#28 of Adult Story One Shots

A story I've been writing on the side for a while, and I've just been able to finish, I hope you all enjoy. ^^

A kingdom under the rule of a new king, but when the king goes to his treasury he finds a bracelet that carries a terrible curse... and then goes on to spread it.

I would love to hear what you all think of the story! ^_^

"Your highness, that's your fathers..." the advisor started, but was halted as the new king lifted his hand halting the man.

"I am king now, Takop. Do you think so high of yourself that you may control me, the king?" Sal asked, Sal's father had passed the eve prior, and now that he'd been crowned king he was no longer going to be controlled by the advisor. "I think if you value your life, Takop..." The king lifted his hand to his chin and as he looked at the advisor his eyes glinted with a dangerous light. "You'd best learn your station before you say something you may regret."

A blush filled the advisor's cheeks as he dropped to his knees and bowed his head low. "I apologize my king, I rose above my station..."

"Indeed," Sal said as he turned away. "I'll be entering my treasure chambers now if you have nothing to bother me with..." His eyes settled on the advisor's head already imagining the royal executioner sharpening his precious axe.

"N... no sire! I wish you good fortune in your rounds of the royal treasure chambers!" Sweat poured off of Takop's forehead as the young king contemplated cutting off his head, but decided against it as he turned back towards the door and walked inside.

The royal treasury was a grand room that contained great riches and treasures that many thieves would give their own right arms just to see, let alone steal. Many times the guards had given those thieves the privilege of losing much more than their arms on several occasions. "Father, you amounted a grand mountain of gold..." Sal said with a lingering sadness, but as he stared at the riches that were now his he couldn't help but laugh at how he was the king now. "Too bad father, that you couldn't hold on to the throne long enough to spend it all away."

The gold was like water as Sal took the gold pieces into his hand, running through his palm and back to the great sea that it came from. Sal found himself trying on many of the golden adornments and jewelry that filled the golden mass, he admired himself and imagined rising before his subjects in grandeur. "The golden king..." Sal murmured, imagining how the scrolls would portray him as a king of great riches and the conqueror of the western peninsula. "This world shall belong to me, and my descendants will prosper in my success..." he chuckled.

With his dark tanned skin, Sal was a handsome young man. Only nineteen and having ascended to the throne, already Sal had become a fine suitor for many kingdom's princesses and Sal had already turned away many. He would only accept the finest woman with a fine bust and hourglass body, "one that will befit a king" was all that Sal said whenever the advisor questioned his choice. Once he may have been forced into a marriage to a princess that he disdained by his father, but now that Sal was king he would choose his spouse.

"With all of these riches, who would deny a handsome king such as I?" he asked to no one in particular, Sal chuckled as he brushed his dark hair aside and admired himself in a golden plate. It was looking at the golden piece that a beautiful piece suited to the king's taste presented itself. Sal found his eyes drawn to a small bracelet laying in the pile with blazing red jewels inlayed into a cobra's face. "What is this?" he asked, picking it up Sal felt a warmth unlike any other piece of jewelry in the cold piles.

The piece was of immaculate design, the metal flowing like liquid gold it appeared to resemble a serpent. Sal ran his hand over it, and with the warm feeling Sal got an idea in his head that would've sounded preposterous to anyone else. "My royal blood has claimed this piece as mine," he chuckled, a fire burning in his eyes with want for the fantastic item. Sliding it onto his wrist, Sal suddenly hunched forward as his whole body burnt for a moment with blistering pain as the bracelet snagged onto his wrist, but on standing up it was as if nothing had occurred. Sal's pupil's flashed a serpentine red for a moment before flashing back to a handsome brown. "Truly, fit for a king," he chuckled as he admired it on his wrist.

If Sal had tried to remove the golden piece, he would've realized that it had become stuck to his wrist, but due to a special curse placed upon the bracelet Sal had no want or desire to remove the band. Sal suddenly wanted nothing more to leave the room of gold and show all of his subjects the resplendent jewel that had become his fixation. Stepping out of the throne room, Sal brushed his hair back as he smiled a confident smirk. The guards looked at him with distaste for a moment, for even though Sal was the king he had always acted childish and selfish earning him a hatred from all of his subjects, but as the king looked at them their eyes flashed red and turned serpentine as they both fell to their knees in submission. "Our king," they chanted in unison.

