#24 of Chronicles of FinalGamer 24 - Midline Shift

A long-standing feud finally comes to an end as Dahnus Drumarien feels the days turn better for this week, despite a rather unusual amount of activity coming from Investigations to the point that even his own friend Davis is becoming embroiled by it.

One can only hope to enjoy the eye of the storm before the whirlwind of chaos comes rolling in once more, as Dahnus soon finds out the next few days after.

For the following week, Dahnus had an immense amount of paperwork moreso than usual to catalogue for his monthly reports. They mainly dealt with incidents, altercations or unusual events worth noting in his sector, even the ones not reported by him. As a senior officer of Enforcement, he had a greater note of authority over most of the other officers that worked in his sector, meaning that all of them reported to either him or the three other superiors they had for referral. Several noted thefts in the area including that of a clothing store and a cafe; an assault in a mall that stemmed from a failed theft attempt; two unidentified vehicles that had been left unattended and were therefore regarded as suspicious; a bomb threat that eventually turned out to be a prank call in poor taste; and lastly the gang of miscreants whom Dahnus had investigated thanks to the thief he caught last week. The operation to capture them went surprisingly well, with Dahnus having been a part of the breach operation as advisor after capturing all 20 of them, three of which were badly wounded. It was a shambles in terms of the criminals, horribly unprepared in dealing with a police force and more just a scrapped together gang of miscreants rather than a serious gang. But nevertheless they had racked up a hefty charge of grand theft for how much they stole altogether, and a few were certainly more than resistant with bladed weapons that would get them a good amount of jailtime. He noticed however that a great amount of activity was coming from Investigations, his friend Davis having become more and more secluded than usual. After the reveal of what he told Dahnus last week, the turian became worried for his friend's health wondering if the case was now getting to him. The detectives all clammed up as per usual, not wanting anything to possibly leak out and having kept a much tighter lip on things than was expected of them. But he never let himself be curious, simply working on his own ends and just hoping that Greg would open up to him at some point.

Not that he truly wanted to know all the details of a case he was not part of for he felt that he became a liability if he were. Nevertheless he was worried by the fact that he was now part of what was to be the first of many killings, down in his sector. But things only became even more mysterious when two senior turian detectives came into his office, marked by green and red stripes on their chins. "Dahnus Drumarien?" asked the green. "Yes?" "Kirus Cadenium, Investigations, this is my partner Haron Kirax. We'd like to ask you a few questions regarding a certain case you processed." "And which case is that?" "Case seven-one-three, section five-alpha." He struggled not to roll his eyes and flicked through his database of case processing, the terminal reeling through various orange bars until one lit up. He wished that the detectives used actual names rather than just obtuse numbers as the case rolled up, revealing its data on screen briefly to remind Dahnus. "Ahhh...yes, James Campbell." "Indeed," said Haron in red, "we would like to access this data if you please." "...and why is that? Has he gotten into trouble?" "Possibly. But that's not important right now." "Forgive me sir but I feel it is, why is it necessary to examine this case?" "That is not for you to know until we have all the data we need. Once we investigate all possible sources, then we may reveal what we need to know." "I was the one that processed him," debated Dahnus, "I would like to be kept in the loop about this. Has Mr. Campbell committed any crimes?" "Not...as far as we know, no." "Has Mr. Campbell become associated with any gangs or criminals?" "No." "Then...why do you wish to investigate him?" "We simply want to ask him a few questions is all." "Then I cannot help you." "What?" "Mr. Campbell was last seen around the Zakera Ward, if you wish to contact him then you should go contact the Zakera branch. I simply processed him." "Nevertheless we would like to have his file for the sake of clari-" "No. Not until you explain to me what relevance it has." "You-" "Forget it," said Kirus in green, "we'll go to Zakera Ward and hopefully speak to someone who's much more cooperative than this bareface." "Excuse me?" said Dahnus. "You don't trust us Drumarien? Why?" "Because I don't like being kept in the dark, especially by someone who just called me barefaced." "I didn't make that choice for you, did I? A real officer would have the face of trustworthiness, a mark of clan and origin to show that they come from somewhere, a true place of origin by their code and family. Not some vagrant like you who masks his face by not marking it." "I have my reasons, none of which are your business." "Just as our reasons for having this case file are none of yours." "Mr. Campbell as far as I know has done nothing wrong and you have shown nothing to prove that he has to me. Now unless you show evidence that he is somehow connected to some crime committed, I shall refuse to provide you with confidential information." "I outrank you you son of a bitch!" "Then whine to your superior, unless Miss Aila doesn't know about your inquiry." "She knows plenty enough!" said Haron. "If you keep denying us we'll pull your ass for insubordination! Now give us the damn file!" "No." "LISTEN YOU!" roared Kirus. "You might have fooled all the other humans and asari out there, but C-Sec started out as a damn Turian operation and were it run better we wouldn't have allowed people like you in! So unless you wanna see your bare face shining out on the streets working at a bar grill, you WILL cooperate!"

