Hello here is the second story I have been working on! Hope you like please comment, rate, and fave :D. Enjoy!

It all happened so fast, like within a few seconds. Blinking his amethyst eyes the young male could hear muffled voices all around him. "Hang in...-id!"

What?

"You-...be... -kay?"

What the hell?

He thought only to feel a sharp prick in his arm earning a hiss between his lips. As his vision cleared he could have sworn he was looking into the face of an angel. The bright orange fur, the white fur countering under the bright counterpart that grew out to a long muzzle that sat a cute black nose there but something else had truly caught his attention.

Eyes. Bright glistening green eyes.

"Everything is going to be okay."

As a mask was placed over his maw he felt sleepy but that smile was the last thing he saw before total darkness set in.

It had been two months since that night. Rubbing where the stab wound was on his side Mikita sighed as there was nothing but a healing scar there that took up at least a few inches up his right side. The events of that night had long since passed however one thing remained on his mind, a pair if green eyes. The young mouse could tell a fox had saved him and followed him to the hospital but after going to sleep he didn't see him again.

"Mikita! Caramel frappe, vente!" His co-worker named Chris called out for him.

"On it!" The male squeaked as he worked the till, the smell of fresh coffee waffering into his nose.

The morning and lunch rush had long since come and gone, his friend now on break leaving him to man the register. As Mikita listened to some cheesy song playing the bell rang over the door making the white fur smile and looked over to greet the customer but it seemed like time stood still. He was tall, buff, and delicious. As he stood there frozen it took a few minutes to register the sly smirk gracing that black muzzle, "Its nice to see you're back on your feet, its been a long while Mikita."

Opening and closing his mouth it took the male a while to even make a sound but once he finally regained his voice a loud squeak escaped him. Wide eyed the two males stood there in silence till the fox began to chuckle then laugh making the mouse wish he could go invisible right at that embarrassing moment.

"What was that? That was so cute." The fox teased shaking his head lightly controlling himself. "You probably don't remember me fro-"

"I-I do remember!" Kita quickly blurted out feeling a little more confident and curious of the visitor. "How can I possibly forget...I always wanted to some day thank you properly but you had left before I woke up."

Tilting his ears back Jase did feel bad that he had left Mikita before he had awakened but at the time he had no choice. He didn't know why but he had felt so very drawn to the mouse, when he saw him on that cold ground getting beaten he just snapped and needed to save him. He had been taken off the case when he seemed to be showing personal feelings but either was there was something so different about the little mouse in front of him and being a police detective he'd do everything in his power to find out. Looking at the expecting purple eyes of the little mouse Jase smiled feeling warmth that radiated from the tips of his ears all the way down to the very tips of his toes.

"When are you on break?" The officer asked seeing the other glancing at the clock.

"In ten minutes."

"How's about you bring over a chai tea latte and your favorite drink over to me then we can talk a little while as a thank you? That is if you want to..." The fox slyly smiled watching the little mouse's every move, it seemed to feel like ages to Jase awaiting for his answer but a nod had put his nerves to rest making his bushy tail wag in excitement and relief.

"S-Sure I suppose that's fair, I'd really love to." Shyly smiling Mikita could feel his cheeks reddening under his white fur making him feel even more self conscious than ever.

"Great I'll be waiting." Pointing in the direction he'd be sitting he slowly started to walk backwards not wanting to let the male out of his sight, but he had to turn around to find a seat seeing one closest to where the other would usually be.

Watching the curious vulpine Mikita found concentrating on his job to be a little more difficult now. He served a few more customers but every time he'd look up his purple eyes would meet the stunning green that had simply sent tremors through every inch of his body. Softly smiling Jase had sent an even bigger smile back causing his cheeks to flush and quickly look away. This little game went on the whole ten minutes making the rodent's face rival the color of a ripe tomato.

"Oi! Mikita its your turn! Go take a break." Patting his shoulder Chris, a large muscular husky, smiled down at his friend. "Thanks Chris!" Taking the two cups he had just finished filling the small male looked up to see that Jase had changed seats.

Walking over to the more quieter part of the room the mouse offered a friendly smile before taking a seat across from the fox setting the cup down in from of him. "Thank you, what did you get yourself if I may ask." Taking a sip the fox softly purred in delight of tasting something warm and sweet however something else came to mind.

"The same thing, I really love chai tea lattes and green tea lattes but when I was making yours I couldn't help but to make one for myself." Blowing some steam from the cup Mikita took a small sip as he noticed the officer wasn't in uniform. "Is...this your day off off-?" Feeling a finger to his lips instantly silenced the young male as he stared deep into those emerald gems to see a serious but playful look.

"Jase...not officer. As long as I'm not in uniform you can just call me Jase and yes this is my day off." the male softly spoke as he continued to keep his finger against Mikita's lips simply enjoying its warmth and smoothness. As soon as the mouse gave him a nod in understanding he smirked gently rubbing his fingers over those sweet lips he removed it taking his time. "Good boy."

"J-Jase..." The mouse softly spoke out feeling as the name easily rolled off his tongue. It felt right. "It suits you so perfectly, s-so you're a... I mean you must have an exciting job."

"Nah, its mostly kinda boring but it's a passion. Always wanted to be a cop since I was a kit." The large male pointed out lightly smiling taking a sip of the tea.

Just that thought made Mikita smile imagining a younger Jase playing cops and robbers. "I see it must be really nice."

"What about you? What do you like to do Mikita?"

"I like to paint and cook, ever since I was little. I was recently at a art college but stuff didn't workout too well so I'm working as an apprentice here till I find a new school to go to." Poking at a loose thread on his shirt he lightly blushed never telling people much about his school life.

"Cooking huh? I would love to see some of your paintings sometime and sample your sweets." Wriggling his brows the fox earned the cutest blush from Mikita seeing he caught on to what he was implying.

"Easy boy! You haven't even asked me to dinner yet." The mouse laughed trying to cover his face with his paw.

"Would you like to go out to dinner with me?" The fox spoke out easily seeing the other nearly fall out of his seat.

Staring hard at the vulpine Mikita knew that most would say this was going too fast but at that moment all he could say was to hell with them. Shyly smiling his violet eyes met green as he softly nodded his head. "I'd love to."

The rest of the break he felt like he was on cloud nine spending time getting to know his date more and even flirting a little. It has been a long while since he's felt so at ease with another person. Jase was not only drop dead gorgeous but easy to talk to. Laughing at an interesting story about a ice pack, moped, and a speedo Mikita could hardly believe the things Jase got into. "Well I've never had a broken bone but I had a friend break his leg playing soccer and he hated it. It was interesting watching him try to put his pants on!" Giggling the white mouse looked over to see his friend signaling for him to get back to work.

The fox saw this as he smiled and gave the young male a card with a number scribbled on the back. "I'm glad we could finally meet Mikita, it has really brighten up my boring day. This card has my work number but my personal number is on the back. Only use my work number for emergencies please. I gotta head off now so I'll see you later tonight okay? I'll pick you up here and take you home then we can head out to dinner." Leaning over Jase kissed the mouse's cheek and let out a pleasing growl into his ear. "Call me."

As Jase left Kita sat frozen still able to smell that sexy musk left from the fox and the tingling of his skin where his cheek had been kissed making him smile.

"Oi! Mikita come on!"

Getting up Mikita had a bounce in his step and a sway in his hips as not even Chris' teasing smirk and bantering could ruin his mood. Patting the card securely in his pocket he smiled lightly as he, for once, had something other than a bath to look forward to after work. Then again with a hunky wet vulpine in his tub with some candles was indeed a very good idea.
