There once were two souls, broken and full of grief. Two people who endured so much, and only wanted some relief.
A harsh environment growing up, No friends around to cheer you up. Some people get a winning hand, and life gave you an empty cup.
So you learn to ignore, to keep your emotions away. Got close and into a relationship, only to get treated as a stray.
I too got the shortest straw, just made the wrong decision. My own relationship being abusive, until you came into my vision.
People talk about love at first sight, well I didn't thought it to be true. And then there you where standing, In that split second I knew it would be you.
We started talking about eachother, about all the troubles we had. Great things have small beginnings, And I decided to keep you from getting sad.
Our first date was really awesome, almost 14 hours of just us two together. You said I put some light back into your life, from that moment on things would be better.
The fact is that I really really love you, I just want to be with you for all time. To wake up looking at your blue eyes and smile, knowing that this person here is mine.
Complete trust and mutual respect, in such amounts that I can guarantee, If I were to go out and jump off a bridge, you would be at the bottom to catch me.
While I can't see into the future, no idea of the journey that will take us there. I can tell you that we'll walk this path together, and grow old in each others care.
