Timeline of how the Kraskits came to be and fell (subject to change and updates)

United Ilyich Federation

• Young, breakaway faction who established territories and autonomy during the Alexandrovich Rebellion.
• Self-styled galactic government of the people.
• Touts communist style ideals, all peoples are equal and the federation as a whole represents the people's interests.
• Is actually the total opposite, in reality a brutal dictatorship designed to enrich and empower the few at the top of the heirachy.
• Relies heavily on propaganda and public image to garner support.

Imperial Alexandrovich Empire

• Extremely old, huge and advanced galactic monarchy.
• Used to maintain total rule over the Nichego galaxy, all systems and territories within (before the Alexandrovich Rebellion).
• After the bloody and costly rebellion an armistice was declared and territories were negotiated (forming the Ilyich Federation).
• Very technologically advanced.

[Timeline (Using Earth scale of time for reference)]

• 1800BC - After years of unrest amongst the population, Count Yusupov, ruler of the planet Petro is assassinated. Insurgent force claims planet, installs new government and declares autonomy. IAE military force sent in to reclaim planet. Alexandrovich Rebellion begins.
• 1795BC - IAE forces pull out of Petro after a prolonged and bloody struggle with support for the reclamation quickly waning. Rebel forces spread to neighbouring planets and claim them as allied territories (mostly through force, although propaganda says otherwise). Forms the United Ilyich Federation.
• 1780BC - UIF gains popularity expanding their territories through recruitment and force. IAE has no choice but to defend loyal planets and territories. Bloodshed intensifies. However, IAE do not bring their full might to bear for fear of furthur losing reputation and support which in turn will furthur increase UIF support.
• 1763BC - To prevent furthur loss of territories and bloodshed, IAE request an armistice and negotiations. UIF agree, declare victory and division of territories and establishment of borders. The Rebellion is declared over and the UIF is now the 2nd largest ruling body in the Nichego galaxy.
• 1645BC - The UIF has advanced greatly in economic and technological progress. The "Order for the Reclamation of Territories and Peoples Rightfully Belonging to the United Federation" is approved by the UIF heirachy. UIF attacks IAE controlled Samara (a IAE/UIF border planet), declaring it the rightful property of Ilyich and its united peoples.
• 1644BC - IAE counter-attacks and attempts to reclaim Samara, prompting UIF to began annexation of IAE and neutral territories (neutral annexation justified by "reuniting their lost Ilyich brethren and welcoming new family" propaganda).
• 1643BC - Samara is declared under total UIF control. Count Orlov and his family are executed on public UIF broadcast. Footage of UIF troops and personnel torturing, raping and executing Samaran prisoners is leaked. IAE declare war on the UIF. Nichego War begins.
• 1613BC - UIF is unable to stave off the full military force of the Alexandrovich Empire and are quickly losing ground. UIF heirachy is getting desperate and turns to their military research and prototyping division for a solution. Dr. Michurin offers a solution and requests funding and support for secret project.
• 1612BC - Project Koschei (Reference to "Koschei the Deathless") is approved. Koschei promises an army of advanced, "immortal" soldiers within 5 years. UIF grant Dr. Michurin unlimited funding, freedom from law, restrictions and morals. Dr. Michurin liases with logistics division to produce advanced equipment for new soldiers.
• 1608BC - Ahead of schedule, the first batch of the Daemon Certaminis, the "Kraskit" are completed. These "Generation Zero" units are rushed through training and programming before being deployed into action.
• 1606BC - Rumours from outlier IAE planets talk of strange creatures with advanced technology smashing local security and military installations. After 2 years of deployment the "Generation Zeroes" have a 100% success rate with a 0% mortality rate. The UIF heirachy demands the immediate creation of an army of the creatures.
• 1583BC - The "Kraskit Liquidation Force", composed of over 100 000 Kraskit soldiers equipped with the latest in UIF technology and weapons is officially commissioned and deployed to the front.
• 1578BC - In five years the Kraskits have turned the war into the UIF favour. The UIF have claimed lost territories and breached deep into the Empire, obliterating the resistance and expanding the UIF exponentially. For the first time in a long time, the IAE are losing.
• 1556BC - The UIF now control over 3/4 of the Nichego galaxy. IAE is a mere shadow of what it once was and is quickly getting crushed. IAE authorise the use of "Final Solution" technology (technology formally banned due to its destructive and inhumane ability). Billions die at the hands of these newly brought-to-bear weapons but the IAE continue to lose territory to the Kraskit Liquidation Force.
• 1554BC - Realising the war will soon be at an end, the Kraskits are granted the planet of Talin as their home. The Kraskits claim Talin and quickly establish their own society largely independant of UIF influence. Their population swells.
• 1553BC - A neuro-suppressive toxin is discovered on Talin and dubbed "Blocker". It is administered to Kraskits so they can function without mechanical aid.
• 1542BC - The IAE, with the KLF now at their door offer up official terms of surrender. The UIF declare victory and begin negotiations over the final IAE controlled planets. The KLF is recalled and returns to Talin. Relinquishing their UIF resources, they choose to wait for when they are next called into service.
• 1533BC - Negotiations are almost complete with one major condition remaining: The decommissioning and destruction of the Kraskit species. IAE argues that if the Kraskits were ever to take up arms and rebel the death and destruction they would bring would dwarf the war that had just passed. The Kraskits are considered a major threat to galactic peace and security, decommisioning is approved and negotiations are complete. The UIF now rule the Nichego galaxy and the IAE are no more.
• 1532BC - UIF dispatch a decommissioning force to Talin and begin orbital bombardment of the planet. The Kraskits retreat into their underground capital and survive. UIF ground forces are dispatched to eliminate the species. Outnumbered and outclassed technologically, the Kraskits defend their home. The Great Talin Siege begins.
• 1525BC - The UIF has been unable to remove the Kraskits from their home, costing the UIF millions in resources and lives. Cutting their losses, the UIF heirachy approves the total destruction of Talin. Using former IAE "Final Solution" technology, Talin is cracked in two and destroyed. Very few Kraskits survive. The Kraskits as a species are removed from galactic record and history.