"...I don't have to take this offence from you," said Dahnus coolly whilst leaning back. "You have given me no reason to hand over this confidential case file, you belittle and insult me by my appearance despite having worked here for the last twenty years, and for what? So you could practice your bad cop routine?" "You want me to play bad cop, because I will if I have to." "Don't try to bully me, please, it's demeaning." "You don't got anything to lay back on Drumarien, you've got no past records, nothing on Palaven, no family records, you're even more of a damn bareface than fucking Saren Arterius, least we knew what he was doing-" "Don't...ever..." Dahnus stood up with both hands planting down on his armrests, rising out of his chair. "Compare me with a damn terrorist." "Then prove you're an officer...by cooperating with your allies." "I am proving...by not giving you information that is private and adhering to someone of the public. If you give me authorisation from your superior, then I will hand you the case file with my apologies. Until then, please leave my office so that I may file a complaint to the way I was treated by my two allies." "...fuckin' biotic prick, fine, Haron let's go, we'll get back here with some damn authorisation." "Yes sir," said Haron. "Mind the crack in the floor!" said Dahnus to them leaving, "I still need someone to fix that! ...still has some guy's teeth in it, practically starting to grow mold by this point...can human teeth even do that I dunno..." With the two forceful detectives now left from his room, he sat back down and went back to work, checking over briefly the file on James Campbell before returning to his reports. As he scrolled briefly back up in order to exit his case records, one of them caught his eye with a number he recognised well. He briefly flicked it open out of plain curiosity to see nothing but a blurry video of a female turian running from the scene, before flicking it back away with a sigh of pittance. "Having a hard time with Dumb and Dumber?" The voice from the doorway was his friend Greg Davis, leaning against the wall and smirking as he walked in. "I heard the argument, you got some balls man." "I'm sorry for causing an obstruction to your department." "It's fine, they're assholes anyway. What were they here for?" "Some case I processed they wanted to know about, but they wouldn't tell me if the transient had committed a crime or not." "Transient? Really, which one?" "James Campbell." "...the dinosaur dude?" "Yeah." "...why the hell would they want him for?" "I don't know, but until they tell me what they know I'm not giving." "What was the case file number on this guy?" "Seven-one-three, five-alpha."

Davis' face suddenly blanched with eyes bulging out intensely for just a moment. Dahnus scowled slightly at seeing his friend try not to panic, a brief but failing moment of the detective's attempt to not look suspicious. "Sounds uh...basic as anything to me." "What did he do?" "Huh?" "What has he done?" "Nothing, he hasn't done anything!" "I know you Davis, I know when you're lying about something even moreso than I knew before. ...is this to do with the Investigations department closing up?" "No." "Right, glad you didn't say 'I'm not at liberty to say' because that just means yes." "I dunno what you're talking about Dahnny." "Don't call me that." "Sorry," said Greg. "Just answer me this then. Has James Campbell actually committed a crime?" "As far as we are aware of, no he hasn't...at least, related to any current events." "What?" "Look, my department is all shaken up about something, we got a big conflict going on so right now I can't say anything so just do your stuff and hopefully nothing'll cross paths with you. Kirus and Haron won't be able to get authorisation for this anyway and I'd rather not involve more people into this. Trust me, it's safer that you stay ignorant." "...alright then," said Dahnus cautiously. "I hope it clears out for the better later on." "I hope so too, anyways uh I do need something actually." "What?" "Do you have the report on that jewellery thief, that asari lady from a while back with the white gloves? I need to refer to that again cuz I think there's a copycat or an admirer running around." "Alright, she's still in jail after all so..." Dahnus found the report for him and made a copy to his omni-tool, letting Davis head back to work. More disputes arose, more people were sent to him to talk things out, Haron and Kirus never came back to bother him so he assumed that their attempts had failed. He walked his beat, he settled scores, he went home to his family. So long as nothing monumentous happened in his day, he was happy. But at the same time staying home for too long let him dwell too much on things. Days went by slowly. He occasionally relooked at the old file on the female turian, a ghostly image but one he certainly recognised. He tried to resist but the urge of curiosity always took him easily, making him sigh with remorse as he managed always to snap back to work. Eventually, a bigger confrontation came at hand, one that he always hoped would never come. Whilst out on his usual beat, a huge fight came from the direction of the sushi bar as the sounds of screaming and clattered tables went shattering the high street's atmosphere.

