This story is rated "Y" for Yiffy. Reader discretion is advised. I walked through the twisted alleyway with Gene close behind me as we continued our search throughout the area we ended up in. After emerging from the blue portal, Gene and I were surprised to find ourselves in a world that seemed similar to Middle Earth; the residents of the city all spoke in an odd dialect, guards patrolled the streets, and drunken wizard performed various magic spells before small audiences for a little gold. The search had been fruitless thus far, but with our past experiences the both of us knew that we couldn't just stop; The Remnant, or something else, was in this world and intended to commit atrocities upon the populace. "Kind of offsetting to be in a place like this, huh?" Gene asked as we passed by an old beggar stumbling around us, drinking heavily from a large bottle. "Yeah, makes you appreciate what we have in our worlds," I said, covering my nose as the fetid beggar, moved around us. "I wonder what The Remnant wants from this place. So far we haven't seen anything out of the ordinary, aside from customs of this world, and no attempts on our lives have been made." "A nice change of pace, in my opinion," Gene said with a smile. "Yeah, but I just wish something would point us in the right direction, you know?" I replied with a small sigh. "Looking for some trouble, are you?" A feminine voice beckoned to us from a dark alley. Gene and I whirled around to face the alley, moving cautiously towards the shadows. "So what if we are?" I answered, trying to make out the figure standing in the dark. "And just who are you anyway?" The figure stepped slightly out of the shadows, allowing us a good look at who we were talking to. From the alley emerged a strange creature I wasn't familiar with; at first glance, it looked like a cat, but then I shifted to thinking it was a weasel, or an otter. The female's fur was light gray with dark spots and streaks all over her body, her long white hair passing her shoulders and moving elegantly at the slightest breeze. "My name is Scylla," the woman bowed before us, her robe opening slightly, showing off her impressive cleavage; thick fur covered her nipples, but just her tits were enough to distract me. Prying my eyes away from her breasts, I focused on her face as much as possible to keep my mind from wandering towards "inappropriate" thoughts. "Do you know of something that poses a threat to this world?" I asked, still forcing my eyes away from her bosoms, which Scylla had forgotten to close. Scylla smiled, staring at us with blazing red eyes; I don't know why, but when she smiled I felt a shiver run down my spine. "I might," Scylla said in a mock innocent tone, "But the only way you'll know is if you follow me." "And how do we know you're not going to try something on us?" Gene asked bluntly. Scylla gawked at us, her face a picture of hurt and shock. "Why would I do something like that," she asked, "I'm just a civet that wants to be able to sleep soundly at night; won't you please come have a look see?" A little happy to hear what her species was, I glanced over at Gene and stared into his eyes. We both knew the risks, but we could handle anything that happened. I turned to face the civet, putting on a small smile. "Alright; lead on." The civet's smile broadened as she turned around and walked back into the dark alley way; Gene and I followed close behind her, ignoring the voice in my head that kept screaming that this was a trap. Scylla led us deeper into the never ending labyrinth of back alleys, making the two of us uneasy and waiting for an attack. Suddenly, Scylla stopped and slowly turned around, smiling at the two of us darkly. "So tell me," the civet said seductively, allowing her robe to open, "Do you boys feel like having some fun?" Gene and I stood there, a little shocked but after our past adventures we quickly recovered. As much as I wanted to spend some quality time with the lusty civet, I felt like something was wrong. Scylla's eyes, those red eyes, betrayed something sinister; on the outside, she seemed like just another horny woman looking for a good time, but on the inside I knew she had something foul intended for us. "Something's not right here," Gene muttered. "Come now," Scylla giggled, "Are you two going to keep me standing like this in the cold air, or will you two warm me up with your love?" "As enticing as that sounds," I murmured, starring hard at the civet, "I don't think we should trust you." Scylla laughed a bit louder, her face showing a small amount of irritability. "Last