Seems I keep getting lucky with characters! Out of nowhere, my buddy Red Raptor was doing a Dragon Week thing, and he made this character. I loved the character so I was going to suggest he offer it to buy, because I was secretly going to buy it. Thing is, he didn't want to auction him off, so I half jokingly said "You should give him to me, if you aren't going to use him!" So Red simply said, "Sure, he's yours!" And I Was floored!

What a wonderful design, what a wonderful character!

So all I needed to do was make up a story to explain the character, so here it is! My Pet Styreks, a lowborn Saurossin known as a laurossin. He is to the reptilian race of my world basically what a high functioning chimp is to a human!

Enjoy!

Surprise!

As I walked down the trail that meandered its way through my territory, I heard a light rustling beyond the bush that lined said trail. I perked me ears up and sniffed at the wind to see if any predators were in the area - or even better yet, some tasty prey - but couldn't smell anything I would deem particularly enticing. Curious as the feline in me would have influenced, I poked my head through the bushes anyway, and I was pleased to see Styreks, my pet Laurossin, laying on his back with an expression of guilt on his face and thick streams of reptilian seed making spiderwebs between his cock, toes, and maw.

What a silly beast. Cute as can be and as sexually adventurous as any of my companions, but it was still entertaining when I caught him.

With a look of disdain and shame, he idly licked his talons off until he was clean before getting to his feet and joining me.

I laughed and shook my head, the silhouette of my form dancing on his rump as I motioned for him to come - or cum - with me back to the cave where he usually dwelled.

On the trip back, he happily kept pace slightly behind me. Styreks was of a species called "Laurossin", but he was a bipedal raptor-type predator with wings, putting him somewhere between feral and sentient. While he couldn't speak in normal tongues, he clearly had intelligence, curiosity, and a sort of self awareness that made him a great companion, but he lacked the intelligence needed to form words or properly converse.

He was a pet, sure, but he was also a wonderful companion that clearly was able to think for himself. I always felt bad for keeping him as a pet, but he wasn't intelligent enough to really live on his own, and he'd be treated as an animal if I let him out on his own, and likely killed for his beautiful aqua and maroon speckled hide. His demeanour made him appear domesticated, and while he was a ruthless hunter and skilled flier, he longed for the kind of affection only a master could offer him, so I kept him and cared for him. I couldn't breed and make chicks even if I wanted to, and Leera and I were incompatible mates for reproduction, so a pet was a nice compromise.

The story of my pet started out long ago, when my eternal companion Luero Venosa informed me she was gravid with egg. I at first dismissed her as being needlessly worried about such things - She hated offspring and was as apt to eat the egg as she was to lay it - but she seemed to have a sort of affection for this egg of hers she was expecting.

Turns out she'd enjoyed a sort of vigorous encounter with a smaller raptor in the weeks prior, and she'd come to foster affections for him. His name was Red, and Luero never stopped cooing and purring when she talked about him, so she felt an obligation to let this one live and not be food for an ovivore or something.

Problem was, it was her turn to travel all of Dalon, investigating regime shifts and altering the balance of power. Leera and I had just finally come back from our mutual expeditions, so we were finally settling down while she was leaving, therefore she had no free time to take care of the offspring while Leera and myself had nothing better to do at least for a couple years.

Truth be told, I don't really like offspring, be they chicks, pups, kittens, hatchlings, or babies, but I couldn't say no to Luero, and I couldn't possibly have anticipated what I'd get.

Both Luero and Red were intelligent saurossins - though they were different races - so there was no reason to think their offspring would have been anything less than a normal creature, but it was lowborn and ended up a more primitive beast. That's why it lacked the intelligence to be considered a proper citizen, but was still more intelligent than any feral. Even the dolphins of the sea and apes of the jungle couldn't match his intelligence.

He wasn't stupid, he just had a slightly more primitive mind, so I kept him as a pet.

I also wasn't prepared for the laurossin's size! Luero was smaller than I was, and Red was tiny compared to her, yet Styreks grew to be a whopping 4m tall and 5m long with a 12m wingspan! The beast was massive, even larger than myself! Feeding him was tough, which is why I was glad to see he was able to hunt and explore for himself. I couldn't dare keep him on a leash - even if I tried he'd just drag me around - and I didn't fence him in, so I just let him explore my territory. He learned quickly where he could and could not go, and as he aged he learned when and where to enjoy his private time.

It was rather cute how he so unabashedly pleasured himself in his own time and in his private areas of the property, but every time I caught him cummy and musky, I had to take him back to the cave and let him release his tension in a proper way. Certainly a peculiar relationship for a gryphon master and his pet laurossin, but one thing you learn when keeping a pet as loyal and powerful as a laurossin is that when they want something, you give it or you suffer the consequences.

Gentle and kind - like a dog - he still had a vicious side and tended to bite down hard with his teeth when getting a firm grip. I didn't mind and as time went on I came to enjoy his occasional dominance, but I had to teach the chap a thing or two about returning the favor.

Like I said, it's an odd relationship between he and I for sure, but it seems to be mutually beneficial. I get a companion when Leera isn't around, and he gets all the love and affection a pet deserves.

Besides, my friends all love him to, and ever since they first saw ol' Styreks, they've been asking to 'borrow' him. I got lucky with this laurossin, as all I had to do was ask and he was more than capable of letting me know who he did and didn't like, or who he did or didn't want to mount or be mounted by.

He lacked the words or the vocal chords to explicitly say what he wanted, but the slobber-tongued gape-jawed smile he splayed across his face upon hearing Vinn or Cyg was coming over was more than enough to know that he was as excited as he was happy to see them.

Though there's certainly more to him than just pimping him out to my friends for sexual favors. He just happens to be an insatiably horny beast that also happens to be loyal to me. He also protects me when he feels I'm threatened, sleeps in or near the nest at night. He was like a member of my pack, though he was scaled and I feathered.

Despite him being born of saurossin and raptor, he acted more like a wolf, loyal to his master and stoic when need be, but still silly and able to have fun. I like it. I really do.

I wouldn't give him up for anyone, and one day I plan on working some of my magics on him to see what it will do. Maybe he'd like to see what it was like to be female! Maybe he'd be okay with a growth spell of some sort.

One thing I know for sure: Styreks has potential for great magical growth within him. Saurossins, despite rarely using it, harbor the most mana of any of the races of Dalon, and a laurossin like Styreks, mixing the primal and instinctive nature of a feral with the inquisitive nature of a sentient being could lead to some interesting developments.

I once saw the earth around him rise into a little bed shape while he slept, and I intend to investigate this part of him further, as long as he lets me.

I eventually branded him by piercing his ear with a band that said simply "PRoperty of Ceylon." I figured that would make people wonder if ever they saw him. I never worried about him leaving me, as he was loyal to a fault.

So for now, it was just he and I quietly walking down the trail past griffin rock, around lake Saff'Rald, and to the mountain that I called my home. I gave his still-cummy front talons that were dangling out in front of him a gentle lick before spreading my wings and having him follow me to the plateau.