Heading straight over, he found something that he always feared would happen. The two human rivals had finally come to blows, and were immediately fighting each other with cleavers in hand ready to bury the hatchet. Straight into the other's neck. People ran screaming from the sushi bar as the Korean and the Japanese businessmen went violently at each other, grabbing each other's arms whilst trying to swing their huge cleavers against the other's face. Mr. Park went swinging down low trying to kick out his rival's feet, slashing downwards as he went screaming insults, his short black hair beset only by a rather tanned complexion and crow's feet eyes. Mr. Nakamura was older and much more wrinkled, but at the same time rather lithe in his movements despite a husky potbelly, slashing his blade out left and right before they grabbed the other's arm, blocking each other before snarling at each other's faces. He was glad that even human languages had some things that were untranslatable, as he heard the two screaming out their fiercest of insults. "JJOKBARI!" "GOKIBURI!" "GESEKI, GGEO-JYEO!" "KUTABARE!" "WHAT'S GOING ON?!" roared Dahnus. "HE STOLE MY PLATES!" screamed Mr. Park. "FUCKING WAE-GU PRICK!" "SHUT UP!" shouted Nakamura. "CHOSENJIN!" "JOKKAH JI MAH!" "THAT'S ENOUGH!" Dahnus forced the two apart with his biotic field and spread them both apart with a barrier, glowing a dark blue from his energy around him as his hands spread out towards both of them. The two were separated and forced to struggle in mid-air pointlessly, not even able to throw their knives at each other as the turian clearly now saw the wounds that had been inflicted upon each other. The day had come at least when blood spilt across the sushi bars. "I warned you two that if there was blood you both would be going down. If you two can't settle your differences rationally then I'm arresting you both for assault and affray. You are both entitled to a lawyer that the Citadel will grant you, and you do not have to say anything but be warned that anything you say from here on may be used as evidence against you. Do you understand?" "NO, ARREST HIM!" roared Nakamura. "HE STARTED IT!" "JJOKBARI YOU STARTED IT!" shouted Park. "KIMUCHI-YARO!" "ENOUGH!" The turian police officer shuddered with a violent energy, sending chairs flying away to crack against the walls in shards of plastic. Cutlery skittered across the floor and tables hurled themselves to clear a space for the exit. "I...am not having this argument again. Both of you are coming down to the station and if I hear one more word in English, Korean or Japanese from either of you, I will make you very sorry you ever started this. Is that clear?"

