medium E-cup being very generously endowed. Both sexes have lean builds, but the males have a higher muscle to fatty-tissue ratio, so although males and females have about the same average weight, the males are stronger. Vex mature much quicker then humans, females reaching sexual maturity at the age of 8 and males at the age of 7, and are fully grown by the ages of 14 and 15, with an average lifespan of 150 years. Vex reproduction cycle is somewhat complex. Like Earth reptiles, they due produce eggs, but instead of laying them in a nest, the eggs are retained and incubated inside the females womb, with an incubation duration of 7 to 8 months, of which time the eggs hatch and the female gives birth.
