#96 of Exploration

The wolf/dragon hybrid stepped forwards, and spotted what everyone was looking at.

"Mabel, you did say you knew raise dead?" Valmeero asked hopefully in the fragile silence.

"No, does anyone else?" the cleric replied.

What we were all looking at was in fact a body. It lay about six foot two, with a backpack and weapons on his back. It was lying face down, but no prizes to anyone guessing who it was.

No one really knew what to say, except Mendra.

"There must have been a curse on the antidote, when you put the stone in the liquid, you would have set it off." the cat stared thoughtfully at me and me. As I turned to him, Draco, who was looking open mouthed at me on my feet, waved a hand gently in my direction.

The hand passed straight through my arm. I didn't feel a thing, but Draco shook his hand gently, as if clearing a slight buzz.

"It's like static electricity, but how?" he asked.

"You're not getting rid of me that easily." I replied, absent mindedly. Being dead gave you the most wonderful insights. Fortunately, there were expert magicians around me, and surely one of them could cast Raise Dead.

"But how are you, a spirit?" Simba asked.

"He's gone through so many ordeals, it's hard to say, but it's quite possible that because he was touched by an elven goddess, and granted gifts, he stayed here." Kohana looked thoughtfully at my spirit. Now I noticed it, I did appear to be faintly translucent, as if not quite there.

I didn't glow brightly or anything like that, and I was incapable of touching anyone, but I was still there, and that was a start.

"Mendra, tell me there's some way of bringing me back to life."

"Of course there is Alduin. There is a special ritual that we perform, the only problem is the potion takes four weeks to make, and we need eight powerful spell casters."

"We got the number, there's no problem there." O'eola looked around.

"I wish you hadn't used Raise Dead on me." Mabel complained,"I had a scroll of it, and this could have been so much simpler."

"On the other hand, Mabel, you would have been dead." O'eola replied.

"How did you get it on a scroll?" Esme asked.

"The spell needs lots of magical power, I do not have enough, but it can be scribed by a cleric and then cast. The only problem is we don't have one since I let myself get sacrificed to destroy the Master."

"Still, all kudos to you there." O'eola cuffed the cleric gently."So, Mendra, is this potion easy to make?"

"Oh yes, really simple." Mendra nodded,"The ingredients are reasonably easy to collect, the only problem is they have to be added in a certain way, and stewed for four weeks."

"It takes a while."I breathed, looking annoyed. We all set off down the hill to the corpse, and Mabel began chanting.

"What are you doing?" I asked, irritably.

"Alduin, if I don't cast this spell, you're going to wake up looking like a zombie. Gentle Repose allows..."

"I am aware of Gentle Repose, Drason cast it on himself for two years."I replied shortly. Draco whispered something in Mabel's ears.

I turned away, anger building in my system. This was so not fair. Four weeks, standing here on a desolated planet, no way of contacting my home planet. Well, so be it. With fury, I kicked at a stone, and to my great surprise it flew away and landed in the river with a splash. Then I realised something, Kohana had given me magical powers, being dead meant I could use them with out having my body interrupt the flow.

I pointed my hand at a small rock, and concentrated hard. As I lifted my hand, the stone began to float in mid air, hovering with apparent ease. With a flick of my hand, the rock was hurled across the river, and landed on the opposite bank. Draco broke off from the surrounding group, and walked over to me, Javid following.

"Don't worry, Alduin, it just takes time." the dragon consoled me.

"Hmmm." I mumbled a reply, and picked another rock up by magic and hurled it into the stream. Draco smiled.

"A new trick, I see."

"I'm working on it."I said. I stopped meandering down the bank, and Javid stood beside me, which gave me another idea about spirits.

"Javid, do not panic, I'm going to try something."

Of course the wolf looked slightly dubious. I walked over to him, and then through him.

It felt absolutely weird, a huge buzzing feeling surging through my limbs. I could fell Javid's mind, he was feeling exceptionally confused, and I could feel him fight against my own spirit entering him.

