"Calem!"The husky snapped out of it, his ears jolting back towards

Cain as he looked away from the computer screen."Wow, you really do get sucked into that thing," Cain

chuckled, his paws fidgeting against the controller, pressing buttons as he multitasked

a conversation."You okay? You've been spacey since you came back from

class.""Yeah, yeah! Nothing personal, just trying to get this paper

done before I start doing other shit," he mumbled begrudgingly. It was hard to

get his work done with Cain playing the very game known as "other shit", or

Dark Souls II.The wolf mumbled something before getting up off his seat, scratching

his grey furred back and yawning so loud the other dorm could probably hear it.

He walked over to his desk, pulling out the chair from his own and placing it

the other way around so his bulky arms had something to lean against as he took

a look at the prompt. "... Classism. Sounds fun!" he said oh so sarcastically. It

was hard not to giggle. The husky had no idea why he did it, either. Sometimes

the rugged wolf said the driest jokes, but Calem would just laugh. It was hard

to tell whether or not he legitimately found it funny, or if he was just

flirting."Yeah, I'm not really sure about what I have in the class..

but I'm pretty sure this is a make or break essay for me," Calem grumbled, his

arms crossed against his chest as he sat back, just looking at the screen with

disheartened eyes. Hell, if the essay was alive, Calem would probably beat it

to death.Cain shook his head, a light grin on his muzzle as he stood

behind Calem's chair, his paws pressed against the husky's shoulder as he gave

them a well-needed rub. "Aw, come on, I believe in you!"You could see Calem's muzzle go a little red before he

turned away. "Can you stop that.. it's kind of weird," the husky grumbled, a

bit confused at his own words himself. "Oh come on!" Cain said, now placed away from his Zen. "You

know we have to talk about this, I mean it's been a week already..""Talk about what?""Must I remind you? The 12-pack of beer, me, my bed, your

ass.. which by the way was oh so sexy with my white, sticky-""Okay! Okay! I get it, yeah, we should talk about it," Calem

interrupted clumsily, rather having to talk about it than for Cain to finish

his oh so appropriate sentence."I don't know... It's just.. I never get that drunk.. and

when I woke up I didn't even remember what had happened.. I don't even know if

I liked it," Calem hesitated. He never really was sure about how he felt about

the whole situation. One one hand.. he gets along with Cain very well, on the

other hand.. he's his roommate, and things could get bad, fast."Oh.. you liked it alright," Cain chuckled, followed by an

"Ow!" when Calem gave him a well deserved jab to the arm. "Alright, alright. I

get it, so what do you want? Do you want us to just.. move on.. or?"Calem sighed. It was a difficult decision to make. I mean,

that morning was so embarrassing; it was hard for the thought to even approach

his mind until Cainbecame impatient."Well.. did you.. like it?"As soon as Calem asked the wolf just bawled out in laughter.

"Come on pup, I'm not nearly as lightweight! I can tell you every detail we had

that night, and God damn let me tell you, if I could get to that ass one more

time--"The husky didn't let him finish his sentence. "Sh! Okay,

yes, yes, I liked it too.. but... how could this work?! You're my roommate for

God's sake.""Oh come on, if anything that makes the situation even

better~" Cain chimed, now positioned over his own bed. The way the said it

completely convinced Calem for a second."Oh very funny," Calem grumbled," I just.. I don't know. We

get along.. really well. We have been, for the past four months." Calem and

Cain had been roommates for quite some time now and, up until last week, their

time together has definitely been more or less awesome. The husky paused,

taking an audible breath before his next sentence. "Is it.. okay.. if I wanted

to take things slow?"You could hear Cain's tail smacking the bed when he heard

that. "Are you kidding me?!? Of course!" Cain might have just rephrased that in

his mind to a sure "yes", but Calem didn't seem to really mind, seeing as his

own tail was swaying left and right. "I wouldn't mind getting to know you some

more before I got in your pants again," he teased. As sexually open as Cain

was, he wasn't one to choose meaningless sex over a real relationship. The past

few months have treated them well, and with Cain's newfound knowledge of the

husky's orientation, it's the perfect time for a test run."Now that that's settled. Finish that essay, I'm rooting for

you!" Cain exclaimed, waddling back over to slay some undead skeletons. The

husky smiled, his paws over the keyboard as he began writing the introduction.
