#1 of Codename Havikk

My new series, and the story that has consumed all my writing time for the past months. If you're looking strictly for Yiff skip to the end. There are alot of holes in the plot

INTENTIONAL, the back story will make itself clear in the next couple of chapters :3 Hope you enjoy! Codename Havikk: ======================= The young black wolf cub whimpered gently under the rubble that was once his house. His overlarge silver eyes widened as the slab of roof hiding him was torn away, revealing a large human silhouetted against the bright blue sky. The wolf twisted and yelped as an armored hand reached down and grabbed him. "Target Alpha secured." said the human into his radio before turning his masked face to the cub. "What's your name little guy?" he asked gently. "V-V-Vicktor." stuttered the young cub, his tongue lolling awkwardly in his mouth, still not adept in speaking the human language. "Not anymore." said the soldier lifting his hand into a fist. Vicktor struggled feebly, and everything went black. ======================= A sniper lay on his stomach, prone, on the third story of the ruins that were once a financial trade building. Measuring his breaths, he stared patiently through his scope, slowly scouting the square shopping plaza, if you could call this heap of ruins that, below him. The broken store windows loomed like dead eyes in the approaching dusk. Seeing a flicker of movement he inhaled sharply, holding his breath and steadying his crosshair. He slowly let the air back out, his scope following a squirrel briefly as it dashed across the square. Recon had called in a bio-blip at his location a few minutes ago. The faulty pre-ruin radar was shoddy at best, but he knew better than to let his guard down. Taking a second to blink and moisten his eyes, he snapped to alertness quickly as a reflective gleam appeared at the right of the square. Readjusting slowly he drew a bead on the glint, pulling his eye to the scope patiently. As it reached the scope he inhaled again, prepared to fire. His cross-hair came to rest on a giant 6 foot sword standing hilt up. Terror clenched inside of him, the only sign of it in his dilated pupils. He slowly reached a paw to his ear, activating his com link. "Enemy Alpha present in my sector," he spoke. "All available teams report." He pulled his paw back to his rifle, staring at the sword, the beacon of his doom, once more. "Why are you waiting?" he asked. His fur bristled as a voice whispered into his sensitive rabbit ears. "Misery loves company." The black wolf reached down, pulling the sniper's ears back violently to reveal his throat. Reaching around with his free paw he raked his claws across the exposed fur, drenching the rubble below in vibrant red. Pulling the limp body upwards, he hurled it viciously into the wall to his right, pulverizing it. With a snarl he leapt the three stories to the ground, dashing with uncanny swiftness to his sword and slinging it into the black sheath on his back, hiding it's gleam. Lifting his nose to the wind he let loose a long howl. In the distance a squad comprised of a few marksmen (rare as the few guns left from pre-ruin were considered priceless), and several sword wielding anthros shivered at the noise, their fur bristling. Only one held her composure, a proud white wolf, staring determinedly at the horizon and flexing her claws in anticipation. She wore a chest-piece of glimmering silver plate mail, brilliant yet simple, which ran to her waist and down her arms. Her paws were covered by black leather gloves, her legs much less protected with a pair of standard issue black army pants. A hood of chain mail, welded to the back of her chest-piece, lay draped over her head, hiding her brilliant blue eyes in shadow. Not one for stealth, her fur and armor glistened brilliantly as she dashed eagerly toward the howl. ======================= The black wolf waited patiently in the first floor of a ruined department store, his sword laying across his lap. He cleaned the blood from his claws with his tongue, feral nature relishing the metallic taste of his most recent kill. Tightening the blood red sash at the rounded bottom of his swords handle he stood, once more swinging his broad, mammoth sword into it's sheath on his back. The wolf's teeth bared themselves viciously as his ears picked up the footfalls of the approaching squad. "Ten..." he thought to himself, "Never enough." Reaching behind himself he felt beneath his sword, checking the straps that secured his armor. The wolf was pure black, his matching leather armor skin tight along his sleek, muscular six foot seven inch frame. He flexed his shoulders, assuring the steel plates embedded in the armor moved unhindered. He did the same with his elbows and knees, before bending at the waist, assuring the Kevlar embedded across his chest and stomach could move freely. Satisfied, he dashed across the square, positioning himself readily at the plaza's entrance. ======================= The white wolf halted her squad a few hundred yards from the plaza's entrance. Lifting her nose in the air she picked up the scent of blood. Looking over her men she sighed, "Ten," she thought to herself, "never enough." Pulling down her hood she knelt facing them. "I'm not gonna beat around the bush," she said somberly, "Target Alpha, Codename Havikk, has been reported as sighted in this square. I need not tell you the danger that lies waiting for us there. If any support is spotted with him you are all ordered to retreat to rendezvous Bravo three clicks South. If he is alone we try to take him. Havikk is, as I'm sure you know, the rogue Wolf who has aligned himself with the human cause. Our orders are to take him