Chapter Five: The Waterfall? In A
Desert?!
Waffels POV:
After everything went black at the fight I have been in my
mind scared to open my eyes to see every one dead or see the goddess gates
before me. I risk it and slowly open my heavy eyes to see Hatter looking over
at something.
I slowly turn my head to see Kamen barfing on Angels back and
Tiggys head next to Hatters leg. I also see Spirit on Shadows back asleep. I
hear a gasp so I look up to see Hatter staring at me.
He holds me in a tight hug. The movements making me get light
headed slightly and smell something disturbing. I whimper and look at Hatter my
throat hurting.
"W-What's that smell Hatter?" I asked hoarsely and he looked
down at my clothes and I worry. Did I get injured worrying Hatter worse?
I slowly look down the smell making my head spin to see dark
blood covering me. I scream and cry clawing at my clothing trying to get it
off. Kamen looks at me somewhat worriedly and Tiggy yelps loudly from his nap.
Hatter panics and holds me to his chest rubbing my ears as I cry.
"What happened?" Angel yells over he wings and the wind and
Kamen tell him I woke up.
Why is there blood all over me?! What happened while I was
asleep?! Why is Kamen barfing on Angel?!
I start to shake crying harder into Hatters bare and scared
chest as he held me petting me gently and rocks us. I hear him whispering
faintly into my ear. I see Kamen and Spirit whispering to each other about
something. Hatter sighs and looks at me making me look up at him.
"Waffels, do you remember what happened at all after Angel
turned into his feral?" I shake my head crying and hiccupping.
"N-No! A-All I remember is you guys trying to get on birdy!"
Hatter holds me to his chest petting my ears trying to calm me but I continue
to cry.
He holds me more and Spirit wakes up looking at me to him.
"Did the blood do this?" Hatter sighs and nods as Spirit gets
up and walks over to me wind making his hood fall off and his hair tousled
back. I sobbed and look up at him as he kneeled down by me Hatter starting to
glare at him.
"Waffels, do you want me to help you clean up so most of the
smell goes away?" I nod and reach out to him Hatter looking a little heart
broken. As Spirit picks me up I look at Hatter and grab his hat smiling a
little.
"As long I can wear Hatters hat and he helps." Spirit laughs
but nods as I watch Hatters Face brighten into his funny grin. Angel lands and
sinks to his normal size in a towel making all of us fall off. Hatter caught me
as Kamen face planted and Spirit landed perfectly with Tiggy and Shadow. Kamen
jumps up and glares at Angel growling.
"Why the hell did you do that for?!?!" He huffs and sinks
into the water taking his towel off with his wings tightly on his back.
"I asked for you all to get off me many times over but none
of you listened." I giggle how girly he sounded and Kamen starts to yell at him
more as Hatter put me down by the water frowning and starts to take his under
coat off. I blush as I realize that I'm the only girl there and the others are
taking off their clothes.... Hatter laughs and rubs my head grabbing his bag.
"Pull out something to wear every one, except Angel, is at
least in shorts." I blush more and pale slightly as I reach inside his bag with
bloodied hands and pulls out a one piece with a small skirt. Hatter smiles and
blushes slightly.
"That will look rather beautiful on you." I blush more and my
tail goes between my legs with my ears flat.
"Th-Thank you..." He laughs and nods smiling as he slips of his
pants down in shorts.
"Your welcome my dear. If you like I can help you-" before
Hater could finish, Angel jumps on his head growling.
"How distasteful! Why would you, a full grown man, ask a
young lady if you can help her get dressed in a swim suit?! How dare you!!"
Hatter growls and yells back at him his hat falling off. I sneak back and laugh
quietly. I wave my hand at Tiggy, as he sneaks around them.
We sneak far away and he lies down as I go behind him. I
start to strip out of my bloody clothing, tossing them aside. I start to slip
on the one piece as Tiggy kept watch holding my bloodied clothing. I crawl onto
his back giggling and points back to the waterfall.
"To the waterfall!" He does his odd cat grin and runs to the
waterfall were Hatter was tackling Angel into the water, Spirit and Kamen
watching and laughing. Tiggy drops my old cloths by the water and sits down so
I can slide off. I tackle Hatter back under water when he came back up. I look
at him under water to see him pouting and pointing at his metal arm. I nod and
get off him so he can go up and dry his arm off. I wish he didn't replace it....
I twirl around getting most of the blood out of my hair and off my body. I swim
back up gasping for air to see Angel washing off with a bottle in his hand.
"What's that?" He giggles and tosses it by me, making me
twitch back from the splash.
"Strawberry soap. Use it to wash off the blood sweetie." I
nod pouring the soap all over me scrubbing it in my hair and on my body. It
smells good!
"Thank you!" He laughs and nods.
"Your welcome!" I giggle and look around to see Hatter
sitting in the water his arms over the side relaxing and looking half asleep. I
noticed Spirit disappeared and Kamen isn't near the water. I decided to go
under water to see what's down there.
I swim deep deep under the water to see a huge bubble over a
small cave pointing up. I swim closer and poke it to make it pop, but nothing
happened. I push on it with one hand, then two, then my whole body. Nothing
happened! I swam up for air to see Kamen sun bathing and Hatter pouting as
Angel heals the stub where his old robot arm once was.
I giggle before going back under water to look at the bubble
thing again. I sit on it once under water, but something strange happened next.
I started to sink into the bubble! I freaked out and tried to swim upward to be
shooted out of the water surface up high into the air. It was fun! I looked
down to see a worried Hatter and a flying Angel to catch me. Once he caught me
he started to check me for wounds or bruises.
"Darling, are you okay?" He asked me flying back down into
the water still wearing his towel up to hie arms and his hair up. I giggled and
nodded.
"I wanna do that again!"