Sal was slightly surprised as he was no stranger to dislike from the servants of the castle, but as his band flashed he smiled once more at his now loyal subjects. "Stand my servants," he said, the pair did as he asked with no question. Before the pair wouldn't of cared if their king had been kicked in the face by a camel, but now they would throw themselves before an arrow to protect their precious lord. "You two shall be my bodyguards from now on," Sal said, and as it was said the pair walked to his sides with intensity in their gaze.

"As you command, my lord," they replied in unsion. The devotion wasn't natural as they had disdained their king, but even if the thought had come to mind it was quickly washed away by the spell that had ensnared their freedom. The two guards followed close behind the king, and as the advisor noticed them he grabbed one of them by the shoulder.

"What are you two do..." but that was all he could get out before the guard grabbed him by his shirt and flipped him right into a marble bust, breaking the delicate piece.

"No one gets near the king," the guard demanded, his hand already nearing the sword at his waist.

"Down," Sal ordered, the guard immediately stepped back as if he were a dog listening to his owner's command. The king neared the advisor who was holding on to his injured arm.

"My highness, what are those two..." he gasped and moaned as his eyes met Sal's, his mind ensnared by the cruel magic of the bracelet. "I apologize for interrupting your walk, my lord," he said, bowing his head to the floor in subservience.

"Indeed, you are a sorry subject," the king said in disdain, turning away he swung his hand dismissively. "Slay the pig, bodyguards." The advisor didn't move even as he heard the sliding of blades from their sheathes, after all the king's word was that of god.

Walking away Sal smirked as he heard a thumping sound, and it didn't take long after that for his guards to return to his side obediently wiping their swords. Without an advisor usually Sal would be panicking, but for some reason he knew that if he were to choose an advisor he would obediently follow any command that he gave, and no questions would be risen in his presence for no one would question the king.

One after another the king's eyes met with the servants of the castle, and one after another they fell under their king's inescapable power. The men went to the rooms to get dressed in the rightful gown of their ruler while the women set their things down and started out of the castle, and while the king couldn't quite understand why he could tell that this was the correct way of his kingdom. What Sal didn't realize was that his skin was flaking off to reveal deep obsidian scales, and likewise his guard's skin was flaking to reveal a bronze colored set. Stepping out onto the veranda overlooking his kingdom, Sal looked every part the king as he lifted his wrist to reveal the beautiful adornment as he pointed out towards the crowd of his subjects. "My people!" he roared, and there was a response of screams of excitement as they saw their new king.

Unlike the servants in the castle the people had no idea what the new royal figure was like, and even if they heard rumors it fell on deaf ears as they could think no ill thoughts towards the crown prince. The simple gesture of pointing towards his people though had an unexpected side effect of spreading the influence of Sal's new corrupting power, and one by one the men gained copper slitted eyes, and the women in droves started towards the exit of the city. Sal chuckled as he saw the people go crazy with excitement at his appearance, before walking out he and his royal guard had discarded of their old clothing in favor of more revealing clothing.

Sal wore a tight fitting white silk vest with golden inlay around the edges which allowed him to show off his well-tanned chest, but it also allowed the black obsidian scales to reveal themselves. The young king wasn't exactly ignorant of this fact, but the bracelet made it appear ordinary to his mind. Around the young king's legs were fine silken pants that were help up by a fine velvet belt, and no one would dispute that the man looked royal. His royal guard looked likewise though with less fine clothes, and as they stood beside him with their new swords the trio looked imposing against the sun.

In the back the son of a baker watched as the women of the kingdom started to pour out, and he realized that something was going on as people stiffened momentarily before growing louder and almost manic with their devotion to their king. "Trave, is something wrong?" his younger brother asked, noting that the older had grown uncomfortable.

"Something's wrong..." the young man said, he quickly glanced around and saw that his father had left the bakery door open. "I'm heading inside until the festivities are done..." he muttered, his younger brother waved as the older sibling walked inside and closed the door behind him. Just in time too as the younger brother shuddered and Trave disappeared from his thoughts as he could only think about his most glorious king. His mother patted him on the head and kissed her husband on the cheek before walking away from them, and along with the rest of the women of the city walked away.