"What are you doing?" Javid howled, and his spirit retreated into a corner of his mind, allowing me to enter.

As he did, there was a flash of light in front of my eyes, probably no one elses, and I was standing there, looking at Draco. The dragon was looking in worry, he didn't know what had happened. Hell, I didn't know, but I looked down.

Two furry black feet with claws were below me. My entire body was black fur, and over my shoulder was Javid's sniper rifle. I heard Javid's voice in my head.

"Sure, now you have a body, what am I supposed to do for four weeks?"

"It appears, Draco." I said aloud," that this spirit is capable of possession."

"Is Javid alright?" the reptile replied, looking amused for a moment.

"I'm fine, although it's very boring." Javid replied, although Draco couldn't hear him.

"He says he's alright." I said, and rubbed my paws together in contemplation.

"You aren't going to stay in me for that long, Alduin?" the wolf's voice asked.

"No."I replied,"I'm just seeing what's possible. You are feeling what I am, paw touching paw."

"Yes." Javid replied," I am obviously experiencing everything you are."

"There's a thought, next time Draco fucks you, we both enjoy ourselves."I laughed, and Draco grinned.

"I hadn't thought of it that way." the wolf replied,"So Draco would in fact be stroking us both off, when there's only one of us?"

"It appears so. Right, I'll let you have your body back."

"About time too." the wolf replied.

I mentally concentrated, and stepped forwards. The connections of spirit to body resisted gently, and then after a flash of light, I was standing next to Draco. I turned, and the wolf was on his knees, looking rather unwell.

"Sorry, Javid, I didn't know that would happen."

"Oh no, it was something new to me.It felt all warm and fuzzy, until you left."

I concentrated on something else, and Draco sighed.

"Alduin, we all know spirits can turn invisible, you don't need to try it out."

I wafted away from the pair of them, heading towards the magicians, who were in a circle, discussing the spell that would eventually revive me, or so I hoped.Draco was not aware of me moving away. Winslo was the nearest, so I gently walked into him from behind.

It was like a hammer blow. The magical power the bunny had surged over me, trying desperately to repel me.I pushed hard back, my stripling magical force helped by the fact I needed no body to direct it.Winslo's will was set against me, but I fought hard, and I could feel him begin to weaken. He shouted out loud, while clutching his head.

"Get out!"

Everyone turned to look at him, as the bunny gave up the fight, knowing he had given everyone else a warning. Mendra had his hands in a spell position.

"Winslo, what happened?"

"Alduin's just testing what he can do." I replied, looking at my slim, white furred arms.

"I'm sorry?" Orion laughed," Alduin, have you taken control of Winslo's body?"

"Apparently so. Don't worry, he's still here, just I'm controlling all the moving bits. We might need to do so to teleport back to Central."

"Fair point, I just wish you'd given me advance warning." Winslo said inwardly.

"I trust Winslo wasn't expecting it." O'eola looked at me, as I gripped the staff Winslo was holding.

"NO!" Winslo shouted, but only I heard it.

"He says he wasn't." I replied."Do you know, Winslo, you have so much strength is this lithe frame of yours?"

"I work out regularly, what did you expect?" the bunny replied.

"I should really try this on a dragon, I've always wanted to know how strong they are."

"And try their special abilities." Runo added,"except I'm not going to volunteer."

I left Winslo, and the bunny regained his composure and his body while I twinkled into visibility behind him.

Before this conversation went any further, there was a huge bang, and the turf was ripped up beside me. We all turned, and there was a group of magicians appearing over the island hill.

Casdey, a black dragon, a hyena creature, something that was half man, half scorpion of all things, two full humanoids, and about seven or eight daemon like creatures. Everyone beside me ran for cover, as spells started flying across the water.

Casdey recognised me, and shouted.

"The human there, he was responsible!"