alive, but don't hesitate to kill if your life is threatened. I need all our marksmen to secure elevated positions immediately. Melee will proceed through the front entrance with caution, and I will branch off in an attempt to catch him myself. Good luck boys, if we fail, it's been an honor to fight beside you." Her fellow anthros lifted two fingers to their foreheads, saluting, bowing forward, and placing them over their chests in a sign of loyalty and affection before taking to their orders. Pulling her hood back on the white wolf reached out with her mind, feeling for the consciousness of the beings around her. She sensed her ten men but nothing else. "Where are you Havikk, I've been searching far too long." she whispered, leaving on her own to find a back entrance into the square. "Rex in position." said a red fox as he lay prone in a second story window, observing the open square in front of him. "Spotter as well." said the panther next to him, scanning the grounds beneath him running distances in his head. "Sly at the ready." said the final marksman, a racoon, from the roof of a four story building. "Ground squad status?" he enquired. "Passing front gate, all clear." said the leader of the melee squad below. Sly stared down at the squad on the ground beneath him, observing as they moved to the center of the square, securing a perimeter around a large fountain in the center. "Wha'cha thinkin' Grimm?" asked a mouse to the enormous Tiger to his right. The Tiger put a hand up silencing him as he glanced about. "Grimm..." whispered the mouse this time, "Grimm... I'm... I'm..." "Quiet!" hissed the tiger as he spun left to face his comrade angrily, gasping as the mouse fell in half from his right shoulder to his left hip, blood spraying into the air. "He's here It's Havikk!" he screamed, spinning to his right just in time to see a massive sword fly like an arrow through the badger next to him, lifting him off the ground and pinning him to the fountain behind, his feet dangling a foot from the ground, lifeless. A black blur flew from the storefront directly in front of Grimm, zigging and zagging as it closed on his men. Shots rang from the rooftops as the marksmen attempted to strike the nearly invisible enemy. In moments, Havikk had closed the 100 yard gap, bringing a palm, claws outstretched, upwards toward the Tigers throat. In an instinctual move Grimm swung his sword, catching the claws of his opponent and driving them off course. Time seemed to stop as Grimm stared at the strike, watching in horror as the claws chipped away the steel of his sword, jarring his arms, and nearly breaking his wrists. Time sped up once more as Grimm was knocked down by the blow, landing flat on his back. Moving unhindered, Havikk ran the perimeter of the circular fountain, raking his deadly claws across the throats and thighs of 3 more swordsmen, severing their arteries and sending torrents of their vital fluids upwards. ======================= Rex stared in wonder from above as the fountain seemed once more to work, flinging torrents of red against the gray, ashen landscape. ======================= Before the bodies of the his three last kills could even crumble, Havikk relished in feral glee as he jumped into the chest of a large Bull. Hitting the bull feet first, he drove the large fur straight onto his back before landing with his knees straddling him and clamping his powerful jaws around his open throat. Leaping upward swiftly, Havikk nimbly dodged two more rounds, landing on his sword, still hanging the Badger from the fountain. Stomping downward he dislodged it, dodging another bullet he leapt to the ground, swinging his sword in front of him and deflecting another shot before heaving the blade sidearm toward the roof of a building in front of him. The blade rotated like the propeller of a helicopter, quickly finding its target as it lopped off Sly's head before burying itself in a cement outcropping behind him. Sly's headless body slid slowly off the edge of the roof before landing with a sickening wet thud four stories below. ======================= "God damnit Rex SHOOT THE FUCKER " yelled spotter, firing round after round at the evasive blur. Rex stared down his scope, reading Havikk's movements, guessing where he would move next and seeing the results. He was always irked when he saw trained shooters firing round after round, as if they were giving away candy. Battle could cause you to panic, but you had to know when to slow down, take a breath, and not take a shot...but score a hit. ======================= Grimm stood up quickly, shaking his head and trying to regain his composure. Putting his right paw out against the fountain to steady himself, he roared as his arm was gashed open. Jumping backward he came face to face with his attacker. "Useless now you fucking freak." taunted Havikk, dipping about to avoid both Grimm's blows and Spotter's bullets. "You're nothing but a walking fucking abomination you FUCKING ANIMAL " he roared running forward to finish the Tiger. Grimm swung his left arm up deftly, connecting with a crushing blow to the side of the wolf's head. Havikk stumbled backward slamming into the ground before rolling swiftly to his feet. "I'm also a Southpaw " roared the Tiger rushing forward and swinging again. Havikk seemed to disappear under his fist as Grimm took a swing. Immediately an excruciating pain overwhelmed the Tiger as Havikk slid his way beneath the punch and behind the Tiger efficiently severing both of his Achilles tendons with a flick of his right thumb claw. The Tiger roared in agony, crumbling to the ground, useless as Havikk had said. Havikk dashed left and right again, avoiding two more of Spotters bullets before leaping