#1 of Feral Fury

This is a science fiction story I have decided to write, and will be the first thing I have ever contributed to the furry fandom! It may be very slow coming, but if you enjoy it tell me so, I will make an effort to write more!

"Please give a warm welcome to Dr. Aleksandr Stone; the head developer, coordinator, and original mastermind behind the HA Project"

Dr. Stone approaches the podium from stage right as the MC steps down, seating himself beside his wife of 3 years.

"Thank you, thank you" the doctor starts, clearing his throat as the crowd's applause fades. "I am proud to report the success of our Human-Animal Project. Our one-thousandth HA was just pulled out of its embryonic ASIL and is now a two-month-old infant, her birth certificate now registered in the Institute's database."

More applause, accompanied with cheering and whistling for the hybrid child's "birth".

"We are ceasing the creation of HA's for the most part. They, as per our plans, will stay on the Institute, free to do as they will. That is, of course, with the exception of the fifty special projects we keep desperate from desperate population.

"As for the other 950, sexual reproduction will become the source of new HA's. Several of the females among our population are already pregnant, and will be giving birth in less than three months in some cases.

"Now, I shift to the subject of visitation... it has been a popular request, and it may soon become a possibility. Personally, I don't like it. However, I am inclined to allow those who have supported and supplied us to see the fruits of their investment."

This brought the loudest bout of cheering and applause from the group, as all the members of the audience were major investors in the Project.

"And finally, I would like to announce that one of our secret projects, A-177 has proven to be mentally and physically capable of effectively operating a Class-2 mecha.

"Amazing things are happening ladies and gentlemen... and I must return to them. Gutennacht!" Aleksandr steps down and walks straight for the door, weaving through people and ignoring their questions.

Why should he bother answering anyway? All that would come of it is more questions.

So he leaves.
