#7 of Kiss My Arse

The clash of steel and resulting sparks showered in fury across the floor as Fang and Dark retreated back. "You're getting good," stated Fang. "Yeah but I need to get better," I replied. With a large swipe and a downwards cut and shunted Fang from the fray and quickly drew my blade against Dark's. My thrusts and stabs had become lightening quick while my swipes with precise. My combat, however, was not fuelled by skill, technique or even the words of an old master. I fought through my own medium, my own discipline; rage. It is that same rage that I had to use against the Signit to win but also, the same rage that could one day overwhelm and control me. The past few meditation and mind reading sessions with Krystal had been frightening. Sounds of screaming and pain; anger and sorrow came from within the dark sphere of my mind. There was still no sign of my mother. Were those screams sourced by my parents. Did I kill them like I did the scientist? Something inside the dark clouds of the sphere was definitely moving. It crashed against the edge, hammering the glass and pleading for escape. I dear not know what the entity is. Krystal has always been there with me, though. Through all her grief and pain at the moment, she was still willing to help me, to care for me. I owned her much but I gave little in return. My gift would be to see the safe rescue of her three daughters and Katie. The task of finding them, however, had become difficult and tedious. It had been nigh on two weeks with little hope or success. We would not give up and we persisted that they were still alive and hope was still there. My heart grew heavy and began to falter but I dare not show it to the others. Holding my hand up to the pair, I decided to call it a day, "Good work guys. We'll start again tomorrow." "No problem Mitch." "Yeah, night Mitch." I waved goodbye to the pair and decided to check on Krystal. She was shrieking and wailing in pain within the room. I rushed inside to find a sort of fox standing over her. "What the hell do you think your doing?" I said, grabbing it's arm and pulling it away. "Let go you idiot, I'm helping her!" I saw Krystal reach out for the gold fox so I decided to trust her and let her go. She ran back to Krystal side, sat her on the bed and hugged her deeply. She rocked her from side to side as she began to sing. Her voice was mysterious and ancient, yet assertive and firm for which glided about the air and brought piece to the situation. She sung in a long forgotten dialect that soothed Krystal's pains. "Rysonia, rysona enfentai lontu, Ironta yol en ef en ia ru, Solofan malek, soloran dusu, Rysonia, rysona enfentai lontu." I stood in awe and the golden fox for Krystal had calmed down considerably and held on tightly to the fox. Now I could have a closer look. The fox was a female with multiple tails. Most of her fur was gold but her tail tips and stomach were white. She wore what seemed to be a business woman's suit with an open collar. "And who do I owe the pleasure of meeting?" she asked looking up from Krystal and staring at me. "Mitch," I replied, "My name is Mitch. I'm sorry I thought you were attacking her." "No, that's fine. I'm glad you protect her so valiantly! My name is Renamon." The sound of approaching footsteps made us acknowledge Sally at the door. "Krys! Are you okay?!?" Renamon pushed Krystal towards Sally as she sat down, "I calmed her down but she won't speak to me." Krystal held onto Sally tightly and began to whisper in her ear. She was drenched in sweat and her eyes were wide so she obviously went through a horrific experience. Sally looked up at us, "Guys, I'm gunna need a few moments alone with Krystal." We all left respectively as the pair began to talk quietly. We regrouped with the rest of the team in meeting hall at the big table. "Where's my Mistress?" called Renamon from behind me. Rouge rose from her chair immediately, "Renamon?" Renamon shunted past me and pounced on Rouge, tackling her to the ground and hugging her intently while licking her face and kissing her. "I missed you Mistress!!!" "I missed you to Renamon. Calm down, please!" Renamon pulled herself off her Mistress and brushed her suit off. It seems that someone wearing a suit as professional as that would have a little more dignity than that. Renamon took a seat next to her Mistress with a big smile on her face. "What's my golden pet doing her?" "I called Fox for a favour to come and pick me up," she replied, "'cause I need to speak you. I have some good news." Rouge sat up in her chair with anticipation, "What is