Don McHert sighed loudly as he finished up the last few touches on the old clock dropping the magnifying glass and taking off his glasses. Eight and a half hours it took him to fix the old clock for his father. He had been meaning to do it for a while now, but pushed it off for a while because he knew that it'd take him forever before he was done. Instead of working on the computer like he normally did most of the day, he worked on the clock and was surprised at how quickly he got the task done; he was expecting to be up until well past midnight, but as he glanced at the digital clock sitting on a pail of papers next to his computer, it read only 10:32pm.

The coyote leaned back in his chair, letting his eyes wonder over his desk until they came to rest upon his phone. He normally sets his phone in the drawer with it on silent, but ever since he's met the raccoon three months ago at the strip club, he couldn't help but look forward to whenever Geo might call just to say hi.

They've grown quite attached to each other over time and saw each other periodically for a drink or just to hang out. For a while, it was just Don talking about his failing relationship with his wife, but once he felt he was irritating the raccoon, they moved on to more 'shared' topics that made them grow in their friendship. At first, Don was unsure of himself hanging out with a clearly gay man, but after a while, he calmed himself down and said that there was nothing wrong with it, the raccoon never seemed to hit on him anyways, though, Don wouldn't know what it would be like to get hit on by another male.

His wife never seemed to wonder or care where the coyote went in his free time or who he was going to hang out with, which was good on Don's part because he wouldn't be sure how to explain that he was going out to be with a man that he met at a gay strip club.

Don would sometimes go over to the raccoon's house to play card games or drink with him, sometimes he'd stop by the bookstore that Geo worked at across the street just to pay him a visit on slow work days.

Without taking his eyes off from is phone, Don snatched up the device and turned it on. If the raccoon wasn't going to contact him, he might as well contact the raccoon. He touched the directory icon at the bottom of his screen and a list of names dropped in chronological order. He scrolled down until he found the name Ace and touched it. The reason he titled Geo's number 'Ace' was because he wasn't sure if his wife would go through his phone, and if she did, she wouldn't be able to put Ace and Geo together. He got the name from the Ace of Spades that was plastered on the raccoon's thongs and thought it'd be cleaver to use that for a cover name.

Opening a message bubble, Don began typing; asking if the raccoon was working tonight or not.

Without having to wait too long, the coyote's phone vibrated and chimed softly as another bubble inflated on the screen in front of him. The message read; naw, took the night off to chill. y? wanna come ovr?;P

Don thought about it. All he really wanted to do was just have some kind of conversation with Geo, but if he was offering and inviting him over, why refuse? Not where I was going with this, He typed. but sure, why not!

The coyote pushed himself out of his chair and walked out of his study. As he walked down the short hall, he noticed that most of the lights were out except for a dim lamp in the living room and the television. Rose was sitting on the couch in the living room with her reading glasses on and a book on her lap with the TV on a low volume. Don didn't say anything as he threw on his jacket and grabbed his car keys.

"Where you going...?"

Don's ear flicked as he heard Rose's voice; a voice he didn't often hear. "Out," he said simply.

The wolf was quiet for a moment longer and Don took that opportunity to open the door and be ready to walk out. "Let her know I said hi..."

Don froze. Is that what she thought? She thought he was sneaking out for some other women. The coyote slowly closed the door and glanced over his shoulder. "It's not like that." He said, hurt that she had so little faith in him.

The wolf just nodded unconvinced as she continued to "read" her book without looking at him once.

"Rose," he said, turning so that his body now faced her and trying to get her attention. "I'm not cheating on you, I'm bored so I'm just going out to see a friend, that's it."

Rose looked up from her book for a split second and looked into his eyes. He looked back and could see what she was saying with just her look; 'you liar'

Don shook his head in frustration. "Fuck it," he mumbled, turning on his heel and marching out the door, slamming it shut behind his tail.

The coyote jumped into his car and sped off, not bothering with his seatbelt or speed limit signs, he just wanted to get to Geo's as fast as possible. The raccoon didn't live too far away, but even with the short distance and Don's speeding, it still took the coyote a good seven/ten minutes before he pulled into the raccoon's driveway. But as he pulled in, he noticed that a car that he didn't recognize was parked in front of Geo's house as well. Did the raccoon have company (other than himself)?

Hopping out of the car and walking up the porch to the front door, Don knocked a few times and heard the click of the door's lock before it opened wide to reveal a smiling, good looking raccoon standing in the doorway. He wore dark blue jeans and a simple black T-shirt that said 'kiss me cuz I'm cute' with a small cartoon fox sitting at the bottom of the letters. "Howdy stranger," he greeted the coyote, his light accent still somehow foreign to Don's ears. "C'mon in! I invited a few friends to help us make this night a little more enjoyable."

Don stepped into the familiar wooden floored living room. The room was a bit smaller than Don's living room, but the kitchen was directly connected in the back where as Don's is separated by a wall and open window.

He looked over to the couch to see two younger looking girls talking to each other while sitting cross-legged and facing each other. "Girls," Geo said after closing the door behind Don. "This is Don, that guy I was tellin' ya'all 'bout. Don this is Kaitlin," he jestered to a perky looking tabby. "and Alex," he pointed to the silver furred mouse, who smiled and waved when her name was announced.

"Hi," Don said, smiling and waving briefly. He felt his jacket come off due to Geo's soft hands peeling it off his body before he turned and hung it on a coatrack that stood next to the door.

"He_is_ cute..." the mouse whispered to the tabby loud enough for Don to hear. The other girl giggled and nodded.

"He's also MARRIED!" Geo reminded the girls as he plopped down on the couch that sat parallel to the one that the girls sat on. He padded the cushion next to him for Don to come and sit, so he did, a little shy and awkward at meeting two new people.

