"Lampent?" Lampent looked around for Glaceon but it was nowhere to be found, Gabe was greatly confused (how did Glaceon just dissapear like that).

"Glaceon has snow cloak and can easily avoid your attacks as long as its snowing, Glaceon shadow ball" Rain said as she smiled calmly. Behind Lampent's back a shadow ball fired at it as iit took huge amounts of damage, "Lampent!" Gabe yelled as it stood up from the attack.

"Not bad, your Lampent is pretty strong, but defeat is inevitable, Glaceon finish this with icy wind!" Rain said as Glaceon breathed a miniature blizzard at Lampent easily knocking it out.

"Lampent is unable to battle, Rain's Glaceon is the winner!" the refiree shouted.

"You did great Lampent, take a nice rest" Gabe said as Lampent returned in its pokeball.

"You're gonna need more than just type advantage, to become a succesful trainer" Rain said as her cold stare pierced his heart. Gabe knew this was definitely not going to be an easy battle, tension rose into the air as Gabe thought of his next move. His thought process was interrupted with Mint's voice cheering in the background, "Chikorita!!" Mint shouted, cheering for her friend.

Gabe looked back and nodded gaining his courage back, "I won't give up yet!" Gabe said as he pulled a new pokeball from his bag.

The ray of light shone upon the battlefield, as a ghostly silhouette appeared gazing upon the rock Pokemon.

"Alright Boldore, we can do this, flash cannon let's go!" Gabe said as Boldore gained a steel texture and shot a beam of silver at Froslass.

"Froslass dodged it and then use shadow ball!" Rain said as Froslass dodged it gracefully, and then charged a ball of darkness before firing it at Boldore. "Boldore, intercept with power gem!" Gabe shouted as Boldore shot out glistening gems, that exploded in contact with shadow ball.

"Boldore break through that ice and hit it with rock blast" Gabe said as Boldore tore through the ice, as it charged up a few rocks before firing them off at Froslass.

"Froslass, ominous wind" Rain said as Froslass, fired off a dark gust swiftly moving at at Boldore.

"Alright Mint let's do this!" Gabe said with confidence, he knew he could beat this gym as long as he didn't lose hope.

"Cryogonal ice shard!" Rain commanded as Cryogonal froze the air and shot its pieces of glass at Mint.

"Now use ice beam and finish this!" Rain said as Cryogonal fired off an ice beam towards Mint, freezing the grass Pokemon before shattering the block of ice into many fragments.

"Cryogonal is unable to battle, that means Gabe and his Bayleef are the winner" The refiree shouted, a bit suprised that Gabe did win despite his young age.

"Wow, guess you proved me wrong" Rain said smiling warmly, as she offered a handshake.

"Thank you, it was great battle! Gabe said happily as he shook Rain's cold hand.