The two men nodded calmly now terrified of the C-Sec officer's power, who walked over forcing them to drop their blades and cuffed them both separately. Requesting transport to take them back to the station, he went to investigate the surrounding area for any eyewitnesses, the most reliable being that of Mr. Dreen and the American vendor Dombrowski. Usually he had a rivalry with Nakamura, but it was more playful than the one between him and Park. The blonde beef-armed caucasian simply gave what he saw. "Yeah I saw it happen, Park went fucking crazy after him and went demanding about his plates." "So was it Park that started it?" asked Drumarien. "Nah, he didn't start the fight, least he wasn't the one that tried stabbing him...well, cutting more like since they had cleavers, Nakamura started brandishing his like a damn hatchet and just finally had enough." "So Nakamura made the first blow." "Well that's the thing, he came forwards like he was threatening to cut down Park, but Park already had his own cleaver out and then he raised his! You'd think after a hundred years they'd move on." "Really? What's the real reason for their rivalry, do you know?" "Honestly, I don't think it's that much to do with their culture, I think it's more like they had a bad start and they're both too damn proud to admit their own faults. This is just two guys too old to back out of the game trying to pick a fight to see who's better, there's nothing history-wise about it. Trust me I'd know, you can tell when it's something actually racial if you're a human." "I see...how did this start?" "I think Nakamura started it," said Dombrowski, "said that Park's stuff was not bad for Korean food, so Park said he'd seen better sushi in America, that's how I got involved. But me and Nakamura are kinda friendly about it, we have little competitions to see who has the best fish, the best seasonings and whatnot, we make it playful. It didn't get serious between those two until his watch got broken." "Watch?" "Nakamura's watch, he always had it on him and one day it slips off right under Park's feet. Crushes it, cheap-ass thing but Nakamura bought that thing years ago with his first paycheck. Kinda sentimental to him, so it all kicked off from there. Park didn't mean anything by it but the moment he got accused he starts flying off the handle with the insults." "Alright...off the handle, what handle?" "Yeah, like, he just-um...no, I mean he became angry all of a sudden and doesn't hold back." "Ahhh right..." "I know, human sayings, kinda weird." "Not any weirder than the rest of the galaxy. I think that's all I need then." "Are they gonna get charged?" "Only if they keep making charges to each other, plus public assault is kind of hard to ignore. Do they have workers able to cover their shifts?" "Oh yeah they got some kids in the back, they'll be fine, if not the stores can always close down for a day or two, they get enough income to cover it." "Alright then, thank you Mr. Dombrowski." "No prob, and uh hey...word of advice?" "Hmm?" "Threaten them by taking their titles away." "Well, they WILL be taken from them, if this gets far enough that they don't get back to their jobs." "No I mean like...mentally, take their power away from them, disarm them, make them feel small and call them by their first names, familiarise with them. They're all about swagger and authority so if you take that away from them and treat them not as sirs but as regular guys, their shield'll drop fast and you can get right into the heart of the matter." "Hmmm...how do you know that?" "My dad was a psychology professor at Ohio State. Kinda picked up a few ideas. Park's plates are very sentimental to him too...you might be able to find some common ground if you focus on that." "Alright, thank you for the advice, I'll see what happens. You have a good day."

Returning back to HQ he was ready for the confrontation. The big confrontation of a long time coming that he had been waiting for to happen. There had even been a betting pool at one point amongst fellow officers for who would crack first, "The Brawl In The Sushi Bar" as they would call it. Now however Dahnus was more focused on settling this once and for all, hoping that he would never have to deal with these two ever again. Taking them into his office with a barrier turned on behind them, he had both of them sit with the usual setup of recorder and polygraph at both of them. "C-Sec log M4-530785, officer Dahnus Drumarien reporting. Interview begins at...15:30 Citadel Time. Please state your full name, species and occupation. We'll start alphabetically by family name." "My name is Nakamura Keigo, I am a human who owns the Nakamura Sushi bar." "And now you." "Park Dong-Hyun, human, I own the Park's Cuisine bar." "Good. Now, both of you have been brought in owing a confrontation between both of you at Nakamura's bar." "BUT HE-" "LET...me...finish. I know both of you have been rivals for a long time now, but I expected both of you to be better about yourselves and not have it come to this. Frankly I'm disappointed in both of you, Keigo, Dong-Hyun, you are both in your 60s, you should be setting a better example to tomorrow's generation and not bickering like schoolchildren in a fight. For the time being we will first sort out who started the fight, and why was the fight started. Now I know that Dong-Hyun, you first went around to Keigo's establishment to demand your plates back." "Yes, he took them from me." "I DIDN'T-" "Keigo please," interrupted Dahnus, "you can speak when Dong-Hyun is finished talking." "B-but-" The turian glared at him like a teacher would to a child, forcing him to stop talking as he allowed Park to continue. "You can speak first since you began the confrontation. Please, tell me what happened." "I went round to his place," began Park, "I ask where are my plates, where the hell did you take them?! He says that he never took them!" "Could you have possibly mislaid your plates?" "No! I always put them in the same cupboard top-left, then I put them down on the tables and take them back when I'm finished! But then someone ordered, I come back when they're done, he leaves and the plates are gone!" "Wait, who was the person that ordered?" "One of Keigo's workers, he came to my restaurant asking to sample my food!" "So it was not Keigo himself." "Well...n-no! But it was one of his staff, I recognised too late who that guy was, it was one of his workers coming to steal my plates for him, I saw him run off carrying something in his coat!" "I NEVER DID THAT!" roared Nakamura. "WHY THE HELL WOULD I WANT YOUR PLATES, MINE ARE BETTER!" "SHUT UP WAE-GU!"

