Sigarr F. Seggr Is the name of a character i've had in the works for quite a long time. hes one of three characters i have an entire video game planned out in my head.

This one in particular would play in a mix between prototype and GTA/Saints row. its a third person action game, where various people have superpowers.

Sigarr, or Sam as most call him as its much easier to say, is one such person, who possesses 2 powers, which is a notable abnormality. the power of a (constrained) ability to regenerate, mixed with an ability to force his body to perform well beyond its maximum potential. aka, Overdrive.

His ability was loosely inspired by the various 'super' attacks that we all grew up with in games like final fantasy. Limit break, Trance, Overlimit. all of those abilities that was all about breaking past some mental barrier to momentarily draw out more power than one would normally have to perform some super move.

Distinguishing features: black colored fur on the end of his tail, almost fox like color 'sleeve' too it.

Physical description: The runt of the litter. A short, lanky, little arctic wolf. The smallest of 4 siblings, 3 boys including himself and a girl, by at least half a foot. He has no discernable fat, or muscle on his body, leaving him looking thin and almost wirey. Despite his lack of physical strength or endurance he is overall healthy. Well-kept snow white fur, with a small tuft of black coloration on the end of his tail. Brilliantly vibrant colored eyes run in his family, his being an emerald green color that almost seem to glow in low light. His diminutive height and tiny stature leave him looking unthreatening at best, and laughably shrimpy at worst.

Traits/skills: Has minor training in a Nordic fighting style using two long daggers. When visiting his grandfather they would make him train in 'the old ways', much to his protest. He was never very good at it as far as swordsmanship goes, but he knows at least enough to use them effectively in a fight without cutting or stabbing himself. Has an intuitive mind where, while he may not know the scientific reasoning and wording behind something, can typically gather a mechanical and conceptual understanding of something without understanding the actual blueprint workings of it. As an extension of this he is somewhat naturally empathic, and is able to gauge the mood of people around him via their interactions, and is able to instinctually grasp a basic understanding of the personality of people he interacts with.

Flaws: has a low self-esteem, that fluxuates sometime wildly in intensity. Ranging from only a mild lack of self-confidence to near total lack of self-worth. Certain things can rapidly bring up long pent up rage, such as calling him a runt or, ironically considering they've bullied him most of his life, insulting his family. Struggles with his confidence in speaking to crowds, and is nervous about first impressions. Physically he is rather weak barring his abilities. Small in stature, and only moderately good at running mostly due to doing a lot of it growing up.

Personality: fairly easy going. A bit cowed at first. He's been picked on a lot of his life, both by people in school, and by his siblings. Because of this, at times he has varying levels of self-esteem issues and can be a bit shy. He does have a temper however, buried deep down that takes a lot, or specific triggers to bring up. Calling him a runt, and making fun of his size is one of the easiest ways to get him riled up. And, initially, this is how he was able to access his overdrive power, through an intense fit of rage.

Abilities:

Regeneration : Brandr's body has the ability to automatically enhance its own regenerative cycle's dozens or even hundreds of times that beyond normal levels. Paper cuts or minor scratches that could take days to heal up close and vanish in seconds, non-lethal stab and bullet wounds that'd take weeks to fully heal can be healed in less than a minute. However, this ability can rapidly be exhausted, as it is based on his body's stored energy and endurance. The more his body has to regenerate in a short time, the slower the regeneration becomes, to the point that if too much damage is taken his ability to heal becomes no different than that of a normal person. In the process of healing, his body's metabolism is sped up exponentially, causing him to rapidly burn through his body's stored energy, and induce an accelerated state of hunger and exhaustion. From the few tests that have been done he seems to be able to heal from any non-lethal wound. Though it has never been tested whether he can regenerate whole limbs such as fingers or arms, as he has only ever been punched, stabbed, or bludgeoned at most.

Overdrive : Normally an average person is only able to access roughly 30-40% of their muscle's full strength, a natural defense mechanism so that we don't tear our muscles beyond repair during extreme physical activity. Through intense training, some monks have learned to suppress this ability and access 100% of their full strength. Brandr has the ability to not only push himself to 100% of his full strength, but force his body to go even beyond that, pushing to 200-300-even 400% his body's normal maximum strength. This also includes his senses, such as hearing, sight and such. However, as a defensive mechanism to protect him from going into shock, his body deadens its sense of pain instead of enhancing it during the ability's duration. The downside to this ability is that, while he can jump 10+ times higher than a normal person or punch 10+ times harder than a normal person, it decimates his body in the process. He could leap over a single story building, but shred the leg muscles in his legs in the process, and possibly fracture bones upon landing. He could probably punch through a brick wall, but shatter his hand and arm from the elbow down from the impact. His senses are enhanced, but are also that much more sensitive. An air horn right near his ear, while deafening to a normal person might simply rupture his eardrums during overdrive, or a flash bang might permanently blind him (Until his regeneration could heal the damage). The synergy of his two powers allows him to basically destroy his body, and let it regenerate itself. But has to be very careful in doing so. If he does more damage to his body than he can heal supernaturally, then he risks having to heal the damage naturally, which could leave it healing incorrectly and leaving him crippled if it healed at all.
