The young prince sighed with boredom as he pondered silly, meaningless thoughts on the hot summers day. "Life is such a bore when you never have to work" he spoke in a low tone, feeling slightly sticky from the heat and humidity. "Maid, could you please fetch me my bathing robes?" He spoke with a softness to the younger woman in a very thick, very uncomfortable looking uniform. "And when you get the chance please change out of that uniform into something far more comfortable for this distasteful day?" Yes sir" she replies formally as she begins to move towards the large stone doorway, "what scent would you like today, sir?", "lavender please" he responds in a polite but tired tone. "Very well sir" she replies with a respectful tone, knowing full well the king hated when his son smelled like a woman. She also giggled lightly at the fact that the prince bathed with these scents simply to spite his father.

I step out of the large, expensive looking tub and begin to towel myself off. The towels are made of Egyptian silks. I've always hated living in luxury while people on the streets were being attacked by wild animals and suffering terrible, fiery deaths due to the large population of rabid, insane dragons. I've always wondered why I was chosen to be the one situated at such a high position. Someone else, much more qualified for this could have been born before me to take this spot. Sadly I was an only child due to my late mothers fatal run-in with a drunken peasant who wanted nothing but to cause a disruption and create a violent scene on the street. I sigh as I finally finish toweling myself off and slip on my satin robes. I open the door to the bathing room and step into the chilled hall with a shiver running up my spine from the ice cold stone floors. So many things here were stone, why is that? I wonder to myself as I make my way to my room so that I can dress myself. I open my large wooden door to find a navy blue and black outfit laid out on my large bed and smile, "oh Elizabeth, you've always been two steps ahead of me" I say quietly.

--Maid Elizabeth--

'I'm so happy here. Well at least when I am in service to the prince' I thought to myself as I pull out an outfit for the young man to wear. I decided on an outfit most definitely fit for a royal, but also light enough so that the prince would not bake in the hot sun. It is a navy blue outfit with black detailing and stitching. This suites his fashion well, while he usually wears either this combination or an outfit with black and bright green parts to it. "Yes" I thought as I place the expensive fabric on the bed with care, "this will do just fine". I begin to head to my fairly spacious room as I hear the young prince step out of the bathroom and start off to his room. As I walk down the hall I realize that it became quite breezy, 'very odd for the inside of the castle on a summers day' I think as I step into my room and begin to search through my large walk in closet for the beautiful outfit that the young man purchased for me last summer. I find it where I expect it to be, with all of my summer clothing, and smile at its dark purple and royal blue coloring as I take it down. I step back into my room to don the surprisingly light weight outfit, considering how long an proper it looks, and as I finally complete the process I look to myself in the mirror. My face brightens as I see how pretty the dress really is in full sunlight and do a small twirl as I giggle softly. 'The prince should be finished getting dressed now' I think with a grin still on my face, 'I should check on him'. As I move towards his room I feel that the breeze is still there, leaving the hall a lukewarm temperature. I open the young princes door to find him not inside, I call out for him with no response. I notice that his window is open, most likely why the weather in the hallway was so strange. I look out onto his balcony, and without success in finding him. I look to the skies in worry and see a small black shape flying off into the distance. It looked to be a large bird, which is of no interest to me, so I head back inside to keep searching for the only heir to the throne of the planet Kohiri.

The first thing I notice is how high I am, like really REALLY high. The second thing I notice is the claws holding me up. The third thing I notice is I'm not freaking out? Why not? I'm being carried to who knows where by a DRAGON! But not an ordinary dragon, no. This one is a dark shade of purple with some equally dark blue, almost like a sunset nearing its end. Wait, why am I thinking about the color of the dragons scales and not the dragon? Aren't they all rabid monsters? Maybe there's a reason why I'm not dead yet, and maybe there's a reason why we call the red ones rabid? I don't have time to finish my thought though as the high altitude and the lack of oxygen makes me pass out.

'I stole him' I thought to myself, 'I actually did it, I stole him'. This train of thought, however, is soon ended by the sudden thrash of the young man in my claws, then the stillness of him, and finally after a little while he goes limp. "A-are you ok down there?" I ask timidly, hoping that I haven't accidentally just killed him. I receive no answer and begin to panic before he shimmies a bit in my grip, 'phew' I think as I begin to descend to my place of living. A fairly simple looking cave from the outside, but lined with computers, wires, oscillating screens, whirring machines, and multiple generators along the wall.