onto the Tiger's chest. As Havikk opened his maw his ears flickered as he heard something he had not before, a steady intake of breath unlike the panicked gasps from the other shooters. ======================= Rex watched, suppressing his anger and sympathetic agony as Grimm was mauled by Havikk. Holding back the urge to cheer as Grimm landed a blow, Rex swiftly gained composure again as Havikk clawed him once more, driving him to the ground. "Left," he said as Havikk dodged Spotters bullet, "Left," he said again as he wolf once more evaded, "Attack." he thought to himself taking a breath and aiming at Grimm's head pulling the trigger. The bullet soared from the second story toward the Tiger, in perfect timing to arrive just as Havikk went to pounce. Jerking his body sideways Havikk roared as the large caliber bullet shattered the armor on his shoulder, mangling the bone and sinew beneath it. Rolling off the Tiger he spun to face the building. "RUN " roared Rex at Spotter, jumping to his feet and lifting the panther with him. Dragging the panther quickly through the halls he turned a corner just in time to come face to face with the large black wolf. Havikk swung his paw, claws extended toward the Fox. Rex shoved Spotter to the side, and dodged in the opposite direction, Havikk's claws passing between them. As Havikk aligned himself for a second strike a shimmering beam made it's way down the hall, the white wolf grasping Havikk's good arm and swinging him viciously through the passage wall, debris showering the other two soldiers. The white wolf flew through the hole immediately, pursuing her prey. Rex gasped in shock as his commanders voice boomed in his head, "GRIMM IS SAFE, RUN YOU FUCKING IDIOT!" Grabbing the shocked panther once more, Rex dragged him along the hall and into plaza square. Running as fast as they could the two furs made their way to the rendezvous point. Havikk gasped in shock as he was thrown through the hall into a large adjacent room. Rolling to his feet he had no time to compose himself before he was slammed into floor, an armored wolf with piercing blue eyes straddling him. "Mayhem " he roared before bucking upward and dislodging her from his chest. Rolling sideways he leapt quickly to his feet, squaring off with the white wolf. "I've been looking for your forever." said Mayhem, a smile on her maw. "I can't believe I finally found you." "I can't believe you were stupid enough to find me." said Havikk circling her slowly, "All you freaks are the same, ignorant and stubborn." "YOU ARE ONE OF US " Mayhem roared, "How can you forget the horror these humans brought with them to this planet? I'm no more of a freak than you " "I AM A FREAK " roared Havikk back, "and if you disgusting animals had never existed to begin with, I wouldn't be cursed as I am. You've been trying to track me for the past 2 years Mayhem, and now you've succeeded in finding me. I would have let you find me sooner if I'd known you were such a pathetic excuse for a warrior. This ends now." Mayhem dodged nimbly as Havikk swung at her with his good arm. Aiming a sideways kick at his ribs she gasped as he diverted his swing backward in an instant, clamping a vice like grip on her ankle and swinging her upward into the cement ceiling, bouncing her off of it headfirst with a vicious crack. Blood pouring from her head and staining her white fur, Mayhem lay on her back staring upward in a daze. She yelped loudly as a paw closed around her throat, lifting her effortlessly and slamming her head against a nearby wall. Havikk's silver eyes were staring directly into her's as she struggled feebly against his grip. "Was it worth it?" growled Havikk as he tightened his grip, watching the life fade from her bright blue eyes. A gurgle escaped Mayhem's throat as black closed in her vision. Havikk's maw spread in a maniacal grin as her eyes slowly closed. "VICKTOR" Havikk dropped the wolf as his good paw grasped his head, a splitting pain wracking his brain. The pain subsided quickly as Havikk stared at the unconscious wolf on the ground next to him. Picking her up he clamped his jaws around her throat, readying for the kill before he stopped suddenly, letting her crumble limply at his feet. "Something's not right." he thought to himself. Havikk stood for ten minutes staring at the broken form in front of him. "Something's not right." he said again to himself as he paced slowly, "I can't end her." Terror gripped him as he heaved the wolf over his good shoulder. Pure panic radiated through his veins, as he let out a pitiful whine. He was disobeying. "I have to bring her back." he thought to himself, trembling uncontrollably. "YOU HAVE TO OBEY!" his conscious roared at him, "It hurts when we disobey!" it screamed. With every muscle in his body quivering, and his senses overcome with sheer horror, Havikk followed the scent of the fox, tracking them to the rendezvous point. Leaving her limp body where he was sure she would be found, Havikk began the run back to his master, terror in his stomach and tears running down his face. ============================================= The white wolf woke shortly after the fight, squinting her eyes in the bright sun before realizing she was being carried. Focusing her eyes she saw the black leather armor and fur of Havikk as he carried her swiftly. Too weak to do anything but breath, her revival went unnoticed by the panicking wolf beneath her. A single tear fell from her eye as she tried in vain to squeeze at his arm. Her paw giving nothing more than a twitch, she gave up in despair. She was so close to the one she'd been chasing for so long and unable to finish the task she had dedicated her life to. Her eyes drifted closed once more