Jets of light and explosions came whizzing at me, I was still too surprised to react. The first jet went straight through my chest and out the other side. Then I realised it wasn't a good time to be standing still. I ran along the river bank, the magicians firing at me hurling their spells with impressive accuracy. I realised being dead had some advantages, as a red beam shot through me.

I faded into invisibility, and my friends had found cover in the trees. The non magical in the party were keeping down, the range was too far for Salbar's swords or flame thrower, and Javid firing his sniper rifle would only leave him exposed for a loose spell, god knows there was enough of them.I walked across the river, well, when I said walk I meant skimmed, or hovered, and climbed the hill.

The dragon seemed to suit my purposes completely. As I walked casually past a couple of daemons, I resisted an urge to kick them from behind, and walked into the back of the dragon.

He was most surprised. His attention had been at the magical duel, Winslo had merely been idle, so I had taken most of him over before he could react. When he did, he was incapable of doing anything to warn his mates, and five seconds later, I had control.

With a casual smile, I thought inwardly.

"Right, mate, this is what you get for killing me."

"What are you?" the dragon's voice rumbled, as I began chanting to let loose a spell, this dragon was a powerful dark magic caster, and my hands began to glow dark.

"I am the dead body by the river bank, it happened when I set Mendra free. You must be Eviloths."

"Mendra told you, I suppose." the dragon said sulkily.

"He did." I thought back, and then hurled the spell.

The half scorpion creature didn't know what hit him, before a blazing black ball of energy vaporised him, body and all. I looked at my fingers, while everyone looked at me.

"Hey, Winslo, you should learn that one!" I shouted gleefully, before laying out the hyena beside me with my staff. I ducked and dived as spells from the evil side came zipping past me. I vaporised two daemons, and then turned to find six staffs pointing at me.

Casdey and the remaining forces were looking at me. I casually retreated from the dragon's body, still invisible, and the dragon was forced to his knees, coughing.

"It...wasn't...me!" he managed to gasp," Something took me over."

I walked into Casdey. She had also not expected it, still trying to concentrate on Eviloths. She shivered slightly, and then two of the magicians were blasted from O'eola and Draca hurling Lightning bolts, one from Orion's fireball, and I ducked as Winslo hurled an ice bolt.

"Here!, I'm on your side!" I shouted, as I whacked the back of the one beside me. He went sprawling.

"It's your own fault for picking someone to possess during a battle!" Winslo shouted back, as all my friendly magicians surged forwards. The last one was now looking at me/Casdey in shock, Eviloths was still weak after the possession, and Casdey had finally realised who had entered her body.

"You evil bastard!" she shouted. I could feel her mind struggling, trying to force me out.

"I thought you said you liked evil bastards."I thought at her.

"I do! Except your a saintly evil bastard!" she replied. She wasn't going to get me out any time soon, being dead had increased my magical ability no end. The only problem was I was dead, with all the bad things that ensue. Outside a body, I could not sleep, eat or drink, nor was I able to touch my friends, Draco would be spitting fire that he couldn't fuck me for four weeks.

"Casdey, face it."I said aloud,"I'm not letting you have this body back." the human magician looked at me in intense worry, and Eviloths was staring daggers at me. Then Winslo, having Levitated across the river first, got to the hill, and stood looking at me.

"Alduin?"

"In one piece." I replied, not breaking eye contact with the human in front of me.

"You look really hot, you know that." the bunny smiled.

"I don't find that amusing." the squirrel replied, seething with fury.

"Casdey thinks you need to find a better day job." I replied, as O'eola tied up the human magician. Runo, Hinori and Sunrise forced Eviloths down and tied him up likewise. Valmeero walked up to me.

"Once again, Alduin, pulling a entire dimension of ideas out of those very beautiful sleeves of yours.Very shapely arms."

"Thank you, Casdey has a very nice figure." I replied.

"Will you all stop making passes at me!" the squirrel howled in anger.

