The Family Name:

Part One

Xiaohua sat in front of her mirror, and used her favorite coral

comb to pull her long, purple mane back into a wave pattern. Her

blunted claws worked in tandem with the comb to fix every strand of

the silky hair into place, just like her brother would want it. He

would be arriving home today, and that meant that she would be

required to perform their personal ritual like all of the other times

he returned. She let a low sigh escape from between her lips. She

suspected that her father, the Emperor, would soon find out what his

progeny had been up to, and he would most certainly not look

favorably upon the situation. The dragoness finished putting the pins

in to keep her hair fixed in a small knot, rose from her cushion in

front of the vanity mirror, and walked towards her closet. A servant

stood ready to help her dress, but she waved him off. Once she was

certain that the witness was gone she pulled back a mat from the

floor to reveal a set of stairs, and descended downwards into the

darkness. A quick puff of her breath lit a lantern at the bottom to

reveal her real closet in the orange glow of the lamp. "Home..."

Her forepaws reached out to pass a hand over the flowing silk of a

dozen dresses. Each one was made of the finest silk by a tongueless

weaver who could not reveal who had ordered them, or who they were

for. She dismissively removed the plain robe that she had been

wearing up until this point. It fluttered forgotten to the floor

while she selected something more appropriate for this evening's

activities. Her hands lighted upon a blue robe decorated with green

lilies and several orange fish of foreign origin. The dragon began

the difficult process of putting on the robe herself. It was a

complicated matter for a long, feral dragon to do so without the

assistance of a servant without the cloth disgracefully touching the

floor. The soft material settled across the lithe, green-scaled back

like a blanket. She carefully stepped a foreleg into one sleeve, and

then the other. Her ten foot long middle section lifted upwards so

she could cross the sides, and tie the ribbon to hold the entire

package together. Her yellow eyes looked over her form in the

polished mirror. It was to her liking, but his tastes mattered more

in this case.The

Eastern beauty emerged from the hidden wardrobe, returned to her

chambers, and set a sign upon the door that she was not to be

disturbed by any of her personal servants. She could not afford to be

seen by anyone at this point. To do so would be to compromise her

social status in a fatal manner. She did risk glancing from her

balcony out across the city to check for the telltale plume of dust

raised by approaching armies. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw

that one was present. Brother would be home soon, and ripe with that

delightful musk he always carried after a successful campaign in the

fields. Along with it he would carry that desperate need he always

got after being so long without her presence. Her duty was to sate

it. He had made that clear at every moment throughout their

childhood. She was not good for doing much else. He had also made

that fact known to her time and time again when he surpassed her in

every activity. The only things she could do better were womanly

activities such as cooking, cleaning, and providing her body for his

personal amusement. A shameful blush brought a glow to her facial

scales as she thought back on how she did not particularly mind him

being superior. He would most certainly take the throne after father

and mother passed on to join their ancestors. Xiaohua

could

only hope to.... Now was not the time to consider that. She still had

things to prepare.A

wooden bowl was laid down next to a red sheet of cotton cloth. She

nudged the bolt of cloth with her snout to roll it out and create a

canvas upon which they would paint their romance. The dragoness made

certain that the water was pure, and placed a cloth next to it. A

shudder traveled down her long spine as she remember the last time

claws had raked through her thin scales. Cleaning up the blood from

the floorboards before anyone could notice took her all night. She

would be prepared this time. It was not really the cleaning that

bothered her, but the fact that he had been so violent last time. He

had never outright harmed her during previous rituals. Pain had been

present, but it really only served as a form of atonement for what

they were committing themselves to. She craned her neck back to look at the

scars on her rear hip from the wound. Mother had noticed them at

dinner once, but Xiaohua had brushed off her inquiries by stating

that she had been cut by rocks while swimming. She was not certain if

Mother had believed her or had seen through the ruse. Either way, not

another word was spoken about it.Wind

chimes let loose their gentle melody as a breeze picked up. Dusk was

setting, and her brother's forces would soon be home. The usual

ceremonies would take place, a small parade would go through the

streets, and then he would ascend the stairs to her room to claim his

true victory. The dragoness neatly kneeled upon the crimson sheet,

but had to stop halfway down. She trembled a bit in anticipation, and

gazed at the thing that her brother hated so much. A draconic penis

had poked out against the material of her robe, and a bit of precum

was blotting the silk. A male anatomically, she knew that her flesh

was useless for anything. Shuí Kòngzhì's shaft was much larger,

and would be the only one to pass on the royal seed to some chosen

concubine or a daughter of a foreign Emperor. Xiaohua clawed at

the ground in jealousy. While she could carry his prideful spear and

his hot lifegiving serum inside her male body, she was unable to

carry his child like a true female. In the end, she was truly useless

to her brother as anything but a sextoy. His sister was no better to

him than a common street whore. A tear rolled down her cheek. It

dangled on the edge of her chin for a brief moment, and then dripped

onto the ground as the first fireworks erupted into the night sky.

"Brother, make tonight swift," she pleaded to an empty room.
