"Look at them, they're sick." Atop a towering monolithic mountain lay a beast. The beast was sprawled out over the hard ground, gazing and growling into a turquoise pool of swirling energy. The beast was a wolf. Well, what looked like a wolf. From nose to tail tip he was 7ft, and paw to head he stood at 3 and a half feet tall. He bore thick red stripes down his sides, on the tips of his ears and the tip of his tail. The base colour of his fur being the darkest, deepest black the absorbed all life and colour, the same back that coloured the huge feathered wings that protruded from behind his thick, scared, muscular shoulders. "Bastards!" He growls bearing his thick, serrated, bloodstained fangs. The rage fuelled fire in his chest igniting his blood red eyes that looked into the swirling energy, down at the human world. "The vermin are so ignorant!" He shouts, his voice echoing through the still, chilled air.

"Oh stop being so hyperbolic." another wolf snarled, sitting in a circle with other wolves around a glowing stone that irradiated heat, it being a lot smaller than the first.

"Shut it Kel!" The first wolf snarled back standing up, facing away from the smaller wolf for the moment. "I wish Luna had never gotten you that fucking thesaurus!"

"Lay off Umbra, she only wanted to help me become a more learned LD." Kel grinned back innocently, his fur similar to Umbras' but he had white where Umbra had red.

"You think you're so much better than us, just because the weaklings in the other realm like playing with you!" Umbra turns bearing his fangs at Kel and spreading his imposing wings to cast an imposing shadow over the group.

Another wolf, the biggest in the pack and easily powerful enough to take both of the others stands and growls. "Quit it Umbra, if you hurt him Luna will cross over again"

Umbra looked over the wolves body sizing him up, his red pentagram markings showing how dark he was. 'You ass how could you let Kel get away with insulting our kind...I could try and use my wings to take you wingless fucks out but...no you're too strong, I will bide my time' Umbra simply grunted and turned back to his swirling energy leaving the group in a thick silence.

Later that night, Umbra was looking into the human world again: two humans were hunting a wolf through the forests of North America. They were catching up to the wolf, their metal poles of thunder getting close to hitting the poor creature. "Run!" Umbra called to the pup as it stopped to breath.

The shot echoed through the viewing portal.

"No..." Umbra faltered as he sat up to get a better look, the humans were ripping their catch to pieces. The portal began to shiver and pull on the charm round Umbras' neck, sucking it into the human world. "Hey what the-" Umbra tried to pull away but the portal kept him close, slowly pulling him in head first. "Help!"

"What are you up to now...?" Sand, a beige furred wolf asks looking up from her sleep.

"I'm being pulled in!" Umbra cries clawing at the earth to keep himself in the Mors Lupe Realm.

Sand looks puzzled for a second longer before pouncing at Umbra to help him. But she was too late. She watched Umbra fall down to the human world.

A few hours later..."Where am I?" Umbra looked around the new environment, he was strapped to a wooden table in the middle of a log cabin. A small fire crackled in the corner keeping the room barely habitable.

"Keep it down mutt!" Shouted a limbering human as he struck Umbra in the muzzle with the but of his gun.

Umbra recoiled and whimpered as a second human roughly forced a steel muzzle on him. He growled angrily standing up, the rope strapping him to the table pinning off an whipping his captors.

"Get him!" The first human cried firing his rifle at Umbra, the bullet ripping through his right wing.

Umbra howls in pain as his blackened blood drips from the hole before spreading both his wings with ferocious speed, knocking the humans against the walls of the cabin, killing one of them.

The other human then pulled out a knife that shimmered a silvery metallic colour and moved on Umbra, the menacing sight making the Umbra bolt out the door into the hazing sunlight. He gritted his teeth as the sun blinded him and the rough dust gagged him and inflamed his wound. Screams and cries rang out as the startled humans chased him and fled at the sight of him. Some how he managed to find his way into a forest and with warm hardening blood pouring from his wing and his pursers close by, Umbra passed out.

Meanwhile back in the Dark Realm, "We should get some help." Sand demanded facing the other wolves, her small beige coloured body looking like a chew toy compared to some of the larger wolves.

"Why? all he does is moan, and if we go in after him the other animals will notice and try and kill us." Kel growled looking up at her.

"I didn't know you're so scared of a little fight." Dash smirked stretching out in the grey dust of the mountain. "But I do think we should get some help."

"Like who?" Sand asks him walking over quickly.

"Maybe Daimion's pack." he says looking her over grinning.

"I guess I should go too," Kel says standing up. "Being nice means I have to save people right?" He asks moving to separate Sand from Dash.

A smirk comes from the far corner of the blue light of their camp fire. "So cute, do you really think that inbred degenerate will want to help you two?" Sneared a slender female wolf, the fifth and last member of the small pack.

"Shut it sis, no one said you had to come with us." Dash snarled, his younger sister having his markings over her small, dangerous body.

"Good, cus if sell-out there is going" She nods to Kel. "I don't wanna follow you fools."

"Fine." Dash growls turning and running off into the forest with Sand and Kel in tow.

Trix growls watching them go before moving over to the portal to the human world. 'I wonder what that bastard is up too' she says making herself comfortable.

Meanwhile, down in the human world Umbra was waking again. 'This is so soft...' He rolls onto his back spreading out on the red velvet mattress. Whispers echoed round him, making his ear twitch which only seemed to evoke more whimpers. Confused he sat up, wincing a little as he pulls his injured wing to his side, which now had been stitched and bandaged. He was situated in the centre of a circular room with four exits that where flanked with marble columns. The walls were painted a regal red and the floor was covered with a soft plush cream carpet. Both were luxuries that Umbra had only observed, and now both he couldn't understand how he'd ever lived without. The humans that stood around him wore red robes and gathered in small groups, whispering and glancing at him nervously. When Umbra stood up to address them, an old, small, hunched human strode in through the exit marked 'N'. He wore a gold trimmed red robe and carried a gold and safire septure.

"Welcome, Warrior." He declared bowing his head to Umbra, signalling the other humans who soon followed suit and knelt before the confused wolf.

"Warrior?" Umbra questioned cocking his head quickly at the old human, making some of the other humans recoil a bit in fear.

"We've prepared for your arrival as instructed Warrior." The human says walking slowly towards Umbra." Daimon eagerly awaits your visit, he continues.

"Daimon?" Umbra asks interrupting the old man, getting more confused with each groaned word that spouted from his mouth. More humans retreating in fear this time.

"Is somthing not to your liking Warrior?" The old man asks, concerned for Umbra.

'Of course, all they hear is growls if I'm in my feral form.' Umbra closes his eyes slowly and concentrates, his markings glowing a misty red making the humans blush. Bone was warped and flesh was stretched but after a few painful seconds Umbra stood up on the circular pedastool with a human like body, retaining his fur, markings, head, claws, foot paws and wings. The human spectators look on amazed, half their jaws dropping.

The old human falls to his knees before the naked Umbra. "Oh great warrior, you have shown us your great power. Tell me, what can we do to make you more comfortable."

"Bring me some food?" Umbra asks, testing the old man.

The man clicks his fingers and some humans place a platter of cooked and uncooked meats before him. "Anything else great warrior?"

A very long, despicable list of things suddenly runs through Umbra's mind