chance," Scylla uttered darkly, "Yes or no?" "No," I replied plainly. The civet smiled broadly and glared at us, throwing off her robe and dropping into an aggressive stance. As Gene and I prepared ourselves for the fight, we witnessed a bizarre spectacle. The civet's eyes glowed red and something began to stir in her hair. Emerging from her long silver hair were two horns, one behind each ear, both of them black and pointed. The civet's hair continued to rustle and within seconds, five silver scaled snakes with yellow eyes rose from her head, hissing and striking out angrily. As the coup de grace to Scylla's transformation, two large black wings came out of her back, spread wide in an attempt to frighten us. The transformation was offsetting, but Gene and I were not afraid of this demonic civet. Before Scylla made her move, there was a flash of light and a feline appeared between us from seemingly out of nowhere. The cat was a male gray and white furred tabby with green eyes and dark markings on his fur, easily in his early twenties. The tabby was dressed in tan leggings, a black tunic, a sleeveless green robe, a black beret, matching black gloves, and a thin silver chain with a black and gold ring fitted with a small sapphire around his neck. Nobody moved for a moment or two, and then Scylla took a step forward. "Scylla, no," the tabby ordered, sounding like a father scorning a naughty child. "Oh please, Rush," Scylla whined, "Just let me feed; I'll only take half of their souls, I swear." "I said no, Scylla," the tabby referred to as Rush nearly bellowed. Scylla turned to one side and pouted, glaring at Rush pitifully. Rush turned and faced the two of us, his disposition slightly more relaxed. "You two alright?" "Yeah," I answered, glancing at the fuming civet. "Thanks for intervening, Rush, was it?" I held out my hand and the tabby shook it firmly. "Right. Tell me, you're not from this world, are you?" Rush asked bluntly. "How did you know that?" I asked surprised. "I'm no fool; by the looks of your clothing, the both of you are from an advanced world, like myself," Rush replied with a slight hint of bitterness. "If you need some information, then you can ask me at my inn; if not, then go about your business." I cast my glance back at the civet, a little worried about the demonic fur accompanying us. "Don't fear Scylla; she won't attack you if you come with us. I'll be sure of that," Rush added. "Alright," I said lightly, "We'd be glad to join you." "Fine; now, follow us, and try not to get lost. I have better things to do than search the town for you two," Rush mumbled, walking beside Scylla down the alley way. Although Rush's disposition was unpleasant, we still wanted to ask some questions about the area and the only way to do that was to follow him. After a while, we finally made it to Rush's place; the Last Hope Inn, as it was called. The establishment was filled with a handful of staff, all walking about with various items and foodstuffs for the guests. Rush muttered something to a young girl and she dashed off to the kitchen, nearly knocking over several of her fellow workers. Gene and I followed Rush and Scylla into a private dining area located beside a rather large study. As we took our seats, several workers bustled into the room, carrying several platters of food. Once they left, we started to eat in silence. "So, you said you weren't from here, right?" Gene asked. "Yeah," Rush replied abruptly. "Care to expand on that?" Gene pressed. "Not really," Rush mumbled before returning to his meal. "You'll have to get used to this," Scylla said tauntingly, "Rushy here isn't really a people person, or much of a person at all." "You are really pushing your limits today, Scylla," Rush growled, "Keep pushing me and I'll take away your sexual liberties." The civet instantly piped down, glaring angrily at the tabby. "So, is she your slave or something?" I asked. "Oh, he wishes," Scylla muttered with a smile. Rush pushed aside a bowl of soup and sliced himself a piece of mutton. "I'm bound to this civet due to a botched spell; it's been tiresome to keep her out of trouble day in and day out." "Oh come now, Rushy," Scylla said sweetly, "You know you like it; we've been such good friends during our time together, you have a telepathic link to me so you know when I'm doing something bad, and I let you fuck me every once in a while." I stared at the two of them after what Scylla just said and I heard Gene cough as he spluttered some his water from his mouth. "Now's not the time for this discussion," Rush muttered darkly. "Do