Trave started up the oven as the festivities continued, and the king made his proclamation. "I need a new advisor he must been young, and fit!" The crowd cheered in joy for their king as he walked back into the palace.

"What about Trave?" the youngest son of the baker mentioned to his father.

"Yes, I would be delighted to have a son working with our most glorious king," Trave's father said, their eyes were slitted as was everyone else's. Everyone but Trave that is due to his going inside the wave missed him.

***

Trave struggled against the guards as they dragged him inside the doors of the palace, and as much as he struggled against their remarkable strength he was dropped off inside before the giant doors were closed off behind him. "Let me out!" he shouted at the guards, but they just stepped to the sides of the doors and stood still staring blankly at him. He started towards the doors again, but they pulled out dangerous looking blades and glared at him. "I get the idea..." he muttered, it was a bitter pill to swallow that his dad and brother had willingly given him up to the king.

His father had always respected the king, but never to this extent. Their love of the king was bordering on a manic mindset, and how Trave's mother hadn't returned home was disheartening. Something was wrong in the kingdom, and it wasn't just the people. The town was changing drastically within hours of the king's first announcement. Buildings were being torn down just to add on to their king's castle, and the owners of the houses were often the ones tearing down their own houses. Trave watched as his own father had started to break down their own house as the guards came to bring him to the castle as the king's new royal advisor.

"I don't even know anything about advising a king..." Trave muttered bitterly, walking through the palace he couldn't help but admire the art hanging on the walls. There were mosaics, gorgeous tapestries, and paintings set on them from around the world. Even so there was something wrong with the art as Trave walked down the hall, watching the guards Trave witnessed them changing some of the art with an odd jewel. The old kings of the past were changing into more reptilian creatures as the guards pressed the jewel to the painting. "What the...?" Trave questioned, but he was interrupted as someone stepped in front of him.

That someone just so happened to be Sal who attempted to catch Trave's eyes, but as soon as the young man realized who he stood before he fell to his knee just missing the king's eyes. Sal frowned, but shrugged as he appreciated the sentiment of being bowed before. "So you're to be my new advisor," Sal chuckled, his voice had grown deeper and melodic as he started to change. The black scales now coated his chest, and his toes had started to grow thick black claws as well as his hands.

"Yes... your Highness," Trave said, his heart wasn't in it though. Trave wanted to go back home and live a regular life as a baker, and get married to a beautiful woman, but now that the women had left for some odd reason and he'd been forced by his family to become an advisor he wasn't sure about anything anymore.

Sal tapped his chin thoughtfully, since his royal decree he had visited the treasury a few more times, and had decided that the royal gold was to be melted down and changed into new adornments for himself. The local blacksmith had received an order to melt down the gold and make them into multiple pieces of jewelry aided by the jeweler, and with the new change in the people's minds they were more than glad to drop everything and do as their king told them to. Already adorning the king's hands were a plethora of golden rings and gleaming red rubies, but what most people didn't know was that the king had brought in a Traveeling mage and had entranced him just as he had done the people.

The rings had been gifted with the same magic that had given the king his initial power, and he had started sending out them as gifts to local lords with messengers who had been told only to give the jewels directly to the lord in question. Even as they stood in the grand hallway the lords were receiving their gifts, and falling under the spell of their new king. Sal's hair had fallen out, and he was in the process of growing a large black hood that gave him a great sense of pride.

"Why don't you rise, royal advisor?" Sal questioned, determined to meet the gaze of the young man. He had taken full advantage of his new power, and along the way he had picked up on the new changes that had been given to him by his bracelet. He had been given the gift of magic, and along with having his jewelry enchanted Sal had commanded the mage to teach him magic. He also knew that his sexual interests had been changed as well, and he could only surmise that whatever curse this had originally meant to be was to ruin someone's life, but as the king he had taken full advantage of the situation.

Trave who bowed before the king was an incredibly handsome young man, and Sal had the need to make the young man into his husband, but he couldn't do so until he made eye contact. "My king, it wouldn't be right," Trave said, truth be told he didn't want to meet eyes with the man who had been so presumptuous to demand such ostentatious ornaments such as a statue which was being erected right in front of the castle.

