Mistaken Identity (Chpt 4)
Yay, I finally made the next part
"So what are you here for?" She asked looking the male up and down, and gave a slight smile as he looked her up and down with a glint of hunger in his eyes. I thought about it and then thought I would take it to my advantage. I walked back over to him slowly with a grin, and rubbed my tail under his chin befor sitting down rather close to him. "I uhh.." He trailed off still looking at me. "Ahem, " he said shaking his head, "I was thrown from my pack, because I chalenged the alpha." He said hanging his head as though he were ashamed of what he had done. "Wow, you must have been really brave to try that." I said trying to make him feel better. His ears perked back up and his eyes widened. "Wow, any one else would have put me down for it." I smiled.
"So, whats your name?" He asked, his old attitude coming back. I gave a softer smile, "im Lightning, and your name?" He went into a daze as I said my name. "Wha.. sorry, im Zach." The male then replied. I wasn't so sure about this male, 'Well he looks nice, wait what am I thinking I don't even know this wolf, and here I am already attracted to him?!' I thought as I looked him over again. He was well built and obviously strong, all in all a nice male. I gulped as Zach took a step closer, and he must have sensed and liked it, because he now had a smirk and was getting closer. My whole mind screamed to move, but my body wouldn't listen. He was now only an inch from my face, and in one quick motion I felt his tongue across my cheek. "What was that?!" I asked in shock and surprise. "Oh, nothing, I was just making sure no other male would hang around you." I looked at him a bit questioningly. "Zach, what is that supposed to mean?" Even though I thought I knew what it meant, I thought Id ask to confirm it. "Well, Lightning, it means I want to keep you out of another males paws." I growled this didnt make any sense. "Woah, hold on there, im sorry if that offended you some how."
A little while later Rain came walking back in, and had two odd strap like pieces of material in her jaws. "Uh, Rain, whats that?" I asked. "I know your not going to like it but, they have decided you should wear a collar, just for these game." I growled my hair raising. "Haha, you have to wear a crummy collar!" Zach fell to the floor bursting and rolling with laughter. I was seriously thinking about pouncing on him, but Rain must have been reading my thoughts because she gave me one of those looks. "Well, theyve decided what their going to do with you as well." She said calmly. He stopped rolling and sat up. "What?" She smiled and gave him a wink. "Thier putting you in the challenge with Lightning, and your wearing a collar, just as Lightning." We both stood as if we were about to protest. "Now you two are going to have to work together." She said slipping on the collars. I looked down at the black leather and then to Zachs brown. "Now come with me, its time to get started." I looked up at her and then at Zach. I smiled at him, "Lets show them what we're made of." He looked at me and with a smirk nods.
