#42 of Commissions by Gruffy

Sanmer's experiment into smart materials has the potential to either go horribly wrong or horribly right. I wonder what happened this time around!

Well this commission for avatar?user=48788&character=0&clevel=2 Sanmer contains some themes I haven't worked with before, so I hope that you'll be curious to see my take on this stuff...it was rather interesting to dip my toe into yet new territory of fuzzy writing and see what happens! And here's what I have written...hope you are curious about it, and I'll look forward to seeing any feedback you give to me!

Have a fun read!

The lights came on automatically when the door opened with its futuristic hissing sound and the arctic fox wearing his customary white coat stepped in. He was carefully to tug his tail out of the way when the door closed behind him again, sealing the scientist fox into the laboratory which, for reasons of security and utmost secrecy, was only accessible through that single door, and only for the owner of this building, whom was currently incidentally sauntering down the metal steps into the main floor.

"Computer, status report on the experiment," the fox spoke into thin air while he walked past towers of stainless steel, the equipment of the lab seemingly chaotic, but all secretly servicing their purposes, with tubes and coils of wires leading from another and seemingly all converging on the great tank on the center of the laboratory. The fox's eyes concentrated on it, even if his gaze scanned the rest, the display screens, the tables, the bubbling tubes of fluids, the hisses of gas while machines worked tirelessly to bend energy and matter into the fox's will.

"Recognized, Sanmer Lemarre, authorized access to database granted** ,"** the computer's mechanic voice responded in clipped tones that seemed to tickle the insides of the fox's ears.

"Thank you," Sanmer smirked to himself while he wandered around the laboratory, not in any particular hurry.

"Experiment is still undergoing beta particle burst agitation as per programmed. Experiment showing signs of increased molecular cohesion at 67 hours, 34 minutes, 12 seconds of irradiation. Experimental mass has increased by 143 percent since the commencing of the beta particle burst agitation. Experiment electronegative response time has increased by 600%. Experiment action potential has increased by 400 percent. Experiment temperature steady at 319 point 16 Kelvin. Experimental vessel pressure steady at 73.479 psi. Beta particle burst agitation is set to continue for further 22 hours, 23 minutes and 48 seconds."

_ _

"Excellent," the fox mused as he stepped over to a bank of computer monitors, to look at the actual raw data. His eyes parsed through the information quickly, his brain needing not too much time to absorb everything that read on the numerous displays. He smiled, quietly. This was really starting to look most agreeable, after so many failures in the materials lab. So many hours, so many experiments...and for once, things were starting to look good. The new experimental material inside the vapour chamber had no simply dissolved into a puddle of goo, but rather, it had maintained its shape and coherence. The pulsing graphic on one of the computers showed it to be an almost perfect sphere for the moment, with beams of radiation hitting it at regular intervals from all directions, and even as he stared at the monitor, the graphic balloon on the display blinked, and several numeric values changed. The fox's tail flapped excitedly.

"Computer, is the experiment still growing?"

_" Affirmative. The experiment is increasing in total mass at an approximate rate of .1 percent per minute." _

_ _

The fox's eyes flashed.

So perhaps they had figured out the formula, he thought...all those scientists working on singular problems of the experiment, none of them knowing more than was necessary for them to do their part of the job without actually knowing what was being done when all of the information was summed together...that was for Sanmer's eyes only, and the result of all that work was currently hidden in the great stainless steel tower at centre of the laboratory. The fox looked up from the computer displays and into the quietly buzzing vessel, and felt a surge of excitement. Maybe all those years of work at Sanmer Pharmaceuticals were going to pay off once more...with something extraordinary...at least extraordinarily lucrative, he thought. One could never forget that the coffers at the Cayman Island were bottomless, and he had some very expensive hobbies, after all...had to make sure to invest something for his planned retirement in space...eventually. Being a mad scientist was too much fun that he could even contemplate stopping any time soon. So many things to invent, yet, and his mind was bursting with ideas.

"Computer, what is the matter conversion efficiency rate of the experiment?"

_" One megawatt is being fed into the experiment continuously. Two kilograms of gaseous matter are being sprayed into the vapour chamber at all moments. Waste recovery loop is functioning at 99% efficiency. All parameters correspond to the programmed system settings." _

_ _

"Let's try a little something," the fox replied, quietly.

_" Command not recognized _ ," the computer replied mechanically.

The fox chuckled and rubbed his muzzle while he watched the tantalizing tower of steel in front of him.

"Increase beta burst rate to 2 bursts per second and increase energy input to 3 megawatts," the fox ordered, "let's see what it does when it gets more energy to play with."

_" Suggested energy input will reach 85% of design limits, posing extra risk of system damage. Do you wish to proceed anyway?" _

_ _

Sanmer snickered.

"What are you, Windows XP?" the fox grunted. "Proceed to increase rates as detailed."

_" Affirmative. Increasing beta particle agitation and energy input." _

_ _

Sanmer's sensitive ears could pick up the rising hum as the coolant pumps increased their flow rate to cope with the rising power demands of the equipment built around the tower. The fox was sure that the floor could be felt to shake a little, just a tiny little tremor, but still, enough to be felt tingling on his footpads. The computer monitors filled with bursts of further information from the experiment. The blinking numbers were definitely counting upwards, he noted, as expected, with increasing energy being expended to tease the experiment.

"Experiment mass growth rate has increased to .5 percent per minute."