"Nonsense," Sal started, but Trave was adamant as he stood and averted his gaze from the king's. The king let out an annoyed hiss, but it was missed by Trave as he looked at the portraits that had changed.

"What's happening to these paintings, your highness?" Trave questioned, he didn't have a good feeling about the meaning of the paintings changing.

Sal sighed, he stepped beside Trave who was starting to notice the oddities of the king's appearance. "This is a far superior look for the kings of old, don't you think?" Sal asked, smirking as he gazed upon the handsome face of a reptilian king.

The king's talons clicked on the floor as he tapped his foot impatiently, and that was what first earned Trave's attention. The young man realized that something was amiss as his eye went further up tracing the black scales, but he didn't say anything out of concern that the king may do something to him. The guards standing nearby also tipped off Trave, no longer did they look as regular men did, but instead they looked reptilian. Their eyes were slits that barely moved from their king's face, and from the muscles lining their bodies they didn't appear weak either. "Sorcery..." Trave hissed, the king must've been dabbling in magic the young man thought to himself.

Sal was growing impatient, all other men met his eyes without pause, but this human was impenitent enough to completely avoid his eyes. "Advisor, meet my eyes."

It's the eyes, Trave realized soon enough that as Sal stepped in front of him he turned around acting as if he wanted to gaze out the nearby window. "Truly the king's garden is one of beauty," he stated, he knew that he had to escape soon before the king tried to change him as he did everyone else. Gazing outside he noticed the peasants of the city were changing as well, their clothes were being discarded in favor of simple white shorts that allowed their new bodies to gleam in the sunlight.

The humans were disappearing in favor of their serpentine bodies, and the people were forgetting that they ever were men as the king's corrupting magic worked its way through them. "Royal Advisor..." Sal hissed, his voice growing with malice as he grew steadily angered by being ignored. "Turn and face me..."

Trave set his hand on the sill, he was going to jump. "The sun is beautiful today," Trave said in a dreamy voice, he had practiced a lot as a kid about how to jump from heights as with his friends as a youth he had leapt many times from rooftop to rooftop, and more often than not he would fall to the ground and he had to learn to brace himself. Sal reached out to grab the man's shoulder, but he was too late as Trave had heard the rustle of scales against cloth and he had leapt out the window.

The sky and ground tumbled as Trave tucked himself into a ball and rolled forward as he hit the floor, but any pain was quickly forgotten as the king roared at some guards to grab him. Trave pushed himself up quickly and started to sprint towards the gates, and he had to slip between guards and the drones that belonged to the kingdom. Which his heart in throat, Trave was able to get out of the castle courtyard, but he wasn't safe as the serpentine men of the city quickly picked up the call to grab the Royal Advisor.

The city was changing rapidly as sleep was discarded for the king's happiness, and right now the king's happiness was to catch the man who belonged to his royal highness. Many old faces were seen as Trave dived between the enslaved peasants, though their faces had changed he could recognize them still with the minor distinctions. Friend, cousin, and neighbor dived after Trave. He thought himself clear until he was stopped by a hulking serpent, the creature that blocked his path was his own father.

The magic that had infected his father had completely brainwashed him into becoming a new guard for the city, and the serpent could only chuckle as he grabbed the royal advisor. "The king needs you back in the castle..." he rumbled, he couldn't even recognize the young man as anything but the advisor.

It was heartbreaking to Trave as his own father dragged him back to the castle, and locked the door behind him as he left. Sal stepped down the stairs with a definite click of polished tile meeting sharp claws, and Trave did nothing but look at the polished floor as the king approached. Just a short while earlier during Trave's attempt escape the jeweler and blacksmith had presented their king with a headdress made of the most pure gold, and set in it were several stones that gleamed with a luster that would put any pearl to shame.

The mage (who had been changed into a lizard man as well) had enchanted them to drag any man's gaze towards the king's face without fail, and as the king approached Trave could no longer avoid his gaze. "Look into my eyes, Trave," the king spoke, and so the advisor did.

