CHAPTER 2

SKATEDIVING AND SKYBOARDING

---

Kiseki could feel himself being stretched and turned into a strange form as he was slightly, roughly pulled into some hole in time, and reformed back to his normal cat form as he arrived in the digital world that was Techno's mind.

Kiseki gazed in wonder as he floated around in the infinite space,

"Wow, it's been a while since I've seen the hard drive."

Techno nodded his head and let go of Kiseki's hand, "Yeah, it's been a while since we've both been here. Usually I just transport us to our destination, but hey!" Suddenly, Kiseki started to float away and struggled to grab back at Techno's hand, and the husky grabbed him back, "Woah, careful."

"Yeah, sorry. Kinda hard to control where I'm floating." he said.

"Here, let me..." Techno said, his marks glowing again as the bottomless pit beneath them turned into a flat surface that carefully raised to their feet so they could stand on it.

Kiseki landed onto the platform and sighed, "Thank you." Techno smiled and nodded his head, looking around once more, "So, what did you want to do again?"

The feline looked over at Techno and paused, then remember, "Oh, right. Sorry. During my visit with Joel, he mentioned something about skydiving, and I told him I always wanted to go skydiving. Joel then mentioned that I could probably go skydiving with the help of your powers, right?"

Techno waited for a second, motionlessly, then looked back over at his friend,

"Oh yeah. I forgot he knew about them." he said.

"Because of our incident..." Kiseki said.

The dog sighed, "That was a rough one, wasn't it? Anyways, you wanna go skydiving? I can take you." he said with a smile.

Kiseki chuckled and started walking back over to Techno has the whole black infinite around them shifted and the green marking surrounding them exploded into a swirling tornado, and all they could hear now was the cutting of the digital particles flying into the air at an incredible speed. Once Kiseki was right next to Techno, they both held hands once again, and stood side by side, and started to sit down.

Finally, the particles around them exploded and died to dust and nothing,

and revealed that they were now sitting inside a helicopter way up in the sky.

Kiseki got a shiver up his spine as the fresh air outside started flying in and out of the helicopter, making both the dog and the cat's fur wave in the air. Techno looked at Kiseki and Kiseki looked at him, they were both wearing skydiving gear and ready to make the jump. Once a green light flashed over the main exit door, the two stood up and slid the doors open, looking downwards. But, Techno looked at Kiseki, "How do you wanna do this?"

and a list suddenly appeared in Kiseki's face,

with the options Limited, Bottomless, and Floating.

Kiseki chuckled and held out his paw towards the list, "I think Bottomless sounds interesting." and he pressed his paw upon the button as more green particles exploded softly out of the button and quickly sped down to the bottom, turning it into a black pit beneath them, but the same sky they always knew in the real world. It was as if they were just raised even higher.

Techno held Kiseki's hand, "Ready?"

Kiseki nodded his head, "I'm the one who wanted to do this!"

and they jumped.

As they started to fall, the helicopter disintegrated into green particles and back into Techno, his green markings glowing for a seconds, and going back to normal. They continued falling, and Techno already went for a front flip, and Kiseki rolled over to Techno and he caught him so he didn't pass by too far, and they rolled together.

Techno then quickly made it so they could hear each other more clearly through the gust of wind they were crashing into, Kiseki spoke, "I have an awesome idea!"

"What'd that be?" Techno asked.

Kiseki let go of Techno, "Skate park in the sky!"

Techno understood and made pieces of skating rails, ramps, and more, appear where they needed to do some tricks. Then, Techno held out both of his arms and let out some particles, creating two skateboards for the both of them, both having the design of a classic black skateboard, yet having some glowing green marks on them. It reminded Kiseki of Tron, somehow.

Techno threw a skateboard to Kiseki as he caught it back,

"Alright, let's do some grinding then!" he announced as he landed on a rail almost immediately and slid down, hoping off and kicking the skateboard in front of himself, and front flipping, sliding it beneath him again as he ended his flip and landing on another rail, hopped towards a ramp in front of the rail and jumped it, the ramp making him do a backflip and landing on another rail which made him do a loop with his momentum so he passed the ramp and continued his free-falling.

After Techno's trick, Kiseki laughed maniacally as he fell with his skateboard downwards and landed on a rail, around the end of the ramp jumping off and doing a few front flips and it was almost as if everything had went into slow motion as suddenly, Techno was flying by on his skate board, the two having a moment to high-five, and Kiseki felt a tingle go through his body starting from his wrist, and his eyes glowed green for a second and back to the normal shade of yellow, as he made the skateboard fly back to him, using his new powers gifted from Techno, and Kiseki landed on another coming rail with another front flip and slid downwards, planning another trick.

Two two kept up like this for a while until they purposely ran into each other softly and held on, the two looking tired in the face, Kiseki panted in exhaustion, "I'm ready to land. How about you?"

Techno nodded his head, "Yeah, I think I've had my fill of awesomeness."

and the two suddenly popped away in particles, back into the hard drive.
