Kyle had been unexpectedly woken up by a sound in his room and when he turned on the light, he found Bily there and with a tear falling down his cheek, Kyle said quietly as they embraced, "You came back for me." And that's when Kyle's dad came in and Billy told Kyle to climb the rope out his window and leave and never come back. But never did Kyle know what happened to Billy or his father, but he knew that Billy would want him to be happy and so he moved on and eventually found himself someone new. And this time it was a perfect match and they lived forever. The movie ended by Kyle's voice saying, "Not a day goes by I don't think about Billy, but, I know what he did for me helped me in ways I never imagined, and I know that whatever happened to him, I will always love him and won't forget him, and he will do the same for me if he is still alive, and I hope he finds someone, like I did."

Ty had looked down at Kevin, who was snuggling on his chest, and Ty had felt tears hitting his chest.
