Species Name : NOAH (Nano-Organic Artifical Intelligence Husk); Rociel left the 'I' out on purpose for classification reasons
Origins : NOAH's were originally created for members of Rociel's Grand Legion, a race of Artificial Intelligent Life forms, who wished to experience the world beyond cyberspace itself. She soon found out that many individuals in her territory sought this technology as a means to escape Death itself so she distributed the Technology to her Colony cities that were populated with various races from all sorts of different planets.
Average Height : NOAH's can alter their Height based on what protocols they have active
Average Lifespan : It is almost incalculable to estimate the lifespan of a NOAH, though is dependent on the degradation of Intelligence operating it
Population : Few ten thousand individuals have converted themselves into NOAH's, A number of the grand legion supplement that population as well
Culture(s): NOAH's come from all walks of life, countless race and cultures, trying obtain some semblance of immortality by turning themselves into these constructs. There isn't too much to say about them, some people proud of their choice of becoming this way and some were forced to because death was knocking at their doorstep. Most people who become NOAH's are often individuals that come from races with short lifespans, diseases that make living somewhat unbearable or feel their race's gene pool has reached its end, some though become NOAH's for spiritual or Identity reasons. Aside from the Conversions, some Members of the Grand Legion seek life outside their Militaristic culture, wishing to experience the world itself and the personalities that reside in it. NOAH's are their way of out their former lifestyles, choosing to seek relationships and what not, or to sate the desire to become a parent to a little happy child, though many still remain loyal to Rociel and her goals, even to the extent of activating the B+ Breeder protocol to help extend her influence.
Sexuality : Some individuals become NOAH's for reasons of love, wishing to have a child with a race outside their own. NOAH's can also purchase a protocol to switch their gender or become multigendered. It all depends on the individual
Reproduction : NOAH's are capable of reproducing with one another and other races due to a special protocol designed by Rociel herself in an effort to promote unity and free love. She also had other intentions in the concept of this bit of programming by converting members of her CyberTrooper army then deploying them on Hera during the heraxion mating season to swell the ranks through usage of the "B+ Breeder Protocol" which caused the NOAH Gamete to develop a NOAHfied Cybertrooper offspring that would grow in 14 days. They are also capable of giving birth to Bio-organic children using a genetic template that is often encoded into a NOAH's memory as a means of Identification but is used to develop Bio-organic gametes through a special Nano-organ. The Grand Legion's NOAHs do not possess such a template but instead is a series of binary that creates a synthesized Genetic coding in order to reproduce with bio-organics.
Fertilization : a NOAH, dependent on what protocols are active, can produce gametes of both genders and both Bio-organic or Techno-organic gametes.
Gestation : NOAH's will gestate according to the parent's racial template, though can accelerate the development if they so desire through the activation of protocols. A NOAH parent is capable of also introducing medical Nanites into their Bio-organic offspring's blood string while in utero to aide in a healthy development throughout their child's lifetime.
Brooding (Average # of offspring): Through the activation of a certain protocol, a NOAH can dispense as many Female Gametes as they desire with the limit being their template race's natural physical limit in terms of children.
Abilities and Traits : NOAH's were designed in Rociel's more elderly years as military hardware though she didn't bother to implement them into her army's ranks after feeling this was probably her technological peak before she decided to pursue spiritual ascension as her means of Immortality. Rociel decided to release the technology for NOAH's in the hands of the Masses, though the conversion process exclusive in ISSA sponsored Colonies, she though that others could achieve their own enlightment through the Machine. NOAH's are imbued with countless protocols that can be switch on and off though some are off by default; fortunately, some can apply for their activation at various ISSA Citadel Colonies.
Data Downloading , NOAH's are capable of interfacing with most machines, devices and computers as long as there isn't a firewall in place that restricts them from accessing it due to clearance. This trait is often used if a NOAH desires to learn something of value, often it's normally a profession, skill, or a recipe for a good Oxen stew. This makes them incredibly talented individuals though some tend not fall into well with their chosen skill set.
Minder Machinations , NOAH's when they introduce Nanites to their offspring, Bio-Organic or not, they will monitor a child, providing a signal to their location at all times. The parent's Nanites will also monitor mood, stress levels, health, and biological responses to external stimuli, ensuring the NOAH father or mother that their child is alright. Now an interesting feature of this protocol is the fact that the Parent's nanites have a unique signature to them, indicating that child belongs to that NOAH parent, which is often used to return lost children to their natural parents. This ability is also sometimes used when a NOAH decides to adopt orphaned children, or wishes to keep track of their partner's whereabouts, it all depends on the individual.
Identity Crisis , Rociel designed the NOAH using some principles behind the creation of GELbots, which were robotic Gel lattices that were capable of changing their shape and form to suit their owner's preferences. She compiled a protocol into NOAH bodies in order to allow them to shift into a mental image that individual desires or feels but it's often in a limited form due to issues of espionage. Most NOAH's can change their physical appearance and gender every 720 Earth Hours, which roughly a month. One can easily apply for the restrictions to be lifted then are capable of shape shifting at will, though it tends to be a bit buggy when a NOAH is pregnant, due to a failsafe.
Damn Nigh-Indestructible! NOAH's do not require food unless they wish to experience taste, rest if they desire or warmth unless they are frozen in liquid nitrogen which sometimes causes one to be temporarily imprisoned. The consciousness of a NOAH is networked through their body, meaning no one single piece contains the individual's mind; it's distributed to every single NOAH cell in the user's body. It also should be noted that NOAHs are invulnerable to projectile weapons, to actually destroy a NOAH Cell would require energy weapons that use charged particles or Ions.To actually kill an individual NOAH, It requires the eradication of every Nano-organic cell that composes their body.
Lopez's Downfall , NOAH's if one or more of their cells are damaged, it will activate an emergency protocol to consume nearby in-organic matter in order to facilitate repairs. The one issue with this though is when it comes to dismemberment, a glitch in the protocol that still registers the body part exists while it's missing, and it forces the NOAH to try to retrieve it. Worst case scenario is if a NOAH loses his head then placed out of reach of his body's grasp.
Breeder Protocols , NOAH's make excellent partners when it comes to reproduction, most female NOAH's are capable of birthing healthy organic children. They are also capable of acting as surrogates through a special protocol that allows them to create an appendage that extracts female gametes from the organic's egg bearing organs like their ovaries then are capable of receiving the male gamete it order to host the fertilized egg or transfer it to another individual.
The DAIRY , NOAH's are also capable of lactating Milk synthesized in mammary like structures that they can construct on the spot and as many rows of these structures they would like though... I would rather not get into too many details about this "Perk"....
Extra Extremities Extravaganza , a sub-protocol that is often activated for reasons of personal entertainment or lifestyle, NOAH's can produce additional appendages and extremities to be utilized such as extra arms for grabbing a hold of things or to attract partners with exotic tastes.