"STOP IT!" said Dahnus groaning. "So...one of Keigo's staff came, and you believe he took your plates." "Yes," said Park. "It was definitely one of them." "Alright, now Keigo your turn. Dong-Hyun if you interrupt then I'll severely reprimand you, you had your chance to talk so you say nothing. Now, Keigo please tell me what happened." "I was working like usual," said Nakamura, "when this gokiburi comes in screaming about his damn plates, I never saw the things in my whole life, I don't want anything to do with his crap!" "Alright, then what happened?" "He had his cleaver on him and he was screaming at me to give back his plates. Stupid ass he is scaring off my customers." "Did he have his cleaver raised up? I want you to be honest with me or else." "...no...he had the cleaver in his hand but not raised up. I raised mine up first, brandishing it like shaking it at him, telling him to get the hell out." "And then what happened?" "He refused and I come striding up to him and tried to scare him off, little chosenjin punk he is-" "Alright stop. I know I may not be a human but both of you please refrain from racial insults. You're both grown capable men and there is no need to resort to that kind of filth, you're better than that, both of you. Understand?" "But he-" "BOTH of you, understand?" "...alright. HE didn't run off like I thought he would and just raised his cleaver at me, and then...we both grabbed each other's arms and started fighting, one of us cut the other I can't remember but once we saw blood...we just started going crazy!" "So you don't know who landed the first blow." "No...I don't remember." "Dong-Hyun, do you remember?" "I...I-I dunno!" cried Park. "I mean, that...sounds pretty right what he said, except him lying about my plates not being there!" "I don't have your damn plates!" shouted Nakamura. "I have my own plates, why the hell do I want them?!" "BECAUSE THEY'RE MINE! I HAD THOSE THE FIRST DAY I OPENED MY RESTAURANT, MY SISTER BOUGHT THEM, THOSE ARE SPECIAL TO ME!" "SO WAS MY WATCH YOU DUMB SHIT AND YOU NEVER APOLOGISED!" "I WOULD HAVE! IF YOU HAD GIVEN ME A CHANCE YOU IDIOT!" The Korean was first to break, sighing and putting his face in his hands as he struggled not to weep, trying to save face in front of his archenemy. "I need those plates back...my sister bought them for me, they're the only thing I have left of her...please...just give them back." "I'm...I'm sorry Dong-Hyun. I don't have them." "But I saw one of your staff WITH THEM!" "Who then?! Tell me who it was, I'll find out for you!" "The...fuck is his name, the one who talks funny!" "...Robinson?" "YES, HIM!" "The English guy? ...you're sure it was him?" "Yes, absolutely." "...officer."

