The Salac Tournament: The Good, the Bad, and the Just Plain Nasty

Elliot, the referee for the first round stood up in the center of the field where the first battle was to take place. "For the readers and the audience, I will go over the rules of this tournament round. In this first round, the challengers will fight only in their natural forms. Only one item may be used in the course of the battle. To ensure victory, you must knock out your opponent or force the opponent out of the battle area. Cheating of any form will result in the disqualification of offender. We do not condone the killing of opponents in the ring or out of it, but whatever goes on in the ring in terms of that is up to your discretion. With that said lets start this tourney."

In the press box was Sandshrew. "Why do I have to do this?" he whined to his co-announcer, Celia. Of course he knew it was a part of his self- confidence program as prescribed one of the final steps of his recovery from his self-consciousness.

Sandshrew: by random coin toss, we have selected which region with go first. Let's take it to field where Elliot is ready to flip the coin. Elliot is the administrative of Campus recreation and activities.

On the field, the typhlosion flipped it after the Hoenn conference called tails in hope of going second, but the coin went tails and it would be the HIA v. Magma.

First Match: Goodladies

Vulpix looked over at the collection of Magma members knowing that she wanted to crush Connie. Her great evils could not go unpunished. But she wasn't the one to make that decision of battle order; the computer was. "Alright, the computer is now selecting the battles...and I will finally defeat Connie." The screen scrolled as it made its selections.

On the opposite side, Eevee was perspiring fiercely as she was afraid of running into someone that would crush her. She desperately wanted to prove that she could fight to Yin. The computer finally stopped and the matches were drawn up. It would be Eevee v. Vulpix then Connie v. Totodile and finally Kudzco v. Yin. Eevee shrugged as she began her stretches. In her mind, she knew she wasn't a challenge to anyone anyway, but the thought of her trainer abusing her way back crept into her mind. She thought to herself, praying that Yin wasn't the same way. She hadn't quite recovered from those horrifying experiences that seemed to mirror her father's great misfortunes. You see, her mother, an Umbreon was owned by a sex-crazed, whip using trainer, who yiffed her and the other pokemon at his whim. One day, on the usual round up for new yiff toys, the Umbreon and her trainer spotted an Espeon and Mew yiffing behind the bushes. They captured to Espeon and transported him to their house. Her mom mated with him and had kits... but before he left Eevee's mom pregnant, he told her about how his life had gone and all the horrors he had endured. So far, Eevee has gone through similar things. OF course, she doesn't know just how much.

Vulpix growled to herself, burning with rage at not getting a chance to fight Connie. Totodile leaned over and kissed her on the cheek. "Don't worry; remember that I can crush her as well. I will fight for the both of us. Now take it easy on Eevee, she isn't too good." She nodded and went to the field ready to battle. Vulpix had recently taken on a strangely vengeful tone, and it worried Totodile. "I have to do something about her; she is getting darker as time progresses. She used to be lethargic, then energetic and a pokemon after my heart. Now she has suddenly put up vendettas with Connie and Yin. She still cheery, but her demeanor whenever they are close is scary, like a demon ready to pop out." Totodile had other things on his mind that pertained more to family matters.

Eevee entered the field from the opposite side. Elliot raised his hand and launched a flamethrower attack, signifying the start of the battle.

The battlefield was a desert, a cold desert oddly, nothing but sand. There were signs that this rarely used stadium was the sight of many a brutal battle. Eevee and Vulpix looked anxiously at each other waiting for someone to make the first move. For the rookies here, there were more things in store for these rookies than just the honor of their affiliations: it is the naming ceremony that they seek. This Naming Ceremony will put these rookies out of the regular heap of unnamed pokemon and make this unique. This name will follow the inductee for the rest of his or her life.

Finally, Eevee started off with a running Take Down technique. It was more powerful than many the spectators believed it to be as it connected with the surprised Vulpix. Eevee backed up some and rushed in for another attack only to find it easily dodged by Vulpix now on guard. "I can't believe you actually connected with me!" shouted Vulpix, seething a little bit for the embarrassment. "You have all that power but your accuracy is too low for it to matter." Eevee launched a Sand Attack, but Vulpix once again dodged it.

Vulpix had yet to attack because all she did was dodge one attack after another. Eevee showed no signs of slowing down. "Are you afraid to attack?" jeered Eevee, half-smiling. Suddenly, Eevee became woozy and saw that a strange ray was emitted from Vulpix. "Darn your Confuse Ray." Vulpix proceeded to trap Eevee in a vortex of fire. Eevee looking for an escape dug into the ground.

"You know you will miss and I will make you pay for it," thought Vulpix. Eevee popped up and couldn't see Vulpix anywhere. Scanning the area in front of her, she assumed it was safe and came out of her hole. Suddenly, she felt this burning sensation and a great fire built up in her tailhole. She yelped as Vulpix's flamethrower torched her. Eevee quickly conceded and was hosed off by the standby medics. Elliot declared the winner to be Vulpix.

Sandshrew: Beautiful performance by Vulpix. Conservation of energy is key to any victory.