"I think she's annoyed about it though. Still, after what they did to Mendra, I suppose it's their own fault."

Mendra had walked over to the bound Eviloths, and the dragon and cat creature were standing in front of one another. They seemed to be saying nothing, but the gaze they were giving one another seemed to say it all, both were really, really, angry.

I looked at the seething pair, and with a gentle side step disappeared over the ridge in the opposite direction. Rather than be embroiled by their argument, most of the others followed. The three dragon family couldn't leave though, they were holding the ropes, and they looked none too keen to be there. As we crossed back to the wreckage of the cauldron, Valmeero spoke.

"Alduin, who do you internd to possess as we go back to Central?"

"Well, Casdey seems a logical choice." I replied."Doubtless she hasn't much for her here."

"I'm sorry!" Casdey shouted,"You aren't taking me anywhere!"

There was a monumental flare of light from over the hill. Everyone turned, and Runo spoke through his link.

"I have no idea what Mendra just did, but Eviloths is gone."

"An exiling spell." the cat creature explained shortly,"Now I am going to have to clear up this mess, and then begin making the potion for Alduin."

"Will you be coming to Central?" Hinori asked.

"No, Hinori," Mendra replied,"I will work better here. Now where's Casdey, I still have some anger to vent?"

"Point of order." Draco replied, as the three dragons and the cat came over the ridge,"Alduin's keeping her to get himself back to Central."

"I see. She should count herself lucky." Mendra shrugged. Casdey spoke to me.

"One day, you will regret this."

"When?" I asked back.

"Possibly after I thank you for saving my life." she replied.

"Any time, Casdey. Why the sudden change?"

"Oh, I'm still an evil sorceress with hatred for anything good, I'm just admitting that you're not the worst companion."

"That's high praise coming from an evil sorceress." I replied. Draco went down and picked up my body. With apparently little effort, he lifted me, gear and all, over one shoulder. Then he teleported.

This was the signal for everyone to squad up around those with teleporters. I realised that I no longer had one, and took Sunrise's arm, holding the bone staff in the other hand.

"You don't really need to take that staff, it looks like three thigh bones fused together, and smoothed down."

"That's because it is." Casdey said smugly,"And ask him on the subject of limb whether he'd like to be minus one of his."

I relayed this question, and Sunrise darkened.

"Casdey, I am yet to lose my temper with a prisoner, don't make me do so."

Hinori and Runo took two tentative steps away. Casdey replied patiently.

"Exactly, I need this staff." she said, and I gave the answer back. Sunrise shrugged, and we all teleported.

We arrived next to Valmeero. Alecto was standing there with an elf and a crash cart, and looking at the dragon and my body with the same stunned look.

"Still the resemblance to guppy fish." I leaned on the staff, and Alecto turned, looking at me. There was a momentarily look of confusion, and then the fox grabbed his blaster and went for me. Casdey was obviously evil, that much we all knew, and Alecto was not aware of the news. With a swing of my staff I pointed the end at Alecto, and he rose bodily into the air, thrashing his legs in panic.Everyone started towards me, but Valmeero extended a hand to impede them while I looked at Alecto.

"You made that look easy." Casdey said in my head.

"Casdey,"I said out loud, but speaking as though I was talking to someone over my shoulder," I no longer have a body to worry me, and the one that I have borrowed also is magical. So I have a lot of magical power right now."

"Alduin?" Alecto asked, still fighting the spell holding him two feet off the ground. A glower had turned up, but the glowers always knew what was happening.

"This is possibly the first time we've had a scout die and still be moving." it commented, glowing slightly brighter in it's own way, which meant it was chuckling to itself.

As my body was wheeled back to my quarters by the elf and Alecto, now released, the magicians that came from other planets said farewell to one another, and squadded up with teleporters. They all vanished, leaving me, Valmeero, Sunrise and Runo. Runo didn't have a teleporter, it's just the numbers were imbalanced.

