SUMMARY/BACKGROUD

Pre-Story

From a very young age Jason knew he liked both males and females, he also knew that two males together were frowned upon in many place in the Tribal Lands; and that in certain places it could get him killed. Despite this he was never one to hide his sexuality, he would openly make inappropriate comments to both males and females, but most took this in a joking manner. The few who took umbridge to his comments either said nothing or picked a fight, and due to Jason's size not many were not willing to mess with him.

During a visit to another village with his father Jason met Michael, a pure white stallion, and from the first moment he laid eyes on him he couldn't stop thinking about him. For the first time in his life Jason was actually speechless, unable to approach and talk to him. For nearly two days Jason followed and watched Michael as he went about his daily routine. On the third and final day of his visit to the village Jason final made a move, visiting the workshop that Michael worked in. Before he managed to say anything Michael surprised Jason by telling him that he knew that he had been watching him.

From there their friendship blossomed, several weeks later Jason moved to stay in the same village as Michael, leaving his old life behind to go live close to Michael. His family did not take kindly to this, and upon his fathers next visit to the village he told the locals about his son, and so the village began to spite both Jason and Michael. Life became difficult for them and they knew they couldn't go on living like that. That's when they spotted a merchant passing through town, an ageing falcon and a powerful white furred tiger, they approached the duo and asked if they could travel with them.

Eric agreed to take them along and they travelled through several villages together, Jason and Michael looking for a new place to settle down together, both of them lending their muscle to Eric when needed as thanks. After a couple of months of travelling together Eric asked them if they wanted to stay and work for him. Jason loved the idea and soon had Michael agreeing to it. Since then they have worked for Eric as they travelled the Tribal Lands, enjoying life together just as they had wanted to.

'A Place to Belong'

Jason helped to carry Malakye into the wagon, so that they could treat his injuries without risk of being seen by any wolves. But beyond that he spent very little time with the dragolf until Zangar. After hearing how harsh a life he had had living with the wolves Jason arranged a little surprise for him. Not knowing what else to get Malakye he got him something he would have appreciated himself; sex. He found a beautiful looking dragoness who worked at their favoured tavern and asked her to do the dirty deed. Much to his surprise she agreed to do it without payment, confirming Jason's own thoughts on Malakye, that he was very handsome.

Jason couldn't help but feel good, as he saw when what he had expected to be a single night of passion turn into a budding romance, and felt himself responsible for bringing Malakye and Rose together. When Rose died and Malakye literally fell apart at the seams Jason felt guilty. He had introduced them and now felt responsible for the pain that Malakye was suffering due to her death. It took Michael a few days to convince him that he wasn't responsible, and that his intentions were good.

In Rengilar he tried to make it up to Malakye by letting him taste some strong alcohol, trying to give Malakye a good time and hoping that if nothing else the alcohol would help him feel better. He wanted to show Malakye that life goes on, and that he could still enjoy life.