_ _

Sanmer felt a thrill. Rising the power of the experiment had caused it to start growing five times at the rate, much beyond the projected figures he had calculated with the computer before embarking on yet another attempt to create a new smart material with endless options of employment. He could already see it all...Sanmer Technologies leading the way, creating cars that would bend harmlessly when colliding with things instead of shattering or bending, new airplane wings that would always take the most efficient shape for lift considering the circumstances...easy chairs that would conform to the shape of the sitter and perhaps give an extra relaxing massage if they sensed muscle tension...he might have to start thinking of setting up his own country or something, what's with so much money that would come in from the exclusive patent rights to the most amazing smart material ever created. Those eyeglasses that bounced back into shape if you accidentally bent them were going to look like an abacus standing next to a super computer, the fox thought with a wicked, greedy grin that was not only concerned with science.

A beep roused his ears, then...not one of the usual ones that only said that things were alright. This one sounded more urgent.

"Warning. Experiment mass growth rate has increased to one percent per second."

_ _

The fox's white tail bristled with excitement. Could it be possible that the increased energy would've led into such a great improvement in the growth rate? What if it would really be exponential, as in some of the suggested calculations...but his teams of experts had dismissed that as being much too energy-consuming...he'd need the entire output of a nuclear power plant to fuel such experiments...and he wans'r quite there yet...

"Computer, what is the current actual mass of the experiment?"

_" The mass of the experiment is currently 20,541 grams and increasing. Now 20,560 grams." _

_ _

Could this really be it? Could this be the breakthrough he had been waiting for so long? The fox was starting to breath more quickly as he stared at the computer banks and their ever-changing information flooding his mind. At the centre of it all, the ball, the virtual sphere throbbed and the numbers below it hiking upwards.

"Computer, is the experiment still molecularly stable?"

_" Affirmative. Experiment is maintaining molecular cohesion." _

_ _

So it was not only growing...it was still keeping its form, so to speak, the fox thought, despite its increasing mass, it was actually maintaining its shape and most importantly, its very structure, instead of dissolving into useless goo seeping with noxious fumes. He'd pumped too many of those down the drain...this was something else. A look at the computers seemed to support his feelings, too. The experiment was actually working.

Another alarm suddenly went off.

"Warning. Energy build-up detected inside experiment vessel."

Sanmer checked the associated readings on the computer monitors and frowned. Equal amounts of matter, energy and radiation were being fed into the system still...but something else was afoot. Another look at the other display told him that the cooling system was working normally as well, and so did the matter recovery...but still, something seemed to be going on.

"Computer, radiation status?"

_" Intra-vessel radiation level increasing. Temperature has increased to 333.15 Kelvin. Pressure has increased to 102.871 psi." _

_ _

Sanmer could feel the trembling through the floor clearly now, the pumps working frantically to keep up with whatever was happening inside the experimental vessel.

"Computer, is the experiment still coherent?"

_" Affirmative. Molecular cohesion at 100%." _

_ _

Another, an even more dire alert suddenly went off.

"Warning. Coolant system at 100% capacity. Temperature and pressure inside vessel still increasing. Advice to terminate the experiment."

_ _

"No," Sanmer grunted, "we've gone this far, we cannot stop now that we're actually finally creating a substantial amount of the smart material! Computer, bring radiation bursts and energy input down to previous level."

"Adjusting energy levels to comply."

_ _

Sanmer's eyes were locked on the glowing image of the still-growing experiment, which had now reached the mass of 22 kilograms in a matter of minutes.

Several rows of numbers in front of his eyes suddenly started to flash red.

"Warning. Warning. Energy levels still increasing inside vessel. Radiation, temperature and pressure reaching design limits. Coolant system will be overloaded in one minute."

_ _

"No..." Sanmer grunted, slapping his fist against the control console, "no...we're not giving up the experiment...computer, terminate beta particle agitation and decrease vapour spray output to 50%. Let's cool it down."

"Proceeding with commands."

_ _

"Come on...come on..." the fox crooned as he stared at the numbers, "let's got quiet now...you're doing so well...being so stubbornly stable while there's a hell around you...come on...we'll get you through this..."

The sound was terrible, oddly hollow, and echoing in the cavernous laboratory, bouncing off its dome-shaped ceiling and making the fox's ears flatten. His eyes jumped from the computers onto the experiment vessel in the centre of the room, and to the dark green plume rising from one of the numerous pipes that criss-crossed the surface of the tank.

"Shit!"

"Warning. Warning. Coolant system breach. Laboratory contamination detected. Evacuate room immediately."

_ _

"No...no..." Sanmer grunted as he hurriedly typed commands into the keyboard underneath his paws.

_" Laboratory containment protocol initiating in 20 seconds. Evacuate immediately." _

_ _

"Computer, shut down the experiment and seal experiment vessel!" Sanmer yelled before his voice broke in a fit of coughing that forced him to bend over, beating his chest with his fist.

_" Negative. Vessel containment breached. Initiating emergency experiment flush." _

_ _

"Oh no...arhhh..." the fox coughed even further as he frantically tried to type, "computer, cancel emergency flush! Emergency Sanmer override!"

"Negative. Emergency protocol is in effect. Laboratory emergency seal in 10 seconds. Evacuate immediately."

_ _

The fox's watering eyes stared at the increasing plume of green gas rising from the tank before he quickly glanced at the shiny steel door that was the only exit from the laboratory...seemingly so far away, even if it really was only 15 yards away from the control station...such a long way when his legs seemed to start to feel wobbly...could he be poisoned so quickly by the coolant leak? He'd have to abandon the experiment...which seemed to be beyond saving anyway, if the computer was planning to fill the tank with liquid helium and then pump it into the extra secure matter disposal tank...

