Species Description Chakat:

Chakats are a genetically engineered tauroid sentient organism designed from the onset for survival in most harsh environments and over all species survival. Each organ except for the brain has a backup, two hearts, two sets of lungs, two sets of kidneys and so on giving them massive protection against poisons and microorganisms. This made them perfect for exploration of new worlds and environments. Along with this the designers of the Chakat genome gave them the ability to sense and project emotions. This also makes them great for interpersonal relations and negotiation. The front paws of their tauroid lower body can also be used as primitive hands allowing a decent amount of grasping and object manipulation.

Even though they are hermaphrodite in nature their bodies take on more of a feminine look than a masculine one. Curvy hips, breasts, long head hair and a feminine toned voice often get them mistook for female felitaurs which are an older genetically engineered species. Unlike said felitaurs a Chakat's fur pattern is mostly unique to the individual making it nearly impossible to tell who is a child of who from simple visual cues.

They have their downsides as well, the same protection against poisons makes them highly resistant to helpful medications from pain relievers to drugs to treat illnesses. Their bodies also demand a higher calorie count than a normal person even though they are able to digest more kinds of food than an average person. And their larger bodies make them slightly less tolerant to heat than a normal biped or even a normal human with the very efficient sweat mechanism.

Species Description Arancar:

Arancars are hollows who have had their masks partially broken or mostly removed and in the process of doing so they become more than nearly mindless beasts. This gives them back a semblance of humanity albeit in most cases a twisted psychotic or neurotic form of it. They also trade the high regeneration rate of their old hollow forms for an armor like skin resistant to damage. The majority of Arancar are created by Sosuke Aizen in his attempt to create an organization that could destroy the thirteen court guard squads and allow him to craft an item to take on the soul king. Like a soul reaper an Arancar carries a sword that stores the majority of their power but it differs in that the sword is simply a containment vessel. It has no will of its own and except for one special exception, only has a single release that allows the Arancar to take on a semblance of their original hollow form per-conversion powers an all.

Arancar strength is highly dependent on the strength of the hollow they were before the metamorphosis. Bellow Adjuchas class hollows create weak Arancars, Adjuchas class hollows can result in average to strong Arancars. It takes Vasto Lorde class hollows, the highest known class, to make incredibly powerful Arancars rivaling and even surpassing captains of the thirteen court guard squads. They still have a hollow hole somewhere on their body as well as the remains of their original hollow mask. Both can only be superficially hidden with clothing for example without negative physical effects. Like the Vasto Lorde hollow class Arancars no longer constantly hunger for the souls of the living or of other hollows. But they can still consume them to gain small increases in power and to heal bodily wounds slowly.

Lightstreak Description Normal Form:

Lightstreak stands five feet six inches tall and weighs the chakat standard of around three hundred and fifty pounds. Hir fur is primarily flat black with reflective highlights in it that looks like multi colored streaks of light. They go horizontally from front to back and get thinner the longer they go making them look like streaks of light which is how shi got hir name. Hir hair is kept mostly shoulder length and is colored the same as the streaks in hir fur and hir eyes are a golden yellow. Age wise shi looks like any chakat in their mid to upper thirties would.

The two most distinguishing characteristics on hir are the remnants of hir hollow mask which cover the left side of hir face from the nose tip to the ear. In the front of it one long saber tooth canine remains on it while hir left eye is half surrounded by it. And hir hollow hole which sits in the belly just above the joint between hir upper torso and lower torso. Shi doesn't mind going naked or wearing clothes except for one thing, shi always has to carry around hir sword Tigra in a leather sheath that straps to hir lower torso's belly.

Lightstreak Description Resurrection form:

Upon uttering hir release phrase Lightstreak transforms into a rough semblance of the Adjuchas class hollow shi was found in by Sosuke Aizen. Hir body is covered in stark bone white armor and hir head more resembles that of a smilodon with similar length canines with glowing gold eyes rather than a chakat. Shi gains another set of arms but instead of hands they have smaller eye less and ear less versions of hir head. Hir hands loose a finger while each finger and thumb is tipped with an inch long talon, at the same time both fore and rear feet on hir lower torso become hand like with a similar loss of a digit and growing of talons. Finally hir tail gains a pincer like stinger on it's tip while becoming segmented.

Origin:

Lightstreak started life like a normal chakat would, born to a loving dame and sire. shi wasn't an only child but loved just as much as hir siblings. Shi sadly does not remember hir parent's names and can only recall shapes and feelings from those carefree times. Lightstreak was in hir mid thirites and lived an average life in a respectable middle class family in the former United States and was well underway in making a decent sized clan for hirself when the unthinkable happened. To the outside world hir death was the result of a building collapse. The building was constructed in the reconstruction period after the horrible gene wars and did not follow any kind of standard. But what Lightstreak saw was a gigantic hollow and it ate hir on the spot on the way home from work.

