The Vixen, A KitsuneChapter 3The next morning when I woke up, Layara was still sleeping on my chest.
She looked so peaceful, I didn't want to wake her, but she woke up anyways. She
seemed confused and turned to look at me.She gasped, "I'm so sorry""There's no need to be sorry" I said.She gave out a sigh of relief and smiled at me, then stood up. I'd
forgotten that she was naked and started staring again, but caught myself. She
giggled and started for the door. Oh man her butt was something to look at, I
almost forgot to breathe, and those tails, all fluffy and perfect. She turned
around and I quickly pretended like I was looking at the wall.She smiled, "Well, I guess it's time to show you the rest of the village." I got up and we started outside. I opened the door and let her out first.
Upon closing the door and turning around I realized that there were tons of
Vixens standing outside the house. They were just staring at me. I thought to
myself. 'OH shit,' what have I done, I'm in so much trouble. I looked at Layara
and she was smiling. What the hell is going on? Then one vixen spoke up from
the crowd."All hail Layara and the new prince!" the vixen said. And everybody
followed by cheering and clapping. They all ran forward to congratulate me. There
were old vixens and children too. All of them looking me up and down like they
had never seen a young colt before. Well, I guess they hadn't cause they weren't
allowed to leave the forest. I was relieved that they weren't upset with me,
but shocked at this new development. A prince? But why? I mean, I'm not
complaining or anything, who wouldn't want to be married to a beautiful
kitsune. It was all just happening so fast. Layara noticed my confusion and whispered to me, "I believe I have some
explaining to do. I'll speak to you about this later." I nodded and when the villagers
were done with their congratulating, we proceeded past the crowd and walked for
a while."Ok, you got some explaining to do" I said rather sternly. Or I tried to
at least.She just laughed and said, "Ok...when a kitsune or vixen, or any species of
our clan for that matter, lies down with another, they must be wed. That is our
way, and I really like you." She blushed, which wasn't hard to see through that
white fur of hers. "I hope you're not offended by what I did. I should have
told you, I'm sorry" she looked sad.I took her by the arm and pulled her towards me, looking straight in her
eyes I said, "Do not be sorry. I am not. Anyone in their right mind would give
his all to be with a beautiful creature like you. You are the most beautiful
thing I've ever seen. I would gladly spend the rest of my life with you" This
made her so happy she jumped, kicking both feet backwards up in the air and
jumped again but this time jumping on me, knocking both of us to the ground. I
guess I still didn't quite have my strength back. She landed on me and knocked
the breath out of me. She sure is an energetic little thing. "Oh goodness, I'm sorry, I forgot you haven't regained your strength yet"
she saidWhen I caught my breath I told her, "You really need to stop apologizing
all the time." I gave her a smile and raised an eyebrow."I'm sor...Ok..." she said as she caught herself. "I get excited and
sometimes I can be a bit clumsy." She smiled real big and then gasped, kneeling
up real quick. She had been laying on me for some time and I didn't realize
that I was kinda hard. "Oh my!" she said."I'm so sorry," I said frantically."Now who's apologizing? Hmm?" she thought this was funny. She chuckled
and smiled at me as she pulled me to my feet. I was quite embarrassed. Now she
was the one who couldn't keep her eyes off of me.To break the tension I yelled, "Hey! I'm up here!" and pointed to my
face. Oh man, that made her laugh big time, and gave me the biggest smile that
I've seen from her. She threw her arms around me and hugged me.
I looked deep into her eyes, and kissed her...It felt so good I started to get
weak at the knees. I started thinking now. I don't want to lose her. This vixen
will be my wife and I don't want anything to happen to her. But how could I protect
her? I couldn't even protect myself, or my father. I'm going to learn their ways.
I will ask the commander. I must protect her, at any cost.