as her last conscious thought was a name. "Vicktor..." When she finally woke again, she found herself in the arms of the red fox Rex. As she stirred he glanced down at her worriedly. Dropping to one knee he cradled her gently, one paw under her head. "Are you alright ma'am?" he asked gently. Mayhem winced as she tried to shift her head. Reaching a paw up she felt her fur matted with a large amount of blood. "Rex," she said weakly, "Where are Grimm and Spotter?" "Ahead scouting the area for us. Spotter's untouched but Grimm is beat up pretty bad. Spotter is helping him along. They should be back in about 10 minutes." The facade of toughness she put on for her men finally crumbled. "Rex " she sobbed, stretching a paw up weakly toward his face, unable to reach him. Rex grabbed her paw in his pulling it to his face and nuzzling it gently before lowering his head and planting a kiss on her muzzle. "It's okay Luna," the fox whispered, "You're safe." "I couldn't stop him Rex." she whimpered, tears streaming down her face. "He was too strong, I never had a chance against him. I was an idiot to think I could win." "Havikk, that fucking traitor," growled Rex, "I'll kill that fucker for what he did to you." A rumbling growl left his muzzle as he stood up again, cradling the wolf gently as he walked. "Rex.." she said pausing uncertainly, "I think.... I think I need to-" "Shhh," cooed Rex, "The men are coming back." Lowering his head once more he gave her a soft lick on her cheek, before pulling her tight to his chest. Placing her head into his chest she tried to control her sobs, pretending to still be unconscious. Rex walked a few more steps before Spotter came into view down the trail waving happily. Jogging over, he smiled at Rex. "H.Q sent someone out to meet us." Rex groaned slightly, "An officer?" "Nope." said Spotter, "A medic... A really weird and good medic..." "How so?" asked Rex warily. "Take a look." said Spotter pointing. Following his finger, Rex's eyes widened as Grimm came walking around the bend, a smile on his face and his makeshift crutches over his shoulder. "What the?" stammered Rex, "How is he walking?" "Told you he was good." said Spotter stepping forward with a smile and placing a paw on Luna's head. His smile faltered slightly. "She'll be alright." he said, though it sounded more like a plea than a statement. A rustle in the woods behind them caught Rex's attention. Spinning quickly he laid Luna down gently, sliding his rifle to firing position in one fluid movement. His eye already at the scope, his crosshair came to rest on the forehead of a lean tiger in standard issue camouflage gear, a red cross printed on his helmet, and the band on his arm. The Tiger paid no attention, walking briskly to Rex and pushing his gun down before getting on both knees next to the blood-stained wolf. Placing his muzzle next to her ear he whispered, "Be still. I know you're awake. This may feel strange but it will not hurt you." Lifting her gingerly the Tiger knelt on one knee, bracing her with the other. "How many sutures will it take to close?" asked Rex, his fur bristling as the Tiger ignored him. "Did you hear me?" he asked rhetorically, "I said how many sutures?" Rex began stepping forward before Spotter placed a paw on his shoulder. "Just watch." he said simply. Rex watched, almost scoffing as the Tiger began pressing a finger at different points of Luna's body, placing a paw on her head after he finished. Rex's fur bristled once more as the large gash on Luna's head began to close, tendrils of blue energy bridging the severed skin and pulling it taught before sealing the laceration flawlessly. "How did you do that?" asked Rex, astonished. "I isolated her body's energy to the area of the wound by activating and deactivating key energy points. After that I used my own energy to jump start the receptors around the wound, activating an expedited healing process. " "Where the fuck did you learn that?" asked Rex. "I've always been able to do it." replied the Tiger, "I can just... see how people work. "You're a pure breed." said Rex, coming to the realization suddenly. "Yes." said the Tiger simply. Lowering Luna to her back he stood up, brushing the dirt from his pants. "Sorry for being so rude," he said holding out a paw, "But I need extreme focus to perform the procedure. The name's Omen." "Rex." said the fox, "And you must have already met Spotter and Grimm." "Sure did." he said nodding in their direction. "Thanks again Omen." said Grimm happily, bouncing from foot to foot, "I feel better than I have in years " Everyone shifted their focus to the wolf on the ground as she rolled to her side and began to stand shakily. Rex reached down, putting a paw under one of her arms and helping her to her feet. "The name's Omen ma'am." said the Tiger standing at attention and saluting. "At ease Omen," said Luna, "and thank you for the help." "My commander orders you make haste ma'am. She's eager to hear your report. She wouldn't have parted me from her side otherwise." "Then let's not keep her waiting." said Luna, "Move out." ================================================= After retrieving his sword from the battlefield Havikk began the long sprint back to the base, overcome with panic. Trembling all over, he stumbled repeatedly, unable to focus. "Why?" his conscience whined, "Why did you let her go?" "I DON'T KNOW!" he screamed into the surrounding landscape. "The masters will not be happy with us you mutt!" it screamed back at him. Havikk shivered at the thought, whining pitifully as the gates of the forward outpost loomed in front of him. 40 foot black iron gates, flanked by walls just as massive, covered him in shadow. Removing the sword from his