#11 of Foxy and Kitty

Giggles filled the air as Foxy felt himself slip more and more off the bed. Soon a voice confirmed his sleepy suspicions.

"C'mon Foxy! Get up sleepy head!" She paused to laugh as he covered his head with a pillow. "We got things to do! Sides, I'm gettin' bored!"

That got his attention and he peaked out from under the pillow to mutter. "That can't be good."

Kitten was grinning at him. "Of course not! So get over here and let's go do something."

He finally gave in and sat up in bed, his head furr rumpled and his eyes barely open. He noticed after a few moments how early it was. "Why are you up so early? I thought you'd be as tired as me."

Kitten blushed a bit at his reference to what she'd done yesterday. "Well I got more than enough sleep. I'm bored with you being asleep, so c'mon."

Foxy laughed at that. "Sorry my sleeping habits don't please you, Your Highness."

Kitten grinned impishly. "You're forgiven." She flippantly turned away and padded towards to stairs. Foxy got out of bed, looking at her back curiously as he padded in just his undies behind her.

As she climbed the stairs in front of him he asked his question. "Why were you up early?" He looked at her tail in concern (it was the only thing at his level). "You never wake up early after a day of yiff."

Kitten padded through the living room and even the sleepy Foxy noticed how she avoided looking at the room in general. She finally answered that she'd woken up and not been tired, so she'd just gotten out of bed. He gave her profile a flat look as she headed for the open kitchen area.

"Yeah. Right." He got out pots and pans for making breakfast- he never ate, but he always made her some, occasionally he ate some of it. This morning he might, yiffing always made him hungry. So he missed the apologetic look on her face before she plopped down on the stool and he looked up from mixing eggs.

"So what're we gunna do?" Kitten dimpled over at him, he immediately gave her an exasperated look. "You woke me up and you have no idea what you want to do?"

Kitten grinned and nodded. "I said I was bored- if I knew what I wanted to do, I'd have done it before. You always have good ideas."

Foxy reached over to tweak her nose. "Maybe I'll just tickle you all day." He giggled as she hopped off the stool and ran a little ways away. In just the same tone he asked, "So why couldn't you sleep last night."

The ploy worked because she answered him. "Had a bad- or rather good dream." She realized what he'd done, and she looked at Foxy, startled she'd given it away, then she frowned. "Well you aren't getting anything else for being so sneaky." She stuck out her tongue at him.

He simply grinned her way as he poured the omelet into the pan. "So what was the dream about?"

Kitten came back to sit on the stool dejectedly. "It was just disappointing to wake up from."

Foxy nodded as he picked up the pan and moved it around so that the eggs would cook evenly, then set it back down. "Dreams do that sometimes."

The eggs finished cooking and as they ate Foxy tried to get her to tell him what the dream had been about, but he never got her to tell him. Whatever it was, she was trying hard to forget it, he thought later as she playfully raced him along the beach. He decided he'd do his best to help her. And it worked.

Kitten sat at her art table with a smile- today she was sketching, improving her skills mostly. She was doodling actually, at the moment she was sketching an image of Teffy, sitting at the table as he had been when they'd first met. She smiled at the picture. She hadn't had the guts to go online yet and talk to him. She may be trying to forget the dream, but talking to Teffy wouldn't help any.

She felt a paw suddenly brush her hair off her shoulder and she was about to object when a kiss landed where her hair just was. At first excited thrill ran up her spine when she instinctually thought it was Teffy. Her eyes when a bit wide then she heard Kain's voice and she blushed vividly at her own mistake.

"Sketching? I didn't know you could draw." He leaned forward and saw who she was drawing before she was able to put it away. "And rather well too. Hey! I saw that rabbit the other day at the club with his friends." Kitten felt his curious eyes on her.

"You know him?"

Kitten nodded absently. "Met him before we moved here. He's a friend of mine, but we only talk online now because of the distance."

Kain nodded. "Are you ready?"

Kitten smiled up at him. "Yep." She stood, she had dressed a little more sturdily than usual and she wore a pair of dark, tight fitting jeans, and a red baby t-shirt that said "Sex Kitten" in elaborate black letters. On her feet were the only pair of boots she owned, a black pair with thick bottoms and a zipper that kept them on her.

Kain grinned as she casually walked ahead of him to the door. Damn, but she was sexy when she wasn't realizing it. His heart did a little flop. He sure hoped she'd decided what she'd wanted out of their relationship because he couldn't stand knowing he'd taken her virginity and that she might hate him for it. She didn't look as though she did, but he knew better than anyone, that most females were good at hiding things.