"Computer..." the fox coughed, "emergency laboratory venting, now!"

"Negative. Emergency containment is in effect. Emergency experiment flush - "

_ _

There was a flash of light and heat, and Sanmer could swear he felt something brush the crown of his head before his last sensible moment told him that he'd just smashed onto the floor, and then there was only darkness. _ _

Sanmer felt wet.

The fox groaned softly as sensation returned into his body along with consciousness, and what it brought was a feeling of extreme wetness, soreness, and pain, and a terrible taste in his muzzle.

He blinked, feeling the water dribble over his slack body as much as his head and muzzle, and when he coughed, it made a splurt happen on the puddle he was lying on. A connection was made in his brain, one that increased the grimace over his muzzle.

"Co...computer..." the fox grunted, his eyes sore even from the flickering, dim light above him, "shut down...emergency sprinklers...Sanmer override..."

_" Affirmative _ ."

Much to the fox's surprise, the computer voice replied with its usual curtness, and immediately, the slow drizzle of water from the above ceased, leaving the fox lying face down on his own personal puddle. Sanmer shivered when he realized that he suddenly felt cold, and tried to move. An attempt to lift his body led into him splashing down again, letting him grunt. His muzzle tasted like blood...maybe he'd bit on his tongue or his lips when he collapsed earlier, he thought, vaguely, as he tried to comprehend what could've happened.

"Computer, status report on the experiment," Sanmer groaned, hoping that the computer could tell him what was going on behind him, where he couldn't see for now.

_" Information not available. Data connections are interrupted." _

_ _

The computer's clipped voice did nothing to assure Sanmer. More than that, he felt regret and anger. The experiment had failed...mostly because the equipment couldn't take it, it seemed. He'd built the best device he could have fashioned, and that wasn't enough. Now the experiment was totalled...and so was the lab, from whatever he could see. Smoking equipment, broken lamps hanging off the ceiling and the water-slickened floor were everything he could see from this vantage point. The total extent of destruction could be anything.

"Shit," the fox grunted quietly to himself.

Sanmer rested for a few moments before he made another, slower attempt to move himself up from the floor. He was soaking wet and the soggy lab coat felt awfully heavy on him. It seemed an awfully lot of effort to try to open the buttons, though...his arms felt heavy as they were...kinda clumsy...oh how he hoped that he hadn't gotten a concussion, or something even worse when falling unconscious. At least he was fairly sure he hadn't hurt his precious brain. He'd need to book an MRI at their private medical centre right away...as soon as he could see how badly he'd blown up the place this time...before crawling out with his tail between his legs.

Sometimes it sucked to be a semi-mad scientist, Sanmer thought as he felt his head spin, but he managed to balance himself on his haunches, with his paws on his knees, as he slowly turned around.

The test vessel looked like a mess. Even in the dim lighting he could tell that several pipes had burst, one side of the vacuum chamber had bulged with the force of what could've been an internal explosion. Tattered bundles of cables hung from above the tank, and a small curl of what was smoke or vapour still rose from one cracked bend of a pipe.

"Fuck," Sanmer growled. Five million dollars worth of equipment ruined because he hadn't pressed the "Abort" button fast enough when he could have. The computer had been telling him to, didn't it? It had tried to make him stop, anyway...but he had pushed on, feeding it more energy...more radiation...

"Ugh..."

Sanmer grabbed the edge of the computer console and pulled himself finally back to his feet, leaning onto it to gain his balance while he heaved and groaned. The previously lively displays were either blank or showing static, and one of them had even cracked straight through. The keyboard looked like it had been on fire at some point. If anything else, the water had ruined everything.

"Shit...rebuilding this is gonna take time..." the fox grunted, "Computer, please tell me that the data from the experiment was saved."

"Affirmative. All laboratory has been recorded in the quadruple redundant system."

"Small mercies," Sanmer growled. "Computer, is the intercom functional?"

"Affirmative. Intra-building communication systems are functional."

_ _

At least he could ask the night janitor to let him out of the laboratory, environmentally sealed or not. He needed a hot shower after this...and a good sleep...staying up all night every night doing these secret experiments was starting to have its toll on him, even without the odd explosive end like this every now and then.

"Good," Sanmer grumbled to himself while he began to drag himself towards the big black old-fashioned phone built into the wall nearby, for purposes such as this, when all other forms of communication in and out of the lab failed. He'd not be one to leave himself without options, after all...

Slap.

The fox's ears perked at the strange noise he heard behind him, prompting him to turn around. He squirmed as he looked about the dimly lit room, a cave of shadows, really, the suddenly noise could've been made by anything, really, he thought. All he could see were puddles of water left over from the emergency sprinklers and the tangled remains of his laboratory equipment.

"Crap," the wolf shook his head, and regretted that when it caused a spinning sensation to happen, somewhere behind his eyes.

Sanmer turned around and walked through the tepid water covering the floor, creating small splashes with his shoe-covered paws. All he'd need to do was the reach the phone and call the janitor. The sloshing sound the water made under his paws sounded awfully loud in his ears. All sloppy....slippery...splat splat splat...his steps seemed a bit heavy...why was that?

The fox glanced down to his feet and his eyes widened.

The water seemed to be shimmering, his shoes were covered in it, a strange green sheet that caused the blackness of his shoes seem dull through it, and this odd green goo seemed to glow faintly like the rest of the puddle he had stepped onto on his way to the phone panel.

The wet arctic fox stopped in his tracks and stared, astonished, at his shimmering shoes, and the gentle ripples that were appearing on the puddle even if he was stationary, not moving in any way that could cause the water to behave like that.

