Water Works. [Poem]
Just a short poem that came to mind. :)
Waves that crash upon the shore, have never felt regret I'm sure.
They drown the hopes and dreams of all the people in between.
With vengeance they attack our walls, forcing us to flee.
While Mother Nature's children roam, faces filled with glee.
Within a house, a woman sits, watching massive waves.
They struck her quick, her family sick, she hasn't shown for days.
As humans we avoid the warnings, never heed the signs.
In return the forces of this earth, will never hear your cries.
So ask yourself now what to do, to help repair the cracks.
There's nothing left to do you fools, the knives are in your backs.