it?" Renamon could help but stretch a huge smile across her face, "I've given the company assets away. I'M MOVING BACK IN WITH YOU!!!" The pair jumped up and hugged each other, squealing and squeaking like little girls. "What language were you speaking?" I asked, completely mystified at her presence. The room went completely silent at my odd question. "It," she replied, "was ancient Xylanion. A pray my mother used to sing to me." Her voice had calmed all the anger I had dwelling within me. All the fear and loathing I had was gone and my inner soul was at rest. Sally had appeared in the doorway behind me with news. "Krystal had finally heard the girls calling to her," she said, "and it was terrifying for her. She could hear them screaming in her head. I couldn't even begin to imagine what that must have been like... Anyway, she knows where they are so we should leave immediately." "You heard her. Gear up, let's go!" called Fox clapping his hands in excitement. This was it, the moment I had been waiting and training for. Making my way to the armoury seemed to take forever. Two desert eagles, a twelve gauge, a grenade launchers, magnum sniper rifle and two mac-10's. Soon we were off in the arwings. Since the girls were involved, Krystal insisted to pick up Terra and so she came with us. The area where they were being kept was one the planet we were orbiting which was lucky. The ground was scorched and dead. Deadwood covered the ground like a scattered army with ruins of old stones houses covering the landscapes. Krystal sensed that the girls were being kept in what seemed to be like a large castle. The dust of the ghostly landscape swept through the broken walls; eroding the corpse of the giant architecture. The group of arwings landed and the team disembarked. All the team were dressed in their battle suits with me in my trademark long coat. "Let's fuck'em up boys!" called Fang. Dark was also with us; bow, quiver and scabbard on the back. "Halt!" cried a voice from out of nowhere, "What do want in our lands?" The dust and sand swirled around us but no one was in sight. "Who are you?" I called out. Suddenly, several warriors appeared around us, bows draw. A purple figure walked out to meet us, "Hands in the air where I can see them." The warrior was a girl, of a chameleon species and a purple colour. She had wild red hair and red and yellow stripes. She wore tribal armour over her toned muscles with a deadwood longbow and quiver on her back. She approached Dark, "Who are you and what business do you have here?" "We are the Star Fox team," he replied with confidence, "and we are here to stop the tyrant in the castle there." With a brief hesitation, she waved at the group to lower their bows, "We are the Growe and I am Lalon. We are the denizen of these lands. From the Howling Mounds to the Whispering Valleys we have lived on this planet and protect all who lives here; although the planet looks dead, life is hidden here and we must act as their guardians." "I can sympathize with you. I am the guardian of the jungle on my home planet." "There is a lot of activity in this area and the troops being moved around in the vicinity is troubling. You can see why we are troubled. What is your association with these hostiles?" "They have kidnapped the children of the blue vixen over there," he said, pointing Krystal out to indicate who she was. The chameleon bowed in respect, "I am so sorry. We will help anyway we can." The scrambling of feet from inside the battered walls made us all turn and watch. Man upon man is heavy armour with rifles drawn lined up on the castle wall. The captain bellowed at us, "Star Fox and local citizens, leave immediately before we open fire." The warriors around us disappeared with only their footprints as proof of their existence. "We will open fire. All of you disperse now." The taut of bows rung in our ears as arrows appeared as if from the air itself and took out the line of soldiers on the wall. The group ran to the large portcullis to stop any other attack from the wall. "Whadda we do now?" cried Falco. "I think I brought some charges but they're back in the arwing," replied Fox. "Good idea but what if they're back on the wall? You won't last two seconds." "Fuck sake, stand back," ordered Dark. As everyone gave him space, his body twisted and morphed and contorted into a different shape. His being became grander with muscles and long fur appearing. He had become a giant gorilla like the one we encountered in the jungle yet he was still an anthro. Using is huge simian hands and wrenched the large portcullis