"That's not water," the fox mumbled to himself.

His heart began to pound in his chest as he stared with utter fascination at the expansive pool of...something he was standing on. It was rippling, slowly, small circles appearing here and there as if something had dropped on it, like calm water in the rain, but no....there was no more water coming from the ceiling sprinklers. Something...was making the liquid on the floor...behave.

"Oh my..." the fox mumbled, his tail lashing out behind him, sending wet droplets everywhere even under he heavy weight of the coat.

The green goo around his shoes seemed to ripple and slowly, small tendrils began to appear, crawling over his ankles and then onto his calves. It felt cool at first, through the wet cloth, but seemed to warm soon...and it felt...ticklish...and strange...

"Oh crap..."

There could only be one explanation, the fox thought. The experiment must've ruptured the tank and it had gotten out of the containment vessel and...

And it was alive.

_ _

Or at least something like that...it had definitely moved, since it couldn't have just been blown out of the tank by the released gas pressure...it must've actually climbed out of the tank...Sanmer thought with somewhat hysterical scientific deduction. The strange irradiated lump inside the tank had actually helped itself out through whatever hole it had found and it had set on to explore the laboratory....and Sanmer had simply walked onto it, just like that.

"Oh damn..."

Sanmer tried stepping forward, but both of his feet were already so much embedded in the thick fluid that he simply could not pull his feet away. He almost lost his balance, too, once he applied too much force to his right foot and had to wave his paws frantically so as not to simply topple over and land onto the puddle of mysteriously behaving goo he had created. And it was moving still, indeed...the strange tendrils of goo were approaching his knees fast, and becoming thicker, too, slowly enveloping his body...rippling and moving, too, not a steady pressure but something that was moving, as if it was trying out the feel of what was now slowly becoming enclosed into its grasp.

"Computer, emergency alarm," the fox spoke, feeling his voice crack a little with surprise and, indeed, fear, at his now unknown fate.

"Cannot comply with request. Automatic alarm systems are unavailable."

_ _

The goo swallowed his knees, definitely moving faster now, curling and twirling as it surrounded his lower limbs.

"Computer, open the intercom to the security control."

"Automatic communication functions not available."

Crap, the fox thought. So the phone really was the only thing left for him, the only way to call any help into the lab that was still probably fully sealed from the outside world to keep whatever had leaked into it from escaping further than the limits of the room. Sanmer had designed it like that himself...he didn't want any poisonous substances leaking out of the laboratory and into the working floors of the Sanmer building. that'd be breaking the OSHA regulations...but they didn't seem to go as far as to protect arctic foxes from puddles of strangely behaving smart material he had created via the holy trinity of high-energy radiation, carbon-silicon nanotubes and lots of raw power.

"Great time to break down, computer!"

_ _

_" Command not recognized. Please reinstate command or cancel request." _

_ _

" What a time to develop a sense of humor..." the fox grumbled as he struggled against the green goo binding his legs to the puddle on the floor. "Damn...damn, what do you want? I didn't design you to do this! Whatever you're doing there, anyway...eeeh..."

The rippling fluid climbed higher and higher up his legs until he could feel it envelop himself from the waist down. It had even wrapped itself around the base of his tail which poked out of the back of his pants, the tail itself now held up so that it wouldn't dip into the green puddle on the floor. It felt so strange...from the waist down he felt warm, because the smart liquid was warm, warmer than his own body temperature, but the rest of him was still chilly from the water that'd bathed him before he woke up from his temporary unconsciousness. Sanmer's damp furs tried to bristle as he wondered idly what would happen if the fluid was to enclose him completely...he would choke, unable to breathe through the partially translucent goo that was...swallowing him.

"Think," he told himself, "think what you can do..."

The computer...he could still ask the computer to do things...there could still be a chance...

"Computer, activate the emergency sprinkler system," he said. Maybe...just maybe the water would wash the goo away...there was always the chance that it would...maybe it was all that it'd need to lose molecular cohesion. Perhaps it'd drizzle straight off his body and down the emergency drains.

"Emergency sprinklers activated."

_ _

The cold water poured down from the ceiling again, making Sanmer feel even colder and wetter than before as it suddenly rushed down and began to bathe the laboratory and its priceless equipment with plain old H2O. Sanmer tried lifting his legs, hoping that the sudden addition of water would distract the goo, or at least weaken it...or just do something...anything...

"Come on, get off me!" Sanmer rumbled as he struggled to move, feeling his knees budge a little within the envelope of goo, but not enough to say that he could actually be said to be doing any progress.

"Damn it!" the arctic fox yelled and in his frustration smacked his own hip, the surface that was covered in the strange substance. His own touch felt oddly dull, insulated with the layer of goo, and what he felt...it felt springy, somehow, and warm to the touch, and wet, because the water was simply falling over it and dribbling down. He could see it form a layer over the puddle itself before it slowly trickled away and onto the floor itself where it sought a drain. The puddle remained constant and still held onto him with its strange grip.

"Urgh..."

Sanmer decided to try something else. He unbuttoned the bottom of his lab coat and pulled the hems open to reveal himself further, to see his lower body covered in the green goo. He could see its border, too, a kind of blunt, round ring around his waste that seemed to squeeze down on him occasionally but not do much else.

"Let's see how you like this..." Sanmer grumbled.