back, Havikk laid it down in front of the gates before stepping back and dropping to his knees in front of a metal trapdoor on the ground. A whirring of gears and cables signaled the opening of the door, as two robotic arms clamped tightly to Havikk's wrists, running a paralyzing, yet non-lethal, electric current through his body. Growling in pain he stayed put as a troop of men came from the gates which opened ominously in front of him. The lead soldier carried a collar, not a typical collar but a metallic ring with many wires and blinking diodes. Placing the collar over Havikk's head he pushed a button on a remote in his hand. Instantly the collar tightened to a perfect fit, and the electric current halted. "Come boy." said the officer, turning his back as the clamps released Havikk. Unquestioning, the wolf rose and followed, his head bowed submissively. Walking through the giant iron walls they walked a short distance to a one story, windowless building, the same cold metal as the walls. Entering an automatic door they turned left, following a hall to a room containing Havikk's unused pieces of sophisticated armor. "Sit boy." said the officer. Havikk immediately sat cross legged on the floor. "Stay." said the man. After having a soldier place Havikk's sword against the wall, the officer moved forward, unbuckling Havikk's upper armor and jerking it off harshly. Jolts of agony shot through Havikk's mangled shoulder. Havikk sat motionless, his dilated pupils the only sign of his torturous pain. "Stand." said the man. "Stay." he repeated before unlatching Havikks's leg plates and foot guards, leaving him there naked, blood dripping continuously from his fingertips. "Sit and stay." said the man again, turning and leaving, locking the door behind him. Like a statue he sat, doing his best to ignore the pain. "We cannot disobey." his conscience repeated. "We must obey the master." ===================================== "You will open that fucking door immediately " screamed an attractive brown haired woman in a lab coat and glasses. "No ma'am" said a scrawny, pointed faced soldier guarding the armory. "Nobody sees the mutt until after the commander is through with him." The soldiers eyes widened in shock as the woman slapped him across the face. "Call him that again you fucking prick." she said in a low tone, far scarier than her yell. "Call him that one more fucking time." she said, inches from his face before pulling a 9mm pistol from her waist coat and placing the cool steel against his temple. "That's quite enough Hex." came a voice from behind her. Hex holstered her gun and turned to face the commander. He was a tall stocky man, with a general's cap and an army issue trench coat, all black. "The mutt will deal with me first." Hex stood trembling with rage as the commander walked briskly past her, swiping a card and walking through the automatic doors. Turning before they closed, the general removed a collapsible steel baton from his belt and flipped it to it's full length. "He'll be needing medical assistance shortly." he said, a twisted smile on his face. "You fuck " she screamed, dashing forward as the doors slammed shut, separating them. Slamming her fists against the armory door she stood simmering, tears forming in her eyes. Turning quickly she dashed to her office, grabbing the supplies she knew Havikk would soon require. Havikk shivered slightly as the door behind him slid open automatically. Trembling nervously, he started as a hand touched upon his good shoulder. "You disobeyed me pup." said the commander calmly. Havikk shuddered again at the word disobey. "Yes master." said Havikk. "Our biggest threat was in your possession and you let her go. Why?" "I am weak." answered the wolf, "I pale in comparison to men such as you. Master, I'm sorr-" A muffled thump was the only sound. Havikk's maw fell open in a silent scream, his eyes bulging, as the commanders heavy baton fell upon his already splintered shoulder. "STAY " roared the commander as Havikk moved to put a paw to his shoulder. Placing it back at his side he obeyed, breathing rapidly through the pain. "STAY " roared the commander once more as he smashed his baton to the shoulder again. Havikk stayed still as blackness tunneled his vision, the pain placing him on the verge on unconsciousness. A low crack was ignored as Havikk, clenching his jaw intensely through the agony, felt one of his back teeth break apart. "STAY " roared the man again. As Havikk heard the baton being raised into the air behind him he crumbled forward, grabbing at his mangled shoulder and whimpering pitifully. Reaching down the commander rolled Havikk to his back. "Again you disobey me " he screamed. "Master... please " whined Havikk like a defenseless pup, reaching upwards with his good paw. The man snarled, knocking it away. Stepping over him with one leg he straddled the wolf. Grabbing Havikk by the throat he pulled his head upwards, raining blows from the baton upon his face. Pulling the commander from his neck, Havikk rolled to his stomach, curling slightly and attempting to protect his skull with his one good arm. The man swung repeatedly, grunting with each blow, sweat beading on his forehead. Suddenly a woman's voice punctuated the repetitive thuds of metal on bone. "Havikk!" it screamed. "Hex " Havikk tried yelling, a loud, whimpering sob all that emerged. The steel door slid open, revealing Hex silhouetted against the hallway beyond. She began to enter the room, stopping as the commander un-holstered his pistol and trained it on her. "Just finishing up here Hex." said the commander with a smile, still straddling the bloody heap of fur. Her heart broke in her chest as Havikk lifted his head feebly. With a