Celia: The next battle should also be very exciting.

Eevee dried herself off and made her way to the Magma bench nervously gripping the towel in her maw worried about what Yin might do. "Damnit, Eevee... you could try thinking in a battle you know," said Connie. Meanwhile, Yin just shrugged. "Well you should head back to collecting data anyways." Of course Eevee was going, but she had different issues on her mind.

Battle II: Déjà vu 2 hours later

Sandshrew: Welcome to the Aqua Stadium, not affiliated with Team Aqua, home of all the aquatic fields. The next battle will take place on the pond field, complete with some grass and a progression from a depth of 25 cm to 1.5 meters. In the right corner is Totodile, a rookie from the HIA. In the left corner is Connie, a rookie with a mysterious past, from Magma.

Celia (to Sandshrew): Nice job there sunny.

Sandshrew managed to blush a bit. "I will be right back; I need to take care of something."

On the field, the two pokemon prepared to engage each other in what had become a sort of grudge match. "I shall crush you severely," growled Totodile. Connie just smiled menacingly at him. "You will be in the hospital all over again." At this time, Connie's body was seized by light and energy flowed through her body. She grew a bit taller and a pinkish crown appeared on her face. Murmurs flowed through the cloud as they witness a new pokemon: Manyula.

Connie admired her even longer claws and the better body shape. "I could get use to this." Totodile was not shaken by the increase in power. He had a plan to defeat this threat. Too bad in his plotting, he didn't notice the wave of Elliot's hand until Connie slashed his with great force across his body. He got a ringing in his head. Totodile dove into the water and went for the deep end. Connie gave chase.

"Whirlpool!" shouted Totodile. Connie wasn't the best swimmer, so she began flailing in the water as the vortex of water drew deep in the water into the center of the vortex. Totodile called off the attack when Connie couldn't rise to the surface. "I win..."

Kudzco looked out into the water and saw movement. "Wait a second! It isn't over yet!" All the water suddenly launched into the air, catching Totodile off guard. The big shocker was that a newly evolved Manyula managed to pull off that difficult technique. For Totodile, the surprises weren't over yet. She conjured up an arctic wind that froze the water into a slab of ice. Totodile knew that he was finished at that point: he was too far from the deep area of the pool to be able to avoid damage. It crushed him with enormous force.

Connie cut herself out of the ice and escaped unharmed. The ice froze around him and left him quite cold as well as crushed. Elliot declared Connie the Manyula the winner. Vulpix ran over to the field to thaw the ice above him. He leaned up to kiss her before his world faded to black. All he could here were the noise of clatter as the stretcher wheeled him away.

Celia: So now it is a victory for each side. Let's see who win for the Hoenn region. The next battle will occur in 90 minutes at the Savannah field.

Battle III: A Glimpse into the Mysterious Past

Eevee had long left the stadium area of the campus to head towards the forbidden archives of Hoenn. Legend says it is one of the several that contains all the information about its particular region and writes on its own almost as it is happening. But these files only wrote down the actions, attitudes, and history of the students on campus with names. This place is barred from public access and is only accessible through a DNA scan of semen. She transformed into her anthro form and began the process of entering the facility. Eevee wasn't too tall so could make an easy path through the non-DNA security. She stayed in the air ducts as she awaited her chance. "Now where am I going to find this guy so I can rob him of seminal DNA?" wondered Eevee. This espionage thing gave Eevee thrills and some redemptive value in the mind of Yin.

Soon, she saw a mysterious person walk up to the door and whip out his prick. The machine then forced ejaculated the guy and he entered into the archive. "Was that a human?" wondered Eevee. She stealthily followed him in before the doors closed. "Oh wait, I need to collect some of that sample. Using a spoon she scooped out some of the jism and put it away for future use. She used it to reenter the facility. what she saw was a mother load of files, both paper and computer copy. There were in her estimate millions of files here on every student that had come here as well as their immediate family. Keeping an eye out for the human, she looked for the A section for Yin's files because the files were organized by species then name. In all files, they contained DNA, height, weight, age, picture, blood type, eye color, picture, anthro picture, and records of exploits. "Here we go, Absols." She looked through them all until she reached Yin's file. However, only some data was there.

"Now why would the pictures, the anthro pictures, and the history files not be in here?" Eevee wondered as she made her way to one of the database computers. On the computer, the data was there, but it was locked up in a set of passwords. "Damn... this investigation will be harder than I thought."

Meanwhile...

At the Savannah Stadium, the crowd was in an uproar as Kudzco the Nuzleaf took his position on the right side of the field. He is known for sneaky items and often times concealing it entirely in his leg pouch. "Where is my opponent, Yin? I need to crush that grinning fool before sunset," jeered the Nuzleaf. Yin, of course, took his time looking for Eevee. Finally he ran into his newly evolved teammate, Connie. "Connie, where is Eevee?"

"She said she is reviewing the Team Rocket hideout video to investigate the strange occurrences you had her search out. She said something about interesting occurrences concerning Menkaure and Nido." She had a smirk on her face as she leaned into him. "By the way, next round is itemless and in the anthro form. I can't wait to see what you look like. I am pretty sure I look even better now that i have evolved. In fact, let me show you."