We walked towards the food store. After five minutes, Casdey was complaining about where we were going, she had no idea, we arrived at the door, and I entered behind Valmeero.

A fair number were in the store. Silverine, Blake, Valmeero and Billy were around a near table, and they all looked up.Silverine scowled.

"What happened, Valmeero?" The wolf/dragon hybrid looked at me, but I held up my hands in innocence.

"I'm not going to explain it."I said. As you would expect, I was speaking in her voice, and no one understood. Valmeero shrugged, and pulled from his bag my dagger.

He walked forwards, drawing it, and then with a mighty blow, hammered it point first into the wooden table. Everyone looked at the vibrating knife.

"That's Alduin's present from the dragon rider, isn't it?" Blake said.

"It is." Valmeero said.

"Why hasn't he...." Silverine looked up in shock.

"What happened to him?" the Lupogriff added.

"The short answer is he's dead, killed by a magical curse." Valmeero looked solemnly. Everyone got to their feet, wishing that Valmeero was joking, and there were themes on that thought spoken out loud.

"No." Salbar replied,"I saw it too."

People practically collapsed back in their seats. Silverine looked at me.

"What's with the squirrel?"

"This is Casdey, evil magician, and she was guarding the bubble with the curse inside. They had a high powered magician locked inside it, and she was on guard."

"They'll kill me!" Casdey screamed.

"So why is she here?" Silverine got to his feet with deliberate stiffness, his wings unfolding, and hatred streaming off him.

"Because," I replied," I'm currently posessing her, Silverine.Doubtless the magicians can explain it better than me, but I am apparently a spirit."

"Prove it."

"O.K., I live on Earth, work twenty eight hours a week at a boring job, and live with Gareth. Does that explain it?"

"Yes." Silverine sat down, suddenly becoming his normal self again. There was a clatter of feet, and both Ryans came flying down the corridor at a dead run. Ryan Lewis had tears streaking his face, and he came to a dead halt in front of me. With one fluid movement, he bodily punched me in the shoulder.

"YOU KILLED HIM!" the human shouted. I stumbled back, and smiled.

"She didn't, I wasn't aware of the trap Eviloths had placed on the cauldron."

"Well, at least you can be resurrected." Tiger Ryan said, breathing deeply.

"And by the way,"I added," we both felt that punch, so don't do it again." Ryan Lewis hugged me.

"Emotional, isn't he?" Casdey said in my head.

"Casdey,"I said out loud," just shut up, O.K, other wise I will leave your body, and allow Silverine to do what he wants."

"O.K., O.K." Casdey replied quickly. Ryan released me as he realised.

"Can you tell her she's an evil harlot?"

"We are using the same body, we hear the same things, we see the same things." I said, as if that explained it."Now, can we find a room for me?"

"What about your normal room?" Blake asked.

"Firstly, my bed has a dead body in it, and that body is mine, I don't want to have to sleep next to it. Secondly, I don't know how long possession works, but I don't want Casdey running around."

"Like I would." the squirrel muttered.

Billy and Valmeero came with me to find a temporary room.

"How long are you going to possess me for?" Casdey complained.

"Well, not for all the time for the next four weeks, but I will need someone to do things."

"Why me?" she protested.

"Why not?" I asked. She was speechless.

"Four weeks, as the puppet of a human spirit. What am I supposed to do?"

"I hope you've got a good book." I replied, innocently.

She writhed in anger, her mind pulsing in revulsion.

"Casdey," Winslo said as he pulled up in front of me, where had he come from?," what you need to know is that once a possessor gets in, only outside help or voluntary leaving will get him to go. For now he has all the mental and physical power of you, plus his own. A possessed spirit is exceptionally powerful, the disadvantage is that there are too many spells that can remove him, and that most of them are agonizing to said spirit when forced out."

Casdey appeared to sulk, and we arrived at an empty room. It had a bed, a bookcase of books, and a door leading to a bathroom and toilet.