Being eaten by a hollow is the quickest way to become a hollow yourself and become one shi did. While hir family mourned hir death shi mindlessly ate souls of the living and former living until one day shi hungered for the souls of other hollows. A new Menos was born from the feeding frenzy and after several years hir personality, now twisted into a more sadistic version of hirself won out over the countless other hollows inside the Menos and shaped it into hir Adjuchas form. Many more years passed as shi roamed the desert of eternal night that makes up Hueco Mundo. Hir empathy along with a new ability, the consumption of emotions for spiritual power, served hir well in hunting other Adjuchas class hollows and staying an Adjuchas hirself.

Then one day Souske Aizen along with Gin Ichimaru were out hot on a trail following a rumor of a possible Vasto Lorde they could 'persuade' to work for them and in their search they ran into hir. One short battle convinced them that shi would be a better asset to them alive than dead. While Lightstreak was no match for even one of them hir empathy allowed hir to see through Aizen's total illusion power of his sword. His sword had the ability to control the victims five normal senses and to see what he willed them to see, but it came into being before the creation of Chakats and the discovery of empathy. So it had no knowledge of it nor the ability to fool it. Lightstreak could simply tell what shi was seeing was fake and where the real Aizen and Ichimaru were by their emotional leakage. Aizen was also curious as to how the soul and the personality of a genetically engineered life form managed to get so far into hollow evolution.

Arancar Lightstreak was born and shi was every bit as psychotic and malicious as hir Adjuchas form if not more so. Delighting in feeling and then consuming the pain and anger of those shi attacked on the battlefield shi put hirself on the path of possibly becoming an Espada. But their were cracks in this personalty that were laid bare by same object that converted hir, This object granted the desires of those around it. Trapped inside a mental prison laid dormant hir memories and personality of the once living Lightstreak. It only had one desire, to return to hir family, to see them and hold them and stay with them once again. As time went by and Aizen continued to build his army Lightstreak would have dreams every night of this former life.

But they weren't dreams, no, they were memories leaking out of that prison until one night Lightstreak had a vivid lucid dream. Shi relived the moment shi died over and over again and as this went on the prison broke open and the normal Lightstreak regained control. Pushing the hollow personality into the deep dark recesses of hir mind shi awoke, first in a daze and then in shock as shi remembed everything that happened after shi was eaten in stunning clarity. That same night shi leaves Las Nochas throughly disgusted as what shi was and what shi had done.

Years pass as shi wandered aimlessly through the eternal night of Hueco Mundo. Lightstreak slowly came to terms with what shi was, learning how to suppress the part of hir that throughly disgusted hir, and at the same time yearning to return to hir family even if shi could not remember all of them. Mainly learning that shi needs to eat lesser hollows to stay in control and not let that other part of hirself take the reins again. During this time Aizen failed in his plans by being throughly defeated at the hands of Ichigo. Shi could even sense the battles taking place in Hueco Mundo but had no desire to take part in them. Not long afterwards a rift between worlds allowed hir along with several weaker hollows viable passage back to the world of the living. Lightstreak made quick work of them before rushing to find a spot to hide in as shi learned in hir years of wandering that soul reapers will attack first and maybe ask questions later.

Decades had actually passed since shi had died according to the first bit of news shi sees on a city square jumbo-tron. Hir loving mate must be approaching the twilight years of hir life and hir cubs have to now be fully grown with many cubs of their own. This saddened hir greatly but also made hir feel more desperate in finding them as shi wants to see hir mate before shi passes on. It wasn't long before shi managed to find a public terminal and figured out how to use it as well as discovering not 'everyone' can see or hear hir back in the living world. Not long after hir death Lightstreak's family and mate moved from the former United States to Australia fleeing rising inter species tensions.

Once Lightstreak managed to get there the reunion was a bitter sweet affair for hir. On the one paw shi could see the family thriving while at the same time some photos of hir lay scattered about the house on walls and tables showing that hir mate had never forgotten about hir and missed hir every day. On the other paw hir mate along with most of the family excluding the youngest cubs could neither see nor hear hir at all. Shi tried to console hirself that at least shi would be able to see them live and grow even if it was just as an observer. That lasted all of a week before shi snapped and grabbed hir now elderly mate's shoulders and shook hir violently.

To Lightstreaks surprise shi ripped out hir mate's soul and once shi stopped writhing in pain from the experence they were finally able to converse properly and close the time that had come between them. Putting hir back into hir body was another matter entirely and the rest of the family almost discovered their long-tail matriarch in a death like state in the bedroom because of it. Slowly through the following months shi does the same with hir now adult cubs and reunites with them.