up. "Why didn't you tell me you could morph into other anthros?" I asked in disbelief. "Details, details now can you please hurry up and move, this is pretty heavy." He had created a gap for us to run through and we did immediately. Using my new super strength to hold the portcullis up, Dark morphed back and rolled under. A loud alarm pierced the scene and soldiers began to flood from the barracks in between us, screaming for us to stop and lay down our arms. The Growe took their position on the east wall and gave accurate covering fire. Fox and Falco began to take out soldiers from the south with laser rounds. Cowards... Me, Fang and Nik stood in the middle with swords flinging. "Dark, Nik; take out the guard outposts. Rouge, protect Nik and then move onto Terra and Krystal." The team nodded as we split up. Two soldiers approached me with short swords. A downwards strike took a leg from one as I spun away from his stab to deliver on of my own. Dark had taken position in front of the guard outpost with bow draw. He had an explosive charge tied to the end which he preceded to light. As the door opened from another swarm to appear, Dark fired the arrow into the first man. As he fell back, the charge went off, collapsing the outpost and stopping any more guards appearing from the inner castle. Nik took position on one side of the outpost as Rouge protected him with her twin daggers. He placed his hands on the wall and concentrated hard. With all his energy, he opened his eyes and screamed in primal rage. The resulting sound wave shook the olden walls which allowed the guard outpost to collapse. Me, Fang and Dark were left in the middle and where we having fun. Even though is sword was as big as he was, Dark could swing it nearly as fast as I swung mine! Cutting an enemy was good but when he slapped them with the side, they went flying backwards. He swung the large blade around his body; downing enemies and providing protection for himself. Fang had a different style to Dark. He fought in a mix of his powers and deadly swipes of his sword, Fatalis. Fatalis was such powerful and so hallowed that it could make the wind part and cry with each fling. Fang's kicks were insane in the amount of power they had and his battle cries of 'DRAGON BULLET!!!' and 'TORNADO COMBO!!!' was to be feared even by the Gods. He truly deserved his title of Dragon Hero. I, however, was a much more dirty and brash sort of fighter. With a knee to the stomach and a perfect uppercut, that was normally enough for an enemy. I did use my sword sometimes but I preferred my guns. Nothing better than seeing an enemy rush up to you and blasting them away with a few shells to the mid-section! "Mitch!" cried Nik from a far, "We need to get over the wall but there's no gate or door." With a quick high slash to rearrange the faces of a few more enemies, I though quickly. "Dark, give everyone a boost up. Fox and Falco on me for covering fire." They did as they were told. Dark transformed into the gorilla and began to lift the group over the wall, the Growe going first to clear a path. Large explosions rung out from the rubble that was the guard houses and soldiers began to pour out. We held them in the ruins with constant fire but it was not to last. "Fox, I'm on my last mag!" cried Falco. "I have two left," he replied in a panic. I holstered my pistols, "Go, get over the wall go!" The two rushed over to Dark as I whipped out the mac's. "DARK, OVER THE WALL!!!" I cried over my heavy suppression fire. He pulled himself over leaving me on my own. Dropping the mac's, I fired two shots of the grenade launchers to clear out the two houses and ran to the corner of the courtyard. Using the corner walls as rebound points, I jumped up to the top of the main wall and scrambled over, falling over onto my face on the other side. "Augh fuck! I'll never do that again!!!" I pulled myself from the dirt and brushed myself off and turned round to find at least 3 dozen men taking aim at us. "Drop your weapons..." Fox nodded to Falco; each one grabbing something from their belt and flinging them to the ground. Two large blue shields burst from the devices, creating a barrier. "Everyone start shooting, these reflector shields won't last for long!" hollered Fox. He turned to me through the action, "These shields won't last so you have about ten minutes." He pointed to the castle keep in front of us, "Get your arse up there!" With a smile on my face, I nodded and began my attempt. The walls were high, too high to climb. There was a window in the corner that led into the depths of the main