trembling arm he reached out towards her, one non swollen eye shining with fear and love. Digging his claws into the hard floor he attempted to drag himself toward her, gouging the tile. Pulling himself mere inches at a time he clawed his way to her frantically. Looking between his legs the commander smirked. Lifting a foot he slammed his boot into Havikk's back, holding him in place. "HEX " whined Havikk, reaching out to her again, "MOM! PLEASE!" he cried. "Stop it you fuck!" she screamed at her superior, "You're killing him!" "How cute," laughed the commander, "the mutt thinks he has a mommy." Reaching down once more he rolled Havikk to his back and leaned close. "You may have a mommy," he growled in Havikk's face, "But never forget that I'm your master." Clubbing him once more he let Havikk drop to the floor before walking out, tipping his hat at Hex as he left. As the door slid closed Hex dashed madly to Havikk's side, un-slinging a bag from her shoulder. Grabbing his large shaking paw with both hands, she pulled it to her face nuzzling it gently before placing a hand to the side of his head. Hex gasped in horror as she pulled it back covered in blood. "Mom..." choked Havikk, grasping her hand again feebly, licking it as his tail gave a half wag, "Hi Mom." Slowly his eyes closed and his grip slackened as blackness took him. Knowing time was of the essence Hex reached into her bag, removing a light blue, glowing syringe. Nano-bots, an extremely rare pre-ruin technology, scurried throughout the glowing gel unseen. It had taken Hex years to produce this small vile, an experiment she kept secret. Injecting the entire vial, she pulled Havikk's head into her lap, ignoring the blood that seeped through her leggings. Cradling him gently as tears began to stream down her face. "Vicktor " she sobbed, "Vicktor we can't do this anymore " The wolf's eyelids fluttered slightly as Hex cradled him. Under his skin the precious nano-bots began the tedious reconstruction of his bone a sinew. ========================= The walk back to the forward outpost of the Anthro army took a few hours, the squad moving at a brisk pace seeing as their injuries were, for the most part, healed. The conversation was non-existent, the survivors too emerged in their thoughts of their fallen comrades, and the terror that black wolf had instilled in them. Mayhem walked ahead of the pack, hiding the tears that still fell from her face as she grasped desperately at the blurry memories of her encounter. "Next time we meet Havikk," she whispered to herself, "next time we meet I'll be strong enough to hold you. Ill drag you back by your fucking tail if I have to." Making a right at a fork, she and her squad continued their trek home along the loose dirt path through the forest. "Omen " she yelled, "Up here with me for a moment if you please." "Yes ma'am " replied the tiger running swiftly to her side. "Can the commander wait when we get back? I'm in no condition to see her, and by the time we arrive at the outpost it will be nightfall." "With all due respect, it is of the utmost importance that you are debriefed. I was sent specifically with the task of restoring you and your squad to full effectiveness in order to expedite the process." the Tiger relayed dutifully. "Understandable Omen, but the fact is there are some wounds tha-" "That aren't cuts and bruises. Wounds that take more than some magic trick to heal. Yes I know Ma'am, and I know they are the ones killing you from inside at this moment. I am under orders to persuade you, and will do so devotedly. My commander relies on me and I will not fail her, but you would also do well to understand that you too are my superior and any order you give to me I will be forced to obey." Omen gave her a small smirk, "You must meet with my commander tonight Ma'am." The white wolf almost laughed, "I order you to drop the subject, I will see her in the morning. One more mention of this and I'll have you tried for insubordination." "Understood ma'am." said the tiger with a salute. "You're a strange fellow Omen. Dismissed." "Thank you ma'am." he said before slowing his pace to drop back with the rest of the soldiers. A few miles later the forest began to thin and a ruined rock wall loomed in front of them. The sun just barely over the horizon cast them in shadow, the broken stones looking like jagged teeth running along the uneven structure. Passing through the western gate in the wall, they entered a ruined village, devoid of any signs of life. Moving in-between two ruined stone houses, they made a hard right and came to face a larger stone building, the walls having begun to crumble into what was once the center of the structure. Walking through the crumbling doorframe, Mayhem reached into what looked like a pile of rocks. Pushing down on a smooth round stone their ears were met a small hiss and whirring of gears. Taking a step back they waited as the hidden door to their underground outpost slowly opened. Lights flickered on along the ladder that was concealed underneath. The squad all stood at attention facing Mayhem. "Grimm, Spotter, you are dismissed to your barracks and free duty for the remainder of the night. Omen, you're ordered to relay my previous message to the commander, let her know I will see her first thing tomorrow. Rex I need to discuss further mission specifics with you at my quarters. Goodnight gentlemen, let us dream of better times, and our prayers are with those we lost today." "Goodnight ma'am." they said in unison, before climbing down the large opening to the security room below. Rex and Mayhem waited patiently as the door sealed itself once more, appearing once again as nothing more than a small pile of rubble. Slowly