Objection

, ,

I have my moments of madness and lucidity. Sometimes it's just noise wanting an escape into writing, to me; but I'll leave the value up to my readers.

By any means be the one to the goal.

Whatever that may mean.

Seems it's the drive of all mankind.

"Only I achieved."

"I was the Hero."

Selfishness. Yet, here is more;

"It is only right that we volunteer ourselves for the greater good."

And to who do you speak, and what do you know of their deeds,

As you tear away what is ours, to give to the undeserving?

Who are we to judge which ones the victims are?

I am the Cynic, the one who asks these questions, no matter how callous.

The irony then is that I too, inescapably judge and weigh our worth.

Is innocence obtainable only through subjectivity,

Can we only look at one another, and see our relative flaws?

"Your side, my side, my side, your side!"

Is there any right side in it, but that which we choose to find?