Trave's eyes dragged as if they were strung to heavy anchors, and it was only a matter of time before his eyes beheld his majesty's gorgeous eyes. His beautiful eyes... Trave's whole body went limp as he looked into Sal's serpentine eyes that held a curse that no one would want until they gazed into his eyes, and with the stunning jewels surrounding them they seemed to be enhanced. "Y... your Majesty..." Trave droned, his dick grew hard in complete arousal.

After a bit of experimenting, and watching some of his subjects, Sal had realized that he could channel different emotions with his eyes. With all other subjects, Sal had ordered complete dominance over their minds, but with Trave... he channeled not only obedience, but an unending arousal that would create the king's perfect mate. "My love," Sal hissed sweetly, he held his hand out for the advisor.

Trave couldn't believe that the king would reach his hand out for such a lowly creature such as him, but he wouldn't scorn his most important majesty by not taking his hand, so he grabbed it and kissed it even as he rose. "Your supreme godliness," Trave intoned, he was smitten by the gorgeousness of his king's serpentine looks.

Already Trave was changing, but unlike the other men of the kingdom instead of taking on a copper tone, and unlike his love the king he took on a ruby pallor of scaling. His face took on a refined sharpness that the king had chosen before he had even laid eyes upon his lover, and it was as sexy as he had thought it would be. "Take off your clothing, my lovely mate," Sal ordered.

Not one to disobey his lover's orders, Trave's clothes dropped to the floor revealing his impressive muscled body. His cock throbbing in arousal, Travea felt proud that his lord would want to see his body. The curse that Sal placed upon Trave was far more powerful than any of his servants who only received a portion of his magic, but now that he could control it Sal had imparted a large portion of magic into Trave. The transformation was sped up, and he watched as the ugly human skin was replaced by gorgeous scaling of a snake. Hair and dark skin replaced by an opulent crimson shell that only served to arouse the king.

Trave's cock temporarily sunk into a new slit make to cover his cock, and quickly grew out once more a tapered piece that would please his king during intercourse. "My love..." Trave hissed, his forked tongue flicked out tasting the world for the first time and he could smell the tang of his lover's musk.

Sal was equally aroused, but he was more careful to show it as he was the king and as such wanted to be more private with his love. He rang his hand down Trave's chest allowing the coolness of his lover's body to merge with his own, "You are a truly handsome creature..." he whispered, wanting his words to be heard by none other than Trave.

A hiss of satisfaction escaped from Trave as he ran his clawed hand down his side, absorbed in his arousal and the king's eyes. His eyes gleamed emerald as he changed into another serpent. All want for escape faded as he fell in love with his king, and the feeling was reciprocated by the serpent. "This shall be our kingdom," Sal explained, Trave shivered as he heard "our". "You shall be my husband, and no man shall be higher than we are my dear."

"Yes, my love," Trave answered, the pair ensnared hands as they kissed for the first time. Trave couldn't be happier, and no longer could he remember why he ran earlier. The king bid the guards to get his new husband clothing to fit his own, and the pair got ready to make another royal decree.

Sal and Travee quickly fell in step with one another, the spell combining Trave's will to the kings, and the two serpents couldn't be any happier. Sal adorned his lover with jewelry made specifically for him, and quickly set upon his newly grown hood a headdress of his own. The pair stepped out onto the balcony overseeing the kingdom, and sitting within the courtyard was a statue of not just one, but two serpents looking out upon the newly rebuilt kingdom. The serpents worked hard and fast to make their king proud, and with their increased strength they had no problems with the workload.

Already striding into the kingdom's walls were the lords who had been ensnared by the king's magic, and like the king and Trave they glowed different colors than the regular peasants. Each one had been gifted with a special body by the king, and they knew that they were special to their majesty, and already they had devoted their lives to pleasing their king.

Sal hissed in pleasure as Trave groped him privately, "After we finish, my love," he hissed, pleasure was apparent as he looked out at his people. "Today we start anew my servants!" he announced, "my love and I shall guide you to a world where I am the ruler of all, and all shall heed my orders!" There was a cry of delight from the people of the city, and none within the city who tried to hide could escape this announcement as the king's magic had already grown. From alcoves and hiding spots people poured out as they started to change into serpent men, and all within the city roared with delight as they found their new mates just as the king did, and they all prepared to march with their king to build a new world for the serpents.