keep. "Dark, catapult!" Still in his gorilla form, Dark opened his hand for me to stand on. Using all his strength, he flung me at the window and I made a perfect entrance. The interior was old and dark with red carpets on the floor. The walls were decorated with paintings of different noble figures. Small candles were transfixed on the wall, fighting off the perpetuating darkness. Creatures and insects roamed the floors, calling to the darkness of the new intruder. The rumbling of chains in the distance was nerve rattling. I walked among the darkness, showing I am not afraid and proving my courage. "Welcome to my abode," called a shadowy enigma, "You must be Mitch!" His voice was old and worn with a rusty and growling tone in his voice. It was so distinct the you could clearly make out when he took breaths. "That I am. And you must be the fuck head I'm about to send to an early grave..." "Not likely I'm afraid. Unlike the past two commanders of which were fools in their methods, I am much more testing. I want you to play a game with me." "And if I refuse?" "Then the girls die..." "Fine, a game it is." "Great," the enigma laughed, "We will play dark seeker; a personal favorite. Can you find the room the girls are in before I find you?" I gulped and prepared myself, "But how will I see in this dark?" "Well," he said with menace in his voice, "You could use the power of flame you took from the 3rd commander. But then I'd be able to see you. The game begins now." His footsteps were evident that he was already close. Strange as they were (a sort of crawling, scrapping sound); I carried on nether the less and stepped into the black. The corridors were all similar; very narrow and poorly lighten. The slightest breeze would put out a candle to the right or left. The sound of the girls squealing in chains would oscillate between loud and quiet very suddenly. His footsteps were also very difficult to hear and they seemed so close sometimes I could swear I felt his breath on the back of my neck. Each room I opened was empty and, with every door opened, a rusted hinge crackle would give away my whereabouts. "I probably forgot to mention I can see quite well in the dark... And I think I can see you." The pressure was building up. He could be anywhere. Even behind me. Then...slowly...a though crossed my mind. That night when I killed those Signit commanders...I gained more than one power. Transformation! That was it! Thinking quickly, I morphed into a creature that could see in the dark. A panther. Turning around, I discovered the commander lunging for me which gave me just enough time to push him away. I could finally get a closer look at him. He was a very thin, emaciated bat. He had sharp, jagged fur and large eyes. Instead of hands he had sharp hooks and razor wings. "My name is Scream Bat. Nice to finally meet you." He gave me a big smile as he began an offensive again, cutting and slicing at me with his hooks. With a kick to the stomach, I made a run for it. Morphing into a bat myself, I used my acute hearing to listen out for the girls. I knew where they were. "Good work Mitch, but I'll get you first!" He heard his wings open as he took flight. He was much faster now, closing on me and swiping at the air behind me. Pulling out my gauge I blasted the door in front of me and dived through, only just missing a head high swipe by the bat. In the middle of the room were the girls tied together with scars and scraps on their bodies. Morphing back and pulling out my sword, it took only one swipe to break the ancient chains. "Girls use Katie to get out of here; she'll know where to go." They nodded and set off at the bat tackled me to the floor. He ripped open my shirt and pulled the rusty hook across my chest. "The mark of my prey!" I flipped him off and pulled out my deagles, firing randomly into the darkness. I decided to retreat and ran into the corridor where he preceded to take flight and tackle me. We travelled at such a high speed that we went though the castle wall and into the courtyard. He grabbed me as we flew high into the air. Striking me around the face and holding my collar made him laugh manically. "You know why they call me 'Scream Bat'?" He began to screech and wail at a pitch that drove me crazy. It pierced deep within my head as if it were about to explode. "DRAGON BULLET!!!" came a shout from below as it struck the bat in the back. Shaking away the pain I withdrew my sword and drove it into his chest as we plummeted to the earth below. Luckily, Renamon caught me before I hit the ground. Scream Bat did not have the same pleasure.