The fox pressed his hand flat against his belly and tried pushing his fingertips under the edge of the layer of goo. He poked against it and even pulled his flat tummy inwards quickly in the hopes of making enough space that he could push his fingertips underneath it. He was met with almost instant disappointment, however, the goo simply tightened its hold on him and no matter how much poking he was doing, his fingers were not going anywhere.

"Oh shit..."

The swirling goo seemed to be moving again, too...not upwards...no...was it pressing down on him? Sanmer let out a deep breath and took another in, seeing if it was trying to stop him from breathing, but that didn't seem to be the case. It wasn't covering his chest, anyway, so there wasn't much of an effect to that sort yet...but it was reaching somewhat, maintaining a constant pressure around him...but there was also something else going on, too, squeezing on him...like...like a brushing sensation...?

Then the fox realized what it was. The goo was actually moving again, but down, now...it'd actually slipped past his waistband and was now making its way down again, but this time inside his pants. Parts of him were being covered in a double layer of the goo, and it was moving l slowly towards his toes. Judging by the uniform sensation it was doing it all over him...that strange pressure and odd...stickiness, really, that pressed directly onto his furs now, making it feel different than the previous sensation of feeling the goo through the fabric of his clothes. Now it was on his bare skin and fur...slipping down...

"Uhhh..." the scientist gasped.

The goo wrapped around his groin on its way down and pressed his sheath snugly against his body. The sensation was weird, and grew even stranger when it slipped lower into his pant legs and also enveloped his ball sac within its slowly rippling bulk. Its slow motions were enough to tickle his legs on its way down...perhaps soon the strange goo would burst out of the openings on the legs of his pants like some strange goopy toothpaste.

"Shit..." Sanmer struggled against the hold of the goo again, to no avail, as it held its grip on the fox. If anything else, it felt as if it was tightening its hold...or at least moving further...if only it'd decide that the fox was boring and just stop...

"Damn, computer, at least stop this water, it's not helping at all!"

"Emergency sprinkler system deactivated."

_ _

The swooshing water dissipated, for which the arctic fox was thankful, but he was once again dripping, soaking wet, and the weird goo was seemingly trying to mummify him, even though it was not currently proceeding up his body, rather, now going back down. And it seemed to be tightening still...squeezing almost uncomfortably on his limbs...hell, it was crunching down his balls and making them ache, with all that tugging over his sac while the smart goo was doing its unspeakable things. Maybe...

"Computer, can you decrease the temperature in the room?" the fox's brain grasped onto another strap while his tail swiped the air behind him in annoyance.

_" Environmental adjustment not available." _

_ _

"So no freezing this thing off me then..." Sanmer grumbled.

_ _

The fox's eyes widened as suddenly the...concept...of warmth passed through his mind. He couldn't explain it...suddenly he was just...thinking about warmth, everything that it was, and it was if the thought was itching in his brain, somehow irresistible. It almost made him feel warm, too, despite being soaking wet to the bone. The goo wasn't particularly warm, either, only something akin to own body temperature...it was more of the pressure he was experiencing, rather than any clear changes in the temperature. He'd put so much power into the smart material, after all, he'd expected it to be warmer...or maybe it had to expend most of the energy into maintaining its simple molecular cohesion...

_ _

The same strange sensation filled his mind again, not lasting more than flash, but it was an all-encompassing one, forcing his very consciousness to work with the concept for a brief moment before it passed, leaving the fox with a frown over his face.

"What are you doing..." the fox hissed, "what are you..."

The goo shifted, suddenly, with a slippery noise that made his ears perk, even before the sharp clap of tearing fabric registered in his head. The pressure around his lower body seemed to lessen, suddenly, and his gawking eyes witnessed the rapidly moving goo pulling away his clothes!

"Whaat..."

The top layer of the goo peeled off him quickly, taking his pants away with it, too - the sheer pressure of the liquid in and out of it, and its movement had tore the fabric straight along the Italian paw-stitched seams. The fox stared with quiet awe as he watched the rippling of the goo take away his pants over to the edge of the puddle where they remained in a dark, messy bundle that seemed oddly dry despite having been covered in the goo.

And was he covered, too. The green substance now covered his lower body entirely, with no impedance from any articles of clothing. The pressure seemed strange, constricting around him...and even as he stared, further green tendrils seemed to form along the smooth edge of the goo and start making their way up along his chest, his sides, and judging by the feeling, his back, too.

"Damn...no...stop...stop..."

The tendrils grew with increasing speed, pressing over his shirt and under it, too, he felt, it was everywhere, getting up to his armpits in a matter of a minute or so, even if Sanmer no longer really trusted his sense of time. What he knew was that it had done it much faster than the initial attempt at enclosing the arctic fox in its strange goopy grip. It had even gone down his tail and quickly covered it from the base to the tip, leaving it hanging at a stiff, immobile angle behind him. He tried moving it, but all he managed to create was a brief sway against the elasticity of the smart goo covering his body.

"Oh damn..."

He could hear clothing tearing again, and understood that the fluid had attacked him again. It tickled his nipples going upwards, and he could see buttons floating on its surface, like bugs in amber, while the lapels of his shirt soon followed...the green goo slithering and tickling his throat as the first tendrils reached that height, and it was already teasing his armpits and trying to make its way to his arms, too...

"No..."

Sanmer feared that he would begin to hyperventilate and tried to calm his breaths, finding that the goop gave enough that he had no problem doing so, but the sensation of having to work his chest against the binding effect of the smart goo around him was not a pleasant one. It could change at any moment, he couldn't help but think, constrict him like one of those huge snakes in those awful science fiction movies...