For the better part of an hour, Don just sat on the couch and talked with the girls and Geo, getting to know the new people a bit better and them better know him. Kaitlin had just recently graduated from college and started her career as a doctor and Alex had a part-time job as a cashier at a Starbucks and lived with her boyfriend who was a car mechanic.

"So what do you do?" Alex asked, taking another swig of her bottled beer.

Don stratched behind his neck. "Ehhh, nothing too interesting. I work for Google and various other supporting websites and sometimes help out phone companies. So basically a lot of number crunching."

"OKAY I'M BORED!" Kaitlin said randomly as she picked up a pillow and held it to her chest. "TIME FOR TRUTH OR DARE!"

"Noooooooooooo," Geo groaned, dropping his head back behind the back of the couch. "Not this damned game again. I always end up kissin' someone..." he mumbled that last part, but Don heard it clearly.

"Too bad, you're playing!" the tabby said, then pointed to Don. "And so are you!"

Don sat up straighter on the couch. "I haven't played this game in forever..."

"Alright!" Kaitlin said, kicking Geo in the shin once to get him to sit back up. "Here's how it's going down! It's gonna be girls verses boys-"

"Or awesome verses losers," Alex intervened.

"Or uglys verses studs." Geo replied with a self-amused grin.

Don snickered and Alex was going to argue when Kaitlin continued. "It's gonna be girl's verses boys and if we lose, we're your guy's slaves for one chosen day. Vic versa if you guys lose, deal? Rules are; you always have to answer truthfully and always do whatever you're dared to do. You boys can start."

Geo nudged Don's shoulder. "You wanna give 'em somethin'?"

The coyote thought about it for a second, scratching his chin and looking up to the ceiling. He was unsure what to say, he was never really good at truth or dare when he played it in middle-school and didn't expect himself to be much better now. "Uhhh... Truth or dare?"

Kaitlin and Alex looked at each other briefly before turning back and say; "Truth," in perfect unison.

Now what should he ask them... "What was the... um... saddest day you can remember?"

Geo chuckled, drawing Don's attention. "That's not the way these girl's play, buddy," he looked back to the girls with a smirk. "How many people have you fucked in high school?"

"Twelve," Alex said right off the bat and almost sounding proud of herself.

"Twenty nine..." Kaitlin said quietly. Don's eyes darted over to the tabby in shock. She fucked twenty nine guys in high school?

"Alright, our turn!" Alex said. "Truth or dare?"

"Dare," Geo said, throwing his hands behind his head and waiting for the girl's dare.

Alex and Kaitlin looked at each other, almost in surprise before Alex got an evil twinkle in her eye. "I dare you and Kaitlin to a drinking contest!"

"What?" the tabby said, looking from the raccoon to the mouse.

Geo smiled and got up. He walked over to his refrigerator on the other side of the room and pulled out a bottle of liquor and two shot glasses. "Don," Alex said. "Keep count on how many he downs, okay?"

~*~

Geo had trouble standing upright as he waved vigorously to Ales and Kaitlin as they got into their vehicle. 28 shots Kaitlin took before she got up and darted to the bathroom to throw it all up. She was drunk as hell when she came out though. Geo, on the other hand, had ingested 34 shots and was ready for more when Kaitlin went off into the bathroom. He was no by no doubt drunk out of his mind, but he had somehow managed to hold his liquor pretty well.

Don stood next to the still waving raccoon, even after the girls had been gone, and looked down at his phone to check the time; 1:21am. He looked back up to see Geo, still waving at nothing. "... I think their gone..." Don finally said.

The raccoon dropped his arm and sighed. "Ugh! Finally! My arm was gettin' tiered..." he said, slurring his words and still having trouble keeping his balance while standing upright.

Don breathed a laugh and patted the raccoon on the back. "C'mon, let's go inside."

Suddenly, Geo quickly (and wobbily) turned around and ran towards his door, but missed and ran right smack dab into the wall two inched from the door. "Ey!" he yelled as he stumbled back and caught his balance on the railing at the edge of his porch. "Who the fuck moved my fuckin' door?!" he looked around as if there was someone else there other than Don and himself.

The coyote laughed to himself and helped the raccoon inside. Once they were (safely) inside, the raccoon sat down on his couch in a lazy position and groaned. Don stood in front of him for a while, wondering what he should do. Should he leave? Well, he didn't really have much more to do here, and Geo would pass out soon enough anyways because of all that alcohol he drank. "Well," Don said, still standing in front of the raccoon. "I think I'm gonna head out now."

Geo's head and ears perked. He stood up in front of Don and stared at him for a moment before grabbing his by his shoulders and pulling him into a deep, sloppy kiss.

The action took the coyote completely by surprise, and when his mind finally caught up, all he could do was stand there and kiss back. The raccoon smelled and tasted strongly of alcohol, but Don didn't seem to mind it so much as he stood there and kissed him.

After a long moment, Geo pulled away, leaving a stream of saliva trailing from both of their lips and kept hold of the coyote by his shoulders. "Uhh..." Don said, fighting for words.

But the raccoon didn't leave him much more time to think before he lifted the coyote over his shoulder and carried him through the living, down a hall, and into his small bedroom. He dropped Don on the bed with a thud and fell over him, holding him down with his own body.

Don just lay there on his back and Geo on his chest. Now he definatly wasn't sure what to do; should he just leave? Should he stay? The raccoon was drunk as can be, so he must not be doing this in his right state of mind, of course. "Uhh, Geo...?" Don said, but all he got in response was the sound of the raccoon's steady, heavy breathing.