Krystal was in utter tears, holding the three as tight as she could while they hugged back. "Don't leave my sight again my babies!!!" They were all in a flood of tears as Sally stood with a big smile on her face. "You gunna get involved in any of that love?" I asked her. "I think Krystal could do it for me!" she said with a smile as we both chuckled. Peppy and Mina appeared in an arwing to greet us. They walked over to the group, "You called us?" "Check the girls over for wounds or cuts that need to be treated urgently," asked Fox. The sound of what seemed to be a craft appeared quietly in the background. A spot on the horizon was the source. I knew who it was. "No time for that, get everyone out of here," I called. Dark rushed up to me, "What is it Mitch?" "IDFF." They had sent an armada this time and they were closing in fast. "RUN!!! TO THE ARWINGS!! RUN!!!" "There isn't enough space for everyone," cried Peppy. "I'll stay." "Me too!" "I ain't leavin'." "Count me in." Dark, Fang, Fox and Nik stood in front of me with pride. "Fox," cried Falco, "I won't to stay with you." "No! You need to get them back." "But...but..." "Falco, go!" Forcing the tears back, Falco called everyone to their arwings and they were off. "Stranger," called the Lanon from behind us, "You have rid our lands of that great evil so we will fight by your side." The ships hovered overhead as helicopters swooped to and fro. In front of us appeared a figure. It was Chloe. "I'm tired of you running Mitch." "Yeah me too," I replied. She looked at Fox behind me, his laser drawn. "Fox, helping a criminal is a federal offence." He just gave a smile and nodded, "I know...this guy isn't a criminal though." "So what part of murder doesn't make him a criminal?" "Wanna settle this?" I interrupted. "A bit unfair don't you think?" she stated. I turned to Nik who had a serious smile on his face. With a nod, he held his hands across the group and they were gone. "What did you do?" "They're back on the Great Fox where I will be soon." "Mitch, we don't have to do this," she holstered her weapon, "You need to come into custody; no fighting is necessary." "I should have never trusted you. You're a fucking crooked cop like the rest of them. Fuckin' trash all of ya." Chloe fell silent with a frown on her face, "Don't call me names." Her eyes burned with a deep fire as clenched her fists in anticipation for the fight ahead. "Kiss my arse, bitch." She had heard enough; with her hands in front of her she released a huge fireball I narrowly dodged. The ball hit the portcullis, melting it instantly. I made my way into the main courtyard as she followed. "I need backup at the gate and air units to stop any escape. Bring the APPS," she cried down her radio. "APPS? That another shitty little unit you cops have made up?" "It's an Anti Portal Protection Shield. Stops you escaping using portals." A line of burly officers stop at the open portcullis, rifles drawn. "I'll take you in now," she told me, "Or I'll take you in on fire; your choice." "How about you bite me?" She obviously didn't take insults too well as two more fireballs flew in my direction. With a quick dodge I brushed myself off and withdrew my sword. Chloe sent one fire ball after another in my direction. Sword swipes were enough to disperse them by the blazing heat of the after shock was almost unbearable. Knowing that the offence would be too risky, I took shelter behind some rubble of the guard houses. Pulling out my deagles I began to blind fire in her direction. She had pulled out her pistol and began to fire back. The plasma rounds flew past my face, singe my fur a bit. This was no use, she had me pinned. A laser round pierced my arm as I cried out in a mix of pain and anger. She relinquished her fire, "You can still come quietly Mitch." Then I realized that I didn't have to fight her. "Is this quiet enough?" I let out a high pitch squeal just like Scram Bat. Chloe held her ears as she and the row of policemen dropped to the ground. She twisted and turned on the floor in pain; flopping and struggling like a fish out of water. It took a few rounds but I soon took care of the APPS. I stood above Chloe with my sword firmly in my hand. I loved her and apart of my still did but this would never end. My soul cried out for bloodshed, cried out for death. She was weak and defenseless. I drove my sword throw her chest as a smile grew on my face. She stretched her hand up at me but I was out of her reach. Her arm soon dropped she breathed her last breath. I removed my sword from her chest cavity and wiped the blood in the dust. I won't hear anything from her again. Creating a portal, I was soon back on the Great Fox with the rest of the crew. (((Wow what a shocker if I do say so myself! This one is just a big battle scene and it's hard to describe battle scenes. I could see it all happening in my head but didn't know how to express it. Chloe, Fang, Dark, Nik to respective owners as I have mentioned before. Lalon is a new one in our series and she is copyrighted by Red_rush_brush_7. We also see the return of Renamon which is always good news for a Yiff scene *wink*. All love, hate, questions, death notes and queries as comments please. Thank you and Merry Christmas!!!)))
