Hi everybody, My name is Billy. I live with my dad in a small house in Pennsylvania. My mother died shortly after I was born. A fire was started in our house, my mother gave her life to save me. This is the story my dad tells me, but I could always tell he was hiding something. He always says my mom was his angel, A saying I now understand. I lived a normal childhood for the most part. Once I hit thirteen, things started happening, things that were not normal for a kid my age. I had dreams that I turned into a monster. When I would wake up, I would find my sheets ripped or singed. Some days, when I would get mad, things would move on their own. And so many others. My dad would say that it was nothing. All these things I understand now. This is my story of how I entered a digital lifestyle.

I woke up on one of my favorite days of the year, March 14th. That day was my 18thbirthday, That day is also know as Pi day. I know many digits of Pi, up to 51 digits. My dad says I know this because I am special, something I never knew what he meant, at least until later that day. I climbed out of bed and got dressed. I went to the kitchen to make some breakfast, and my dad was in the living room watching TV. He looked over at me and told me to come sit beside him. I did, and then asked him what he wanted.

"Well Billy, There are several things I want to talk to you about. Though many things I cant, it isn't my place to say. All I can tell you is that you will find out why you are special. I know you have noticed strange things happening at school, and electronics malfunctioning when you get mad. Follow me."

He got up and I did what he asked. He went into a drawer in his desk, a drawer I never touched. He pulled out an intricately designed box. The box was oak wood painted a cherry red. He then walked into our computer room. This room was pretty small. It had a small desk that housed our family computer and dad's work laptop. He pulled out a device from the box, something that looked vaguely familiar. Something almost cartoonish.

"Dad, is that...is that what I think it is? Is that a Digivice, Well D3 in this case?"

"I see you remember the Show you watched when you were little. Yes it is. Hold my hand."

I grabbed his hand while I was looking at the device. It was completely blue, sky blue to be exact. He pointed his Digivice at the computer, which at that point, had the Digiport screen on it.

"Digiport Open!" My dad yelled.

The next thing I knew, we were standing in an open field covered in color. Reds, blues, whites, oranges, everything. In the distance, I could see a town. Somehow, I knew it was exactly a mile away. My dad looked over at me, his face showed his worry

"Billy, we need to get to that town soon. They probably have sensed you, so they will chase you. If they have, She would have too. We need to get you to the safe house." After he said that, Dad walked fast toward the city. I had to run to keep up with him, which normally I cant do. I looked down at my body, and my stomach was gone. My legs and arms were more muscular.

We got to the town, and no body is there. Or so I thought at first. I sensed someone coming at me and Dad.

"Dad, look out!" I pushed him out of the way, and I jumped back five feet. Man were my legs powerful. I saw a white dog go by and disappear into a house that is completely white.

"Billy that is where we need to go."

We headed into the building, and I was astonished. I saw a very small old man holding a staff with a paw on top. The name Jijimon popped into my head. My dad is the first to speak

"Jijimon, Where did she go."

He replied while looking directly at me. "She will be back in a while. She went to tell the other Celestial Rulers. If he is here, we will need them at some point."

I looked at my dad. "Why are we here? Why are you telling me about this now?"

He replied, "I promised your mother that I would only tell you on your 18th birthday. Only then would you be ready to be brought here. I am sorry I cant say more right now.."

At that moment I looked over at the door. "somebody is coming."

In walked the white dog I saw earlier. She saw Dad and ran to him.

"I missed you so much," She said in a soft voice, "It is so good to see you."

My Dad replied while hugging her. "I missed you too, Salamon. It has been so long. But why are you in your rookie form?"

"Well when you were gone, I used a lot of my power to save a village from being destroyed by a DarkRapidmon. After the battle, I degenerated. And you know I cant digivolve without you, so I have been stuck in this form."

My dad stood up, "Well, why don't we fix that." He pulled out his Digivice,and the screen lit up.

"Lets do it" he said.

Salamon then glowed with a white light, glowed with power.

Salamon warp digivolve to... Angewomon.

When the light faded, I saw a tall angel. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I though she was more beautiful than Kari's Angewomon from the show. She looked exactly the same as the one on the show, but the colors were slightly different. Instead of white, my dads partner was a very light pink, and I mean light, but it was enough that you could tell it wasn't a true white.

"Your beautiful," I said.

She smiled at the complement. She spoke in, well, an angels voice. "Thank you Billy."

I jumped when she said my name. "How do you know my name?"

I expected her to answer, but it was my dad who did. "Billy, obviously you know her name. But there is another name for her. At least a name only you would use. Billy, This is your mother."

