Special thanks to my beta reader https://mirnehviir.sofurry.com/ for helping me along the way. Also thank you guys who read and commented on my journal for the directions where to publish my book.

now a question Id like to ask you. Do you think that this book of mine stands a chance at... capturing the audiences outside the furry/scaly/fantasy fandom? as we all know the first few chapters are quite... sexual indeed, so please tell me in the comments bellow what do you think? is the book worth publishing and will it catch the eyes of the non furry readers? please feel free to tell the truth, I can take it xD.

"Director! Director!" The nurse hastily knocked at the door leading to her bosses office. For some reason the man always kept the door locked.

"Yes, who is it?!" The man on the other side of the door asked with an annoyed flicker in his voice.

"It's me sir!" Said the nurse, she had been working in the asylum for a while and the Director knew her voice rather well. "The patient you have allowed the type writer to, sir, has written a book on it, sir." The nurses knees started to shake as she held the pile of papers hastily strapped together. She was, like everyone (sane) afraid of the man, he was known for his cruelty and his attitude, he wasn't afraid to blame the staff for problems that they didn't create and he had even accused a doctor who was a member of the staff in the asylum insane. The poor man remained in the asylum, but no longer as a doctor, but rather as the patient.

The newly arrived patient puzzled him, the man didn't speak his name, the man had long hair and a ragtag beard. The patient arrived not a month ago and had not spoken sanely since. The man was clearly very smart, with an IQ over 140, but he had not spoken a sane word since his arrival. The man appeared to be unable to distinguish between imagination and reality. He spoke to his imaginary friends all the time and paid no heed to the real people around him, he always spoke of dragons and mythical beings. One of his very few sane responses was when he was first asked for his name, the man simply answered: "Me? I'm a dragon!" And ever since that even the staff started calling him Dragon.

But the mystery didn't end there, in fact it only escalated. When another patient attacked him, the Dragon displayed a unprecedented mastery of martial arts, tossing the poor lunatic to the other end of the room, surprisingly he later acted like the whole incident never happened and remained friendly to the fellow patient.

At the moment the Dragon was only diagnosed with Bipolarism and Aspergers autism. Yet he puzzled the evil director and when the Dragon asked for a type writer and paper in his room to write, the director decided to humor him and allow such a request.

Now, nearly a month after being taken in, the Dragon wrote a book. The director didn't know what to make of this, so he unlocked the door, took the papers, dismissed the nurse and locked the door again.

He sat in his expensive chair and took a sip of his rare brandy, he had used the funds for the asylum for his personal gain and has transformed his office into a small cottage, it even had a fireplace! The place looked like a rich mans paradise.

"The princess and the dragon." Smirked the Director as he uttered the name of the book, before taking another sip of his brandy.

Soon he started flickering the pages and reading the book.

He deeply frowned at its contents "disgusting" as he read the sexual interactions between the small dragon and the fair princess. From the first page, he thought, a man could see that the person writing this was mentally impaired, childish and downright sick.

"No one will ever read this!" He hissed a shout after reading the first few chapters. "It must be destroyed... this work of a...of a... mad man..." Veins started appearing on his face as he hissed through his teeth as he got up and brought the book to the fireplace. His eyes looked at the fire and then at the book.

He smirked. "Perhaps, I should have fun with it first..." He said as an idea started forming in his head. He took the book and got out of his office.

"NURSE!" He shouted.

The poor woman arrived instantly. "Yes sir, what is your wish." The poor woman was petrified.

"PUT THIS INTO A COMPUTER FORMAT!" He ordered the nurse, who immediately started scanning the book and transferring it to the computer.

Soon afterwards, the director took the USB stick with the book on it, plugged it into his computer and started searching the internet for a publishing company.

He soon found a small publishing company for e-books, which also served for distributing books world wide. He made an account and uploaded the book, he set the price "free" because despite being greedy, he thought no one would want to read the book. After he had done that, he forgot completely about it.

A week later, the Director was checking his e-mail and found a gift of 1000$ from the site he published the book on. He was amazed when they asked for information as to where they should send the money to, that is, the information's from his bank account. He immediately went to the site and what he saw amazed him. More than 11000 people downloaded the book in less than 7 days and the number of readers was still rising. All the comments and reviews were positive with an average review at 95/100. The Director spend that entire day answering to various publishers and offers he received and ended up earning a lot of money in that day, with the promise of much more money to come.

At the end of the day, the director was still at shock and in pure disbelief at his own luck. After he had finished answering on various offers, he stormed out of his office, picked up the original papers of the book and went straight to Dragon.

The guard opened the door of the Dragon's cell and the director dismissed him, he closed the door behind him and approached the man who was sitting on the floor, looking at the other end of the small room. The dragon was apparently and as always lost in his fantasy world.

The director threw the book in the Dragon's lap, saying gladly: "Continue writing... you shall be my hen who lays golden eggs!" After saying that, the director simply left the room and the Dragon slowly took the book he wrote and started reading it.