_ _

He gasped when another concept was forced through his mind, leading into him feeling out of breath since the goo decided to tighten its grasp on him just when he was trying to take a breath, and he had to take several ones before he realized that he could still breathe normally. Having the goo almost down to his elbows was not doing any good for him as he was starting to feel like a particularly unattractive snowman or a scarecrow, perpetually poised to scare away vermin. Fox-shaped one, this time...with no traditional pumpkin for head, Sanmer thought hysterically, as he dully and duly noted that the goo had just somehow torn away his lab coat and taken it somewhere where he couldn't see it.

The goo tickled his chin now, rising slowly with its tendrils moving upwards, melding together as they did, stroking his furs flat against his skin while the goo continued its exploration of Sanmer's body. The scientist struggled to keep on breathing calmly, but it was difficult as he imagined himself being enclosed from toes to eartips.

"No...no..." the fox moaned when he felt the ripples of tendrils tickling the corners of his muzzle, growing wider...grasping...

"Ahhhh..."

Tendrils slipped inside his muzzle, stroking the pink insides, no matter that the gurgling fox batted them with his tongue that was soon poked by a tendril. The fox panted, not sure what was going to happen next, the sensation of the goo touching the inside of his maw so strange that he barely noted the goo slithering around his fingers...only the pads of his paws really visible anymore...

"Ororoghhhh..."

_ _

Sanmer wasn't quite sure why his would conjure up that idea when he was threatened with asphyxiation under a sheet of green goo he had accidentally cooked up in his laboratory, but it struck into his mind like the previous images that had smacked him on the inside of his head. It made him take several quick breaths, and he realized that he was still able to do so...with no impedance, even though he could still feel the tickling presence of the goo inside his maw...

"Oooobbhlhllll..."

Tendrils tickled his eyelids now, prompting him to squeeze them shut while the sensation not too different to having his head dunk in lukewarm water told him that the goo was approaching full coverage now. He simply stood in place, his heart thumping as he quietly resigned to his fate, breathing through whatever hole the goo had left onto its surface so that he could still breathe...for it seemed that the goo, whatever it was doing, was not seeking to choke him...though that could change at any moment, he knew, but for now...he could breathe, even with the goo inside his muzzle, covering his entire naked body...his ears giving their final flicks before the tickling fluid flowed into them and over them.

It was awfully quiet and strangely noisy inside the goo at the same time, his heart beating, his breath rattling in his lungs and the very rush of blood in his ears oddly loud now that his entire body was enclosed in a sheet of the green material. Its effects felt constant throughout, a skin tight layer that moved slowly, curling around his body occasionally before the sensation faded.

"Ohhhhmppphphphp!"

The strange sensation of being so thoroughly bound was...novel, to say the least. He had experimented with all sorts of things in his day but this was much more intense than anything he had experienced before. His body was held in a tight grip all over by the occasionally undulating, strangely heavy layer of goo. The only thing he could do himself was breathing while the goo continued its slow motion around his body.

_ _

His body tried to arch when the slamming idea filled his head, soon replaced by another.

_ _

He had no idea what that meant, but it made his body tense and still continue to struggle against the full-body binding that was the goo he had semi-serendipitously created. His brain itched...his body again fighting the constriction, wanting to break out of the shell of goo he had been involuntary closed into...to be reborn again as a new fox out of his strange cocoon -

_ _

"OHOHOBLBLRL!"

Sanmer did not like the sound of that...idea, going through his mind, the sensation of hunger that made his stomach churn even if he had not been hungry before entering the laboratory...so long ago, it seemed, an eternity ago. The irresistible hunger filled his consciousness, such a craving wanting to be sated that he could only come to one conclusion.

The goo wanted food, and it was going to eat a fox for its very first breakfast. Just how it was planning to accomplish that, Sanmer could not even imagine, considering that he was quite the solid fox and the goo was...just that...but he was quite sure that after all the chemicals he had poured into the tank, the end result could produce something that would be enough to create a pate of a fox in its own shell.

_ _

The fox let out a gurgle when he felt the goo tighten around his waist, expecting something awful to happen at any moment as it intensified its grip on him. There was further pressure...and...and a sensation...and his eyes...he was sure they'd opened wide open if he could open them at the moment, but he was sure now what was happening. The goo was slipping into his sheath, surrounding it from both sides like it had done for his clothes before, now taking the fuzzy tube into its strange grip. He tensed, his body suddenly hyperaware of the sensation of the goo...stroking...yes...stroking into his sheath, and over the dormant flesh that resided within.

When the tugging sensation began, he let out a gasp through his breathing hole, gagged so as being unable to speak anything else or make any sensible kind of a noise, expect that the surprise was quite well conveyed when he felt the goo begin to _stroke_his penis. Different rippling layers of goo over his sheath, inside his sheath...oh God, even around his balls...were they being squeezed...he couldn't believe that blood was rushing into his groin, even under the strange stimulation of the goo rubbing his meat.

"Hhyhhphmmhphphph!"

He was growing erect now, his cock tightening his sheath and poking out, surrounded by the goo from all sides while it emerged. Sanmer briefly imagined himself like he could be seen there, standing upright and covered entirely in the green goo, possibly with a boner sticking out of the side in a humorously stiff angle. He was quickly fully hard, he knew as much, the slow stroking motion of the goo was making sure of that, feeling like a hundred fingers on him at once, or like countless ring-shaped grips on him, pushing and pulling on different directions and stimulating his desperate meat.

"Ahhheheh..."