Lightstreak isn't careful though, and during that same time the soul society notices a marked decresse in hollow activity in the city hir family now lives in. Something that should not happen under normal circumstances but they ignore it as more important matters appear on the radar. Till one day a low ranking soul reaper stumbles upon hir feasting on hir latest hollow victim so shi can both stay sane and protect hir family. Shi isn't able to stop him from escaping and shi knows something bad is going to happen.

That something appears two days later when in hir families back yard which boarders the outback both Byakuya Kuchiki and Renji Abarai appear startling the entire family. They state simply that they are under orders to kill Lightstreak as shi is an Arancar and those who can be found should be killed as threats to the Soul Society. The fight was inevitable and the outcome obvious despite the protests of Lightstreaks family as the two attacked hir and shi had no choice but to defend hirself. While stronger than shi was before, Lightstreak had to resort to resurrection to defend hirself and hir family. It hurt hir that this form scared them. It's only when Lightstreak uses hir body to block a stray kido spell from hitting the cowering family that Renji realizes something is amiss He realizes that Lightstreak is like a few other Arancars he knows and isn't really a danger to anyone.

He crosses swords with his captain by wrapping his banki, Soo Zabimaru, around the family and the injured Lightstreak. While at the same time and as a surprise to all, the youngest cubs of Lightstreak's family rise to the occasion in an attempt to defend their 'auntie' with Fullbringer like abilities that they had only recently started manifesting. Words and a tense stand off follow before Byakuya backs off and a deal is struck between Lightstreak and them. Shi is to stay off the radar of the Soul Society by only killing the hollows shi needs to survive leaving the rest for the lower soul reapers, and in return they will lie to the head captain about killing hir. If shi breaks the deal Byakuya promises to personally kill hir even if he has to spend years searching for hir.

Lightstreak keeps hir end of the agreement and stays with hir family before one fateful day a rift between dimensions sends hir to the world of Gaia.

Tigra:

Tigra is Lightstreak's sword and contains within it the sealed power of hir full hollow form. To release it shi speaks the command phrase 'Roar at the dying of the light, Tigra' and then brings it up to hir mouth before taking a bite out of it. The blade is four and a half feet long and is single edged tapering off into a sharp point at the tip but the most interesting feature is the handle. Nearly two feet long in its self the handle has many curves and edges that allow hir to grip it with hir hands, fore-paws, and even tail if need be.

Powers:

Empathy: Lightstreak is able to sense and feel the emotions of those around hir as well as project hir own to influence others. Hir talent level is a three meaning shi can do this at a respectable distance of many feet from the person or people around hir.

Emotion Consumption: Turning into a Hollow has twisted a portion of hir empathy into a new ability. Shi can consume the emotions of those around hir and utilize this energy to heal hirself or provide a boost in combat. Each emotion tastes different to hir and gives hir a varying degree of energy, stronger emotions such as anger or love give hir more power than calmness or sadness for example.

Cero: Shi can concentrate hir spiritual pressure into pure energy and fire it in a loosely defined beam at whoever shi wishes. When shi does this the color of the beam is burnt orange and while inexperienced shi knows how to vary it's output.

Sonido Practitioner: Shi can use hir spiritual pressure to move exceptionally fast and to the untrained eye it looks like teleportation but it is not. Hir sonido is not as fast as many other Arancar's, especially the espada's but it gets the job done and with possible training shi could go faster.

Hierro: Under hir fur Lightstreak has armor like skin that can protect hir from many minor attacks but is easily pierced by moderate strength powers.

Bala: a smaller and faster version of a Cero, Lightstreak can fire these from hir hands and forepaws in rapid succession. One of hir favorite tactics is to keep hir opponent busy with hir blade while holding it either in hir hands or forepaws and bombarding them with bala's with which ever of the two is free.

Resurrection: This ability allows hir to release the stored power in hir sword and assume a semblance of hir former hollow form along with an increase in power, speed, and defense. This form also gives hir access to two more abilities.

Guillotine: Hir tail in hir resurrection form can lengthen and shorten at will. Enabling hir to strike with the bladed pincers on the tip to slice into or off limbs, Shi can even send it underground and up through hir opponent's feet.

Photon Slash: The longer shi stays in resurrection form the more photons hir body can absorb and concentrate in hir claws. When fully charged shi can hit hir opponents with the photon particle's collective energy mixed with hir own power. Lightstreak doesn't know how to fully utilize this power and while it is powerful enough to cut through some of the toughest defenses it drains hir completely and forces hir back to normal form. So shi prefers not to use it if at all possible. When it's fully charged the claws on hir hands and feet seem to absorb the surrounding light.

Current location: Shi currently resides inside the combination Pokemon center, Welcome center, Robotic center on the dark-land continent on the planet Gaia inside a small nexus dimension. Hir family has since moved to Chakona from earth and due to the lack of hollows on Chakona shi can only visit them for a short while.