you have any family?" I asked. Rush didn't say anything, nor did Scylla. The tabby just remained silent, staring at the ring on his necklace. I realized that he must've had one at one point in time, but something must've happened to them. "Sorry; forget I said anything." Gene dismissed himself from the table, exhausted from trekking the city all day. Rush asked Scylla to show Gene a place to rest; remarkably, the civet did so without Rush asking twice. As Scylla led Gene out of the room, Rush turned his attention towards me. "So," Rush said, leaning back in his chair, "How did you come to Diatora?" "My people can travel to the infinite dimensions, but our species have either been killed or dispersed into the endless worlds," I began. "My father was part of an organization called The Remnant, but left after he met my mother in another dimension, fearing they would kill the both of them for their love of one another. Unfortunately, The Remnant found them one day, killed them, and sent me to another dimension, hoping to turn me into one of their own; since I managed to leave the dimension, I've been fighting them at every turn." "I'm sorry to hear that," Rush said softly, glancing at his chain, "Nobody should have to go through the death of someone they love like that." I nodded in silent appreciation, and then a thought came into my mind. "Tell me, Rush, you are a mage of sorts, right?" "Yeah," Rush said with some content. "Would you happen to know anything about...possessions, transformations, or split-personalities?" I muttered. "You mean spiritual possessions? Yes, a bit; why?" Rush asked. I leaned in close to whisper, ashamed of my condition. "I have a serious problem that seems to have been with me since the day my parents died. There are times when my body is no longer my own and my mind is sealed away. In its place is that of an enraged wolf, and my body shifts into a powerful lupine form. Although it desires vengeance like me, it will kill anyone in its way, even friends or innocents. I used to have nightmares about the wolf, but they seemed to go away; however, I fear something even worse is going to happen. Please, can you help me?" Rush rubbed his chin like he was a doctor examining an interesting patient, his eyes drifted away from me as he became lost in thought. "Odd," Rush mumbled, "What you described sounds like lycanthropy; do you transform when the moon is full?" "No, I don't believe so," I replied, recounting all the times I changed, "But I did transform at night each time, maybe excluding the world I met Gene in; I couldn't tell if it was night or day since the sky was filled with dark gray clouds." "I see," Rush muttered, "Anything else?" "Well, I was attacked each time I turned, but there was one time that my life wasn't at risk and I still changed," I answered, remembering how I changed when Gene and I fought against Kairn. "Have you changed recently, like say within the week?" Rush asked. "No," I replied. Rush sighed heavily and rubbed his forehead. "As much as I hate to say this, I have no clue as to what's happening to you. This sounds like something that only you can solve. I'm sorry, Nik." "Oh," I muttered, "It's okay; thanks for trying anyway." Suddenly, Rush seemed to become more alert as a displeased look formed on his face. "If you'll excuse me," Rush said irritably, "A certain civet is in some serious trouble." Rush then rose up out of his seat and stormed out of the room. I sat there for a few minutes, wondering what the demonic civet had done to upset Rush so much. "Good, I thought he'd never leave." I jumped out of my seat, surprised by the voice that whispered so close to my ear. I turned around to see Scylla standing behind me, smiling broadly and staring into my eyes lustily. "What the," I stammered, "How did you...what did you do to make Rush angry?" Scylla giggled evilly, "Oh, I just severed my telepathic link with him." Scylla walked up to me and placed a finger on my chest. "Now we can have some fun. Mmm, you look so much more attractive without all that armor on." "Uh, are you sure about this," I asked nervously, "I mean, Rush wouldn't mind?" Scylla brought her face close to mine. "I'm not his wife," she whispered seductively, "And I'm not going to let you get away from me twice." In a flash, Scylla pressed her muzzle against mine, kissing me passionately. Though the kiss was so sudden, I managed to get in sync with the demon, kissing her back and wrapping my arms around her. Scylla pushed me as we walked, leading me over to a couch. I broke the kiss as Scylla snaked her hand down