#3 of Kaiju

This is part one of a short story I'm writing about my Kaiju OC, Kamoya. This particular part doesn't really have anything going on that would be deemed "adult," but future chapters (as they are currently written) will. I may go back and make the adult chapters kid friendly as well, but I don't really feel like it right now.

So, for all you kiddies out there, feel free to enjoy this part. :)

Part One - Kamoya vs. Anguirus

Waves rolled softly onto the shore of a secluded beach. The sun was high in the sky, the clouds few, and a cool breeze blew through the fruit-bearing palms. The sound of the ocean and rustling trees were not the only thing heard on the beach, for a massive creature called it her home, and she was currently bearing a special fruit of her own.

Sitting at the edge of the water, her legs stretched out in front of her, the massive Kaiju Kamoya sat relaxing, rubbing the swell of her belly with one great flipper as the other supported her from behind, cooing softly all the while. Being a turtle and reptile, eggs were simply something she had to lay, fertilized or not, and she was but a day away from emptying her womb. She sat remembering a time when she actually was pregnant and figured she could at least eat the eggs this time, so not to waste them.

As she sat and cooed to her distended tummy, she remained oblivious to the world. She closed her eyes and relaxed, too heavy to want to move and too relaxed to care. Due to her current state of mind, she didn't even notice as another Kaiju approached her.

Monster Island was not Kamoya's home alone. Oh no, it was home to many a monster, both large and small, mean and nice. Only this secluded beach was left to her, until now it seemed. This particular monster was Anguirus, a four legged dinosaur covered in spikes. His attitude was questionable at that, often picking fights with the larger monsters on the island. Being larger than Kamoya, he certainly posed a threat if he decided to get nasty.

Seeing Kamoya, her legs in the water and hand on her belly, he raised a brow. Was she pregnant? He hadn't seen her mate before. She rarely left the beach. Curious, he approached her, doing his best to keep quiet for she seemed asleep. Approaching her side, he leaned down and sniffed her belly. Her scent was certainly one of a mother, but he couldn't tell if she was actually pregnant.

As he sniffed again, he failed to notice the horn on his snout lightly touch her skin. Opening one purple eye, she looked down at him with a mix of confusion and humor. She opened her beak slightly and gave him a questioning coo, to which he responded by jumping back in surprise.

He looked around nervously, unsure what to do.

She chuckled and patted the sand next to her, inviting him to sit.

He was hesitant, unsure what to do, but she tapped the sand again, this time with a stern look on her face. He decided it best not to upset her. Though he liked to fight, he felt uneasy about potentially fighting a pregnant mother.

After sitting down, he looked to Kamoya. She smiled. Giving him another questioning coo, she rubbed her belly, as if saying "are you curious about this part of me?"

Anguirus looked away and nodded slightly.

She nodded and cooed. "I thought so." She gently lifted his front foot with her flipper, surprising him, and then set the foot on her belly. She cooed again. "Go ahead, you won't hurt me."

He swallowed nervously before rubbing her gently. Her belly was very warm, and covered in a thick shell. Though sturdy and strong, the shell was segmented in a way that allowed her belly to swell and move without discomfort. Due to her condition, the plating was spaced apart, allowing glimpses at the flesh between each segment, which almost seemed to be glowing. He growled softly. "It's warm."

She cooed to him. "Yes. My belly acts like a furnace, melting anything I eat, be it meat or metal." She chuckled. "The eggs don't help either."

He looked at her and growled. "So you are pregnant?"

She shrugged slightly. "Not quite." She rubbed her belly and cooed softly. "I'm a turtle, and every now and again, turtles lay their unused eggs. I'm simply full of unfertilized eggs right now."

He nodded, his curiousity having been cured. "Oh, that's interesting."

She agreed. "When I lay them tomorrow, you're welcome to have a few if you'd like. I usually just eat them anyway. It beats having rotten eggs."

They both chuckled softly. Anguirus nodded. "I'd like that."

The two sat quietly for a while, simply rubbing Kamoya's belly and listening to the tide. Once again, the great mother turtle closed her eyes, relaxing.

Breaking the silence, Anguirus cleared his throat. "So um...do you have a mate then?"

She gave a light smirk, her eyes remaining closed. "Is that your way of applying for the position?"

He froze. "W-what? No, I was just..."