Rex reached out with his paw, clamping it softly around Mayhem's paw and leading her North to her living quarters. As they neared another seemingly destroyed building Rex placed an arm over the wolf's shoulders, pulling her close as she rested her head on his shoulder. Walking through the broken doorway, Rex pulled gently on a protruding brick, triggering a hatch identical to the one their friends had just climbed down. Letting go of the wolf, Rex allowed her to climb down first, waiting until she got to the ground ten feet below before he joined her. "We gave it a shot Mayhem." said Rex, glancing at her with a nervous smirk. "Ugh, don't call me that Rex. I hate it. A stupid name meant to make those pathetic fleshbags as nervous about me as we are about him." "Sorry ma'am" he replied, his grin becoming more apparent. "Don't call me that either numb-nuts, you know I hate having to go through this act around the men." she strode swiftly to him, draping her arms over his shoulders and clasping her paws behind his neck, as he did the same around her waist. "Sorry Luna." he said, leaning forward and placing a kiss on her forehead, still smiling. Luna laughed softly, looking up at the slightly taller fox. She nuzzled her face into his neck gently before looking up once more, closing her eyes, and kissing him softly, pulling back as she felt a wet drop fall on her muzzle. Opening her eyes she frowned as she saw Rex crying. "Oh babe," she said softly. "Never make me do that again Luna." he said angrily. "Babe I couldn't let you risk-" "NEVER" he yelled, lowering his voice as he continued, "ever order me to leave you like that again. I'm not as strong as you, and I know it, but if you order me to leave you again I'll fight you. I'll fight you until I can throw you over my shoulder and take you with me. I thought you were dead." "You're an amazing soldier," she whispered, "and my perfect man." she added. "I was too scared I would lose you if you stayed." "You'll lose me if you make me go again Luna. I'd rather die than have to worry about you like that again." "Then you'll never leave my side again." she whispered, kissing him. "You are the only thing I have left Rex. You're everything." The fox smiled softly down his muzzle at her before pulling her into a long passionate kiss. "Down boy " growled Luna seductively as she pulled away from the kiss. "At least wait until we go down to the bedroom." "Not a chance." growled Rex, a devilish grin on his face. Luna gave a loud yell followed by a laugh as Rex reached down and scooped her into his arms. Carrying her to the kitchen he laid her on the table, spinning her so that her legs straddled his waist. Luna tightened her legs around him as she sat up and began kissing him again. Growling fiercely Rex ran a razor sharp claw down Luna's back, severing the leather straps that secured her bloodstained armor. Peeling the metal from her chest he let her slip her head from the hood before locking her in a kiss once more. Quickly returning the favor Luna ran her claws down his back, tearing apart the camouflage top he was wearing. Rex growled in pain and pleasure as the claws slid down his skin, leaving scratches where they pressed too hard. Pulling away from the kiss Rex shook off the tatters of clothing left on his torso, revealing a very impressive body. His pecs protruded well past his stomach, which was a rippling layer of abdominal muscles bordered by extremely defined obliques. Running her paws along his arms her palms were met with the sleek, yet well built muscles of his biceps and triceps. Luna laughed again as Rex gently slid padding used to make the armor comfortable from her chest, leaving her completely topless before him. Her white fur covered her whole body, only broken by the light pink of her nipples as they bounced gently atop her c-cup breasts. Aside from having the naturally sleek, muscular frame associated with pure breeds, her years in the military had resulted in a perfectly sculpted body. Her muscles had the slightest definition, giving her long slender body a flawless image of sleekness. Her well toned, yet not bulky, legs ran perfectly into her slim waist. Her stomach was flat, her chest similar until it reacher her breasts. Their squad having been on patrol for over three weeks, Rex lost himself in his feral lust. He slashed his claws roughly, yet accurately, across the crotch of Luna's much softer pants. Grabbing at each side of the gouges he pulled them apart viciously, revealing all of Luna's groin area though her legs remained covered. As she was wearing no underwear Rex's nose was met abruptly with her lusting scent, and his eyes with a view of her already wet entrance. Rex's eyes rolled back slightly as he was hit with the scent, "Holy shit..." he whispered, hastily unzipping his fly before pulling out his balls and already erect member. Grabbing his hard shaft he placed the tip of his dick against her slit. "Oh Rex don't spare any romance." said Luna sarcastically, sitting up and reaching her arms behind his neck, as Rex rushed to be inside of her. Rex stopped himself from entering her, looking down at her guiltily for a moment before- "Just kidding " yipped Luna excitedly, squeezing her legs suddenly and pulling Rex inside of her forcefully. "Oh God YES " she moaned as he entered her fully, "This is what I needed " Rex gasped in shock and pleasure as he was pulled into her warm folds. Her walls wrapped around his member as if they were made for it, hugging it tightly and engulfing him in their wet warmth. Once he was inside of her fully he gyrated his hips gently, grinding his soft fur against her sensitive clit making her moan loudly. As Luna's legs loosened their vicelike grip