my pants and grabbed my emerging cock, squeezing it in her hand. With her free hand, Scylla unzipped my pants and allowed them to fall at my feet, freeing my stiffening member; with a naughty giggle, Scylla knelt down before me and took the entire length into her mouth, sucking and licking it all over. I moaned softly and placed a hand on Scylla head, closing my eyes as she pleased me orally. I felt something slither over my hand and I pulled it back in shock; Scylla had changed into her demonic form, sporting her snakes in her hair, horns, and wings. The civet removed her mouth from my cock and pulled me down onto the floor on all fours roughly, nearly making me fall flat on my face. Scylla grabbed my ears and thrust her cunt into my face, rubbing her outer lips against my nose. "Lick me, foxy," Scylla murmured softly, still glaring at me with those blazing red eyes of hers. Despite the pain inflicted on my ears from the civet's claws, I eagerly began to lap at her folds, smiling as the civet murred and squirmed in front of me. "Ooh, good boy," Scylla sighed happily. As I continued to lick deeper into the civet's pussy, more and more of her juices started to leak out. Before I could carry on any further, Scylla released my ears and walked over to the couch. "You know, the more you move around the harder it is to have fun with you," I said smugly. Scylla grinned and bent over the couch, raising her tail and presenting herself to me. "Shut up and fuck me," she replied impatiently. I wasted no time in moving to her rear and positioning my cock to her pussy. I gently slid my member into her cunt, the two of us moaning as I hilted myself inside her. Taking her butt in both my hands, I started to thrust into Scylla slowly, working at my usual starting rhythm. "What are you doing," Scylla asked irritably, looking back at me, "I'm not a virgin; I want you to fuck me senseless! Now fuck my pussy like a wild animal!" "Fine," I grunted, readying myself to assault her snatch with great force and speed, "If you'll stop talking and start moaning." With that said, I hammered into Scylla's pussy as hard as possible, putting more power in my thrusts than I ever dared to do with any other girl I met. "Oh, fuck yes!" Scylla screamed, gripping onto the couch to keep her body still. I was concerned about hurting Scylla, but it seemed as though this civet could take this with no difficulty whatsoever. I grabbed onto Scylla's tail with one hand, raising it up high as I put more forcer into my thrusts. The couch shifted in its spot as Scylla screamed in ecstasy each time I slammed into her depths. There was the sound of a door slamming shut and I stopped in mid thrust; Rush was standing behind the two of us, looking very displeased. "Scylla," Rush nearly shouted, "You know you're not allowed to cut me off like that, and now you're having another fling on my couch." Scylla scoffed at Rush's irritation. "Oh, quit complaining, Mr. Stick-In-The-Mud. You know you don't really care who I sleep with, but if you want," Scylla said with a naughty smile, "You could join us." "Don't change the subject," Rush replied hotly. "Okay," Scylla sighed, "I'm sorry; now, are you going to join us or not?" The tabby stood in his spot, still fuming over Scylla's actions. After a minute, Rush sighed heavily and walked over to us, removing his clothing as he did. "Sometimes you are just too much for me to handle," Rush muttered. Scylla smiled and moved away from me, walking over to Rush and giving him a small kiss on the cheek. "How about I make it up to you," Scylla whispered, "By fucking in your favorite position?" Rush managed a small smile as he lied down on his back on the carpeted floor. "I suppose that'll do for now." Scylla giggled as she moved on top of Rush, grinding her moist slit against his sheathe, enticing his member. Not wanting to be left out, I made my way over to the two of them and stood before Scylla, stiff cock in hand. "Oh, don't worry," Scylla said as she lowered herself down Rush's shaft, making the tabby moan in ecstasy, "I haven't forgotten about you; just let me get started with Rushy here and I'll take care of you." "Sounds like a plan," I replied, slowly stroking my cock with one hand. With a smile on her face, Scylla started bouncing up and down on top of Rush, her rear slapping against his furry sac every time she descended. Rush moaned in pleasure and grabbed her hips, thrusting up to meet Scylla's pussy each time she came down on his cock. As Scylla gasped and moaned while she rode Rush, the civet motioned with her finger for me to come