Kitten had written Foxy a note and they were walking down the driveway when she asked where they were going.

"You'll find out, it's a surprise." Kain half smiled at her.

Kitten grinned at him happily. "Ooo, I love surprises." He mounted the bike and she mounted it right behind him. "It's a good one right?" She asked this absently and he laughed.

"Yes, It's a good surprise." He grinned as he slipped his shades back on and roared off, chuckling as he felt her tighten her arms around his middle in alarm. He may be with Kitten, but he was still Kain.

Soon he felt a hard poke in his ribs scolding him and he laughed hard, the sound trailing behind them as they sped away from beach.

Kitten watches the scenery curiously, enjoying the solid precense in front of her on the bike. She frowned in confusion- why were they in the outskirts of town. The first thing she saw was a huge white rectangle rising from the overgrown ground underneath it. She now understood where they were going and she commented aloud to Kain, her mouth right next to his ear in order to be heard.

"The old drive in? Isn't this abandoned?"

Kain grinned and glanced back at her momentarily before looking forward again and called back. "Exactly."

She wasn't sure why he wanted to take her here, it was rundown and the field where the speakers had been was overgrown badly, but he didn't head that way, he headed directly for the projector house.

She was still frowning in confusion when they stopped and he dismounted and led the way to the side of the building. Kain simply smiled, his eyes twinkling with his secret, and he motioned for her to climb a ladder he'd set up to the roof. She tilted her head at him curiously, then gave in and climbed the ladder, Kain right behind her. Kain couldn't help a stroke on her tail as she paused at the top, gasping at the sight on top.

Kain smiled warmly as she finally climbed onto the roof. HE knew the sight that would greet him on the roof- one he'd worked hard to put into being. A large soft quilt was laid out and several small candles were lit, surrounding the light square in the darker night and spread out on one part of the large seating area was several covered plates. At one corner was a small telescope.

Kitten turned to him her eyes full of emotion and she hugged him.

Kain smiled softly and took her paw, leading her to blanket, and then sat down so that they were cuddled up- Kitten's back to his front. He sat back and smiled as she uncovered the plates curiously, revealing one with several kinds of cheeses, cut up, another with slices of delicious smelling bread, and the third with several kinds of fruit cut up. He chuckled as he felt her purr as she bit into a white cheese.

"Mmmmm... Taste this!" She turned around to feed him some and he held back laughter as he ate the rest of it. He mentally shook his head at her- she was something else. Her eyes danced at him and all he'd done was a picnic on the roof. Her tail- what wasn't pinned between them- was flicking happily as she ate some seedless watermelon.

Soon the food was mostly gone and Kain supported them both on arms braced behind him as Kitten leaned back against him happily.

They'd taken a few breaks to look through the telescope and they'd shared what stars and constellations they both knew. Now Kain frowned softly as he asked the question that was back on his mind. "What did you decide about us?"

Kitten ducked her head and blushed a bit, but answered clearly. "I want to take a it slow, so I can get to know you."

Kain smiled, he was still a bit worried if such an innocent would want him after she really got to know him, but at least she was giving him a chance. One more question before he let the subject go.

"I can live with that." He replied softly. "But I was wondering why you'd given you virginity to me."

Kitten stiffened in surprise.

Kain smiled a bit and answered her unspoken question. "I'm a white tiger remember? Red tends to show up on white rather well."

Kitten blushed vividly and was glad for the dim lighting. "Oh. The spur of the moment, that's why. I wanted you so much that I couldn't think of any reason not to."

Kain smiled into the darkness and leaned forward slightly to kiss her hair. "I can live with that." He replied softly and wrapped his arms around her.

They stayed like that for a few minutes before Kitten pondered out loud to him, her eyes on the huge drive in screen. "Its too bad this place doesn't work anymore, I'd love to see one of those old comedy films on that."

Kain grinned widely. "It doesn't?" With that he got up and hung over the side of the roof, alarming Kitten before he got back up a few moments later. Kitten heard rhythmic coming from below them and suddenly the screen filled with credits for "A day at the Races".

Kitten squealed in delight and alarmed Kain when she pounced him, knocking him off balance. He was compensated with a sound kiss, however and he relaxed, looking at her with an amused expression.

"You're good!" Just as suddenly she was off of him and sitting on the quilt, knees drawn up and watching the film.

He chuckled and got up and padded over to sit next to her, one knee drawn up to support one of his

arms. He put the other around her loosely and settled in to watch the movie with her.

It was amazing how this simple outing gave him more pleasure than any amount of one-night stands. He smiled. Yep- he had it bad.
