Yeah, the title is a little bit silly because my teacher abruptly wanted our poetry names for the slam. But nevertheless, enjoy my first draft of the ANGER poem. Ohhhh so angry. Your comments and likes are most valuable! :) Thank you!

P.S: Yes, poetry slam in our school next Friday. BUT I HAVE STAGE FRIGHT!

Oh, volcanoes.

As old as time

As high as the star

As magnificent as belligerent

As black as coal

These creatures of Earth

Have been agitating the ground since the very first lore.

-

"CURSE, CURSE those blasphemous apes," they roared

"For eons, mother has been nurturing,

Protecting,

Loving them

Now they are torturing her for years to come

Filthy creatures

Invigorating

Diminishing

Slaughtering

Sapping

Anguishing her

Polluting her

Tear ground from ground

For their unholy pleasure," the giants shouted!

-

Their veins pulsing

Irate!

They could not bare injustice these titans

Punishments they must deliver

Right now!

-

One unfaithful day, they erupted

Bright columns of lights shot out of the fissures

Trembles! Trembles!

Their rocky skin began to crack and fall

Tumbles! Tumbles!

Clashing down their sides

Seething gods, an inferno!

Outpouring their blood and poison

These orange sludge

These ash clouds

Liquefies things they touch

Suffocated a civilization

Falling! Falling from the now coal black sky

Like Hell coming down from the Heaven.

-

"Bald apes

Feel the pain!

The pain you've grinding my mother though!" they laughed,

"Taste death!

See my rage!

My very own blood

Fear it!

Brewed from sorrow

Hardened by pain!"

Roar! Roar! Roar the giants!

"Stay near it, stay near my pain

Streams of a thousand suns

And you shall shriek endlessly.

Your filthy blood will boil

Your skin will melt

Those strings of your pathetic muscles underneath

Will snap and fiery

Soon the sludge of your repugnant self

Will be all what remains of your race.

Die."

-

For eons, they rise and fall

Sleeping and killing

Torturing

While we suffer

But the same goes for people

If we trigger their pain, aggravate their sorrow.

Although

They wouldn't burn our brain

With Molten Lava.

The End