Dahnus looked straight towards Nakamura upon hearing his next words. "I wish to report a thief in my staff. His name is Johnny Robinson." "Are you certain?" "Yes, I understand now. He has been under suspicion for a while, stuff has gone missing from my restaurant and from customers too. Stuff I know not even Park could have taken, so this is the last straw. Park?" "Y-yeah?" "...I'm going to catch this damn thief and getting your damn plates back." "You will?!" "I swear. That yabo's been dodging me for weeks so now I got him where I want him. Officer, I apologise on behalf of me and Mr. Park for all of this, will you help me catch this thief?" "I'll be glad to," said Dahnus. "So long as both of you stop this fighting." "I don't want to fight anymore. I just want to make sushi." "Good." "...I'm sorry about your watch," murmured Park. "Hmm?" "I'm sorry Keigo. I didn't mean it, it was an accident. Can I buy you a new one? Any you want." "If you want to," said Nakamura. "No no I insist. To make up for my accusations before." "...okay, I would like that thank you." The two shook hands for the first time in months, as Dahnus smiled to himself with relief at having finally repaired a rift between two people of his street. Now all he had to do was catch the thief responsible for keeping them apart. It was a joke honestly, the young English thief having tried to grab all his luck by pilfering the entire cutlery supply in hopes of selling the metals, but he took too much and found himself running with a heavy bag. By the time Dahnus had returned with both Park and Nakamura, he was only halfway out the storefront when he saw his boss screaming with fury. Robinson immediately dumped his spoils and ran, until Dombrowski nearby bodytackled him hard to the ground and sat on him easily to stop him from moving. Park had his plates returned to him, he insisted on buying Keigo a new watch which in this day and age was redundant due to omni-tools but nevertheless a sign of friendship, and Robinson was jailed. It didn't take long for him to crack and reveal who he had sold his past steals to, allowing Dahnus to request Investigations to send out a squad that dealt specifically with retrieving stolen items. Dahnus put down his case report for the day with a hearty smile, closing the chapter on a feud that was finally over. Hopefully. His personal joy carried over into the home as well, spending the nights with his son and wife playing games until Jarren got tired and was put to bed. For the rest of the night ahead, Dahnus and Shara curled up on the sofa together, dressing down in their casual clothes of blue upon lighter blue, watching a movie they had already seen five times before, an explosive action movie about an asari trying to avenge her family's business from mobsters. The movie was at their favourite part especially, the long chase across the city shot in real-time across traffic, dockyards and commercial districts. In that order.

"This part's fantastic," said Shara, "whoever did the running stunts is a real professional." "Definitely," said Dahnus, "that asari's fantastic to be able to do that without biotics." "You must admit it feels good to chase a perp." "One of the best parts of the job. Good exercise too, makes sure you don't grow old and fat." "Getting too many donuts as the humans say." "I still don't understand what they mean by that...I mean, why donuts, there's other foods as well." "Hmhmhm...I'm sorry I never asked you about your day." "It was...amazing. I finally made peace between two sushi bars." "No...really?!" "Mmhmm, finally got them to settle their differences." "Spirits I cannot believe it, I thought that would never happen before you retired." "...calm down there ma'am I'm not retiring for years." "Hahahaha, awwww home life too boring for you?" "Not yet...but..." He slid his arm around her shoulders and pulled her in close for a kiss. "There's always ways to keep things hot." "Ohhhh...so that's your game is it? First you butter me up with a movie now this?" "I should say the same for you Miss Shara." Planting his mouth upon her neck, he suckled her lovingly down towards her shoulder to make her moan, biting lightly just enough to pinch the skin and send a shiver of lust throughout her body. Shara caressed his head, stroking along the crested back and pulling him close as he kissed back up to her lips, moaning as their mouths locked together. Tongues coiled around each other slightly, briefly in their misty breaths, hot and moist from their teeth as their noses rubbed softly. Shara however paused him briefly to say: "I have something special for you." "Hmm?" "Remember...I told you about putting my old gun to good use?" "Mmhmm?" "Well..." She stood up and went over to where her handbag was, pulling out two metallic pendants with bells the size of thumbs on the end of them. She put one on herself, before giving the other to Dahnus, who simply smiled with wonder at the adorable little tingling sound it made, putting it around his neck eagerly. "They're made from my gun," said Shara, "I decided it would be a good idea to turn a weapon into something...special." "...this is beautiful." "I thought you would like it, one for you, and one for me." "Thank you Shara...this is wonderful...though this might be a hindrance while undercover." "Then take it off when on duty, it's yours now. Just a token of my love since I know you love the sound of bells." "I do...thank you."

