'What can I do for you, sir?' asked the receptionist, sounding rather suspicious, but Kouga felt glad that the awkward silence was broken. Ruffling his back hair, the human replied, 'I'm on a date with one of my friends, and I was told that he has made a reservation for us here.'
As he spoke, Kouga searched his pocket and pulled out a namecard, then handed it to the receptionist. The middle aged women gasped as she read the namecard, and her attitude seemed to change instantly.
'Private room no. 3. Right this way, sir.' said the receptionist humbly, and Kouga felt a strange satisfaction of finally getting the proper treatment for a customer.
They walked across the main corridor, passing through the dining hall, and Kouga couldn't help gasping at how extravagant it was. The wall was painted hazel, which gave out warm, gentle feeling and matched perfectly with the exquisite furnishings. The lightings were elegant, not to dull, not to bright; cooped with the relaxing music; all just invited you to sit down and order a cup of steaming, fragant cappuccino.
'No wonder why this place is so expensive. I always think fancy restaurants are places where rich people come and waste their money, yet...This is just another way for them to enjoy a finer taste of life. Too bad the majority of us don't have this luxury.' Kouga thought. As a part-time waiter, he understood the importance of decorating a restaurant, and the owner of this place had completed that job beautifully, all that was left to test now was their food.
After having walked by the dining hall, they turned into a small corridor which was lined with shiny wooden doors. Finally, the receptionist stopped in front of a door with a tag which had a number 3 written on it. She pulled out a key and opened the door, then politely gestured Kouga to walk inside. The decorations were similar to the dinning hall, but the light wasn't as bright, which made the room even more cozy.
'Make yourself at home, sir. May I bring you something to drink while you are waiting for your friend?' asked the receptionist.
'Uhm...no, thank you.' replied Kouga politely. The receptionist then bowed and closed the door as she left.
There was only one table in the middle of the room, so Kouga helped himself and sat down, running his eyes at the surroundings, admiring the wonderful furnishings. After a couples of minute, he suddenly remembered something and checked his watch. 6: 40 p.m.

Kouga breathed a sigh of relief as the school bell finally rang, signaling the end of a particularly exausting week. Kouga's eyes windened as he read the note, 'What the hell? Do you know this is the most expensive place in town. And what is this for?' he aked, waving the namecard around.
'I know, but you don't have to worry about money or anything else.' said Leo with a toothy grin, 'And when you get there, just show that namecard to the staffs, and they'll lead to our private room.'
'Pri-private room?'
'Yup. I gotta go now, see you tonight.' said Leo cheerfully, not forgetting to give his boyfriend a goodbye kiss on the cheek.

So that was what had happened.
Kouga exhaled a sigh of frustration as another five minutes had passed. Suddenly, the room didn't seem so nice and cozy to him anymore. After all the troubles he'd gone through to get here. Kouga still remembered the look on his brother's face when he lied to him, saying that he would be out for a party with friends, and the way Kazuma just kept laughing at him every now and then while mumbling something like 'I can't believe it! Another five minutes passed, and Kouga's anger seemed to vanish, only to be replaced by worry thoughts. He knew Leo, he had faith in Leo. Kouga then began to imagine a series of scenarios, in which the latter seemed to be worse than the former, to explain why Leo was being late. Then, the door opened, and Leo walked inside...

When the waiter finally left the room, Kouga glared at Leo and spoke, using the coldest tone he could think of, 'Took you long enough? If you were late for another minute, I'd have gone home.'
'I'm sorry.' Leo apologized, trying to smile as he noticed the unusual coldness in Kouga's voice, and the unmistakable anger in his eyes, 'I forgot something at home. Please forgive me.'
'You want forgiveness?' said Kouga loudly, slamming his fists onto the table, 'Had you have any idea how worried I was?'

'Of course I don't, this is cider.' Leo grinned, 'My dad once forced me to go with him to a party, but I hate wine, so I had this instead. Now, let's eat before they get cold.'
This was no doubt the most expensive, most delicious and most satisfying dinner in Kouga's life.

After having stuffed their stomachs and paid for the food, Leo and Kouga left the restaurant, and the human immediately wondered what kind of plan his Shiba Inu had for the rest of the night.
'So, what do you want to do now?' asked Kouga.
'Well...' said Leo as he checked his watch, 'We still have plenty of time, but if you want to go home now, then...'

They waved a taxi, and before long, Kouga'd had a full view of his boy friend's 'great idea'.

'Precisely.' Leo agreed, grinning, 'But I can always find us an amusement park if you don't like being here.'
'Who says I don't?' Kouga grumbled. The human was annoyed by the fact that Leo seemed to gradually gain more and more control of him over time. It felt...wrong.