She chuckled and opened one eye to look at him. "The answer is no, I don't have a mate. I don't actually need one either. You see, I can reproduce asexually, if need be. I already have three children, but they like to swim about under the sea or terrorize little islands."

He looked at her with surprise. "And you...made these children yourself?"

She nodded. "Yes, all by myself, right in my womb. They're the reason I came to Monster Island. I needed to nest, and where I was before wasn't quite right. I'm lucky a big monster like you didn't show up to stop me or steal my eggs."

He looked away. "I'm not as big as Godzilla."

She rolled her eyes. "Oh, don't compare yourself to him. You're your own monster. Just because he thinks himself king, doesn't mean he is."

He nodded. "I suppose you're right."

"Perhaps you'd like to fight with me?"

He was taken aback by the question. "What? In your state?"

She nodded and then patted her belly. "This armor isn't just for show. I can deflect tank fire with it, and more."

He seemed uncertain. "I don't know. I don't want to hurt you."

She pulled her legs towards herself and forced her massive body onto her feet with a grunt. Using her long tail as a counterbalance, she steadied herself upright and took a battle stance, her legs spread and arms in front of her. "Fight me Anguirus, unless you're afraid of getting beaten by a fat turtle like me."

He sat there for a moment, wondering what to do, and then smiled. "Alright, you're on." Getting to all fours, he roared at her. In response, she roared back.

Wanting to see just what she can do, she let her make the first move. Lumbering towards him, she lifted one of her massive legs and kicked at him. He dodged the move, smirking at his evasiveness, only to watch her turn around and slap him with her paddle-like tail, knocking him onto his side.

"Don't get cocky Anguirus."

He rolled to his feet and nodded. "Alright then, so be it." Looking at her spread legs, he charged between them and then used his head to hit her groin, throwing her into the air. He turned to watch her as she tumbled to the ground. Seeing her down, he crouched down and then sprang backwards towards her, hoping to hit her with his spikey back.

Seeing him coming, she turned to her other side, feeling him make contact with her armored back. Getting back up on her feet after the failed attack, she turned to face him and inhaled deeply. Her already large belly began to swell to a massive size and glow like molten metal before collapsing as she exhaled hot flames onto Anguirus.

Feeling his skin burn, he jumped to his feet and ran to the ocean, diving in to cool his body. Kamoya stood behind and laughed at him, holding a flipper to her beak. Lost in her laughter, she almost failed to notice a now soaking wet Anguirus charging at her at full speed. Getting out of the way just in time, she lifted a massive leg and kicked him to the ground. "Charging at me while I'm distracted? How unkind."

Attempting to get to his feet, he growled. "It's a fight, that happ-"

He was cut off as she leaned down and picked him up with her powerful flippers. "I'm going to have to teach you a lesson now." Once he was lifted off the ground, she fell back on her rump, forcing him to rest on her lap.

He growled in confusion. "W-what is this?"

She smirked as she forced his tail up with her flipper. "Your defeat." With him confused and with a lifted tail, she swung her own paddle-like tail around and smacked him on the butt.

He yowled from the hit, more form embarrassment than actual pain. "Ah! What is this? Stop it!" He tried to run, but the force of her arms holding him down was too much.

"Just sit there and take it Anguirus. You need to learn from your mistake." Once more she smacked his rump with her tail.

He continued to yowl, but to no avail. There would be no rescue from his punishment.

Over and over she smacked her tail onto his butt, until eventually it began to redden. Finally, Anguirus began to cry. "Please, stop, I'm sorry! I got angry and forgot this was all for fun, so I attacked you while you were distracted!"

Hearing him more or less admit defeat, she stopped. Using her flippers, she hugged him close and pet his head. "There there, it's okay. I'm done now." She leaned down and nuzzled him. "Alright?"

He nodded. "Yes Kamoya."

She smiled at him. "Good. You fought well."

He smiled back. "You too." Able to move, he scooted back a bit so only his front rested on her muscled thighs, turning his head to rest on her belly.

For a while they sat like that on the beach, him resting on her lap and belly, her petting his head. Both of them closed their eyes and relaxed, Kamoya eventually cooing to both her belly and Anguirus like she was before he arrived.

After a time, the sun set below the horizon, the two monsters sleeping in that very position. This was a good day, and perhaps the next day would be just as fun.