He couldn't believe it. The goo was really stroking him ...there was no explanation to it, it couldn't simply be that it was trying out the consistency of his body in different places...it really was actually jerking him off! The fox moaned again, well aware that he was drooling out of his muzzlehole while the goo played with him, tugging on his balls and pulling his sheath up and down over his thick, stiff boner while further ripples of the goo stroked over his cock. He felt himself twitch within the mysterious, unseen grip, and was quite sure that he was leaking pre-cum into the goo, he always did leak a lot...and he still was, but this time, against his own will, really...

Now that would make an interesting article for Science, the foxy scientist thought even when his toes tried to curl under the alien stimulation going up and down his groin. "Notes on Being Sexually Molested by a Bad Batch of Silicon-Carbon Nanotube Lattice Smart Material. A Personal Experience." He wondered whether that would pass the peer review process without a hitch.

"Ehuhmhmm..."

He couldn't believe it, the pressure on his growing knot, the almost-tickling sensation of the goo moving everywhere at once, it set his skin alight and he couldn't really believe how quickly he was feeling an orgasm approaching. The tingling on his lower belly intensified, and his massively throbbing knot, enclosed in its own sleeve of moving, tugging goo, pulsed appreciatively while his body tensed...yes..his hips trying to jerk themselves as the breeding instinct kicked in, forcing another grunt from the arctic fox while he suddenly felt himself twitch all over and the cum was pumped out of him in thick, quick spurts.

"AAHHHHH!"

His tugged, fondled balls pumped seed, his cock twitching, pearly white cum, almost the colour of his furs, seeping out of the gaping slit on the tip of his blunt canine fox-cock. For a brief moment the green goo seemed to balloon as it made shape for the offering from the fox's body, coming in further spurts and splashes until the fox's body was simply twitching and shooting blanks for a few moments, the scientist panting quietly as he slowly began to come down from the orgasmic heights of sensation.

"Hmmmmphh..."

The goo was not immobile for long, however, he realized, as suddenly the ripples began again, only a breath having passed before the motions over his slick tool returned. The fox gasped as he felt his super-sensitive cock being gripped firmly again, and the milking pulsing returned, the sensation as unique as before, but now pressed on meat that had been discharged only moments previously, and not really meant to be used before having another go. The green goo didn't seem to hold such an opinion, though, it decided that working the fox again was what it wanted to do, and that it would do, no matter the almost wailing noises Sanmer made as he was again milked by the goo's rippling rings.

_ _

The arctic fox groaned when the strange...telepathic...image coursed through his mind, though the effect seemed more dull, this time. Maybe the fact that his extra sensitive dick was being given a feeling that felt like having a pawjob, a blowjob and fucking a tight ass all simultaneously with some more exotic forms of sensation thrown in as well was having a distractive effect...but yes...his brain was yelling something...his body was yelling something...and in the middle of that was a fox suspended in place by a strange goo while he panted and yipped, the sounds echoing off the walls and the ceiling of the laboratory, heard dully by his encased ears, but offering little comfort. Being milked like that was skirting the thin limits of pleasure and pain, and Sanmer wasn't sure on which side of the fence he was currently sitting on...well...standing...whatever, he just knew that the goo was trying to get another orgasm out of him, and consequently, to pump even more cum out of his body.

The sensations from his cock were so intense that he barely noticed at first the increasing pressure somewhere else altogether, this time on the crevice beneath his permanently lifted tail. It was brief at first, as if experimental, but soon it happened again and became constant, and the fox knew...when his asshole began to clench, just what was being touched.

"Ehmmppphh..."

The pressure was but a little point, really, under his tail, keeping a constant but light pressure against his pucker-muscles, the forbidden ring which too was twitching like the rest of his body while another orgasm was quickly being forced by the ever-present stimulation on his dick. Adding the strange poke against his tail made him only briefly distracted...it was soon obvious that the goo was intent on exploring even further corners of his body, and right now it had found a new spot of interest, namely, his tailhole.

"HMMPPPH!"

Despite the intense stimulation of the milking motion on his stiffly throbbing dick, the fox could still not help but groan when he felt his muscle strength waning, the tip of whatever you could call it...a tendril...a drop...a tentacle...pressing into his hole. It did not feel like much yet, it was very narrow, but while the sensation intensified, he realized that it must have grown larger...thicker...spreading him open and allowing access into yet another part of his body. His tailhole clenched around the firm intruder but was unable to do anything about it, the tentacle was there, not a whole lot of the way inside him, but still, definitely there, keeping him open, and pushing into him.

"EhhHMHMHHH...."

The arctic fox's panting increased while he grunted quickly in succession, feeling his kneaded balls swelling, somehow, or so it felt when he could tell that another orgasm was approaching - almost a record time for him, he thought, almost wryly, when the increasing, exploding warmth made him buck and squirm once again as further cum poured out of his body and into the grip of the goo surrounding his cocktip. It didn't even stop moving while he was cumming, no, it kept going, as if trying to squeeze even the last drops out of the fox.

The pleasure his mind felt was almost akin to the orgasm still wrecking through his body, somewhat hazy still, but clearly perceptible. Its heat made the fox moan, suddenly overtaken again while his poor cock throbbed in the gooey grip of the smart material on his body. And not just that...the squirming tentacle of goo inside him seemed to have gone deeper, too, for once the residual pulsing of his inner muscles was slowly waning now that his orgasm was over, he could feel definite pressure where he knew his prostate to be. A kind of a round bulb pressed onto it, but still he could feel a further tendril enter deeper...plugging into his body, while the bulk of the goo inside him seemed to remain solid and only pulse occasionally...as if it was adjusting its grip on the fox, or something.