closer; I obeyed automatically and stood in front of the bouncing civet, presenting my throbbing length to her. Scylla reached out and grabbed my cock, gently pulling on it to bring me even closer. When I was close enough, the civet firmly squished my aching member between her breasts, massaging it between her dirty pillows and licking the tip of it roughly with her tongue. I moaned as Scylla licked and squished my cock, watching the civet bounced on top of Rush with increasing tempo. To my despair, Scylla removed my cock from her cleavage after a short while, but I was compensated when she took my entire length into her mouth and began sucking on it moderately, thrashing her tongue all over it. Scylla let out a muffled cry and sucked me off much harder; I glanced down to see that Rush was no longer pumping into Scylla's pussy, but rather her tail hole while Rush's hand moved to the civet's pussy and began to rub the clit with his thumb, causing Scylla to buck and squirm on his hips. I could feel my climax upon me, brought about sooner than Rush's due to the romp prior to this one. I held onto Scylla's horns, despite the painless strikes her snakes inflicted on my hands and stomach, and humped into her mouth a few times before I finally came; my seed rushed out of my body and covered her tongue and pallet, the excess dribbling down her chin and dripping onto her tits. Scylla gurgled around my cock as she cleaned up my mess from my length and her muzzle, her eyes closed shut as Rush hammered into her ass as fast as he could, thrusting his fingers into her pussy mercilessly. The civet released my cock from her lips and screamed in pleasure, her pussy and tail hole tightening around the Rush's appendages and leaking her feminine juices down on the tabby's cock. Rush continue to fuck the climaxing civet for a good five minutes, pounding into her hard as he, too, reached his peak. With a final thrust and a long groan, Rush came inside Scylla's ass, filling her butt to the brim with his seed until it seeped out of her tight back passage and onto his balls. I sat on the floor, watching Scylla bounce lightly on top of Rush, who was now lying on his back in a relaxed position. "That was great, boys," Scylla said happily, "You've really upped your game, so to speak, Rushy." Rush sighed and swatted the civet's ass playfully. "Well, it's kind of a requirement with you as my lover," Rush muttered jokingly. I smiled and lazily reached for my pants. "Well, I guess if there's nothing going on in this place, I guess there's no need to..." I was cut off by the sound of bells in the distance; alarm bells that rung frantically, followed by the panicked screams of countless people. I guess I spoke to soon.

Rush, Gene, and I moved cautiously down the cobbled street, stepping over various dropped and broken items of all sorts. The entire town seemed to be empty, completely devoid of any people, living or dead; Rush believed that everyone either left town or was holed up in a few churches on the outskirts of town. Even though there were no casualties, none of us could figure out what had caused the panic. A light chuckle echoed throughout the street, directing our attention to an abandoned shop where we believe the laugh originated from. Before we could do anything, one of the windows on the third floor shattered and a black furred creature leapt down to the ground. The creature slowly rose up, glaring at us with violet eyes, grinning wickedly. We were shocked to see that the assailant looked exactly like Rush; the only differences between the two of them were the eyes, the fur color, the white tribal markings on the black Rush, and a wicked set of claws on each of the creature's hands. "Razac," muttered Rush angrily, "My demonic doppelganger." "Ahh, Rush," Razac said with a wicked grin, "It's so good to see you once again; did you miss me?" Rush dropped into a fighting stance, readying his hands for one of his spells when Razac wagged a finger. "Ah ah ah, let's not be hasty; we wouldn't want to start fighting just yet, not while my friends have yet to arrive." "You can cease your worrying," a familiar voice rang out from high above in the cloudy night sky. A red and black furred fox with large wings and sharp claws landed beside Razac, staring intently at Gene; Kairn. "Are you ready Rachel?" A black cloaked figure appeared in the doorway of the shop the other two were standing in front of, removing their hood and revealing the face of Omni Dragon's right hand woman, Rachel or codename Seductress Tigress. "I hope you appreciate what we've done," Rachel