Cotton Fluff Bio

Her parents are Rock Finder and Ginger Bread. Rock Finder is a stallion whose fondness for geology led to his family moving around Equestria. Ginger Bread became a substitute teacher and taught classes at various schools as the family moved around. Her name originates from her ability to make creative, and tasty, ginger bread houses which she would bring to her classes. Her parents Rock Finder and Ginger Bread currently reside in Manehatten.
As a filly, Cotton Fluff, was shy and reserved, always excluded from the social groups of the various schools she attended as her family moved around. When she moved on into the next phase of her education, her family settled down and encouraged her to open up and try to start networking and making connections. Mustering her courage she reached out and found she could make friends easily, making a few select mare friends whom she held very dear to her heart. After her success at making friends, she opened up further and joined some of the social clubs. She discovered that she had a sort of natural charisma that helped her ease herself into social situations and quickly defuse tense situations.
When she graduated she had to make some hard choices about where her life would take her. Her natural charismatic charm led to her leaning toward a more social job, like customer service but she didn't want to work in the big city. After traveling around Equestria with her family, she found she enjoyed the smaller towns and settled on moving to Ponyville. Once there she instantly took to the setting and the kind hearted ponies that lived in the town, but found herself unable to find a job that seemed to suit her.
That was, until the local fashion designer in Ponyville recommended she stop by the La Te Da Spa and talk to Aloe and Lotus. Aloe and Lotus took to Cotton Fluff's social charms and offered her a position as a receptionist, greeting and making appointments for all the ponies that may grace the rather posh establishment.
How she got her cutie mark:
Cotton Fluff's cutie mark story is like most ponies, that being it was an accidental discovery and quite a surprising one at that. One day after classes, about a year before she graduated from the educational system, she found herself wandering the grounds near the school and accidentally stumbled into a gathering of cotton. The cotton stuck to her fur and she plucked it with her unicorn magic, curiously bringing the various balls of fluff together. The collective mass of fluff looked almost like snow which caused her to giggle in delight, quickly looking around and gathering more of the white fluffy cotton until she had a decent clump. Inspiration stuck as she began to manipulate the cotton with her hooves and magic until eventually she had created what vaguely resembled a flower. Noticing that it was getting dark and with a few more careful adjustments to her creation, she placed the flower in her mane and returned home. Her parents were the first to notice her cutie mark and threw their arms around a surprised Cotton Fluff, asking her to tell them where she had gotten the cotton flower in her mane. Since then, she has come to appreciate the art of making cotton creations, and occasionally uses her skills to provide the spa where she works with new cotton towels and other supplies.