A dark thin haze covered her body as she grew taller and more erect and became her anthro form. "Apparently, you got C-cups now. Quite nice." Yin had a strange urge to lick Connie all over her jet black form, from her thighs to her shapely breasts, her soft shoulders, and that wonderful ass. "Yin! Go and fight Kudzco already, then you can come back to worshiping this body." Yin snapped out of it, bade here farewell and ran for the field. Elliot raised his hand and the battle began.

Kudzco quickly unveiled his item... a Grass Stone. "I bet you didn't expect that, Yin," sneered the evolving pokemon.

"I half expected something like this from a bastard."

"(Laugh) I don't expect you to leave this field on your feet." Kudzco was now a Shiftry and ready to clobber Yin. At the same time however, a darkness in Kudzco's heart began to emanate from his body. Yin and a few other could see this clear as day. "What are you doing?" exclaimed Yin.

"It is simple, I have activated my dark energy, something we and others have. Don't tell me you of all people don't remember?" replied Kudzco coldly.

"Of course I know. And to show you, I will wipe you off the face of the planet with mine!" He lunged forward to cut a little of shiftry's tip of his nose and used the sight and blood to activate his own. "You will satisfy my thirst tonight."

Back at the Database...

Eevee finally cracked the code on all of Yin's data. She quickly proceeded towards the exit. Unfortunately for her, that window of opportunity was over for now as a creature engulfed in shadow approached her from behind. She could sense it, but was too afraid to move. When it finally touched she almost let out a scream only to realize it was Sandshrew in his anthro form. "You took a risk today Eevee. If the Guardian of this place ever found you here, it would kill you. I can help you with this if you help me. Return here tomorrow for more research, the reason may be in the data in that disk you are holding as well as the fight. The two snuck out quietly after the strange person made his way out, tailing him all the way through security before making a run for the stadium.

Yin and Kudzco have been viciously attacking each other for a while now. "I call upon the Nature Gods to give me power. The Nature power became a magical leaf that swirled around Yin before it hit him repeatedly. Then he outran the leaves and slashed across Kudzco with precision.

The wood spirit cried out in pain as he felt the sting of the head scythe. Yin's signature grin looked even more fiendish as the battle wore on. He only had one focus, to kill Kudzco. However, Kudzco wasn't going down without a fight. "Great god of the sky, bless me now with the fruits of the sun!" The sun began to blind Yin long enough for kudzco to get to his feet. "Solarbeam!" shouted Kudzco as a beam of intense sunlight launched right at Yin. The attack left the dark pokemon barely standing. Kudzco walked casually over to Yin and punched him in the face. "It has been fun, now your time on earth is done."The shiftry began glowing.

Eevee rushed over to her seat. She joined Connie in cheering Yin. "I think Kudzco is going to explode..." Eevee said to Connie. She silently nodded. "Yin is going to die if he doesn't do something."

Apparently, Kudzco finally mustered enough power to use explosion. A dark mushroom cloud rose up from the field as gusts blew around the spectators. Even the announcers Celia and Sandshrew couldn't tell what happened. The ref was completely knocked out. But when the smoke rose, Yin hadn't taken any damage, but there was something wrong with the picture. Kudzco was worn out.

"Yin has a black energy swirling about him," said Eevee.

"I don't see anything," said Connie

"I telling you he had it."

"All I can see is Kudzco on the ground and Yin airborne."

"Say what?!?!?!?"

Connie wasn't kidding. Yin was airborne launching his attack people have dubbed the "Killing Edge", a deadly slash attack that always hit critically. He also happened to consume his leichi berry which increased his attack power.

"NO, Yin, don't do it!" cried out Eevee. Yin heard her voice and all the questions about killing pokemon just for the heck of it came up. He shifted his weight and missed slightly. Yin tossed Kudzco's body out of the field for victory. "Victory goes to Yin and Team Magma for this impressive display of power and brutality," said Celia. "Back to you Sandshrew..." She looked around and couldn't find him.

At the hospital...

Vulpix went looking around the Altaria hospital for Totodile's room. A blissey pointed her in the direction of the room. When she finally reached the room, she saw Totodile's trainer but in the bed was a larger creature that looked like her precious totodile, but it was evolved. "What is going on here?" she asked. Totodile's trainer sensed that she was curious and told her, "This is the Totodile you knew, but when he wakes you up, he will tell you all you need to know. I have a feeling though he is hiding something from me. Meanwhile, here is a Fire stone for you as well as the Nomener of the school; its a medicham."

The medicham walked in quietly and began performing a ceremony that appeared to be the naming ceremony. Finally, it asked for her chosen name. Vulpix thought about it for a sec and decided on "Reika." So now she had graduated from the ranks of the nameless to being Reika. She held onto the fire stone until her love decides to wake up.

Next time, its Team Rocket versus the illustrious KBI and the Crocanaw in totodile's bed will explain all.