_ _

The Fox moaned when the strange surge of pleasure happened again, even if his body was starting to feel exhausted in the embrace of the goo and its obvious intent to milk every drop of cum out of his body. His smart material seemed to know what it wanted, and that was...arctic fox cum...something he was completely unable to explain, even if his mind was not really up to any hard...science anymore. Instead, his world, inside the hot, undulating sheet of goop was an endless stream of stimulation from his cock, his massaged, kneaded balls and inside his ass, too. His back passage felt full, not over-streched, but definitely stuffed, and the sensation went deep into him, even when multiple globs of the green goo continued to rub over his prostate. Being fucked by a green tentacle felt surprisingly good, the fox had to admit...at least it served as a distraction from the raw feeling of his cock being milked. The rippling sleeve-like motion...the constant drip of pre-cum out of his body...the teasing...the tickling...

"Aahhhhhh.h....h.a.h.ah.ah..." he moaned, still gagged by the tendrils holding his muzzle open.

And was it true that he was again about to cum...yes...that familiar feeling....

"AAHHHHHHHHHHH..."

And it went on...the goo still moving...stroking his body...making use of it...

He wasn't sure just long it continued, but he knew that for quite some time he would be forced to cum again and again, making his balls to expend even more seed until he was sure that he'd be shooting blankets...and even then the green substance continued its attack on his body, stroking him in and out until he was coaxed to give yet another offering. Time became a blur, and Sanmer wasn't sure whether he'd actually passed out at some point...he just couldn't keep up anymore.

At some point, he realized, he could see again, and he was lying on his back...not on the floor, but over a layer of rippling goo tentacles rising from the puddle, he saw as soon as he dared to crane his head to the side to see just what was holding him on this position. His body was still held in the grip of the fluid from neck down, arms and paws and tail included, but at least his cock had been left alone for now. It was covered in a sheet of goo but it no longed moved, meaning that he could look at the ruddy organ that was still hard inside its goo socket, but for now, it was simply there...not being teased. The same could be said for the goo in his ass...definitely there, but not doing anything particular besides being there and filling him up.

"Hhhghhh...hehhhhhhhahahh..."

Sanmer groaned and realized that his jaws were moving, and the tendrils soon subsided, to stroke over his cheeks and then they were gone, allowing him to finally swallow, and to move his tongue and lips freely.

"Ohhuuh...ouhh..ohh...ahhh.."

Not that he was saying anything that made sense at the moment. He just felt the dull throb of his painfully drained balls and his body which had been taken to its limits and then some way beyond that, too. Now he was just resting on his back, wrapped in the green, warm goo that seemed to be soothing him with a gentle rocking motion upon its swirling tentacles.

_ _

He could feel it again...as clear as the previous ones, as crisp an image in his mind, yet almost impossible to define...

"What...what do you mean..." the fox moaned, exhausted.

_ _

The repeated concept was soon followed by...

And it did feel good, so good in fact that even his cock throbbed and he moaned, but still, his body was too tired to appreciate it more than that.

_ _

"What...what do you mean..."

"Yes, yes, again with that but - "

_ _

Again, that craving sense of hunger that made his stomach rumble...

_ _

"Ah..."

_ _

"But..." the tired fox groaned.

_ _

Now that was new one for the fox, causing his ears to perk, mildly, even as he tried to comprehend what the smart material was telling to him through his strange images it was feeding into his mind.

"Together...good...sustenance...assistance..." Sanmer recited quietly to himself, really too tired and dry-mouthed to speak much, but it might help him to put it all together..."...assistance..."

_ _

Suddenly he felt himself being moved again...still in the cocoon, but this time taken back to the standing position again, and judging by the height of things from his vantage point, still supported on the tendrils of goo, for he was sure that his feet were not exactly touching the ground. He felt briefly dizzy, but shook his newly feed head a little and felt better.

"Okay...what now?" the fox muttered to himself. "Not more sex, I hope...I don't think I can...sustain you for now...sorry..."

He felt almost silly, talking to the thing like that, but things had been so strange for quite some time now that he was willing to go the distance.

_ _

As he watched, tentacles of the goo appeared, seemingly rising from the layers of the stuff surrounding his body, rising and then moving forward, six of them, slithering through the air as they formed, moving slowly through the air where they remained solid and swayed gently.

_ _

"Yes, yes, you've got these - " the fox mused, indicating them with a nod of his head, and then something even more astonishing happened.

His headshake actually had made them move...when he tilted his head to the left, the left-sided tentacles moved into that direction...and he stared...watching them wobble in the air like that...swaying ever so gently.

"What..."

He moved his gaze, and the tentacles moved as well, through the air, his field of vision filled with numerous green arms.

"What is this..."

_ _

The fox looked at the tentacles again, how they seemed to just be there...expectant...and he understood.

"Wait...you're saying that...that...together...sustenance...assistance..." he mused, "you mean...you mean..."

And then it made so much sense.

"You...you want my cum and you give me..."

He imagined moving his right paw, and doing that, the tentacles moved as well, swaying through the air under his control. The sight caused the scientist fox to let our a rather unprofessional giggle.

"So I get endless sex and tentacles..." the fox mused.

_ _

He giggled again.

"We may have to discuss the exact terms of this agreement, but consider that a yes from me...for now..." the fox mused with a mischievous grin on his muzzle as he admired his new mind-control tentacles.

_ _

He could already feel the goo stirring around his swollen dick, and he let out a helpless grunt and a yip.

"Oh maaan...you are one hungry glob of sex goo..." the fox groaned.