"Home sweet home, Casdey." Billy looked around the room. Valmeero looked as though something had just occured to him.

"Alduin, surely you're not going four weeks without sex?"

Oh bugger, hadn't thought of that. Casdey spoke.

"If you're thinking about using my body so you can have sex, you're wrong."

"And how are you going to stop me?" I asked inwardly.

"Alduin..." she began.

"You said you wanted a bit of sex." I added, and then spoke out loud."Either I possess Casdey, or someone else, if they're willing."

"Oh, whatever." the squirrel said in defeat. I placed the staff on the bed, and she added,"As long as they aren't too rough."

"Well, Casdey wants you to go gentle when that happens." I said, smiling at Valmeero. The wolf/dragon removed his top in anticipation, grinning. Casdey sounded scared.

"Him? He's huge!"

"That's the general idea." I replied, nodding at Billy. The bounty hunter smiled, and began to strip. I likewise got out of Casdey's clothes, apparently she had found some in a hurry, and it was a very sexy outift.

I was lacking a cock, which didn't cross my mind until we all stood there naked. Valmeero noticed my look of confusion.

"Alduin, you can't fuck anyone this time."

"I'll just possess you sometime. You don't mind?"

"Well, as long as you give me advance warning." the wolf smiled, advancing on me. With his gentle arms he picked my lithe squirrel body, and sat down against the bed with me on top of him, facing away. His unerect cock was teased against my ass, and Billy got down on top of me, and began fingering my pussy.

It was strange!Speaking as a full time male, it was nothing like I expected. Casdey on the other hand, was very used to it, and she sighed in my head. As she did, Valmeero helpfully blinded me with a black cloth, and as I opened my mouth to complain, put a ball gag in.

"Now that's just mean!" Casdey complained. I thought briefly.

"Here's your body back, Casdey."

"About time." the squirrel replied, as I invisibly rose out of the sex. Valmeero had finished cuffing her hands behind her, he still had no idea it was no longer me, Billy likewise.

Casdey tried to speak through the ball gag, but this was futile. I went over to the bunk bed, and shimmered into the visible spectrum, watching as the bunny bounty hunter inserted two fingers into the squirrel's vagina, and Valmeero pushed into her ass with his cock. She made a very loud muffled noise, and Valmeero smiled.

"Alduin, if you want us to go harder, just nod."

This was a rhetorical question, and Billy forced his own member into the magician. Tied, gagged, blinded and now doubly penetrated, Casdey went completely limp.

"Good. Now, if you struggle, we'll fuck you harder, is that clear?" Billy said, and Casdey nodded. I could hardly contain myself from laughing out loud. It was mean of me, yes, but they started it by trying to tie me up. Valmeero curled his tail around, and with firmness pushed hard into Casdey's pussy beside Billy's cock, and she stiffened in his grasp. The wolf grabbed hold of her breasts, and with his first finger claws gently ran them against her nipples.

She was enjoying it, a bit, but she possibly would have more so if they were aware this wasn't Alduin they were abusing. She squirmed as they fucked her roughly. All three went fairly deep, the third being the draconic tail, and Billy Carlson removed the gag and kissed her passionately.

Oops, she was still effected by the potion.Had that much happened in such a short period of time?Apparently so. On the other hand, she had been covered with the potion, even if it was diluted with semen, maybe it had been absorbed. On second thoughts, she might have licked herself clean, in which case she got a tremendous dose.

As she pulled the bunny in closer, I reckoned it was the second. She spoke.

"Remove the bonds, Valmeero, I want to hold this bunny so tight in me." Valmeero stopped, and looked at Casdey. As he removed the cuffs, he looked around. He spotted me, and he gave me a piercing look. I smiled gaily from the bed, and waved. He rolled his eyes, and finished undoing the cuffs. Casdey reached around and took the bunny around his rear, pulling him deeper. Billy oblingingly fucked her with short but deep strokes, and I lay back on the top bunk, waiting for them to finish.