he pulled his member out to the tip. Licking his thumb in excess, he slid it down and began to circle it against her clit before sliding into her again slowly, gritting his teeth at the unreal feeling of her dripping entrance. Luna moaned loudly, letting go of his neck and laying flat on the table as he slid gently in and out of her. Reaching a paw tentatively toward her chest she began to fondle one of her breasts, playing with the nipple and teasing herself through the waves of pleasure that Rex was sending through her. Again and again Rex slid into her slowly as he rubbed her sensitive mound gently. Sliding his paws to her waist he grasped her hips tightly before beginning to speed up. He slid his way into her fully again and again, picking up his pace with each thrust until he was pounding into her almost frantically. The wet sound of flesh smacking flesh began to fill the room as their fur became matted with sweat and other fluids. As Rex continued his thrusting the table rocked underneath Luna, sliding a few inches from him every time, causing him to have to move forward. Growling in frustration he thrust himself into her fully before running the table forward until it slammed against the back wall, the sudden stop driving him even deeper inside of Luna. Screaming in ecstacy as Rex slammed the table against the wall Luna reached her paws behind her, lifting herself to a sitting position. Reaching both paws behind his neck again she moaned loudly, pulling his muzzle to hers and kissing him deeply. Luna broke the kiss as pleasure began to pulse through every bone of her body. She gasped with every thrust as Rex's hard rod pushed repeatedly against her g-spot. Pulling herself against him tightly she took one deep breath, sliding her arms up under Rex's and digging her claws forcefully into his shoulder blades as her climax shook her frame. Rex growled loudly as Luna's claws dug into him. Pulling out slowly he drove himself into her even deeper, grinding his pelvis against hers as he did. He pulled slowly out again and drove once more into her, grinning to himself as she began to tremble once more in a second orgasm. As Rex pressed into her again and again Luna was hit immediately with a second climax. Riding it out she reached her paws around Rex's neck again, pulling herself upward and off the table. Rex slid his hands underneath her perfect ass as he lifted her, stumbling backward slightly before regaining his composure. Luna slammed herself up and down his shaft lustfully as Rex moved himself toward a wall. Pushing her so her back was against the cold surface, he began thrusting into her while lowering her onto him simultaneously. Groaning as he went even deeper into her than before, Rex felt himself begin to approach his peak. Growling loudly he kissed her passionately again, beginning to thrust faster and faster, breathing heavily as her tight passage massaged his throbbing member. Luna broke the kiss abruptly, listening as she heard Rex's breathing begin to quicken, and as his moans begin to increase in volume. Curling her tail downward, she rubbed it sensually against Rex's balls, starting slow and increasing her pace. Rex gasped briefly as she started, overcome with pleasure at having his sack teased in such a way. Rex gave one final moan, thrusting as deep as he could inside of Luna. Letting out a long low moan, Rex titled his head back as he let loose a torrent of cum deep inside of her warm slit. Luna moaned as well, feeling stream after stream of his hot cum filling her. Slowly she began to gyrate her hips, drawing gasps of sheer pleasure from Rex. She ground faster and faster as Rex moaned. Luna grinned as the movements drew a loud, "GOD YES!" from Rex, a second wave of cum entering her. Rex pushed her against the wall roughly, keeping himself hilted as drops of his seed began to seep from around his shaft, dripping noisily to the floor. Pulling out slowly, he gasped as his sensitive tip pulled free, spraying a few more drops on Luna's already wet crotch. Reaching a paw down Luna scooped a small amount onto her fingers before licking them clean with a mischievous smile on her maw. Rex pulled her in fiercely and once again locked her in a passionate kiss. "Round two?" she asked with a smile. ==================== Back at the base the men had cleared security and gone to bed, all of them except for Omen. After saying goodnight to the others at the barracks on the third level, he had gone back through security and exited the main area. Slowly he made his way to the south end of the village, with a pronounced limp that he had worked to hide before. Roughly ten feet from his destination he reached a paw to his head as blood dripped slowly from above his eye. Bracing himself in the door frame of another ruined house he composed himself before attempting to step inside. Omen gave a muffled scream as he tried to take a step forward, dropping quickly to the floor as two long gashes that hadn't existed before appeared behind his ankles. Dragging himself determinedly he reached the corner of the house, pressing a rock and sighing as he slumped with his back against the wall, blood now pouring freely from a gash on the top of his head. Cringing with pain, a smile soon appeared on his muzzle as a figure stood silhouetted before him. "Hello my heart." it whispered. "Hello my soul." he replied. "Oh my poor, poor heart." the figure whispered sadly, "What have I made you do." Slowly the dark figure bent and lifted Omen gently in it's arms. "Come my heart, you deserve a good rest." The two figures slowly vanished from view as a trap door hissed shut behind them, once more seamlessly sealing the entrance to something more than it appeared to be.
