Sammy's Night Out.

The fifteen year old rabbit was out on his nightly walk, wearing his usual attire of thick soled knee high boots, tight leather mini skirt, tight shirt and many other things. He had his mp3 player on and tucked into one of the small pockets in his skirt, the small earphones in his ears as he walked down the street, a few blocks from where he lived with his boyfriend, Tiger.

He walked past several tree's lost in thought, having found out he was adopted. Well sort of anyway, his brothers weren't his brothers but were instead only adopted brothers. His parent's had died when he was only three and Adalaire had found him lying in the house when he was delivering a book there. He had then taken Sammy home with him and raised him until now.

Sammy looked up now, and noticed he was further than he thought he was. He looked to the left and saw a lot of trees, and the same as he looked to the right.

"Hmm...Well I know I was walking in a straight line so.." he turned around and looked dead at a person that was behind him, dressed up as a Jester. He let out a small scream and jumped back, stumbling on his boots and falling down on his ass.

"Oh I'm quite sorry, little boy. Did I scare you?" The jester said, his voice light and playful. Sammy nodded and got back up, straightening out his skirt and glaring at the Jester.

"What do you think? If I showed up behind you and you turned around and saw me, and fell like I did." He mumbled, crossing his arms, his nose twitching irritatedly. He looked at the Jester again and noticed he was a green and red Lemur. He tilted his head.

"What's your name, Jester?" He asked, unfolding his arms.

"Hah, my name is of no concern, I am merely here to ...tell you that you must avoid the new moon this month. Very odd it is, with bells and diamonds." He said and turned, sliding his thick long tail along my face and disappearing. He rubbed his cheek softly and cocked an eyebrow. What could the Jester have meant by bells and diamonds? Sammy sighed and shook his head, and he began to walk back the way he came.

The wind began to blow gently, and it was a nice warm breeze. Sammy smiled a little, his red hair being ruffled slightly as he walked and he ran a paw through it gently, also twitching his ears as he rubbed the base of his right one, the one he had pierced several times. I churred gently and let go of the ear and he became lost in thought now, rolling the Jester's words through his mind. He stopped suddely and turned back, to see the jester again.

"Why are you following me?" He asked. The jester bowed and danced a little, then walked up to Sammy.

"Don't you see?" He asked in that voice. Sammy only tilted his head curiously.

"Diamonds and bells. Bells and Diamonds. Sun and moon, moon and stars. Beware the beast! Beware the mirrored dragon!" He said loudly, and Sammy stepped back, becoming frightened.

"Sh-Shut up!" He said, and began to walk quickly away from the Jester, shaking slightly. But the Jester did not give up, he chased after Sammy now.

The rabbit looked back and saw the Jester coming at him and he began to run, easily getting away due to his sprinting. He was a rabbit after all, speed was his nature. The Jester disappeared with a laugh and Sammy kept running, hoping he was going the right way back to his boyfriends, heart racing and adreniline pumping. He wasn't paying attention to where he was going though, and he stopped after a little while, looking around and panting, bending slightly with his paws on his knee's as he caught his breath slowly.

"Where...am I now?" He said, looking around and standing up straight. He held a paw to his heart as he continued to pant and he stepped back a little. He had somehow managed to ru n into a huge area of trees. He looked back the way he came and could only see more and more trees. He held down the lump in his throat as he became more and more scared now and he looked up at the sky, the moon almost full.

"Three nights.." He said softly and looked back at the woods and began to walk. He kept an ear out, listening to the sounds of the woods, hoping like mad that someone or something wouldn't jump out and attack him. The night bugs were buzzing loudly and he kept having to swat mosquitos and other biting bugs out of his way constantly. It seemed like hours had passed and he exited out of the woods with a happy sigh of relief. He looked around and saw he was in a huge clearing and he smiled. He knew where he was now and he began to walk to the east of where he was. He didn't let down his guard though, something could still pop out and get him.

He walked across the field, avoiding the holes that were made from burrowing animals no doubt. They were nearly invisible in the lush green grass that coated the ground, but Sammy was familiar with where they were and he dodged them easily. At the other end of the field stood the house he had been looking for and he smiled, and took off running towards it at full speed, reaching it quickly and running through the front door at a baffled tiger.

"Tiger!" He said loudly and hugged him tightly, happy to be back home.

"What's the matter, my little strawbunny?" He asked, looking at Sammy now.

"Nothing..Nothing, I'm just glad to be home." He said happily and held the tiger tight.