I was flabbergasted. "She's my... my mom? How?"

Angewomon spoke. "Yes Billy, I am your mother. How, is a long story. It is not very often that a Digidestined has a partner of the opposite gender. Normally they are the same. Every hundred years a pair like me and your father happens. It is even more rare that a human and a digimon become romantically involved . Only one pair in every hundred become married. So that is very rare. Your father and I were one of the pairs."

She stopped speaking for a moment and I used it as an opening for I was a little upset. "Why tell me this now? Why bring me here? Why not sooner?"

Again, Dad spoke up. "I promised your mother that you wouldn't be brought here till your 18thbirthday. There is a specific reason for only bringing you here now. Long ago, there was a prophecy that said that a half human half digimon child would have the power to save both worlds if he was good. However, if he was corrupted, he could destroy both worlds. It said that this child would have the powers of all the digimon in the digital world. His power would be greater than Lucimon's power. Jijimon told us about the prophecy shortly after you were born. He also told us that it was a prophecy about the hundredth pair of the hundredth pair. That means that the first hundredth pair was was the first. The hundredth pair of those is what it was about. Jijimon did some research and found out we were the pair the prophecy talked about, so he told us about it. We knew evil digimon would be after you, so I took you into the human would. Jijimon said you would be ready on your 18th birthday, Your powers would be strong enough."

I interrupted him. "Powers, What powers? The only thing I have is my math smarts."

Dad continued. "Remember those strange dreams? Those were your powers awakening and growing. Like I said, you can do a lot. The math smarts mean that you are not a normal human. Your brain isn't only hardwired for human, it is also hardwired for digimon. You are here to learn to control and use your powers. But I think you have done enough learning for today.

That was how I entered the digital lifestyle

Two weeks later

I woke up on a normal day. Breakfast was waiting for me at the kitchen table. Mom was sitting at the table, getting her plate of food ready. Dad was already gone. He went back to the human world to catch up on work. This was something he did every few days.

"Morning Mom"

"Morning Billy. Ready for some training today?"

"Yes!"

You see, after the third day, I had started training. This was mainly hand-to-hand combat. Even though I have powers, some battles are physical. Mom always beats me, but I get better each day. The reason I am excited, is that today we start training my powers. I eat my breakfast and we head out into the field. We started out with some combat practice. I lasted for about 15 minutes. This is one of my shorter times, but I got in some decent blows today. We sit on a log that is near our training area.

"Now Billy, With being half human and half digimon, you can use your powers as a human. There are two catches though. The first is that you have to find your digital form. The second is that in your human form, your powers are at their weakest. I have met a few like you. Each one has a ... battle phrase I guess you could say. I ask for your training is to look inside yourself and find what that is."

She goes silent. I focus my mind and look inside my soul. For a long time, I cant feel anything. Hours have gone by when I feel something. I focus and I can feel there is three things. One focuses on balance, one on strength and stamina, and the last on defense and speed. As I concentrate, the balance comes closer. Soon I figure it out. I jump up and tell Mom about what I found.

"well," she says, "try it."

I yell with a confident voice, "Let's go digital!"

And nothing happens.

"it was a good try Billy. You tried, I may take a few times for you to get your form."

Over the next few days, I try and try, but nothing ever happens. Mom and I head into Oldeville, the town I first saw here. We spend the whole day shopping and walking around. We are about to leave when I tense up.

"Mom, look out!"

I get out of the way, and a Mammothmon slams into my mother. It wont give her time to get up and retaliate. I hate seeing my mom getting beaten.

"Leave Her ALONE!" I say in a strong voice.

Mammothmon looks at me, and in a deep mocking voice, "What do we have here, a human trying to protect a digimon. What are you going to do?"

At that moment, something inside me snapped. I let my instincts take over. "Let's go digital!"

A deep red light surround me, filling me with power, changing me.

Billy Biodigivolve to... Guilhumon.

When the light fades, I am completely changed. I have the marking and colorings of a guilmon. My stature is humanoid. My hands have deadly sharp claws, and I have a small snout.

I spoke again in a gravely voice, "I said Leave Her ALONE."

My instincts took over again and I held out my hands. "Fire Rocket"

Two fire balls leave my hand and spiral towards Mammothmon. They hit and singe some of its fur. Angry, Mammothmon charges me. I am too fast for him, I jumped into the air. I timed it right that I land on him. I look at his neck and I see something that scares me.

"Mom, he has a Black Gear on him."