chimed with a sweet smile on her face, "We had to scare the whole populace out of town, just to get you to fight us without you being concerned of the civilians. But let's skip the speeches and get down to business. Razac, take the tabby; Kairn, the human." The two of them nodded and moved to the side, focusing on their own enemies; Gene and Rush did likewise, moving towards their targets and leaving me with Rachel. "Shall we?" the tigress asked innocently. I glanced to either side, checking on Gene and Rush. Rush had started with some kind of fire type spell that rocketed from both his hands towards Razac; the doppelganger, however, simply lashed at it with his claws, which glowed with a dark purple light and dispersed the fire. Gene had engaged Kairn in close combat, striking out with his knife while Kairn dodged and blocked with his flaming claws and wings. I turned my attention to Rachel and started walking slowly towards her, sword in hand and blade extended; the tigress stood still, only moving slightly to pull out some sort of baton from her cloak. When I got close enough, I decided to surprise her and pulled out my blaster with my other hand, aiming at her as quickly as possible and firing immediately after I had her in my sights. Rachel moved to one side, avoiding the blast and moved at me with incredible speed, baton raised to strike me in the face. I brought my sword up just in time to block the blow, but was unprepared to push back and I was forced backwards. I regained my balance and holstered my gun, focusing on the tigress before me. I glanced over to see Razac trying to gain some ground to Rush, but the tabby managed to keep him at bay with numerous spells; Gene had Kairn backing away to the point the winged fox would fly up and land behind him in an attempt to surprise him. I turned my eyes back on Rachel and moved towards her, but on the second step a cold sensation spread throughout my body. I knew what was happening, and I immediately became afraid; the wolf was trying to come out once again. I dropped my sword and fell to my knees, shivering as the icy feeling inside me grew stronger; I wanted to fight back, I tried to, but every time I even thought about doing so an intense fire would burn my insides. I panted as I felt my body preparing to change as I panted and shivered on my hands and knees. Suddenly, the sensation stopped, and so did I; Rachel's feet appeared in my line of vision, and I was unable to look up. "So, it's happening," Rachel said thoughtfully, "Razac, Kairn; leave the others alone. They're paralyzed and cannot move; in the meantime, I want you to do what we asked of you." With angry growls, I heard Razac and Kairn leave Gene and Rush and stood beside me. Suddenly, I felt this small pulling sensation, like someone was tugging on a string connected to my insides. The pull became more intense and more forceful to the point where it started to hurt; it felt as though I was going to be ripped apart. Just as the pain reached its peak, it suddenly went away and I was no longer paralyzed. Racked with pain, I managed to lift my head up and turned around; what I saw stopped my heart completely and made me quake with fear. A few feet away from me was a large shadowy form of a feral wolf, snarling and scanning the area with its fierce yellow eyes until they rested on me, burning into my very soul. Razac had done what I thought was impossible; the doppelganger managed to separate the wolf from me, but it did not look like what it turned me into nor did it seem very stable. Rachel, Kairn, and Razac approached the wolf, keeping their distance from it but still observing it with great interest. "This is not what I faced before," Kairn said doubtingly. "It is merely the essence of the fox's darkness," Razac explained, taking a step towards it then stepping back as the shadowy wolf snarled at him, "It seems as though it is not strong enough to sustain its own entity outside of its host." "How interesting," Rachel murmured, approaching the wolf, apparently unafraid of it. "Listen to me, wolf," the tigress whispered to the beast, "Over there is the fox that kept you inside of him for so many years; do what you will with him." The wolf glared at me and started walking over, snarling angrily; I sat there, frozen in fear as it came closer and closer. Suddenly, a bright green ball of energy came hurtling towards the wolf, which dodged to one side. Rush and Gene ran to my side and lifted me to my feet; apparently, Rachel lost her focus and the two of them were now free. "Ah yes, "Rachel muttered, "I forgot