He kissed her upon the lips once more as she pulled herself into his embrace. Grasping her husband tightly against her lighter body, his tongue breathed upon her neck, shuddering into small biting nips that drove her wild with panting breaths just the way she loved it. The sweet tinkling of bells softly fluttered against their ears as Shara positioned herself underneath of Dahnus, watching him climb on top of her whilst kissing each other still, even when Dahnus asked politely. "And how was your day?" "Mmmmm not bad," said Shara softly, "not as exciting as you but...I did manage to stop some teenage girl from trying to steal at the clothing store." "Ohhh?" "Mmhmm...silly girl, made it so obvious with her big handbag that she was going to stuff a dress in there. Naturally I felt it was my duty as a law-abiding citizen to stop her." "And?" "...maybe give her some life advice on how not to be obvious about it." "...Shara." "I'm joking, obviously I told her to not try again and be responsible about purchasing instead. I daresay you're rubbing off on me...not getting as many deals as I want now on things...tricking cashiers can only go so far." "Well...I'm glad you had a good day as well." "Oh...not yet." She slowly took one of Dahnus' hands and pulled it towards her crotch, her clothes rustling underneath his. "But I think it's going to get a lot better." He smiled warmly as he began to grope her, fingering just into the developing camel toe that made her gasp into his throat. He swallowed her breath gladly, feeding her his own in return as he pushed his finger against the cloth further. She whimpered softly, her eyes softening up at him as a growing plea came before them. She simply nodded as Dahnus slowly began to undo his pants, shifting them down his hips and revealing a growing turian erection before her. The body of a turian was rather bony in comparison to say a human, all thin limbs and a pseudo-metallic skin that resembled some sort of alien tree in its lithe proportions. Sprouting between his long legs was a blue pulsating cock, a slender 6 inches that formed from a ball-less slit rather similar to a reptile's. Shara pulled down her pants in turn to reveal her own slit, a quivering dark blue entry with moist inner walls. She spread it before him, letting him gaze upon her beauty before slowly moving himself on top of her, and sliding his hips upwards. Within moments his cock found her slit, flowering like a blue rose before he plunged smoothly into her, gasps of bliss coming from the female as he kissed much deeper than before, diving his tongue deep into her maw as she sucked greedily upon it. Her hips bucked against his as he pushed all the way in, gasping breaths mixing together within their mouths as he thrusted to the very hilt. Every push he made, every suckle of her hot walls against his glistening member, sent rifts of pleasure throughout both their bodies, the bells on their necks ringing with joy.

His hips grinded harder, her legs reached up behind him and pulled him close, wanting his body against her, all of it against her as he began to pick up the pace. His kisses turned more passionate, his groans turned more vicious, her wincing became more pleasurable as they struggled not to cry out. Droplets of pre spilled out from both of them, between her legs everytime he pulled out just before he slipped right back in to feel every single layer of her vulval tunnel squeeze around his dick, begging to milk him as Shara squeaked: "D-...Dahnus...hhhh...hoh...s-spirits...hah!" "Ohhhh Shara I've missed this...mmmph...ohhhh...so close...hhuuuh..." "P-pull out...please...let me...ohh..." The turian officer was more pent-up than he expected to be, sliding out when he was almost certain that he was about to finish, holding himself back with utmost restraint as he offered his cock towards his wife. Shara breathed hotly upon the glistening flesh before swallowing it whole, gulping with a tight firm mouth as Dahnus bit his lip, grunting hard with a stifle in his throat as his seed poured out. She swallowed plenty, drinking every single drop with a look of love on her face, smirking sweetly. "Hmhmhmhm...glkk...hhhhh...I'm glad we found time again to do that." "I'm glad too," said Dahnus softly. "Hmmmmm...sorry I've been so busy lately." "That's alright...long as you don't go finding some other girl to chase and fall in love with we'll be just...fine." She grabbed his cock sternly at that pause, with a tight squeeze to warn him teasingly which made him chuckle stiffly, sighing the moment she let go as she giggled back at him. Gently putting their pants back on, the couple headed up to bed once the movie was over, sleeping off the night with their bell pendants in their separate drawers. For the most part, the week had gone exceptionally well for Dahnus compared to most other weeks of his career. But from this point onwards, his entire career would take a spiral through darkness. And it all began with a simple phone call at 2am. One that Dahnus wished never to have gotten the moment he woke up from sleep, tired and groggy as he picked up the transceiver. "Drumarien.........what? ...alright, I'll be right over." He swiftly hopped out of bed whilst Shara moaned to herself, becoming more alert to something happening as she saw her husband getting dressed. "Whut's happened?" "Something involving a case I processed, don't wait up." "Nnnngh really? How bad?" "...probably see you in the morning." "Dammit alright...mmmm be careful okay?" "I will...goodnight." He kissed her on the lips and let her fall back to sleep, before heading out the house quietly to not wake his son and started up the shuttle vehicle. He hadn't had a call this late in almost a year, but this case was far too important to ignore. A case that he would never forget.