about those two; no matter. We will deal with the three of you all the same." "Give it up, Rush," Razac laughed evilly, "It's four of us and three of y-" Razac was cut off as Scylla came swooping out of the sky and slammed into him, sending him rolling backwards. The civet then kicked out and caught Kairn in the jaw, whirling for an attack on the tigress; Rachel, however managed to step out of her reach before she could strike. Scylla then flew back towards us and landed beside Rush. "About time you got here," Rush muttered. "Sorry, I wasn't really listening to you at a certain point," Scylla replied with a smile. "So, I guess I'll help you with your wannabe, huh?" Rush nodded and the two of them charged at Razac, who began to run backwards while hurling a few spells their way. As Gene ran to face Kairn while he was still surprised, I dashed towards Rachel, moving in an arc to avoid the wolf and pick up my sword. Sword at the ready, I lunged at Rachel, clashing my blade against her baton with great force. As Rachel hopped backwards, I heard an angry snarl from behind and rolled to the right, narrowly avoiding the wolf's lunge. Before I could stand, the wolf about-faced and attacked me again, knocking me on my back. The wolf clamped down on my arm and shook it, trying to get at my face; thankfully I had my armor on to protect me. Despite the fear I felt, I managed to kick the wolf off of me and leapt to my feet. I turned my head and saw Rachel coming at me, baton ready to strike; in front of me, the wolf had risen and was now bounding towards me once more. Acting on sheer instinct, I dodged the wolf's attack and as it sailed past me, I unleashed a huge sonic boom that sent it hurtling into Rachel, knocking them both to the ground. I turned to see how the others were doing; Rush had Razac on the run, unleashing several lightning bolts at the demonic doppelganger. Gene had landed a few good blows to Kairn, causing the fox to take flight, only to be slammed into the ground by Scylla. Razac, seeing the fight was going south, ran past Rush and straight towards me, using some kind of telekinetic spell to knock me off my feet. I landed hard on my back, trying to get back up until Razac brought his foot down on my chest, pinning me to the ground. With a crazed grin, he raised his claws in the air and readied himself to strike. From out of the blue, the wolf leapt onto Razac, knocking him off me and began mauling the cat viscously. Razac kicked and screamed as the wolf tore into him, trying several spells to get away from it. I just sat there and watched in amazement; did the wolf just save me? Finally, Razac managed to blast the wolf off with a violet ball of energy; bloody and chewed up, the cat suddenly disappeared in a flash of dark red light. The wolf picked itself up and turned towards me, staring at me with those yellow eyes; all of a sudden, it leapt at me, fangs bared and snarling savagely. I closed my eyes and threw up my arms, waiting for the wolf to attack, but it never came. I lowered my arms and opened my eyes, only to see that the wolf was gone. I turned around and saw a blue portal close; apparently, Rachel and Kairn were not willing to fight the wolf. Gene, Rush, and Scylla came running towards me, helping me to my feet. "Nik, are you okay?" asked Rush, looking me over with great scrutiny. "Yeah; why? What happened to the wolf?" I replied. "The wolf leapt at you, but when it touched you it turned into this wisp that covered your body and seemed to be absorbed into your flesh," Gene answered. "I think the wolf is unable to survive on its own, which explains why it attacked Razac and went back inside you; however, I don't believe you've seen the last of it," Rush added. "Will I be okay?" I asked. "Not sure," Rush said with a shrug, "But I suggest that if there comes a time when you need to be examined, do not hesitate to visit me again." "I understand," I muttered. A bright light came from behind and the four of us turned around; the sun was now rising and some of the townsfolk were returning. With a small sigh, I walked back to Rush's home with Gene and Scylla, the events of the day overflowing in my head. As we walked, I could've sworn I heard a voice, an all too familiar voice. Not yet, Nikolas. Not yet. Nik and Rachel belong to Sonic Fox. Rush, Razac, And Scylla belong to Darse Amberson. Gene and Kairn belong to absorbentgene. Sorry about the wait, but I got caught up in some things that needed to be done. At any rate, I hope you enjoyed this story and I hope that you will fave, vote, and comment on this story.
